4861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Huge drop happening within 48 hours! (I WAS RIGHT!) on: August 30, 2019, 08:00:11 AM
Bear trap.

If I'm going to take my bullish hat off, I believe the OP might be slightly correct in that $9,000 will be tested again. But a "drop", and within "48 hours", no. Slow 14 day decline maybe.
Quite evident, by the way the market at present is experiencing marginal fluctuation within specific price range. If I'm not wrong there is possibilities for the price correction to reach the $8500 range within a short period of time if the $9500 resistance level gets broken.
4862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 30, 2019, 05:59:20 AM
~snip~
I couldn't watch the game, but from the scorecard it looks like Mitchell Starc cleaned up the lower order in very quick time. He took 3 wickets in a single over, to finish with 46/3. I want Australia to go for the 4th test with four pacers (Starc, Cummins, Hazlewood and Siddle), with part time spin from Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith as the slower options.
I was always missing Starc in the last three matches. If Starc were there then may be we would not see Australia to lose the last test. Starc is very good to wrap up the tail enders quickly. It's beyond my imagination that why did the management lost confidence from Starc. I hope to see him in the next Test.
As like Indian Cricket Board there might be some internal politics which has kept Starc out of the last three matches. As said Starc is a strong player to take away the end wickets, but I don't think his presence could've taken the wicket of Stokes. The entire team has been targeting him, and at some point he started aggressive game, by that time he could've caught or bowled and send to the pavilion.
4863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Police helps people to stay away from Bitcoin ATM Scheme and save their funds. on: August 30, 2019, 01:32:14 AM
Canada being a crypto friendly country has got more number of bitcoin ATMs. Everywhere new ways bitcoin is taken away from the common people who are new to the cryptocurrency usage. Here in Winnipeg, a city of Canada simple trick was played with posters being placed along the side of the BITCOIN ATM. The poster has the description mentioned bitcoin ATM under software update. For purchase and deposit don't use your own wallets, use the one that is mentioned with a QR code on the poster.

Police mentioned those posters weren't put by the Bitcoin ATM owners, This is a simple trick and people are buying and depositing to someone else which is irreversible. Also, suggested not to use ATMs if you aren't familiar with its usage. Importantly never buy and send to unknown wallets, send only to known wallets which is controlled by you or a person next to you.

Even though there is warnings some will still continue to loss their funds, it isn't the mistake of the police and here the users needs to be more cautious. I expect such a level of support from police from every country which isn't a fair expectation, but this will happen someday.

4864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 29, 2019, 09:02:35 AM

Isn't it 1-1? Australia won the 1st test, 2nd one is drawn and England won the 3rd. Both team has opportunity to lift the Ashes 2019, however, Australia could have changed bowlers which is likely to be happened in nezt matches.

It's 1-1 only.

The best thing about test matches are able to yield a result unlike earlier times when teams used to not declare and the matches used to end in a draw. May be because these are WC matches.

WI vs IND: Jadeja will be playing in place of Ashwin. Don't know why they can't play both.
Keemo Paul will play in place of Cummins. The later's SR is better but he is still a newbie unlike Cummins. WI are out of options.
Maybe Indian cricket board might have given Ashwin rest for the upcoming series against South Africa which is scheduled for the upcoming month. These days every test matches were getting results as mentioned in a post. This makes the test matches to be more interesting and watchable for the fans who stopped watching test cricket and moved to T20 matches.
4865  Economy / Economics / Re: how supply of currency decided on: August 29, 2019, 07:58:32 AM
Supply of currency is decided on various factors, when there is over demand it'll be attributed with different sources of banking institutions, payments and settlements, development in different sectors (can be of financial, infrastructure, etc). Above all the increase in the level of income and the opportunity cost for the purpose of holding the currency over a limited time period is calibrated for the required circulation of currency.

This circulation of currency always increases when there is increase in the foreign assets holding than the domestic assets.
4866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC hacked from blockchain wallet on: August 29, 2019, 05:00:28 AM

Once the private key is in your hands you're responsible for the funds. Truly speaking someone might have known about your private keys and passwords. Myself too have experienced loss of funds from my blockchain wallet which happened due to my negligence of keeping private keys securely.

If you carefully read my post, I always double-check and secure it, no one have access to my private keys or passwords. This is the case of the blockchain wallet security, please take some time to read similar posts, it happens these days on a regular basis.
[/quote]
I'm not talking in favour of blockchain.com, but however we cross check there are possible chances to miss the private keys and passwords. For me it happened in 2016, further I was very careful in handling my private keys and paawords. Till date haven't encountered any problems. You can trace the last transaction from your wallet and the corresponding ip, which might make it clear whether it has happened from your location.

Hello,

I'm very sorry to hear about this. You may have some type of malware on your computer that resulted in your funds being stolen because your private information was somehow obtained. One of the most common types of these are browser extensions posing as bitcoin price tickers that are actually stealing your account information. There's also the possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as Blockchain. We've also heard of computer viruses that detect when an address is in your clipboard, and replace the one you wanted to use with an address controlled by this malicious party.

By design, Blockchain never has access to users' accounts or funds. If you keep your password and private key backups secure, then your funds are always safe with us. Since this information has been compromised, be sure to never use this wallet or any addresses contained within it. I'd also highly advise against using the same password again. I'm truly sorry that you had funds stolen from you. That certainly is an extremely frustrating experience.

Hello,
None of what you mentioned really occured, it was probably a breach in your security system. And, yes, again as you mentioned, that certainly was an extremely frustrating experience. But what is more frustrating is that you hold no responsibility. I was totally sure that my funds would be safe with you, blockchain.com wallet was chosen, because I trusted you.
But this is the point where trust ends.
That was not my fault. My computer is always double-checked and secure, and I never visit phishing sites or extensions. Such response from you, no help or compensation offered from your side, makes it even more frustrating.
I will never use again and will discourage other people to use your service.
I am also going to make this situation and our conversation public.

4868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which coins or tokens will be profitable within this month? on: August 28, 2019, 07:37:53 AM
Op has requested for the profitable coins or tokens for the year 2018 October. Now we've crossed almost an year, and now at the present market situation every leading altcoins have increased from March month while there is no big growth with majority of the altcoins. This year IEOs have made a big change in the market. More IEO have been launched through different exchanges, and users too prefer it as the investment made on IEO can be taken to trading in a very short time period as the tokens gets listed within few days after the IEO launch.
4869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: August 28, 2019, 06:52:30 AM
I prefer ethereum over any of the altcoins available for investment. Over the years it has experienced massive growth as well drastic fall, yet this is one among top altcoin for investing long term and for short term profiting. Those mentioned in the Op is perfect list of altcoins. Whatever the investment is it needs to be diversified to have the portfolio strong.

Most users here have missed the altcoin season which blow away the entire cryptocurrency market. Maybe once again this could happen, until then it needs to considered time for investing as the upcoming year has got a very big expectation on different upcoming events.
4870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get interest on my bitcoin without KYC? on: August 28, 2019, 04:52:45 AM
Hey, so I just cashed out a few 100 dollar of bitcoin from a gambling site. But i want to cash it out when btc hits 10k euro.
Is there any way i can get interest on my btc, maybe even by lending?
Disclaimer: i dont want ANY risk that my funds will decrease/dissapear.
To get interest out of the bitcoin is possible only through lending, investing, trading, and gambling. When you go through all these possibilities to increase the bitcoin you need to take risk. This way without risking it is completely an impossible thing to make your bitcoin grow or get interest out of it.

Earlier poloniex has the access to lend, that is quite risk free and trusted platform in my view. Now I'm not sure whether poloniex provides the service by now.

4872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: August 28, 2019, 02:09:01 AM
In most of the countries bitcoin isn't recognized or supported by the government, but there is no legal opposing. This means bitcoin and its need has been understood and there is continued try to identify whether it is required for the growth or not. In other way as it is P2P they can't control it and so just making the transaction illegal government isn't gonna get anything big.

Very importantly very few countries like Japan have taken strong decisions on the use of cryptocurrencies making themselves to be the leader, because some day this is gonna get used by people which is the truth. Rather than competing later it is good to adopt it earlier and be the leader.
4873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yes!! Binance To Provide VIP Status For Hacked Accounts on: August 27, 2019, 08:57:07 AM
Well, that is their own luck, I am not sure that the benefit that is attached to a VIP account and that of the normal account has much difference, I believe it is just a way to still appeal to them and make them to continue to stay with the exchange, but wait, those people are really VIP, because I learnt that what was taken away from binance account is about $41 million and this came from very few accounts.

It mean the least in those account might be like $2 million dollars, aren’t they VIP indeed, and to think of it also, why would someone even keep such big amount of money in an exchange when they can easily make use of  hardware wallet? I totally understand that risk is everywhere, but hardware wallet is still much safer than an exchange for such amount of money.
Though there is not much of benefits in being a VIP account, the step taken forward by Binance is appreciable. More than 6000 accounts have got affected with this data leakage. Now to gain the trust of the users more support and services were provided for them. Earlier during the hack also they settled to the users who lost.

Same time Binance keeps working to improve their security features as users were experiencing difficulties often. Keeping such big funds in exchange is not recommended, but daily traders do trade in large volume regularly. This is the reason for the users to prefer to hold large funds on exchanges even though there is hardware wallets which is highly secure.
4874  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will Hit $100,000 in or Before 2022 on: August 27, 2019, 07:00:13 AM
Do you agree with me on my prediction that Bitcoin price will hit 100k before December 2022?

This upward movement will be fueled by People's sentiment and other important indicators. I also have a strong believe That no single person nor single policy is capable to bring the price down, rather the price is decided by the people's sentiments.

I agree with your prediction, but I am not sure that the bitcoin price can hit $100k before that time. It still mystery to us because we cannot predict with right and we could only follow where the market wants to move. But if the price can really increase to that price, then I am sure that all people will be shocked and for people who are not investing their money in bitcoin will think that they lose a very big chance to make a lot of money from bitcoin.

But that will be 2 years later than now, and I think if the price can hit $20k this year, that will be a new chance for bitcoin to be popular within the public. I am sure that they will join in bitcoin and the long-term, it will attract more people to come into cryptocurrency.
I have see many predictions this days as par the reason why bitcoin is going to hit $100,000 by 2021 on both here and Twitter and it really sound strange. I think the reason why bitcoin is a bit better is because of the halving by next year may. I doubt now if bitcoin will go so high in next 2 years.
Halving is a big expectation among the common cryptocurrency users for the next level of growth. This is more or less an assured process that makes some changes over the market in terms of the supply. Though there were countries standing against cryptocurrency, on the other side there is continued adoption from low level to large scale companies. This portrays the increasing demand of bitcoin and this could get reflected on the rise in the price of bitcoin.

On what basis I don't know, but there is big hype for the upcoming halving as well as the year 2022. Let's wait and experience the reality, because expectations, predictions and impossible things getting achieved is common with bitcoin.

4876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 26, 2019, 10:35:05 AM
Historically gambling in the earlier days was much important for the kings. Most of the time it happens as a fight between two men. The winner will be given rewards, and further this was being used by common people playing between themselves challenging each other. The further progress is what we call as gambling. During the days of king rule this wasn't much played and didn't affected the common people's life.

As days passed gambling changed to be a business and more people out of greed and earning big in a short took risk and this ruined the living. This is why we've got more countries to ban gambling.
4877  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: August 26, 2019, 07:46:42 AM
Taxes were the key tool that governments use to acquire the earnings of people. When the nation goes Taxless surely large investment flow will happen into the country as investment. Taxless society is possible only when basic needs of a citizen is fulfilled by the government. Even the richest economy of the world haven't fulfilled the needs of common people.

Here rises a question how would the government gets income, governments should avoid privatization. In several countries even the sectors that were under the control of governments were handed over to private networks. This will accumulate the fund in a single persons hand. If it is under the government control it gets to the hands of the common people through the government. Maybe this is impossible, but this seems to be the only way to go Taxless.
4878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 26, 2019, 06:57:50 AM
We'd love to see that new Casino site will accept a number of different cryptocurrencies not just only for BTC, ETH, could be at least the top 10 coins in CMC maybe. Prizes may vary depending on the capability of the house and some basis of the wide competition.
Above all, the most important we are secured, friendly user and comfortable to be there.
Top 10 cryptocurrencies in CMC are too much, even BTC, ETH, DOGE, and LTC. Because these are the most cryptocurrencies that usually use in all gambling platforms. The first thing that makes me impressed if the gambling site has a simple design and the theme color must users friendly to the eyes, for example, mint green color. Because gamblers are easy to appreciate on the user interface on the site.
The interface is a must as mentioned, beyond this we need to know about the winning probability. There are sites that have the lowest winning. Color scheme and flawless functioning on every platforms like mobiles, tabs or on desktops is a must. Some used to lag when there is poor connectivity in the network. By that time if we are into some casino games surely there is chances for change in the end result. This needs to be kept perfect to work even on low range of connectivity.
OP's provide a good list on it and the most important is fast withdrawal and deposit, ain't know why some gamblers need to hurry when it comes into these services.
When there is continuous winning streak users expect to fund the wallet and go for high rolls which is why gamblers prefer fast depositing.
4879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 26, 2019, 06:31:02 AM
What a game, Australia could never thought such a situation that will happen at the end of the match. Stokes proved his ability in all forms of cricket. How he played the match and took the team towards win is really perfect. He started slowly as a tortoise and got turned to be a storm at the end. His second second boundary was hit at 74 runs. With this we can see how hard he had kept himself in control and did the right thing at the right time understanding the wicket fall at the other side.

It was back in 2016 on the presidential election of America. My inner mind was wavering the higher odds of Trump, but going through the winning chances and different statistics put forth by different media sources chose Hillary Clinton. If I've gone with my feeling I could've got a big profit as the odds for Trump was more than 5+ times higher.
