10 minutes to go for the start of the game between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. I am not sure whether the matches will be shown in India or not (I heard that it will be covered by DSPORT). There are a few players whom I am waiting for, such as Jason Roy, Ben Cutting and Colin Munro. Would be interesting to watch the crowd response as well.

Even if no channel in India shows the PSL, You can watch HBL PSL 2020 Live - Quetta Gladiators vs Islamabad United - Match 1 - 20 Feb Live. You wont be disappointed to see the electric atmosphere.  Smiley

There is coverage in India. I am watching the match in DSPORT. So far, an excellent first innings from Islamabad United and they made a total of 168, thanks to an electrifying 64 from Dawid Malan. For the Quetta Gladiators Mohammad Hasnain and Ben Cutting bowled well, picking 7 wickets between them. But the other bowlers (especially Fawad Ahmed) were expensive.

The cryptocurrency space is full of manipulations, sometimes the prediction by analyst really don't come true, so it is better for one to study the movement  of the chart and price movement  before investing in any project and so be responsible  for his or her loss, also it is important  to invest what one can bear to loss.

There are more than 10,000 active projects right now to chose from and therefore I would ask what is the necessity to invest in a new project. I don't have anything against investing in these new ones, but the vast majority of them have failed in the recent months. If you ask me, it is not worth taking that much risk under current circumstances.

For Kiwis - Seam bowler Wagner is not part of the first Test.

This is a big blow for New Zealand, because Wagner had performed exceptionally well against both England and Australia. He was the backbone of Kiwi pace attack for sometime, along with Boult. The absence of Wagner is going to have a big impact on their chances, as Indians are comfortable against the other bowlers such as Matt Henry and Boult.

Exactly, if the government of Afganistan's government can provide security cover like the Pakistan government then I am sure the cricket playing nation can think about playing there. This is only possible with the support of both India and Pakistan.

The security situation in Afghanistan has become better recently. For the past many years, the country hasn't witnessed any major terrorist events. In case a country such as India or Pakistan visits Afghanistan, then I am sure that the board will arrange the best security possible. Afghanistan is a test country now and the fans deserve at least 1-2 matches per year.
4826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 will bring big changes? on: February 19, 2020, 07:14:24 PM
Even without ETH 2.0, Ethereum is a less secure cryptocurrency when compared to the other coins. And I still remember Vitalik Buterin saying that he will approve the roll-out of ETH 2.0, even if some of the security features are weakened. For me, it looks as if they are in a hurry. And this is something that they should never do with cryptocurrency.
In a hurry?  ETH 2.0 was promised to be implemented on January 2017

Yes.. the implementation was supposed to happen many years ago. The developers could not complete their tasks on time, and on top of that new security issues and vulnerabilities were found. As a result, this deadline was extended many times. And even now, Vitalik is saying that we can expect a lot of bugs and security failures. My opinion is that they should go ahead with it only when they are 100% confident about ETH 2.0.

I think they will have two pacer and two spinner for the first test. Spinners are very effective in test cricket and Newzealand batsmen are not good with spin balling. Though I am not sure who they will select for the first match.

IMO, they will go with 3 pacers and one spinner (plus Ravindra Jadeja, the spin-bowling all rounder). Going with two full-time spinners in addition to Jadeja sounds too much for me. Kiwi batsmen are not very comfortable against the spinners, but then we can't expect spin-friendly surfaces in New Zealand. So 3+1+1 would be a good combination as far as I am concerned.
4828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH, BSV more profitable than Ethereum? on: February 19, 2020, 02:26:28 PM
Cryptocurrency users should understand that the only reason why BCH/BSV prices are going up is due to the ongoing court battle involving Craig Wright. And worryingly, Wright hasn't yet proved that he controls any of Satoshi's wallets. He had several opportunities and he failed every time. Sooner or later, he will be proved as a scammer and BSV will become worthless. Even BCH may get affected as a result.

What you are thinking about PSL it is going to be start February 20 onwards in Pakistan. How pakistan can they gives security for foreign players? and Pakistan peoples are going give good responses to PSL? Please share your thoughts here.

Last time when Bangladesh visited Pakistan they closed the whole area near the stadium. A group of intelligence and security officials was accompanying the Bangladesh team. They provided the security of the highest level as if the head of any country was traveling.

They are trying there level best. I am sure they will do the same this time also. PSL is popular in Pakistan but it still needs more exposure for other cricketing countries to follow.

Franchise T20 leagues have emerged as the main revenue generators for various cricket boards around the world, including the BCCI, ECB and CA. The PCB has yet to fully capitalize on the PSL, since the previous editions were being conducted in the United Arab Emirates. This time, hopefully they will be able to generate more revenue as it is being played within Pakistan.
4830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: February 19, 2020, 02:01:34 PM
With so many exchanges in operation, it is really difficult to manipulate the exchange rates now. However, there are smaller coins and tokens, which are being traded in just one or two small exchanges. And in this case, it is possible to manipulate the order book (either through legal means or through illegal methods). One example that comes to my mind right now is that of IOUX.
4831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 19, 2020, 01:55:05 PM
@Vishnu.Reang this is really joke for me as India going to tour Afghanistan because its not going to happen in next 10 years its more worst then Pakistan recently we watch few developments but these are not enough as any one can tour their for Afghanistan now India and UAE both homes as they can use them for long time.

The situation in Afghanistan have definitely improved, and foreign players had previously participated in their franchise T20 league. If test nations can tour Pakistan, then I don't think that Afghanistan should be left behind. Why the Afghan fans should be denied the opportunity of watching their national team play against the test nations?

@ JSRAW, mersal & 7788bitcoin, thanks for the replies. I feel bad when they ban good players. Steve Smith is such a legendary player and we missed him for a full 12 month period. Shakib Al Hasan is another player who got banned recently. No one benefits from such bans.

Anyway... I don't want to divert the topic. Not many ODIs scheduled for this week and I guess most of the users will be busy with the PSL (which starts tomorrow with the first match to be played between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators).
4834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: February 19, 2020, 01:34:19 PM
i think binance will not be the king of all coins, but to be the king of exchanges coin it could happen. and maybe its already happen today, binance coin price most expensive if compared to another exchange coin. and day by day it able to compete with another coin that already survive for long time ago such as eth or many other. holding binance will give us high possibility to earn profit in future. i am hope bnb price could reach arounf $100.

Well.. I would agree with you on this. I don't think that BNB will be able to overtake established coins such as Ethereum or Litecoin. But at the same time, I am not going to deny the fact that Binance is the king of the cryptocurrency exchanges. So obviously, BNB can be described as the king of exchange coins. But they have a long way to go, before they become one of the top 5 alts.

Binance is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It has issued a total of 197,192,382 BNB and 99,014,000 of them are currently in circulation. This cryptocurrency may be used to pay fees on the exchange itself. In fact, BNB holders may get a discount if they pay fees in BNB rather than BTC. Price of one Binance Coin is currently at 24.12$ i hope in future  many more .

If you make posts such as this one... then you will remain as a newbie forever.

To be honest, it is difficult to predict which type of surfaces will be prepared by the New Zealand curators. But given the strength of the Indian batting lineup, it will be suicidal for them to prepare surfaces that support the batsmen. The problem here is that the Indian bowlers such as Sharma and Shami are experts in picking up wickets in flat surfaces, while the New Zealand bowlers lack that capability.
A few days to go to see whether they will come up with a flat wicket or a green pitch, i am expecting them to come up with a pitch retaining small grass that could help anyone bowling first but i do not see the pitch deteriorating in the final two days, interesting to see whether India will include a spinner or they will go all out fast bowling line up as they have the potent bowlers.

Considering that New Zealand batsmen are vulnerable to spin bowling, I would expect the Indians to include at least one spinner (in addition to Jadeja). They have very good pace bowlers such as Shami and Sharma, but at home the New Zealand batsmen will be more comfortable against the pace and seam movement of the Indian bowlers. I would go for a mix of pace and spin rather than an all pace attack.
4836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 18, 2020, 04:08:01 PM
It only takes one of the big teams to tour Pakistan and the other big teams may follow. Now that South Africa has agreed to tour Pakistan, I think its only a matter of time before we see Australia, England and New Zealand tour Pakistan. Seeing India tour Pakistan is a dream as I can't see this happening anytime soon but we can hope it happens one day.

Political climate is not conductive for an Indian tour of Pakistan. However, I would love to watch the Indian team touring Afghanistan. Till now, none of the test playing nations have toured that country. But the security situation is getting normalized and I hope Indians will agree to tour their neighbors. Afghanistan is regarded as one of the allies of India and therefore the chances are brighter.
4837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: February 18, 2020, 03:59:14 PM
I am perplexed by the recent rise in the exchange rates of Ethereum. First of all, no major news has come out from the developers. And secondly, I am yet to witness any resurrection in the ICO market (on the other hand, with every passing day the ICOs seems to be moving one step closer to the ultimate death). And in the past when Ether had such unexplained spikes, it wasn't sustainable for long.

^^^^^ The "so called ball tampering" was not noticed by the umpires. It was the South African ex-player Fanie De Villiers who first noticed it and went ballistic during the live coverage.

I never said that what they did was the right thing. My only complaint was about the quantum of punishment. I felt that it was excessive and was influenced by the South African media's witch hunt against Smith and Warner.

I had pointed out one very important thing in the past. Many of the legendary pace bowlers had previously admitted that they used to tamper the original condition of the ball, using Vaseline, sweat, towels.etc. The so called "banana swing" was achieved by roughening one side of the ball by erasing it with a rough towel and then applying sweat or saliva on it (thereby increasing the weight of that half).

This has been going on for many decades and very few of the bowlers got punished for that. Smith and Warner went a step further and used sand paper (instead of towel). But the ICC laws don't differentiate between a towel and sand paper.

My questions are:

1. Why players using sand paper are banned, while those using towels are not punished at all?
2. Why three Australian batsmen were banned for ball tampering, when they didn't bowled a single ball during the entire innings? Are you saying that these three players are more guilty when compared to the bowlers who delivered those balls?
4839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 18, 2020, 03:44:54 PM
This reminds me of many analyzes that XRP will rally at the end of 2019 but that did not happen, 2019 is a bad year for XRP. For me, XRP is a bad choice to invest in right now.

Ripple was always a bad choice for investment. XRP is as close as you can get to central bank controlled fiat currency within the cryptocurrency market. They are claiming that they have entered in to partnerships with some of the largest banks in the world, to track and streamline wire transfers. But despite all this, the user-base remains very small, when compared to other coins such as LTC and BCH.
4840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 18, 2020, 03:32:02 PM
^^ If we see last tour of England in New Zealand then kiwis prepared the lousy wicket. both team scored good amount of runs, if that's the case against India then its safe to say it can turn out to be dead series. I hope they keep grass on wicket no matter if both games goes to low scoring chase.

To be honest, it is difficult to predict which type of surfaces will be prepared by the New Zealand curators. But given the strength of the Indian batting lineup, it will be suicidal for them to prepare surfaces that support the batsmen.
