4821  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: October 05, 2017, 02:14:50 AM
Gold is not a traditional currency and would not be accepted as a means of payment, it is used as a store of value. Bitcoin is meant to be a currency and therefore they are entirely different in that sense. I think eventually holdings of btc will outweigh gold but for now they are not even close.
Before bitcoin was invented gold was the best investment but when it began to become popular and there are people who are really making money
on it some big investors are jumping on it as it has a great future and their money can increase into a substantial amount based on the history or trend.
4822  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: October 05, 2017, 02:07:58 AM
government can't handle bitcoin and for sure there will be more problems if the government handle bitcoins and for sure the government will just manipulate it's price because they are handling it.

I'm sure this will never happen because if the government takes over the bitcoin then our decentralised bitcoin won't be decentralised anymore. That's the thing, currently it's not regulated and it's price is increasing because we can manipulate the way we want it. We can bring up the flood of investment with big investors and can just pump it the way we want. :-)

If government is there then everything will be messed up and for sure they will manipulate the price for themselves and not for the public interest. Might do that for the millilitre use who knows. To buy weapons. Lols. So hopefully that should not happen.

I hope that government would not take over the bitcoin because probably the currency will change to decreasing point and yes obviously they were going to manipulate the price for themselves because most of the governments are corrupted.
Most corrupt government will not support bitcoin because they are supporting the transparent one.
They want to stay with decentralized system so they can control everything, bitcoin is the opposite but it gives real transparency and freedom to people.
4823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: October 05, 2017, 01:45:07 AM
Exsсudo looks very promising. I believe in success. I hope, I will have time to buy the EION at a low price right after listing  on exchanges.
Our EON is worth big compared to the ICO price and I strong believe on that.
Devs are making a superb update and their work is very classy, time to test the testnet, good luck and hope for success.

The price is moving now to 17k satoshi
Seems the full version will be release soon. Its good time to buy.
The FUD is over I guess, now that the price is stable we can expect a good rise in the coming weeks.
The beta release was very successful and being the first casino with no house edge gives people the trust to gamble as they
know they are not cheated.
4825  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: October 04, 2017, 04:31:45 AM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?

For me it is hard to compare both because gold is a literal gold that we could hold and wear while bitcoin is virtual we can keep it on wallets but we cannot hold or wear them. Holdings of both are good investments because as years go by the value becomes higher and that is advantage to the investors.
If you have experience holding both then I guess we can compare, actually it's hard to hold gold since it's a very expensive investment unlike
bitcoin where we can easily have it anytime we want. The good thing with bitcoin is that even a very small time person can invest as long as he has big
dreams in his life.

A little patient man, I guess you should be more strong now that the launch will happen soon.
You EONs will worth bigger than you expected as the team are well prepared for the launch which will make the value of our coins to increase.
4827  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: October 03, 2017, 11:00:30 AM

It is not freedom well. because bitcoin not approve over all country. it is not legal every country.so, i think bitcoin not freedom well.
You can still use bitcoin even if it's not approve in all countries as long as it is not illegal.
In fact even if the government will ban bitcoin we can still transact using it as they can never shut down the entire system, the miners
will make it possible for us and we can also mine ourselves.
4828  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 03, 2017, 10:57:00 AM
Gold is extremely mainstream even today many individuals still keep it well or exchange bond stocks. In any case, I lean toward bitcoin in light of the fact that its utility level is altogether different, gold is a relentless venture resource yet has a value incline that never goes down despite the fact that its development is moderate. Bitcoin has a double part, other than as a venture resource, bitcoin has an incentive as a cash with speedier development than gold. Since I'm youthful and loaded with thoughts and energy, bitcoin is the best decision at the present time.
Absolutely right, at present Bitcoin is the better of the two things. Bitcoin has dimensional ways of using but gold is the only source of saving. if you say about the method of transforming into the money then Bitcoin would be the best. but when you talk about the availability then gold would come first. but in comparison to all other facilities, Bitcoin must provide better facilities rather than Gold nowadays.
Bitcoin is useful for everyone and everyone has a chance to use bitcoin to benefit from it, gold is just a mere investment but in reality it
has no use for our daily living unlike bitocin which can be use to gain easy, cheap, and faster transaction.
With bitcoin we are give full freedom as no government are controlling it and we can transact even without their approval.
4829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] WeTrust - For the People, By the People! on: October 03, 2017, 10:44:36 AM
Too bad for me that couldn't benefit of this dip fully. In early days of month when money usually run short this opportunity knocked on my door but i can't open door for this. I am quite hopeful to see at least once more price touching these range before releases of ROSCA.
What do you mean, the price is pretty low right now, it's below 10K sats and I think once the ROSCA is out it will break the all time high.
Just recently it even reach 11k so this is already a good buy for those who want to make money in a short period of time.
4830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: September 30, 2017, 04:49:42 AM
As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  Smiley
Thats true. Right now the value of bitcoin reaches already the $4000. We can see how fast it grows. In just a couple of months its triple its prcie. Bitcoin was really turning into better. It slowly growing and lot of people got interested on it the fact that its value was continue increasing. I think before this year end it cam reach the $5000 value or maybe more than that.
I am sure we will end at close to $10,000 this year, the FUD is over and we were able to overcome the big news about china banning
ICOs and exchanges, bitcoin is strong and it's starting to get back on top now, one the ATH will be break, it will be an uptrend direction again.
4831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: September 30, 2017, 04:26:46 AM
BTC might just be the new era of currency but it will still stay as an asset for a while longer. It would be good to see BTC goes mass adapt and everyone can go cashless. BTC is improving years after years, slowly but surely!
bitcoin is the best asset of the time, but it can be said as bitcoin assets can be a currency in modern times, we can surf freely to many countries, because almost all countries in the world have received bitcoin payment, this can make it easier for us to do metodevpayments anywhere without the fear of high transaction costs
It will become bigger and bigger as we continue to support bitcoin, it's not centralized and no one is controlling is
so when we make bigger demands we can surely be benefited if we are also investors.
4832  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 30, 2017, 03:10:37 AM
Its wise to save, but its best to invest. You just have to be careful on where to put your money, investing needs work and lots of study.
Savings has no risk while investing involves big risk.
Be wise everyone, know your capacity because you'll not be able to make money if you make a decision
that is not based on your passion. Investing is risky so think wisely but don't miss this opportunity to invest with bitcoin.
4833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: September 29, 2017, 10:45:58 AM
Investing is more easy than gambling. With gambling you have to think about many things, give yourself a predict that could lead you to win or lose the money. But it's really hard than investing. Investing , basiclly is you're giving someone your money and they will try to earn profit from it than give it back to you. So you only have to choose the right one to "hold your golds " not get headache about the plan how to make the profit.
Then mentality of investors are different from gamblers because investments are long term while gambling you will expect and instant money.
Also, think of the chances, we all know that the house has an edge so no matter what effort we will do we are still gonna lose in the long run.
4834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Bowhead Health Bounty Campaign on: September 29, 2017, 10:19:26 AM
How are things with bounty hunters? Did you compromise? Have reached a consensus?
Nothing has change I guess, I check the spreadsheet and it seems that they still with their rules.
I am pretty sure that bounty participants are really upset with what happen, how would they compensate it now when most of the bounty
participants does not agree with the new rules.
4835  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: September 28, 2017, 03:01:59 AM

I think paper money will not go away. Everyone is not connected to the Internet, and some people can not be connected.

Indeed paper money will not be replaced by bitcoin because it has already build a strong foundation to the people that it was the most convenient way to use for any kinds of transactions that even children know how to use. Money will last forever as it is already long established by all nations.
For sure, there is no reason why paper money should be eliminated in the circulation, it gives majority of the people an ease to transact.
Although digital money is getting more popular now but this two could exist and will share the demand.
4836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ☘☘☘☘ Edgeless EDG Tokens On Liqui.io(BLACKJACK BETA LIVE)☘☘☘☘ on: September 28, 2017, 02:54:46 AM
The day of launch his finally come, any news on what time exactly they will start to send the link to start?
I was not able to participate so I am just soliciting information from your guys who were lucky to test the beta.

That's great, did you participate on the first 800 mate?

Yes I did

Great mate, please share your experience here, it matters to us to make a timely decision.
EDG is a great investment but we also have to know what's going on inside, this is what we are waiting and I hope it's a success
so we can proceed to the full launch.
4837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: September 28, 2017, 02:53:02 AM
Personally i think experience matters in gambling. This is applicable for games where you need to have strategy and be able to analyze the items involve in such game, like poker. If you are a newbie in poker it will be a challenge for you to analyze the deck of cards presented to you but as time goes by and the longer that you have been playing, you will be able to develop some techniques in able to win a game. It was accompanied by luck but it also goes along with experience that you have.
Experience is a big help regardless of what you play, when you are having more losing experience you will be more careful
and you know how to control your emotions. Actually what made us lose is when we are too emotional and the worst thing to happen
is when we get addicted.

4839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] WeTrust - For the People, By the People! on: September 28, 2017, 02:29:02 AM
I'm glad updates are rolling in for WeTrust. My longterm hold will not go to waste with their amazing development.
Finally WeTrust is back on track, volume is good and price is back at 10K.
What more will happen it ROSCA will be release, that is something to watch for, it will surely gonna top in trading volume.
4840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: September 21, 2017, 05:19:22 AM
Because bitcoin provides an alternative that allows anyone who uses it to send and receive Bitcoin, without a banking bureaucracy that requires a fee and time. Although bitcoin and fiat need each other, Bitcoin can not stand alone then become the single currency in the world economy. because it still has to be paired with Fiat and traded in the currency pair as in foreign currency trading.

Because bitcoin has no third party, you can use it universally.Transaction occurs instantly, its rate against fiat currencies worldwide fluctuates a lot and the profits could be very dramatic very soon.
If you hold longer you are probably gonna make profit but when you do panic and when there is a bad news or FUD you'll likely
not gonna last. When we aim for bigger profit, we should be strong all the time.
