...but it is too late for a title fight and they can concentrate on next season now
Too late, the red half of Merseyside have the title already, but City can continue this way and still finish on a high note, they can prolly go unbeaten from now till the end of the season (beating Liverpool as well Grin) finish second and go into next season in high spirits. That being said, they still have the Fa cup and UCL to compete for, so there's still a possibility of a treble again this season, so they cityzens might still have a season to celebrate.

Liverpool have made a £54m bid for Kalidou Koulibaly.
Gomez, Matip, Lovren and Virgil, I don't know how many teams in Europe have players as good as them as center backs. Koulibali is also one of the best defenders in the world right now and will improve Liverpool's defense, but imo Liverpool do not have to spend money on a center back so soon again after buying Van djik, as we all know Napoli won't accept £54m.

I cannot find the article again, but I read somewhere that City and pep are also interested in buying Koulibali, they are prolly the team for me in real need of his services. John stones may probably leave at the end of this season, so Koulibali and Laporte will be a dream partnership for City in defense.
4843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oikos a scam project or what??? on: June 22, 2020, 09:58:19 AM
...the project raised fund successfully on Hoo exchange and they extend the bounty campaign for another 8 weeks after extended for extra 4 weeks before, what is going on? Is the team planning to steal investors money?
This is prolly the reason why the Oikos project extended the bounty campaign. (they want more money) I'd preempt you to expect the worst, they may also extend the bounty campaign even after this eight weeks, many other bounties have done things like this before and AFAIK, many of them didn't list in the end, Oikos could also end that way.

Oikos project is probably thinking of making all the money they can now, they may be uncertain of the projects future when it lists, that being said, they may also not have any plans to further develop the project on its use case when listed (It'll then dump) I am not certain this are their plans and imo you can't make any accusations yet, but extending the bounty campaign twice (four weeks...then eight weeks) after successfully generating funds, could be a red flag for investors and bounty hunters of this project.

...but i feel like watching Celta - Alaves in about 30min. It's a must win for Celta, 3pts today means being 4 points clear of 18th place Mallorca...i'm gonna back them with a side bet: Celta to WIN @1.92.
It's only half time and your bet is already safe in the bag, Celta lead Alaves 4-0 at the break, and I'm sure Alaves would wish the game could end right now. Another red card today for Alaves, last time out against Espanyol it was their goalkeeper, today it's for Aguierregabiria for a reckless challenge on Rafinha, two beautiful goals by him (Rafinha) after that by the way. Grin

Alaves would only come into the second half to prevent Celta from scoring more, this game will prolly end either 5-0 or 4-1, this is going to be a big win for Celta as they fight to stay in Laliga next season.
4845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: June 21, 2020, 09:16:52 AM
Many people are saying that binance ranked was manipulated because they now acquired coinmarketcap, they are now rated 1st on coinmarketcap...
I wasn't expecting CMC to rank another exchange, if not its owner Binance as number one, it could have been manipulated or just as a result of their proclivity to their own exchange Binance, or they may be deservedly 1st.

If a shady exchange (Yobit for example) had bought CMC and listed themselves as number one, then the manipulation will be obvious and people will distrusts their rating and may stop using CMC, but since it's Binance and even if anyone thinks they should not top the list, whichever way you look at it, they rank in the best three, so it doesn't really cause any problems imo.
4846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 21, 2020, 07:11:33 AM
The whole arsenal team are a joke..they lack motivation, No leadership..Arteta always looks sleepy on the sidelines Face with tears of joy it’ll be a pity leaving his job at City just to get sacked at Arsenal, the team spirit is not there, no zeal about winning the match, slow game, wrong substitution from coach everything seems not to be going right for Arsenal right now,
I can't question Mikel Arteta's decision to leave Man city to become coach of Arsenal, it's not like he was the head coach at City, he was just an assistant to Pep Guardiola, and even when pep leaves the Etihad, the club may have other options to buy as head coach and not promoting Arteta to number one position. It was a good move for his career.

Arteta is not under any pressure of being sacked this season. He'll just see out this season and wherever Arsenal find themselves at the end, cannot cost him his job. Next season is when he'll be under pressure to deliver, by then he must have tabled his demands to the Arsenal board (it should be an overhaul of this Arsenal team) and if they are met, the pressure then shifts to him to perform.
4847  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 20, 2020, 02:03:50 PM
Logical Reason why ww3 is coming : People going to be hungry very very soon (famine) ... if you ever been hungry you will understand
No country is recording any case of famine due to the pandemic, people may have lost their jobs, and the economy in a bad shape but there's no famine threatening the lives of people, even in the underdeveloped of countries. The virus has lasted only for about five months or so, and even if an entire country is locked down, five months is short for a famine to surface.
To feed the people govs need resources, how do you get resources ? You find a excuse to attack your rich neighbor or another country rich in resources
Or you try to destroy your competition ( Example: China - India
A war comes with destruction, annihilation, and even the famine you talk about, that exactly was the case in 1914 and 1945. It can't be a means of generating funds/resources to boost the economy and feed the nation. Government will open more businesses, create more opportunities, give out stimulus/loans etc to get more resources to start up the economy, but attacking another country is not an option, and it cannot have any positive outcome if not causing more mayhem for the two countries.
4848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 20, 2020, 12:36:51 PM
I think Brighton is the type of team that suits Arsenal's game plan and I think they will win today.
Brighton are only two points away from the relegation zone, they have to win today, but against an Arsenal team coming today after losing poorly to City in their last match. I don't see any chance for Brighton to get any point from this match.
With Lecister having more pocession, if they maintain it in the second half, they are likely to win the game.
Imo Watford finished the half the stronger side, with Doucoure coming very close to scoring, stopped by a very good save from schmeichel in goal for Leicester. The second half just started and I'm predicting no goals in this game (0-0) Grin

I think he wants guaranteed starts & Guardiola used as a substitute a lot, even before this season when he’s been recovering from injury. A move back to the Bundesliga would make sense, I’ve seen stories about Bayern being interested.
Guardiola does not guarantee players starting spot in his teams, only one or two players get that privilege, in city, Sterling is one and maybe Larpote when fit. Even Aguero has had to sit on the bench while Gabriel starts ahead of him, that's what's expected of a team packed with the talents city have.

I wish Sane luck anywhere he goes, Bayern definitely, but imo he should have stayed and worked his way back into the team. Mahrez is playing more regularly this days, but I think with Sane fit, it could be different. Maybe city's UCL ban is actually the real reason Leroy leaves the Etihad at the end of this season. Huh
4851  Other / Meta / Re: The fourm accepts GRIN... why? on: June 19, 2020, 08:58:22 PM

The forum still accepts/supports Grin, that can only mean Grin is not a dead coin and doing just fine.
4852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of altcoins? Don't you think who has too much for nothing? on: June 19, 2020, 07:05:21 PM
There is no barrier here to stop the people from creating their new coins or create their token on existing blockchain so they come up with new ideas everyday but we don't have investors to invest on every projects that is why there is no more legit project here.
People create or come up with new coins, but not new ideas, there is a lucid unalikeness between creating a new coin and creating a new coin with a new idea, or a new use case. People just reincarnate old use cases that haven't worked before into new coins to scam investors or just to produce coins that is useless to the network.
I think ERC 20 have good usage. Surely not all, but some like MANA, Enjin, KNC, BNB etc. have given good profits and at the same time helped in crypto adoption.
This coins can give profits in the short period, if you sell when they are pumped, but they haven't helped in crypto adoption, Ethereum imo remains the only alt to have helped promote cryptocurrency adoption.
4853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 19, 2020, 04:35:02 PM
Does everyone think that M'Gladbach will win today? Paderborn is relegated and they can play free. No more pressure. This can be an advantage for Paderborn.
Imo being relegated doesn't give Paderborn any advantage against Mochengladbach tomorrow (not today) they have been relegated with two matches left and have only won four matches all season, they have had a very poor season to forget and Mochengladbach would ease through this one.

It's Gladbach that comes into the match with motivation and something to play for, if they win they go ahead of Leverkusen into fourth place and hope Hertha beats or holds Leverkusen to a draw, a strong finish to this campaign could see Gladbach end fourth.
4854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your main goal... ? on: June 19, 2020, 11:35:52 AM
If people added up how much time they waste earning a pittance with faucets etc vs devoting the same amount of time to a normal job and buying coins with what they earn they'd figure out they would end up with a whole lot more.
The four letter word 'free' is what confuses people imo, faucets and airdrops for example have the word free in their definition and what it means to a lot of people is earning without doing anything or without doing much and the human nature relishes that.

But it's an illusion, when you start engaging in the so called 'free markets' to earn, you spend more time, not less, doing things that will earn little or nothing, those free means ironically saps out every bit of your time. People do not know that if that time is poured into better options (that will seem more difficult to them than easy stuff) in the long run you'll start spending little time in it and earning far much more.

Everyone I have been waiting for this night for so long. You Arsenal City and even Villa and Sheffield fans all got your fill but tonight I can finally see my team back in action, cannot wait for them to beat United in style (hopefully hehe),,, but anyway whatever. Kane is back. Son is back. Everyone is back!
Everyone is back for spurs except Dele Ali, he'll not be playing in todays game, not because of an injury but serving a one match ban (he was on the scoresheet in the first leg). United are also welcoming Pogba and Rashford back, so Solskjaer and Mou have all their players fit for them to select from. They cannot start all at the same time, but having a full squad plus five substitutions to make in 90 minutes will please the two managers (Mou and Solskjaer).

BTTS looks like a good bet in this game with all the great attacking players on both sides (Kane, Rashford, Martial, Son etc) but the both teams have played very tight games in the past with very few goals (both teams not scoring) so I'll predict a spurs victory (1-0) and maybe Mourinho can get revenge for the first leg defeat to United and Solskjaer.
4856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 17, 2020, 10:02:10 PM
I get it when there's failure we always look for someone to put the blame on. Luis played badly no doubt but arsenal as a team where just poor and couldn't match city's determination to win the game. City miss many chances and could have easily scored more goals than the number they scored in the first half.
A players action can destroy a teams performance, Luiz made two costly errors today and one of them got him sent off, leaving city with a penalty they converted, two goals/one man down against City is death sentence, and Luiz played 90% part in that. Criticisms is part of the game, players are also praised when they perform excellently, Luiz was totally a mess for Arsenal tonight.

After this game, I think he has sealed his fate in the team, he'll surely leave Arsenal at the end of the season, Arteta needs to change quite a lot in this Arsenal team to bring success to the Emirates.
4857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or trade in altcoins listed by voting vs. independent on: June 17, 2020, 08:51:42 PM
Community voting can help you to choose altcoins to trade with, I participate in this polls, especially the Binance community vote and imo the community picks the coins in the best shape to succeed to get listed.

The coins may dump after being listed, but it doesn't change the fact that the community saw potentials in the coin before voting it to be listed on the exchange ( it could also not be the end of the coin) and since altcoins dump rapidly whether they got listed through community vote nor not, I'd not count it as a disadvantage to this method of listing. If you'll go with community votes to choose coins, still DYOR to be sure.
4858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE NEXT ETH?? on: June 17, 2020, 07:50:40 PM
Ethereum is the most successful altcoins in modern times, it may not be bad for new coins or ico projects to learn from Ethereum's success. It is not possible for this new coins to copy or replicate ethereum's use cases and that's where the creators of the coins must apply their originality in creating a coin with a use case that will not be useless to the altcoin network.

No coin can be another eth, another bitcoin or another coin other than what it is, if shills call their coins the next eth or btc, would investors not invest in eth or bitcoin than waiting for their coin to overtake or become the new model.

Pep vs Arteta, (City Vs Arsenal) the former Manchester City assistant coach returns to the Etihad and the city boss is obviously looking forward to this encounter, Pep has said in his press conference that Arteta knows so much about the city team. Could there be an advantage for Arsenal tomorrow, because of Arteta's knowledge of how city plays, the tactics and balance of the team etc? He'll know all that after working as peps assistant for three seasons.

Question remains that will Barcelona let him go to Liverpool with value below the amount they paid for him earlier. With the financial things they are going on I highly doubt so.
Coutinho's value has dropped significantly, and Barcelona must come to terms with that reality. When selling a player, it's his current form and value that matters, not how much the club bought him. For example if Liverpool are to sell Robertson to any team, we'll be talking about something close to 50m, a player they bought for 8m, his performances have been brilliant and no one can say the same about Coutinho since leaving Liverpool. If Barca do not intend to loan him out again or keep him, they must also be ready to accept a fee far lower that the initial 105m they paid for him.
Last season they let Nkunku and Diaby go, both very talented young players. I don't really understand all the time what PSG is doing on the transfer market.
PSG are prolly only interested in buying the best players, not making them at the moment, they want immediate success and they've got money to throw around Grin.
