How much are you actually selling those for? Four sold @$400?
I have seen 1080tis going for $300 on ebay ever since the 3000rtx series came out.
Don't get me wrong, they are good hashing cards.

^^
He probably doesn't have a referral and it goes directly to the owner's account as a referral bonus. Cheesy
But didn't know a diamond level 5 even existed and it is the last level to achieve. Shocked
Nice one and he started at the same time I did on the platform so big ups to him. I am only at platinum 1 and just over 60% done to the next level. So know very well how tough it is to get up there on above levels once you reach each tier.

Looks like they have included something this black friday for their lambo giveaway. Earn double the amount of tickets from now until november 30th.
And after reading about the new promotion rules:
No one from the stake.com team including employees are allowed to win the prize of the giveaway.
So that includes MICRO, Stunna and of course the owner Eddie. Wink
I was wondering why during the megarace's livestreams he mentioned he will reroll if one of his tickets does get the win of the lambo. But don't know what will happen if he gets one of the $1000 prizes. Undecided
And it also says: The amount of bitcoin will be given for the prize of the lambo now.
https://promotions.stake.com/lambo-50k-giveaway/

So I guess their casino licensor made them change the terms of the giveaway to be able to keep within their guidelines. Embarrassed

I think those who shorted are quite happy waking up this morning to see theirs got bought up.
Now you know it being black friday and this time fortnite BTC price will pump.
So why not go long for some sweet turkey-time gains? Grin
4844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2020, 02:11:38 PM
So, ATH soon is a given IMHO, then what ? Stay up there, go significantly higher ? Then what ? Do you think a pullback to 4 digits USD is possible ? Asking for a friend.
4 digits is no longer possible.  That time has passed.

That does feel like a knife in vegeta's back.
Back down to $17k

Always when we get so close to ATH it drops down 3x as much from before.
A dark cloud is upon BTC price action.

Just like vegeta's tears in the rain. Cry

We need a another hero! Grin

Pick your new hero meme for the bitcoin revolt. Wink

Are we about to get seriously f-ed?

Last week we heard rumors that the U.S. Treasury and Secretary Mnuchin were planning to rush out some new regulation regarding self-hosted crypto wallets before the end of his term. I'm concerned that this would have unintended side effects, and wanted to share those concerns.
So trumpster is shooting down anything he can before his last exit out of the white house.

So in essence firing and pardoning his cronies is not enough now he has to make sure bitcoin: the anti-corporate currency, does not make it pass stocks and gold on his last day in office? Tongue

This is the first time I've seen a big win at the  Sweet Bonanza of course with a low stake
https://twitter.com/Stake/status/1331069683068530689
This is why the trophy feature we added for all the games is really neat

It is kinda neat to see the bet amounts they used to get those big wins.
The trophy icons are a nice touch to the leaderboards. Wink

And never tried the buy feature from these new casino games such as the previous player has mentioned about sweet bonanza before.
Just heard the owner eddie mention about it during his livestreams on Saturdays and winning alot from them.
So just might give it a try when the boost are given out this weekend to try and make it on the next week's leaderboard. Smiley

Already put in my bet on this one and ready to rock and roll! Cool
This is even better value than the one from yesterday which was correct @8.50x odds.

Pick this one up lads if you have some spare mbtc on your accounts. Wink

Don't forget to put in your betbuilders on any match for the rest of the games being played today in the champions league to get your free betbuilder for the NFL tussles tomorrow night!
Best of luck all! Smiley
4849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 25, 2020, 02:52:36 PM
This time it is also a lot more complex that it goes this way. Trump will also not be quick to acknowledge his downfall and will do anything to win the election.
For his years in the presidency, people have seen enough of him and they were not happy, that's the reason why he loss in the election.
Of course he already taste how sweet to be in power, he would not give up easily, but it's not him who speak for that, people will.

I hope he doesn't win, he is also a very bad loser by the way.
He will not win, people know Biden got this already, an official announcement is the only thing they are waiting before grading bets out.
The grading of the bets made on biden to win by bookies will happen if he concedes because the ones who have not paid out yet have a rule in the terms of the bets saying if he does not say "he lost" then they will not pay out until he most definitely has conceded the presidency. In essence saying that he had lost.
But has instead said they will see it out in court. This is where many of the books who still not have paid are protected because they state in their rules before you place your bet if it goes to court then they will have to wait until they get the official result from these court cases.
Pinnacle, Betfair, and those who affiliated with these books still have not paid out these winning bets yet and won't until probably January 20th when he has to step down even if he has not conceded/saying he has lost by then.
This would be the very last date the bookies would need to settle their bets.

Has anyone measured how often Steve's Multi Magics win? It would be interesting to see the average probability of them winning, considering they usually do 6/7/8x returns so anything over 20% is good in the long run.

I'm not even sure if there's an active Multi Magic this week  Cheesy, I've been too busy betting in other markets lately.

Here are the specials left for this week. As you can see the very last one is the steve multimagic.

Real madrid, Wolfsburg and Lazio are a gimme. Leicester city vs Fulham should be a no-brainer so this one looks like a winner at above the lucky 7 odds! Grin

Some nice picks there and I wouldn't have a doubt you will get your 458btc win this week. Wink

Here are my selections for the week. Only three draws and the two are both in the bundesliga from what happened to Bayern Munich last weekend. Embarrassed

After watching Manchester United in their match just ending the champions league, they look unstoppable and it will probably spill over in their match against the Sotons! Cool

Good luck all!

edit: made a change to the draws I put in just before submitting the betslip.

Looks like one of the specials scored! Wink
Juventus with a very late goal had the rest of the teams: Man Utd, Barcelona, Lazio and PSG all winning their games quite easily with 3-0, 4-1 and 4-0's Grin

Did the score in the first half of all games win as well?
I wasn't following the barcelona game but watched PSG scoring first and the others were already ahead in the first half.

Hi Guys,
I really like our Sportsbet Specials tonight.. It does seem like it should be pretty one-sided and a goal-fest.
Bookies around the world are staring down a belting this evening as the punters load up on Multi bets for the next two days.. could be some serious pain for us!   Shocked Shocked
But yeah, check out our very own in house Champions League Specials here>> https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/today
In other Non-Football events, we have upcoming:
Thursday Thanksgiving NFL fixtures.. does anyone have any tips for these?
Friday morning sees India take on Australia in the first of many matches of Cricket for the next 3 months..   Cool
Sunday, Formula 1 is back in the Middle East.. How far will the Mercedes win by this race??   Undecided
Good luck with the next 2 nights of Football guys, it should be interesting at the very least!   Grin
regards,
Steve.
Sportsbet.io
It was tempting for the first half goals I went and took it! Wink
Thanks for the offer on the Uefa championship games today in the specials shown.

As for the Thanksgiving NFL match-ups. There are three games going on to choose from:
Texans vs Lions
Washington vs Dallas
Ravens vs Steelers

You can go with the heavy favorites in your betbuilders but that's exactly what I did in a prelim game for me to test my knowledge in the NFL and it was a disaster.
Tampa was @1.45x odds being the overwhelming favorites at home (which doesn't matter much now without the home-side fans cheering them on) and it was the exact opposite with Goff getting over 300 yards passing and 3 TDs instead of Brady and LA winning the game.
So it is best to check the line-ups before placing a bet. As the LA Rams are were something like 39-0 when leading after the first 3 quarters in their matches.
So the odds were stacked against the Buccs last night.
Some players on the Ravens team are absent due to the cases so their game might not be an over on points.
I might go with Dallas as they are starting to catch up to make up for so many losses in their first weeks of the season.
The lions just are bad so the Texans will probably outscore them in their game so the handicap on points is more likely.
4854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Navi 21 next generation of rdna better to mine than current navi cards? on: November 24, 2020, 03:14:20 PM
cons: gddr6

3090/3080 is gddr6x -double bandwidth

if amd uses hbm2e it will contend with 3080/3090, which seems to be not the case.

there is also word out there that amd will use a fast "cache" to supplement that gddr6-will it perform close to gddr6x? we'll see in the very near future.
Yet AMD has smart access memory, when tested have an advantage over nvidia video cards according to the testing that has been done when it comes to mining (remember we are talking about mining and not the gaming aspects of these cards):

4855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia with a 80Gb graphic card on the horizen on: November 24, 2020, 03:12:21 PM
Which cards from amd are 32gb? I have only seen the 16gb cards but those were made specifically for mining in rx570 generation.

The new 6800xt versions have just come out and have been some testing done and there is some headroom for devs to work on the smart access memory for their cards.

Just heard nvidia are looking to release a Ti version of both the 3080 and 3090 to offset any advantage amd will have with this technology they have implemented in their new offerings:

4856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 23, 2020, 09:00:34 PM
Not your key not your coin,  just got non-custodain next time.
But how can you sell from non-custodian wallets? Most of my coins are in hardware wallets. But I was planning to sell some btc to take advantage of this bull run but because of this crap Coinbase I can't  Cry

Is there any other way to buy/sell without using exchange?

There are Decentralized exchange that you hold private key like Bisq. But it's market is very limited, Did coinbase support tell you the reason why your account got freeze? They always do that once you violate there ToS. So far we have no choice on using custodial wallet like exchange since its the most convenient way to trade. Just don't let your asset stay there for a long time after you trade.

Try to coordinate to there support. They will surely release your funds once you follow there instructions.
I asked the support 'WHY' my account got under review and they replied ' currently your account is under review bla bla and explained what can be done during review bla bla'  a copy paste reply!

There is absolutely no violation as far as I know because all I did was sent some btc from my kraken account. I am already fully verified.  This extremely annoying Sad
I have heard other users on several dice sites saying the exact same thing. With coinbase suspending their accounts saying they are sending from the platform to other sites which violates their terms of service.
Which I find very ridiculous, if they can regulate what you can do with your own bitcoin. Roll Eyes
But it is true.

If you are purchasing any bitcoin or cryptocurrency from their platform they can do whatever they want since your using their platform to do it.
Just absurd.

Not your key not your coin,  just got non-custodain next time.

But how can you sell from non-custodian wallets? Most of my coins are in hardware wallets. But I was planning to sell some btc to take advantage of this bull run but because of this crap Coinbase I can't  Cry

maybe you could sell to a trusted person here on BitcoinTalk
 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
I would have to agree with philipma1957 on his suggestion if you don't have any other way to purchase bitcoin:
Find someone on the forums to do it with you, but choose a reliable cryptocurrency trader who has past transactions done in the funds you want to transact in. Such as paypal, moneygram, venmo, etc.
Just make sure they have post history here meaning not with a newbie account or someone with no trades in their profile page.

I bet on them for my betbuilder for their NFL promotion to get a freebet. Wink

Congrats @mitchr4 for winning this rounds MM. Sorry for others who were just 1 correct pick behind but you guys also did well. We guys are doing great.. It would be wonderful if we also maintain a stat of no. of rounds won by Bctalk members.
There were 10 others right behind him so it was that close! Lips sealed
If he didn't get that last win for the draw then there would of been a split of the weekly prize with 30mbtc given out.
So there was some luck on his side.

Anyways what is past is done. Will wait until tomorrows selections to see what beholds us in the next round.
Best of luck to us lads on this black friday giveaway! Wink

It does look like the leaderboard changed earlier today when I noticed my ac milan bet on the multimaster slip wasn't graded yet.

But this didn't change the outcome to top spot being taken by our very own Mitchr4 as Steve has already mentioned on the main thread with his last post.

Already placed my bets for the NFL betbuilder special they have up on that same post.
An easy way to get 3x1mbtc free bets so to bet on something other than soccer this week. Cheesy
4858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major differences between Bitcoin rally 2017 and 2020 on: November 23, 2020, 05:01:27 PM
As Bitcoin bullrun continues there are some differences between 2017 and today.
1. Whales bitcoin addresses keep growing and balances are not shrinking that means more holders, in 2017 there were more whales sellers.
2. Much more institutional investors are flowing into bitcoin.
3. There was a dominance of Asian investors and money in 2017 and now with PayPal, CME, Square more money is coming from America.
4. As TA guys may notice price action of Bitcoin rally 2020 looks more technically prdeictable than in 2017.

What differences did you notice?
You have missed one major point and that is bitcoin dominance. In 2017 the dominance of bitcoin was less due to the ICO hype.
Many investors threw their money on altcoins popping up in the ICO era. Due to this the dominance for altcoins increased a lot.
This time though it's bitcoin who is leading the dominance and this is a good sign since many people are holding bitcoin.
This only means that the price is about to grow more.
This was one of the topics which was referring to that I do not quite understand when it comes to the bitcoin price yet it did break a record just recently and is one of the major staying factors for the price to stabilize.
4859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major differences between Bitcoin rally 2017 and 2020 on: November 23, 2020, 04:27:12 PM
As already discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5290012 - 2020 rally is much more stable and standing stable for much more days comparing to 2017. Because, on 2017 we had bitcoin above trading above 10K only for 29 days, less than a month. during the 2017 bitcoin pump was partly happened because of the new investors investing on bitcoin but on 2020 there are many positive fundamental news related to bitcoin such as grayscale and paypal. This will stabilize the price on long period of the time.

It is certainly different this time in 2020 because from back then no corporate entities were interested in bitcoin and they viewed it not as stable as precious metals or even stocks. Back then it was even relying on the SEC on getting approval for on ETF. Which when it was announced skyrocketed the price only due to them speculating on having it viewed by senate representatives. What happened? They took all of 20 seconds to ask about it then it getting a flat out denied by the senate appeal.
This made the confidence level in bitcoin drop and so did the price after hearing this news hit media outlets yet again.

So here we are in 2020 and talks of paypal showing interest and educating the uneducated about it allowing them to purchase it directly from their platform, yet not allowing them to withdraw it off of there.
CNBC having interview after interview with big heads of corporate companies saying it is better than gold and it is worth 10oz of the precious metals driving up interest from many others to finally pay close attention to this rise up from $8000 to $19000 in a matter of a month and a half.
It breaking records in hashrate and some other things I am less inquisitive on. But it all means more money is flowing into bitcoin.

So to me this rally is real and less fabricated than the last one back in 2017.
Meaning this one is here to stay and not drop all the way down to $3300 like it did back in March of this year.
4860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 23, 2020, 03:50:10 PM
How’s it going boys?
I was just bored & thought I’d do this for you.
When the pool started pay in was 0.0045BTC which at the time was approx £40.
See the bolded below I added to hilarious’ post to show the current fiat value of the prizes. Bitcoin price has risen dramatically & I expect it to continue to rise, by the end of the season I think we’ll see around $50,000 per bitcoin.
But if the prizes were paid out right now they’d be the following (in bold).
As long as the BTC price doesn't go crazy then it will probably 0.0045 as that's a little over £40 right now.
1st 0.1 - £1.385
2nd 0.05 - £692
3rd 0.04 - £554
4th 0.03 - £415
5th 0.02 - £277
6th 0.01 - £138
7th 0.01 - £138
8th 0.01 - £138
9th 0.01 - £138
10th 0.01 - £138
As you can see the prizes now look a lot better than they were when we started the season. They’ll be at least double that again by May.
Good luck everybody.
This is an interesting observation LFC! Smiley
It does favor those who paid their fee when BTC was $8.5k or so from what I remember it being around $48usd for an entry fee.

But as we know, sportsbet.io does not change their prize amounts once they state them. So nodoby needs to worry about getting less since it's paid in BTC amount and not in dirty fiat prices. Wink

I highly doubt they will all the sudden change it out of the blue even if it does reach $50k (according to your prediction on the bitcoin coin to be) by May. So that being the end of the season and this competition.
This would not bode to well for those who play on both bitcasino.io/sportsbet.io and I highly agree they would not jeopardize their kinsmanship due to a little thing such as price.
They have much more than just this small prize giveaway rolling in day in and day out on both sites to just toss this trust down the tubes.
