One more time, you can't hate religion, faith or ideology.
It makes little sense.
But, you can hate bad people in Islam, other religions, politicians etc.
Actually, yes, you can hate religion, faith or ideology, and it makes a lot of sense.

Would it be a searchable PDF?

I do not accept Islam but I do not understand people who want the death of the representatives of Islam. Yes, they have a kind of faith, and few who normally treats her. But if there were no terrorists among Islam, I would have treated this faith in a completely different way and not as it is now

I agree with this, it is an inescapable conclusion for any reasonable person.
4844  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Trinity found in the Bible? on: July 08, 2018, 02:43:16 AM
Trinity is blasphemy, there is only one God. all they say about son and father is something that some people made up to lure more people towards hell.

Being an atheist makes it much easier to read and understand books such as the Bible.

You can have your faith or truth, take your pick.

It's a pretty good joke though, that this simple question is a point of confusion.

Look at Wikipedia for trinity....

4845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Electric Cars - The future ? on: July 06, 2018, 03:50:22 PM
Everything depends on the corporations that extract and sell oil. They impede development to everything that can replace their product, and since they have a lot of money and power the electric cars will not become the future soon. But given that the maintenance of electric cars is becoming cheaper and cheaper than conventional cars, sooner or later it will become a future

No.

You or anybody can go to eBay and look at the prices of lithium ion batteries in large quantity. You can order them if you like. Oil companies DO NOT influence those prices.

And yes they are very expensive if you want enough of them to power a car.

When are the other candidates going to figure it out, America is sick and tired of cookie cutter political rhetoric. They are tired of politicians who make promises they cannot keep. They can see through stupid candidates BS and campaign lies. This is America.  Wink

Good question.

Wait....

Do you mean Pocahantas has a problem?
4847  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: July 06, 2018, 03:42:46 PM
there are two institutions that cause people to hate Islam, government and the media. both describe Islam as a radical religion. the government has the interest to take over the oil fields in Islamic countries. while the media if they proclaim the ugliness of Islam, their rating will rise.

Another source of the hate for Islam are the teachings and rules the Koran lays down for people.

4848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: July 05, 2018, 11:03:49 PM
Islam lay emphasis on learning (from cradle to grave), you'll only get to know about Islam through learning especially from the Sunni scholars who will educate you about the pristine Islam.

Hatred they consume are from useless media painting Islam bad.

For your edification I have bolded the part that's laughably false.

I hate to bring you this news but F***book, Twitter and Google....

None of these are anything like a moral compass, they are utterly corrupt and against your interests and mine.

And we don't need "cryptocurrency adds."

That one is worth thinking over.

I'm interested to know why you have such a negative reaction towards FB, Twitter and Google. These are largest social platforms out there and will be key in spreading info about crypto. With their support alone, crypto, bitcoin and blockhain tech will officially go mainstream. And this is our goal, right? For bitcoin to be a legit virtual currency?

Why such a negative opinion?

Because they thoroughly deserve it.

Personaly I don't think that Trump will do any good to USA. Actualy with him USA lost the chance to become the greatest leading country in the world again.
He will only make the crisis deeper and make the new enemies, can't see how could this contribute to progress.

What Donald Trump is doing is solely for the USA citizens and them alone. He doesn't care about what the other countries think about the US as long as the US citizens are happy and they seem to be very pleased with what he is doing for them except the Liberals who are never going to be happy even if Trump makes it rain gold.

Trump may be making it 'rain gold' in Israel, but it ain't happening at my place here in the good old USA.  Frankly, except for the very welcome screwing of the EPA, I've not seen much of anything change.  Lot of talk and a lot of excuses about the mean old 'deep state' while he stuffs his cabinet full of them.

I have the same question about the water output of the new foxconn wisconsin plants... last summer to swim this lake? there is a difference between streamlining and letting all go south. But why would trump admin sacrifice this lake and filters and what ever is in those waters is harvest-able...

thanks for your message tvbcof.
But...but it's a DIFFERENT SWAMP!!!

some are so corrupt, so beyond anything what is constituting human being, that I believe that the D.C. Swamp is full of the vomit of the patriots, who seeing this feast of traitors and criminal can't manage their stomach properly.

emissionless electronic assembly factory is a little bit the basic standard that should be implemented now in the usa, however it is more expensive to build than giving a few checks to mr scott pruitt and his associates than making something great.

it's a little bit like the coal mining... it isn't. It's mountain top removal.

This is an interesting way to see things... and ask, what is really going?

but don't get me wrong, as horrible and denaturing mtr "mining" is, at least in a few years, it is just the topography that changed... contrary to a nuclear incident.

I have seen the trump admin understand the severity of the mass human invasions of those born in unsustainable area toward still habitable area (to destroy them by continuing the same behaviors and mental attitude that lead their former homeland to become waste and filthy, but I don't remember of hearing anything about the current mass extinctions of the planetary life system support... Generally, biodiversity recovers 5 to 10 million years after the extinction event. In the most severe mass extinctions it may take 15 to 30 million years... at least nuke fallout will be mostly merged in the background.

the exact topic is "Anthropogenic ecocide"

The term ecocide is more recently used to refer to the destructive impact of humanity on its own natural environment. As a group of complex organisms we are committing ecocide through unsustainable exploitation of the planet's resources. The geological era we are living in, known as the anthropocene, is so named because the activities of the human species are influencing the Earth's natural state in a way never seen before. The most notable example is that of the atmosphere which is being transformed through the emission of gases from fossil fuel use : carbon dioxide, methane, chlorofluorocarbons etc. The ecocide we are witnessing is a symptom of the disregard and reward for accounting for the damage being caused. U.S. environmental theorist and activist Patrick Hossay [3] argues that the human species is committing ecocide, via industrial civilization's effects on the global environment. Much of the modern environmental movement stems from this belief as a precept.

the problem is how to abord this theme with the hordes of freshly breeded "human" worldwide, who sees the earth support system has things made for them to be plundered, exploited and destroyed for their own little benefits, and the disadvantage and pain of the rest of the world and specially advanced.

I find fun how brazilians always said: we can destroy our rain forest because europeans destroyed their own forest before in europe. And I find fun that this lame argument was accepted. In my opinion it would be easier to wipe brazilian population until they fit inside an acceptable level to not hurt the rain forest, that doesn't belong to them.

so yes, anthropogenic ecocide ask the question of extra territoriality, specifically among the "savages" and with "domestic corrupts" too.

and then come those with their traditions, we have the right to kill the last whale because we killed all the previous ones...

most should read about what happen to rats when overpopulation start to be terminal in an ecosystem...

If you haven't walked and driven through coal mining - yes, strip mining lands, and maybe a few uranium mines, then I suggest you STFU. Because your rant really looks second and third hand, regurgitated from alarmists that are trying just to manipulate you.

And yes, I have been in these areas.

The ONLY way the blacks do not swing about 1/3 for Trump in 2020 is if the Demos run another black presidential candidate.

Black support cannot rise about something like 1/3 because of the way certain black house members are entrenched in specific congressional districts.
4852  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Trinity found in the Bible? on: July 05, 2018, 12:48:32 AM
I have read through and am yet to come across such word as trinity. This now means that it's input by someone somewhere.

Great question. I can so no, but someone with good knowledge of the ancient languages the originals were written in (NT) might differ.

However there are the three concepts of God-ness expressed in the NT and the word Trinity does encapsulate those.

4855  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: July 04, 2018, 10:16:15 PM
The way I see it, maybe those climate deniers mentioned something in the Reddit's science forum that they do not like or against on what they believe in. Seriously, would you let someone or keep someone close that is against you? Of course not right? So, it is only reasonable to remove and ban them from that page to also avoid conflicts.

Dead wrong.

It is that very conflict that is required for the advancement of science. That's the competition of ideas and of facts, through which process science slowly advances.

For science it makes no difference what "they do not like" or "what they believe in."

But what about all the places where a "heat wave" is defined as > 77F?
4857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: July 02, 2018, 02:09:09 PM
The majority if not all of those that hate Islam actually does that from the superstitious and lies people around them are saying ,I'll implore such people to learn what Islam is all about and I hope Allah will guide them aright.

The outcome of that may not be what you think it would be.

Most people with half a brain will become ex-Muslims after reading Quran.  Problem with all religions is that not many people actually read the goat skin manuscripts of their respective religions.

Historically that's certainly been true, and Islam today coincidentally exists in many illiterate and poverty stricken areas.

But it's interesting that here we see both pro and anti - Islam persons suggesting, "read the Koran."

Really it's wise to go further than that, for example into a study of comparative religions. But it doesn't take much to reject the doctrines of Islam, unless perhaps one was in a Islamic society and culture and family, and must keep his opinions and attitudes secret.

http://faculty.chicagobooth.edu/eric.budish/research/Economic-Limits-Bitcoin-Blockchain.pdf

I will caveat this by stating that I am not a economist and have not spent time working through the formulas the author proposes to understand Bitcoin's equilibrium states. ....
My ask is for a technical/academic person to review this and provide your thoughts so I can more fully understand this paper.

I've read the thread but not the paper, and I have one immediate and relevant comment.

The peer review process of that paper is quite obviously THIS THREAD.

It is not the various "experts" to whom the paper was sent for peer review.

Various errors and questions have been raised in this thread. I'll try to have a comment in a couple of days that's more than just a quickie.
