4821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 11, 2021, 01:51:50 PM
I actually love it the most when the majority of headlines and sentiment is negative. Really hate it when everything is good news and positive vibes;)
We do have that kind of impression on where we do hate up when everybody is really on hype where presumptions and speculations of prices becomes unrealistic because you do really definitely had that kind of feeling on where price would dip down soon and you cant really just avoid not to think that there would lots of people would be wrecked down.

Talking about patterns then it is something that cant really be known because this market could move out pure randomly and even you do hear out some news or events but that one wont really be guaranteeing
that it would really be moving on the way you do expect.

Its a matter or risk taking on where you do see some opportunities then its your choice if you do dive in or not.

I always thought the market was really random in crypto. When the news is pumping good stuff, it doesn't budge, unlike in stocks and forex, which I point out a lot in my early years (I did forex long ago, and the news really moves the markets as you can expect especially if the data comes out different from what analysts expect). But Bitcoin especially doesn't seem to care too much and is still really based on demand from global buyers (or sellers).

Which is why I always feel better when everyone is feeling nervous or negative, this means that the buyers are real and not speculating.

Home advantage after a season of Corona and no crowds, it's going to be a really really tough atmosphere for the Italians.
Well, that's what I took into consideration as well, getting news that said Italian supporters were banned from watching because of the recent spread of Covid-19. Whether it's true or not about the news and whether or not there will be spectators in the final match, I personally feel very confident to bet on England because the squad they currently have looks very good. In contrast to Italy, which I think only relies on a few players to be targets and the speed that Chiesa has, of course it will be of more concern for the English defense.

I do feel it's such a shame that the whole tournament seems to be based on Covid (in terms of spectators) and I felt it was quite strange that England got the exemptions when the news seems to say they're equally affected by further outbreaks, and seems even worse in terms of new infections, but still they got their way and no complaints from anyone. Whoever is professional doesn't care where they play but you can't ignore the boost of home advantage.

If Italy lose I'll be sad, but I guess the bigger story will be England winning for the first time in 55 years! Chiesa another goal, please!
4823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 [Argentina The Champions] on: July 11, 2021, 11:35:24 AM
Can't say enough how happy I am for my man Messi. I don't know about his future anymore at Barca but I expect him to still be there, but it doesn't matter anymore. First Suarez wins the title with Atletico and now Messi his first major title other than Olympics, so I feel like the universe has been kind to my two heroes. I can rest easy now.

Ballon again though? Not sure.
4824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Customer just placed a $1,000,000 USDT bet on England!! on: July 11, 2021, 10:30:31 AM
I rarely take scorer specials but I was really hoping Messi and Neymar would score in the early game (my time) it was 9x payout, neither scored and I should have expected it of course finals are always tight. Makes me think about tonight Italy England it's bound to be super super careful and tight as well right?

I have 4-3-free as Italy win. It's a huge $150 prize for this guys!
4825  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 11, 2021, 09:22:05 AM
Ok, so what? This is the 10th time in the last few weeks it has done so, still a really tight range of trading for me between support at 30k and resistance at 40k. We're eating up the second half of 2021 quite fast already so time is running out to get 100k BTC before end of the year but people who're in the industry are still strong with belief so let's see.
4826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 10, 2021, 06:10:33 PM
To think 30k is the bottom is definitely too easy, for 2021 maybe but we might visit it again next year or the one after!

Expect the unexpected, but some says buy when fear are everywhere, it's not that easy to expect and there's no real formula to calculate what market will bring you in the next following hours/days.

If there's an actual blueprint that even newcomers can  follow money can easily flow around. But reality wise there's none.

or maybe only those big whales who can made statement and impacts who can recognized.  Roll Eyes Wink

I actually agree with that. Buy when everyone is afraid, and don't do anything when everyone's lips are saying good things only. The problem is now, it seems 50/50 on people who are positive and who are fearful.

I actually love it the most when the majority of headlines and sentiment is negative. Really hate it when everything is good news and positive vibes;)

I personally don't care about Colombia's defeat in the group stage, because what I saw was only Colombia against top teams like Uruguay and Argentina. Therefore, I believe Colombia was not only lucky to reach the semi-finals and to be able to fight for third place, because the fight to draw Uruguay and Argentina required a lot of effort so yeah, I don't think it was luck.

Definitely not luck. But they did let themselves down anyway -- drawing to Argentina and Uruguay understandable, but drawing also to Venezuela AND then losing to Peru? That's what I can't forgive them hehe:)

But all good, and the clear favorites won. But they scored after 90th min and had to come from behind so it was close wasn't it?
4829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 10, 2021, 05:38:40 AM
Previously I thought Italy might still be able to win in the final match later, but after I realized the English team that seemed to have a stronger defense and also, I just realized that England now looks stronger in every line. Also, with the full support of playing at home then I think England will really be champions this time around, considering the aging Italian defender who looks likely to be overwhelmed by England's attacks.

Throughout the entire tournament, Italy has impressed but England seems to grow stronger every match. My bet is on Italy so I really need them to win, but I think you're right. Home advantage after a season of Corona and no crowds, it's going to be a really really tough atmosphere for the Italians.

Chiellini can handle Sterling but not Kane I guess.
4830  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Customer just placed a $1,000,000 USDT bet on England!! on: July 10, 2021, 05:02:42 AM
Flamengo and now Sao Paolo, well done guys! I think it's a small pity Watford no longer with sportsbet, but so proud that you guys stuck with them in Championship, I guess, you can't have 3 teams in EPL all to yourself, right?Wink

Saints and Gunners, I feel like one of them is going to surprise us, and then Flamengo and Sao Paolo, doesn't get bigger than these two teams!
4831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 09, 2021, 05:03:18 PM
Lots of love for our Asian games yesterday, to be honest I'm sometimes guilty I don't even know these teams when some do come from my own area but sometimes my excuse is that it is hard to be excited by local leagues here.

Colombia Peru, nice match, not really know much about them but if they get 21, I will promise to follow these teams more!

4832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After China, Now it's Mexico's Turn to Ban Crypto on: July 09, 2021, 04:09:38 PM
the more FUD circulating in my opinion this becomes a test for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, look at the incident when last 2018, many coin prices collapsed, of course that happened because of the large number of FUDs circulating like this and a few months later the price soared again so in my opinion Moments like this should be used wisely.

Bitcoin has always proven itself in the most dire of moments. Let us remember about Mt Gox and then about the civil war supposedly going to destroy Bitcoin in 2017.

What happened next in both those times is not merely Bitcoin surviving, but pushing up stronger to new heights and not looking back.

This is what's so scary about Bitcoin, it LOVES FUD.
4833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: July 09, 2021, 02:41:56 PM
Some projects are very easy to identify because they tend to have the same name and even copy some whitepapers from previous projects, the stupidity of scammers for not having knowledge of blockchain and trying their luck creating 2 almost identical projects. Thread Scam Accusations will help make it easier for you to avoid scam projects.

Nah, the biggest scams are the ones that actually put some effort into their whitepapers, pay expensive shillers (sorry, I mean influencers) to pretend they're so excited about it, and then even hire a team to talk and do stuff. All this with no intention whatsoever to put out a real project. If no raise, they say they don't have funds. Nice excuse.

The way forward is to make these projects pay and just not give them any of our crypto.
4834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Overview of the Market on: July 09, 2021, 02:06:12 PM
Technically speaking, Bitcoin is in down trend. Technically only. Because chart can be manipulated and down trend is a preparation for future uptrend.
Charts are only 50-50 correct/incorrect. The real movements will only be seen when the time comes and not before that, otherwise every analyst would have been a millionaire. A deep downtrend can drive the market even lower so we cant comment absolutely but relatively only.

And they are only as correct or incorrect as the guy who builds them. The problem people forget about charts is that most people build them to prove what they think they want to see, not the other way around of building a chart and then studying it for clues about what should happen next.

And these are clues at the most, not even firm signals.
4835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 09, 2021, 12:42:22 PM
I’ve been in crypto since 2014 and pretty much lived thru 2 bear markets and let me tell you how you can spot the bottom? The bottom will be when you least expect it.

Many expected the bottom in 2018 to be $6K and they were dead wrong. The bottom was $3K when people were calling for $1K Bitcoin.

In 2015 it was even worst because the market had almost no activity back then. Hardly moved. Then one day Bitfinex breaks the $200 support goes to like $175 and that’s when people throw in the towel and it’s the lowest price I’ve ever seen.

So the low will be when you least expect it . It won’t be $30K or even $20K. That would be too easy.

I kind of agree with you here. It's the same for both bottom and top. Would you ever expect a bottom to happen 6 months before a bull run? Cause that's what happened to Bitcoin last year, plus ETH almost too, and LTC and all the others had the same.

To think 30k is the bottom is definitely too easy, for 2021 maybe but we might visit it again next year or the one after!
4836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2021, 12:01:27 PM
Do you mean to score three goals to Brazil or get three goals from Brazil? I think the latter is more likely, I can imagine a scenario where Argentina concedes first and then opens and Brazil scores a lot of goals, but I cannot imagine such scenario in Argentina's favor. At the moment, Brazil looks stronger and has more rest before the final.

I mean to score 3 goals, doesn't matter to which country, I just want something entertaining. It'd be really cool to see Messi get in on all 3 goals but Argentina's defence will leak to Brazil, that is a fact. The worst possible final is that everyone plays to penalties, now that I would not be happy about. But the winners won't care;)
4837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 09, 2021, 10:38:45 AM
I don't know where it's started that these theories have circulated on the web and putting fear on those curious folks that have also searched for the same conspricies. Well, you get a vaccine and you get a chance with the lottery only if you're in Poland and other countries that have this promo.  Grin

Honestly, not very much different from all the crypto conspiracy theories being pushed around. Yes, this is a trial drug for the most, yes, there isn't enough clinical trial, yes, a lot of stuff but also yes, survival rates are higher if you have the vaccine and this disease is bad enough that we should take the risk to ourselves, to protect others.

Anyway, let's see who wins the Poland lottery then.
4838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the next economic crisis in the world instead cause financial inflows into on: July 09, 2021, 10:06:48 AM
I don't actually think so, or it'll be possible only in countries with a viable economy pre-pandemic, I think for countries that were already experiencing inflation and hyperinflation, coupled with a struggling economic situation, the pandemic only made their case worse and they would not be getting out of this mess anytime soon, for countries like the U.S or China, they would experience inflation no doubt, but I expect measures to be put in place to curtail it sooner rather than later, but the same can't be said of some developing and underdeveloped countries.

Which should negate most of the world's economies (which is why the majority of developing economies chose to ignore it because if they had just stopped imagine how bad their systems would crash).

It's unbelievable to see mega corporations and MNCs just go bankrupt after one month of not producing or working. Imagine how much more worse for poorer economies with less resilient structures?
4839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 09, 2021, 08:50:29 AM
Didn't watch it either, all the games are just way too late for me (so kind of frustrating for all these internationals halfway round the globe!).

Here in India, matches are scheduled at 12:30 am - 2:30 am. I watched the first semi-final between Spain and Italy, but then it was impossible to watch the second one between England and Denmark, since it happened the very next day. My office work starts at 9am, so I need to get up by around 7:30am-8:00 am, which is not possible if I watch these matches. Now they have scheduled the next match on Sunday, which is again a very poor decision. Ideally they should have scheduled it on Saturday.

These are the normal times for all matches.
The same happens when the games are outside Europe, the times are the same in the country where the games take place.

The final is usually on Sunday, because normally in these international competitions there is a third and fourth place game, which takes place on Saturday. It's true that at the European Football Championship this game doesn't exist. But keep the same standard calendar.

It is a bit better for you guys then. I am currently 7 hours ahead of UK time:) it sometimes gets to 8 when daylight changes (I'm not sure when that is). So imagine a 8pm game which is what most of the games started for EURO, it is 4am for me. I can still try to stay up (or wake up early) but the effects on my work the next day are very very evident  Tongue
4840  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Customer just placed a $1,000,000 USDT bet on England!! on: July 09, 2021, 08:02:07 AM
Not going to even try to imagine how I'd feel winning a 700k from a single bet on 1 million, although I suppose if I were already at a level to make those bets I would be NOT making life difficult for myself wondering what to do with all that money. Crazy bet, and I think all the books are happy with so many draws in EURO after the group stages:)
