4821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 05, 2021, 06:09:45 AM
Donnarumma is a very talented goalkeeper. He is 22 years old but he already deserves to be in the starting eleven of whatever team he goes to. I also doubt whether PSG are the right club for him at least for now. Because Keylor Navas' performance is still very high. I don't think that PSG will suddenly cut him off from the starting eleven. Donnarumma might not find the chances he want so quickly.
Donnarumma is indeed a talented Goalkeeper. His performance in the Euro 2020 was impressive. He kept 3 clean sheet in 7 appearance, and conceded only 4 goals. But, with the presence of  Keylor  Navas in PSG, it will be difficult for Donnarumma to participate in many match, because Navas will be keeping in most PSG match. He should have  gone to another club, were he won't be beached.

That's why I think that PSG are not the best team for Donnarumma. I think that he should look for another big team as long as Keylor Navas are the main goalkeeper here. Navas never seems like he will be out-of-form at least for now. In this case, there is literally no way Donnarumma taking his place in the starting eleven. And as long as he just waits in the subs, it will affect his career badly also.

I also wonder whether Donnarumma has some clauses in his contract for a guaranteed number of games or anything like that. Would he really sign a contract with PSG when he could expect to be sitting on the bench for a whole season? I also somehow think that there is something we don't know about yet regarding his contract details. Maybe he is going to play the champions league games? Or the Coup de France?
There only way otherwise would be a very weak Navas or an injury for Navas.
Do these players have this term of guaranteeing a number of games one can have signed up in their contracts? I doubt it , imagine a player gets injured and they are unable to deliver on their part of the agreement  which they signed for,, this would certainly be a breach of contract...but the important thing is to just have Donnarumma have game time to allow him to grow and for Navas to rest instead of being benched all the time .
4822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are athletes also becoming problem gamblers? on: September 04, 2021, 08:47:42 PM
For me if this statement was to be true I would say there is a possibility of match fixing if these games they gamble on included the games they themselves play in otherwise this is up for debate until proven guilty. But looking at the charts i would honestly say these guys do not have any involvement in how government is currently run.
4823  Economy / Services / Re: Anonymous crypto loadable bitcoin debit card - No KYC - Private Card Services on: September 04, 2021, 10:43:11 AM
Seeing this service has survived for over a year am interested in ordering myself a loadable crypto card, but in case I run into one or two problems... is the forum the only way to get in touch with support and how do you guarantee anonymity of a user when sending this card you will have a name and address to which the parcel is to be sent??

And is bitcoin the only coin I can use to load the card?

Can I get a card with a longer shelf life than 1 year?
4824  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-09-04] 70% of Salvadorans opposed to Bitcoin Law as Sep. 7 implementation on: September 04, 2021, 10:31:32 AM
70% of Salvadorans opposed to Bitcoin Law as Sep. 7 implementation draws near

The majority of El Salvadorans are skeptical of the country’s impending Bitcoin Law, with 90% of locals describing their understanding of crypto as poor or non-existent.

With less than a week to go before El Salvador's Bitcoin Law takes effect on Sept. 7, a majority of citizens surveyed are opposed to government-mandated cryptocurrency adoption.

A survey conducted by the local Central American University’s (UCA) Institute of Public Opinion has found that 70% of Salvadorans believe President Nayib Bukele’s Bitcoin Law, recognizing the cryptocurrency as legal tender, should be repealed.

However more than 90% of those surveyed also admitted they have a poor understanding of cryptocurrency.

The institute recorded a dire public approval rating of just 7.64% for the president — the lowest registered during Bukele’s term so far.

El Salvador’s struggling economy

Attitudes to the Bitcoin Law appear intertwined with worries over the country’s poor economic performance.

The poll found that 45% of Salvadoran citizens believe that poverty and unemployment are the two most urgent problems facing the nation, and 43% believe that the nation’s economy will worsen with the passing of the Bitcoin Law.

According to The World Bank, 22.8% of El Salvador’s population are currently living below the poverty line, while the average annual income in the country is just $3,800. More than two-thirds of Salvadorans do not believe the local economy will improve even with an increase to the minimum wage.

The poll also found that 20% of Salvadorans “openly state that they do not know what a Bitcoin is,” while a further 70% confess to having a poor understanding of cryptocurrency.

4826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 04, 2021, 07:51:50 AM
Just in case you missed it, Ronaldo will  be handed back his legendary No. 7 at Manchester United which should be  motivation for him to go with and be in sync with his nickname CR7. But what I don't get is that jersey number was given to cavanni who is still a Manchester United player...maybe out of respect he agreed to give the number up for a double digit #21. Honestly this doesn't sit well for me,, no one player should be bigger than the club ,I feel bad for cavanni for him.

4827  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Twitter seems likely to integrate tipping using Bitcoin. on: September 03, 2021, 11:59:52 PM
Twitter being among one of the preferred platforms by most  influencers this should be a good way to showcase some of bitcoins strengths such as being able to send micro payments (tips) a thing not so popular with fiat and also remove the burden of user verification another stressful process about fiat systems. Honestly this is a win win for bitcoin and crypto just hope if btc is used fees don't jump high like it's counter part Ethereum.
4828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 03, 2021, 11:48:04 PM
It is official Mario Mandzukic announced his retirement. One less player on the free player.
Thought this lad still had more years to go like his counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo....anyway all the best to him in his future endeavors, hope we see him back on the pitch probably as a coach to help build the upcoming crop of players.

This is the list of players without any team who they can join whenever they want outside the transfer market.
I guess these are the guys that get better personal deals and better pay than being taken off a contract of another team, maybe a reason why the transfer market wasn't so busy as they waited for this...
4829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: September 03, 2021, 09:06:32 PM
Quote
Syztmz (Streamer not using Affiliate money) had a heated discussion on his last Stream about him having to compete with his own money, against Affiliate Streamers that are using Casino money. ( I think he lost something like $100 000 on his last 13 hour stream session )
I feel this is a valid point and Syztmz argument holds water, you wagering with your money gives you a non compete chance against the house that's banking more money than the players themselves and based on the probability of the game streamers play longer because of the casino funded accounts which gives them higher chances of winning the jackpots. Btw the casino is the real winner in all this despite sponsoring some streamers to play on their platform but not to be harsh on the streamers its all part of marketing hope twitch finds a win win solution for all.
4830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Afghanistan replace afghan currency with Bitcoin? on: September 03, 2021, 08:38:37 PM
Seeing those queues on television of people actually sleeping outside a bank in hope of getting cash Is really heart breaking because of the serious crisis in that country . As much as we would propose Bitcoin to them I think it's not much of use because cash will still be needed one way of another, tbh what I see happening there is people reverting back to old systems like the barter system as the current money system has failed terribly.
4831  Economy / Gambling / Re: btb88.com Casino & Sportsbook 🔥 BIG GIVEAWAYS 🔥 Licensed & Regulated on: September 03, 2021, 07:56:02 PM
I have being trying out your sportsbooks to familiarize myself with the interface but I think platform still needs some touchs , tried the live betting and it doesn't show current scores which makes it difficult to play...I had to rely on a third party site to know current scores and know what am wagering on.
One last request I would really appreciate if more markets are introduced to make gambling more fun for us as gambling should go beyond win draw away.
4832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce Bitcoin in one sentence on: September 03, 2021, 07:29:59 PM
It all depends with the audience of course  but the old definition like bitcoin is digital gold does it for me as it's self explanatory,  you don't need to explain yourself to questions like does bitcoin have a physical form of being a coin which is an impression it gives to many....the Digital  part of the definition takes care of that.

For others I would introduce bitcoin  to them as it being internet money that is not under the control of a single government but influenced by its users.

4834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: September 03, 2021, 04:18:41 PM
If they don't make any positive contribution both on the playstore and crypto ecosystem, it's a welcome move by Google who doesn't want to abet them for whatever wrong doing.

Btw I have noticed all the banned apps have to do with cloud mining apps are these not just targeting user data because  as far as I know 2021 cloud mining isn't has popular as it was.
4835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: September 03, 2021, 02:06:08 PM
Think of 50,000 has being the equilibrium where buyers and sellers are all matched up but seeing less activity here there is indecision but looks like its slowly going over this price we might say sellers are losing this battle and we might need to look for a new potential area of resistance  maybe $60k or $64 areas where price crushed hard here and this is going to make or break our hearts.
4836  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-09-03] With Coinbase And SAP, Vast Bank Offers Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano on: September 03, 2021, 08:17:27 AM
With Coinbase And SAP, Vast Bank Offers Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano And Litecoin.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Filecoin, Litecoin, Orchid, Algorand and Bitcoin Cash are eight cryptocurrencies now available for purchase directly from a FDIC-insured checking account if you are a customer of Vast Bank, N.A. According to the CEO Brad Scrivner, the bank’s move into offering crypto was approved by the OCC, but also included discussions with the Federal Reserve as well. Vast Bank, N.A. is now the first federally chartered bank in the U.S. to offer the ability to buy, sell, and custody cryptocurrencies - directly from a checking account - all under one roof.

“This is great news for the cryptocurrency community. It has historically been difficult for digital asset companies to even get banking services, much less to have a bank that provides digital asset services. I view this as a step in the right direction, and I suspect that we will see more banking/digital asset ventures in the future,” said Judith Rinearson, Partner at K&L Gates, a legal expert who helps navigate many cryptocurrency clients.

Irina Berkon, CFO at Metallicus, a U.S.-based crypto exchange commented, “The application of blockchain technology has been growing, especially in the financial services arena. Proper, thoughtful and progressive regulation is key to promoting legitimate use cases for digital assets. I am so happy to see the Vast Bank opening its doors to the unbanked population of crypto holders, blockchain development companies, innovators and creators who benefit from strong regulations by a financial institution.”

If more and more countries set a tone of how crypto adoption can be ushered in,I see crypto being given the green light world over... of course it won't be smooth sailing because not everyone understands how the blockchain and bitcoin work and will require more time to digest and understand it.
4837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dream Bitcoin 100k on: September 02, 2021, 09:40:11 PM
We are already halfway through and if price moved from ~ $29k to today's price of $50k that's a gain of 20000 dollars in a few months which makes this very possible to get to $100k in a couple of months, ETA  next year or so....this is going to be a layby and not the final Destination so we better buckle up and prepare for this journey.
4838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 02, 2021, 07:20:53 PM
With all these shortcomings of fiat services thanks to regulators this should be an opportunity for crypto service providers in this sector to come up with crypto cards that will work without boarders to avoid these artificial walls of spending money however we like. But then again this could be done in the best interest of the finance providers as they might be finding it difficult to recover their money's especially like in our times of the pandemic which has seen a drop in the workforce and productivity.
4839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] ETH Gas Prices on: September 02, 2021, 07:12:21 PM
With the countless projects the Ethereum blockchain houses, I really thought the devs had it figured out by now on how best to keep transaction(gas) fees low...I remember crypto kitties also pushed the network which was a hectic experience.

Now we back at it with the high fees because I honestly thought this was history  as Ethereum has had several forks over the years and if I remember it's a few weeks ago a fork was implemented, should be either the London or Berlin fork but why are we experiencing this again.

Ronaldo, yesterday after scoring the two goals that gave Portugal the victory, in the interview said that he was very excited and motivated to have returned home - Man United. He feels very happy and motivated in this new phase of his career.

He will certainly give Man United fans a lot of joy.
His supposedly last dance before he hangs his boots, by the way those two goals Ronaldo scored yesterday made him the player with the most international goals surpassing Iranian legend Ali Daei record which put him in the history books and guinness world records https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/news/2021/9/cristiano-ronaldo-breaks-iconic-record-for-most-goals-scored-in-international-matches this lad is just on some other level, breaking or sorts of records and getting recognized for accolades which never existed, GOAT indeed!
