We had planned to do this from the beginning but it is too easy to copy another player's wagers in that case. We are updating the rankings now after the round of 16 has now been reduced to the round of 8. If a player sees an error in their score, please message us so that we can update the rankings accordingly. Thank you. I was right. Someone from Facebook or Twitter will win, also known as a Betcoinsports employee, that picks all winners after the games are over. The only problem with that statement is the players on Facebook and Twitter have all posted their picks prior to the games. Their profiles are public and you can message them directly anytime. It has been the players on BitcoinTalk through forums and pm's that have complained about posting picks prior to the games, which we certainly understand. BetcoinSports.com employees are not permitted to play in our contests. Also, why didn't you enter the contest? With the time you have spent reading through and commenting on the thread you could have won some good btc! |

To clarify, in soccer wagering for most moneyline wagers if a team does not win the match prior to overtime or a penalty shootout, the wager is graded as a loss even if they won the game. This means that participants that selected Brazil to win their first round of 16 match, lost the wager because it went to penalty kicks even though they still won the game. Points are awarded to players who selected moneyline wagers on the team that won the game, even though they may have lost the wager. We will have an updated rankings soon.
This rule only applies to the knockout round, runner up match and championship match which is all games from 6/28/14 to the Championship game.

Is there any chance to convert tour ney money won from promos into chips?
The only way to convert tourney money won from promos into chips is to win tournaments at this point. We are planning a massive update for this week, however and we will keep you posted. |

I got an email that said I had a free entry to a 100GTD Knockout. The email says it's one-time use, but does that count if the tournament doesn't end up running?
Also, I just played the Sun 1BTC and after busting and re-entering it showed me as "inactive" the rest of the tournament. I was still able to play, it just looked like I was sitting out and hid my stack size. Not sure if that can be fixed but just wanted to report the bug.
With regard to the tournament, yes it is a one time use and will not be available if the tournament does not run. Also, we are looking into the bug that you experienced and will have it resolved. We have an enormous update planned for this week and we will keep you posted. |

i am quite shocked that these are the parameters to enter your thank you freeroll:
Deposit at least 100 or more chips for the week
Come out as with a chip loss for the week in ring games
Sign up as a new user from select affiliates
what about people who only play tournaments or have no need to deposit because they are net winners? I mean now that I know how to get my ticket in the future I won't ever miss the opportunity but it seems pretty petty and arbitrary and people who place the leaderboards don't even get a ticket. You reward those who lose more than win for cash games which is actually quite awesome but given that winning players can easily make the 100 chip deposit anyway seems counterproductive to your goals if that is the goal. Just my 2c.
We actually haven't finalized our plans for the thank you freeroll, but we do have some very big updates coming this week that will benefit everyone. We are very excited about these updates. To address your comments, however depositing players are what enables poker rooms to have tournaments, ring games, sng's and a website, without them there would be no tournaments for you to play in. Most people who play in our tournaments are depositing players and again, we have not finalized our plans for this freeroll yet as it is probably going to be something totally different after we complete this update scheduled for this week. For the knockout round, you simply have to pick the team that wins the game and place a money line wager on that team to earn the points. The wager may not win because of soccer overtime and penalty kick rules but the winning team will earn you the points.

Can Betcoin.AG explain me if this is another "trick" that I don't know of, because AFAIK that game resulted in a Draw? (I also had Brazil though btw ) To clarify this for the competition, all you have to do is pick a winning team and bet on a winning team. Regardless of whether you win the bet or not, if you pick the team that wins the game, you earn the points. IF YOU SELECTED BRAZIL TO WIN THE GAME, YOU EARNED THE POINTS.
