So technically you are saying that gambling can be more ideal as a stress reliever than making a trade?. well it depends in trading if you have knowledge regarding the position you would like to do is you make the right time and proper preparation at the same time, if you execute the trade properly its good but if not you have a mistakes every thing right there has a lesson but in playing gambling is you just make a deposit, play and let the game you choose to decide if you are a winner or not, gambling is more stressful because you are just letting other people make your luck not yourself with your knowledge and skills.

IN my opinion gambling is much more stressful than day trading, I say this for the following reason: for example if a person takes 100$ and that person starts making sports bets, that person bets 10$, loses, bets others 10$ and loses again, bet on 10$ wins, but then goes back to bet on 10$ and loses again, this person will start to get stressed because he sees that his bankroll is reducing all the time, and he doesn't know how to reverse this situation, then panic starts to take over him, but when doing trade he will always put stop - loss and he can do hodl for some time until he has profit, then he will not have stress when doing trade
I wanted to second you on this, but on second thought, I guess it's all about the kind of gambler and trader you are. When it comes to stress, gambling and trading are stressful in some approaches, and not stressful in others. The gamblers following your approach might surely be stressed, but what about the gamblers that do not follow your approach, but are relaxed and bet in a way that keeps them waiting longer for the result while they are away? This is as a trader that scalps could be so stressed since such would have to always be on the screen to get it done.
4822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: December 12, 2022, 04:52:06 PM
I think it will be a long time before Bitcoin returns to its 2021 highs, let alone $100,000. The epidemic is also one of the factors affecting the market, and the war between Russia and Ukraine has also had an impact.
Truly, it might take time before Bitcoin would reach $100,000 and I am not expecting it in the next bullish run in 2024 as many expect. What I expect is a stead coin that would make its time to be rising steadily when inflation has subsided and the global economic woes have eased to some reasonable extent. This would take time, but it could happen midst of the Russia-Ukraine war as the effect of the war is being priced-in already, it might not affect more than what it has already done.

More alternatives are now being harnessed, and the world should be out of the woods soon while the war lingers.
4823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 12, 2022, 08:23:29 AM
This was the last World Cup for Cristian Ronaldo, even the player left the field with very moving tears, I think the Portuguese coach was not quite right to include Cristian Ronaldo in the second half, consciously or not Seleccao das Quinas quite needed Cristian Ronaldo's presence on the field, because it has the potential to make opposing players will make a double defense to guard it.
The worst error Portugal's coach made was not playing Ronaldo during the first half. How could you start the game without starting Ronaldo when you know full well how his presence will affect Morocco's defense
Ronaldo has given Portugal's national team his all. We are aware of his prior contributions to their victories. He's not at his best right now since he's receiving criticism from people all over the world.
His decision to finish his football career in this way is very tragic. The effect he had and the history he contributed to football will go on forever.
I was sad, the whole world imagined that Portugal would be able to beat Morocco easily, but that didn't happen.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been wanting to win a World Cup for decades, since 2006 he has been doing his best to get this achievement, but unfortunately this was his last cup.

Portugal had an easy chance of qualifying for the semi-finals. But they missed the opportunity. Portugal lost against Morocco's extraordinary match strategy. After conceding a goal in the first half, Portugal could not get back on track. In the second half, Portugal's players attacked a lot. In the second half, we only saw the dominance of Portugal. Even then, Portugal could not score any goals in this match. The team that scored 6 goals against Switzerland was miserable after not scoring any goals against Morocco. However, Morocco qualified for the semi-finals on their own merits. Their match strategy is really good.
I am 100% with you on this, this is not about a mistake, it's about strategy, and what we see on the pitch clearly showed that Morocco deserved the winning. Portugal was most people's favourite to win the match, but they ended up losing due to their bad tactics, particularly on the part of Fernando Santos. I don't know why the guy would not start C. Ronaldo in such a crucial match until after 51 minutes. I don't know why coaches seem not to favour CR7 these days. Yet, they are all regretting it in the end despite not admitting it in public.
4824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambing Halal or Haram According to Jewish Or Christian Faith? on: December 12, 2022, 07:35:41 AM
But if someone has knowledge about that if Gambling is allowed or prohibited in Jewish or Christ Faith.
Personally, what you believe is a sin is what condemns you, so it's up to you on this subject matter. However, I can't say for Jews as I am a Christian, and frankly, no church or pastor/evangelist that is truly called by God would encourage you to gamble, yet Christians are still doing this as free will.

Furthermore, I've not seen a bible passage that condemns gambling, but the preachers of the gospel believe that Christians should shun what is addictive, just like alcohol taking and others. This is just the philosophy at which they condemn it.
4825  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation: Possible increase in the next US CPIs on: December 12, 2022, 07:14:02 AM
I think it's a bit odd to decide whether to buy or sell Bitcoin based on inflation, especially CPI, most especially US CPI.
Odd? I guess you are new in the investment environment, it's obvious you made the reply out of ignorance. Bitcoin is a risk-on market, there is nothing you can do about that. Or what do you think is causing the current selling of cryptos? It's the aftermath effect of the PPI released on Friday. Since it's higher, all risk-on assets, including crypto would start falling, that's the logic.

Most likely it will be 0.3% or higher. Besides last months CPI the prediction was always either spot on or it was too low, it rarely too high.

Inflation definitely hasn’t peaked. Job market is very tight. Demand is not decreasing. Groceries and rent is very expensive. Maybe housing, gas and cars have peaked in some markets but there is still a lot of room to run.
You are accurate on this, CPI will either be released the same or higher, but most possibly it will be released higher judging by the producers' price report of Friday.

Interestingly enough, the PPI figures have consistently dispelled the notion that the CPI increases are due to corporate greed and an increase in profits. Raw materials cost more and so if the price to manufacture goods increases, it shouldn't be a surprise that consumers are paying higher prices.

However, it is clear that chaos will not disappear without lowering producer prices.

What you guys have expressed is true and is a good correlation as the cost of finished products determines the producers' price, which will always have a direct impact on the consumer price. Since the PPIs figures were released higher on Friday, definitely, the CPI will be higher as it would definitely have a direct impact on it, which is envisaged to be higher.

Some will say do DCA then but doing DCA in a bear market is another bad idea. So just wait for BTC to find a bottom and then start DCA again till the next bull run.

I don't get it, reason people do dca cause they don't know how to time market.
DCAing is good, it's just a method to limit the risk of investment in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. And if you ask me if it's worth it, I would say Yes and No, and these come with reasons/conditions. The first condition is that it would be so worth it if the investor is removing the invested amount from the amount such cannot afford to lose. But No if the investment amount is small, the investor is a good speculator and has the target of earning big by holding the coin. So, it all depends.
4827  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 11, 2022, 10:11:32 PM

I.e imagine you want to buy a car of one million naira, that means as an individual, you have to wait for good 10 weeks to complete a transfer of just only one million naira (#100k weekly).  Too bad.
Mate, the policy e no dey like dat. Na only cash withdrawal is limited to 20k on ATM while inside Bank is 100k or individuals but for organizations and companies can withdraw from 500-1m. Apart from the daily cash withdrawal limit. You can transfer any amount of money to another person through e-transaction. They are trying to establish and also trying to make the e-naira more stronger and appreciatable. The limitation of cash withdrawal will affect everyone. But will affect POS more because 100k per day can not even up one family expensive, only one person nao go come collect the money and go home. And that day business e don end till the following day.  And HOR can not do anything because Buhari is backing them.
D issue be say people dey react before dem think, I no know wetin dey worry our people as wetin we need 4 our economy to grow, fight against corruption, money laundering, vote buying and many more translate to bad thing. Limiting cash withdrawal no translate to stopping you from spending your money, e go only increase accountability electronically. I no know wetin person wan buy with cash wey N100k no fit buy weekly, and if e no fit buy am, make d person do transfer. Even 4 local market, I dey do transfer for goods less than N2k, so wetin con be d big deal? CBN no dey hold anybody moni.

Anyone wey dey fight dis withdrawal limit is either ignorant or be enemy of progress bcos dis no go affect anybody badly. Even d POS people wey dey talk, special package dey 4 dem, but it must be properly documented. And our senate/rep wey dey talk, na their self interest dem dey fight for, e no go be business as usual 4 dem, but nobody fit missout 4 dis, not even d rural area people wey CBN don engage 1.4 million super agents to cater for.

Make everybody save their weekly cash of N100K for small spending and transfer for higher spending, simple!

This is not a call for panic, if what you narrated is really true, then it's a technical issue on your account. Your money would have long gone if your account is targeted, however, I don't know the hacker that would target a small account as you have indicated the size of yours.

Regardless, more light would have been shed on the situation if you had tried to withdraw any crypto to an external wallet. In this regard, they might have asked you to put your password because it's more secure than the P2P in which you can withdraw only to the bank account in your name. Also, check your payment settings cleverly.

Just contact Binance support, and it would be fixed.
4829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 11, 2022, 05:21:58 PM
England vs France yesterday was a very interesting match. The results proved that sometimes stats are not a reflection of what a team looks like, judging by the stats England were the favorite to win the match. But France found it more easier to win, England didn’t stand a chance against the French defense. I expected more from England because I watch the English premier league regularly and had high hopes for the English team. Is England overrated?
England is has a great team when it comes to football, I don't think they are overrated, it is just that France is better, I don't know where you found the stats that made you believe that England would or should win against France, but from the odds in online sportsbooks, it showed that gamblers were betting massively on France, so I am personally not surprised that France won, from the initial beginning of the match, I expected them to win, it would have been a surprise to me if they didn't.
So for me, I don't think England is overrated, they are indeed good, but from all indications, France is better in football than England.

Considering the balance between France and England, France is a stronger team.  I think the balance is in favor of France.  England is never a weak team.  They are still unlucky in terms of penalties.  Had Kane scored the second penalty, they could have gone to overtime and maybe even won.  It was what a lot of people expected, and France won.  For me, the dream for Morocco will be this far.  It's really hard to beat France.
Indeed, England fans still can't believe they were beaten like this. If Harry Kane had been able to score the second penalty goal, the game might have gone to extra time, and England might have won.
I like it when reading from people that are posting in fantasy, nonetheless, it was a good game from France. Although England was a good team in the match too, this does not give anyone the downgrading right on the French team that played well and still had luck on their side. I don't think that 1-2 in favour of France is a mistake. The French scored the first goal in the first half, while England scored the equalizer in the second half before Olivier Giroud give France the winning match. What could be heroic more than that? England has done their part but France that is the defending champion was better fantastic. Case closed!
4830  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: December 11, 2022, 03:40:46 PM
Is web 3 a misunderstanding word for some gambling crypto projects? I've come across few gambling / crypto projects that claimed to be a web 3.0 online casino and other but they still ask for KYC.

The definition of web 3.0 had everything to do with decentralization, block chain technology and token based economics as per what Wikipedia illustrated so why is identity/ verification integrated?

Is this just a misunderstanding of what web 3 actually is? Or it's a way to attract people/users to make them think that their platform is more advanced?.
You made me laugh after reading your lamentations which are actually pointless in the frank sense. Web 3.0 should have been nothing to use but for marketing gimmicks that their site is more advanced and equipped with the third generation web technology, nothing more than that. Certainly, this should not exonerate anyone from not dulling filling in and providing the necessary KYC information and documents.

What do personal information and web security have to do with each other?
4831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: December 11, 2022, 08:38:36 AM
Morocco have been marvelous in this world cup, looks like Christmas came early for the African continent this year lol. I can't find the right words to express how fulfilled I am by this Moroccan side. They have been defeated the world heavyweights in the world cup. Today's game was another shocker, after scoring late in the first half they were able to hold down the Portugese team from getting an equalizer until the last minute even after conceding a red card. I'm beginning to have a feeling that this world cup could be the best ever. I pray this impressive performance from Morocco will motivate the Super Eagles to see themselves as a world class team and push for greater heights.
Morocco performance was a surprise to everyone,  it is unbelievable for an Africa team to defeat a big team like Portugal  but Morocco did. Morocco made history as the first Africa nation to get to the semi finals,  this has never happened in Africa.  At this point Morocco has more chances of winning  the world cup.
Why people are surprised of Morocco defeatist Portugal it's because of Ronald, and base on Ronald is on bench that is what give Morocco luck to win Portugal but people don't know, because the presences of Ronal would have been a distraction to Morocco, so because of the coach of Portugal won a match without Ronal participating in early or the first time and they defeated and that's why they played without Ronald from the beginning.
Honestly, I did not watch the match as I was busy yesterday, but on seeing the result, I shouted as I never believed it. And for you saying that Ronaldo did not start the match makes me realize some lapses, I even read that it was a 10-man Moroccan that defeated Portugal, which is highly unexpected. Well, the deed is done and I am happy for Morocco and Africa for getting to the semi-final for the first time in world cup history. This is not only a history broken but will increase Africa's rights in football.
4832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 11, 2022, 07:44:57 AM

Newcastle are more likely to maintain the position
If Tottenham doesn't perform well they are getting displacement back to six position
Man United are another team no one should trust, they are not reliable, the form they have is not balance
This is still not certain, although indeed in this case Newcastle's condition is indeed very good but of course in terms of quality they will still continue to make improvements and this could be another problem I think. But even if it's like that, it will be very good, regardless of its position in the top standings, so that's very good for Newcastle United's future prospects.
Manchester united was becoming better before the world started, I don't know if the premier league resumes back the performance of the team will still be the same. I feel premier will be unpredictable.
Indeed the premier league will be unpredictable because Newcastle are going to retain that position,or better still go further to be in the second position because  they have all it takes now to remain in the top four. The only team I'm so worried about is Arsenal that have lost one of their best players due to injury,(Gabriel Jesus)He is so important for Arsenal because he poses serious threat to defenders, and the replacement they have in Nketiah cannot be exactly like Jesus.Maybe Arteta will will sign a striker in January to complement Nketiah upfront,or better still uses Martinelli there, and sign Mykylo Murdryk of Sharkter Donesk to play left wing for Martinelli to play upfront.
This should not be a major issue for Arsenal, though the impact of Gabriel Jesus might be felt truly, yet we never can tell what Arteta might do after the world cup. It's his duty, and his experience will bring out something good as a perfect replacement which might make his absence not noticed, there is a lot that could fill that gap.

That is not even my major concern as Arsenal is one club out of many. My concern is whether or not premier league will follow suit the way it was before the world cup. I guess there will be a slight overall change, what do you think?
4833  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: December 11, 2022, 07:33:00 AM
No doubt, there are lot of people's that are always thinking about how to scam with the people's.
There are lot of hackers that have already hacked biggest exchanges of the world such as bitfinex, kucoin, binance, and ftx exchange. Hackers steal millions worth of dollars from exchange. and sell these dollars in market and dump the whole market. So, this is the most ridiculous activity of the crypto market.

According to reports from many sources at this time cryptocurrencies is the second place used for scams, this is what makes many countries worry and make strict regulations, in my country all exchanges must be officially registered so that the site is not registered, it will be banned, p. which is natural because the scam case report from Cryptocurrencies is increasingly massive.

Your country is really fast on implementing this one. Regarding the exchanges that are in your country, are they local? How about those famous or global exchanges? How do they apply for registration so that they won't be banned in your country? If this were happening in all countries, those global exchanges would really have difficulty getting some registrations in specific countries. Only those wallets have been registered in our country because it is really required by the bank and the government which it can boost the confidence of the people to put money in their website.
I have carefully read what transpired between you guys, and I believe that more regulation is the solution to many of the corrupt practices in the crypto space. Many countries are complacent in this, I mean the government official, as they are not up and doing with their responsibilities. Take the US for example, no company would deal with the Yankees without dully registering with the appropriate body in the US. This is why the FTX issue did not affect the US citizen. I believe such is to be replicated if any company wants to operate in any country.

This will enhance accountability and give the country extra money on tax, which is their right so long as the company is gaining from their citizens.

I know this is just silly story but I want to tell you that my bitcoin journey is not fascinating but here I want to tell.
The story might be silly to you, but not to me, it's such that I love to read. I love it when people are making headway because of crypto, it makes me happy as this uneven society where the rich is becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer needs something like crypto to caution narrative. I hope more people could unlock the benefits of cryptocurrency to change their status for good. Many could not even get what they will eat to bed, but with crypto, the story might change with little help and orientation.
4835  Economy / Economics / Inflation: Possible increase in the next US CPIs on: December 10, 2022, 02:50:02 PM
Inflation is a powerful factor in an economy or investment decision-making, it has driven Bitcoin to lower levels in recent years, which is why I don't like joking with it. I've also developed the habit of alerting my fellow BTT member about what I envisage on it before it actually happens.

That said, the US CPI and Core CPI are the highest-valued inflation gauge for investment plans all around the world, and the next of such news is on the 13th of December (next week Tuesday) at 2:30 PM CET.

See the expected figures:

It's a day that BTC will be volatile towards either side depending on the figures released. Also, it's worth mentioning that the last US CPIs were unexpectedly released lower last month as shown below;

CPI m/m:

CPI y/y:

Core CPI m/m:

This helps the risk-on assets to rise against the USD, and the effect has lasted for a full month, although Bitcoin and other cryptos did not benefit much from it as it coincided with the FTX-induced issues.

Now, I have my reservation about the next US CPIs figure to be released, it would possibly rise, and it might cause the risk-on assets like Bitcoin to sell. How do I know? The last US PPIs figures were released on Friday, this is another inflation gauge, only that it's not as powerful as the CPIs. The news was released higher than the expectations of the economists as shown below, which is a clue to know what to expect for the CPIs news on Tuesday.

Note: As much as I would like to read your views about this, I hope it guides us better, but note that it's my personal view, anything could happen in the actual event.

Keywords:
CPI: Consumer Price Index
Core CPI: CPI where food and energy are excluded
PPI: Producer Price Index
Core PPI: Producer Price Index where food and energy are excluded
4836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Day Trading on: December 10, 2022, 12:32:45 PM
If there is something you need to avoid in day trading, it is scalping, it does not worth it in the end. The time and energy that it demands are not worth it as traders tend to lose at last. Another consideration is that crypto exchanges charge separately for every order opened and closed, and might not be wise for those with little money and scalp regularly. They might lose more through that while they continue wasting their time on such practice.

I'm not entirely against day trading, but it must be cleverly explored. This is in the sense of making sure that the holding time is in hours, it will be more reasonable and safer like that.
4837  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 10, 2022, 12:19:51 PM
Now you have $100,000 in your account, pure savings, and you don't need this amount of money to cover your daily expenses. Obviously it's good/free money to use at will. Let's say if you deposit the money into a bank and the annual interst rate is 3%, you will get a steady interest income year by year. If you use this money to buy Bitcoin, let's say the BTC drops to $17,000, you'll buy less than 6 Bitcoins. In the long run, what would you do with this money ? And why ?
It's good to invest one's money, but must be wisely, and I will not go for any of the plans you have tabled here. Certainly, I will not deposit this money in the bank, 3% interest is nonsense to me. I will rather invest it in other guaranteed investments I know, as in my country, there are still loan companies that would give me 20% annually as my ROI.

I might distribute 1/3 of the money into 3 of such companies in case one fails, and 1/3 will be invested in BTC as no investment could guarantee returns. While the last 1/3 would be invested in reliable US stocks.
4838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Gambling this year? on: December 10, 2022, 09:34:32 AM
The OP should know that external sites are mostly biased because they are influencers and would want to please their paymasters. I hardly see a reviewing site on the internet that is trustworthy, especially when they are labelling companies, products and services as best, they will now use their popularity, SEO and other mechanisms on the net to get traffic for it, which is the reason any company could approach them for partial review for money, and they review them as best.

It is better to look inwardly and get the right lists from real people that tested their services. The gambling board of the BTT forum is the place anyone could get the best, unbiased and most reliable gambling platform on the internet.
4839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance futures Are you full time trader ? on: December 09, 2022, 07:54:10 PM
Who cares if you are full time trader not? This doesn’t matter if you have bullshit trading portfolio due to trading full time compared to a accurate trading from casual trader. Sharing your trading portfolio will be more interesting rather than just ask whether user is full time or not on Binance. Also you should not leave your balance on any exchange including due to the risk of losing it once Binance run or experience same fate with FTX. Doing a full time trading on centralized exchange is very risky because you are leaving your money exposed to potential risk.

I’m not a full time trader but I do casual trade every weekends, my salary and significant event that will make crypto volatile than normal volume.
You don't have to attack the OP like this, everyone has the right to say something, and be sure that it's not everyone that is creative or sound in grammatical construction. It's the duty of the learned to digest things from these people critically and reply if need be. From what I realized, the OP is just expressing himself as a full-time trader with an exchange. The approach is a direct answer to his question and the gist is clear enough to me, which is the main thing.

Myself is a full-time futures trader, but I have other things doing in addition, and I trade long-term to give room for that.
4840  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Profitable and Growing Casino Website for Sale on: December 09, 2022, 10:38:34 AM
It is possible that he doesn`t interesting to communicate here. He left contacts in the first post.

I don`t how the casino works, but if he is telling truth - the ROI is about 3 years is good enough. But it must be researched seriously before deal, with some financial and gambling specialists. The same time i think that it is possible to spend this money more clever - get a good dev team, create a new casino and promote it. It is possible that it will take more time, but i sure that it will be cheaper and you willn`t have any doubts in the deal.
This is generally not worth it even if the OP is responsive, the asking price of $1,500,000 is way too high. This is the site that one would use extra money to inquire about through the tech experts on the internet to verify that the claims of the OP are true to some reasonable extent.

Besides, can you imagine, a casino site garnering as low as 47,259.96 in a whole half of a year, how many years would the buyer run it before such a huge asking price and the investigation amount be made back? It's a bad business in my opinion, and who knows why someone would want to sell a working casino.

If the OP tell us the truth - 3 years ROI doesn`t seems a big time for ready business. $47,259.96 - it is per month, if i understand correct. The OP tells us: Annual turnover: 425.693 EUR So, the ROI is 3 year with several months.
But i don`t think that it is a good idea to spend such sum to get online business, it isn`t the same as to buy an offline project.

For sale is an online growing casino website, generating in the last 6 months an average of $47,259.96, and growing.

Annual turnover: 425.693 EUR

Operating profit (EBITDA): 411.886 EUR

Turnover from previous years: 385.905 EUR
I relied on the above data to make my reply earlier, and you should be sensitive to deals like this so that people will not make the fool out of you. I hope you read the first line very well, and according to my knowledge of it, the OP claims that $47,259.96 was made in 6 months. So long as he didn't include 'monthly', I will go by the 6 months. Meaning $47,259.96/6 = $7,876.66 per month.

Also, he was clever to use a dot(.) on the annual turnover, operating profit and previous years' turnover, which made me disregard it since his values were thorough on the first line which has a dot and comma, why not in the rest? This deal is sketchy, it's not advisable even if the offer is still active.
