4861  Other / Meta / Re: Issue with flag system (Please FIX) on: June 10, 2020, 08:41:48 PM
You can't create it against the person who started the topic.

I attempted to add a flag to the user who started the topic and it said I could not do this on self-mod topics.
Hm, I created flags against OP of self-moderated topics before, here is one recent example.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2809954

And here is the self-moderated topic
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250623.msg54487871#msg54487871
I can't see a self mod topic linked on that flag. What he really meant is the link to the flag not that if one user has created a self mod topic before will not work it against him, that's not the case he presented here.
4862  Other / Meta / Re: Issue with flag system (Please FIX) on: June 10, 2020, 08:30:12 PM
I think to cater that is you may post a scam accusation first on the said account then link that to flag him.

You can create a flag using a link on a person's trust page.

I think that's a good find on you because if you have created a self mod accusation thread about him and link that to flag the account that will not still effect. I think you found a good bug, I don't know if this has been found already on the trust flag thread of theymos but I guess it was the first time I heard it. By the way, the trust flag system will celebrate its first anniversary by tomorrow.

You don't flag topic, you put flag on user that created that topic. I don't see a reason why you can't create flag against OP.
I think what he meant is the link to be linked on the flag.

Edit: By the way, @MagicByt3 don't double post, I see it below my post. Edit the first reply instead of creating another reply.

Possible kaya dito makahiram sa Local natin ng ganitong amount?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5254329.msg54586222#msg54586222

Already posted my request, pero try ko pa rin baka may kaya dito sa atin,... Mas okay din kasi para mas maliwanag yung terms sa payments.
Current Value in BTC ay nasa 0.72BTC or mas maganda din sana kung Peso na lang din.
Pwede naman ako sa weekly payments or Bi-weekly na mas okay.
I guess you mean 0.072, am I right? By 6 months you'll pay mga Php 1.6k/ $32 per week + interest, I think that's reasonable naman as long as the lender agreed on your terms.
4864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: June 10, 2020, 07:42:59 PM
Does bounty detective has a mob of bounty hunters? I thought bounty hunting was not that popular nowadays because most of it are totally not cool. If they are that successful then why the OP's post only indicate one distributed campaign?

Bounty will be distributed by Bounty Detective, and I think the bounty hunter will definitely get money from this bounty. But what is confusing me is that the price is falling every day

They write "The reward distribution of IOI bounty is guaranteed by Bounty Detective" and this is one funny sentence. They do not escrow funds. How are they guarantee distribution? If the project decides not to pay, are they going to buy tokens with their own money and make a distribution? Silly management Cheesy
That's totally silly if they can't see any proof they hold the tokens to be distributed in their hands yet they made that statement. I wonder how many bounty they already managed and how many of it were successfully distributed to its participants.
4865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK rules will hit loot boxes games hard - as they’re turning kids into gamblers. on: June 10, 2020, 02:03:10 PM

I think lots of people would be interested in the news concerning gambling in these parts.  And the gambling section is already very cluttered with gambling news threads.

Hence this is why this section exist

If you don't want to start it, can I?  Smiley

Would be such a messy thread if in one thread people throw in 10 random gambling news then everyone just state their opinion without actually addressing to which topic they are actually commenting
News or not I think it deserved to be discussed here on the gambling discussion board unless we see a gambling news board where we can see these kind of posts. It's isn't prohibited to make a thread like that and I think that's a good suggestion. If there's no bump for over a day then you can decide to bump it on a new and fresh news about gambling especially when it concern to crypto but I guess any different kind of gambling news will do.
4866  Local / Pilipinas / Re: The Anti-Terrorism Act and Why Non-Custodial Wallets Will Be Important on: June 10, 2020, 05:44:48 AM
That will be a damn move by this terrorist if ever they really go cashless lalo na sa paggamit ng Bitcoin. Transaction can traced if it's traced and it can be freeze and mind me that will not be that hard kung sakaling may makita ang mga awtoridad na flaw of them. Fake accounts are easy to spot lalo na yung date of registration of it and the things you posted on normal compare sa fake accounts.
4867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question: pre market bitcoin. on: June 09, 2020, 02:32:50 PM
Okay.. guys.. I don't make up this story.. please calm down..

I just want to make sure before I spend thousands of dollars for retriving data from old hdd.

If I could retrieve this so called "private key" or whatever they emailed me, I probably be able to restore old bitcoin and could cashing it out. Am I correct?

I couldn't remember exact purchased date but I do remember that they opened bitcoin exchange market and I could saw bitcoin chart just after I bought it.

I remember bitcoin price jumped to nearly $1000 after they open exchange.

I just want to make sure the old bitcoin has value.

Okay we believe you it's your story, by the way, and we have no way to not believe it. But let us get this straight to the point because if you are saying the bitcoin you bought was from 2007 then we would say don't spend thousands of it just to retrieve the data because the real circulating Bitcoin in the present has been developed later in the year 2009.

If you can retrieve the private key of it or it was email on you then it will be all yours, yes you can decide what to do with it. The question is, are you sure that it was really the Bitcoin thing of the present or does the funds corresponding to that address hasn't move yet? I think there's no old Bitcoin my friend. If you think that it reached $1k when you've bought it or have emailed on you, whatsoever, then you might be wrong to think it was the year 2007 because the very first record that Bitcoin reach a thousand dollars was only in the year 2013.
4868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question: pre market bitcoin. on: June 09, 2020, 07:29:44 AM
If you think this is some sort of misspelled 20 years instead of ten years ago then that's sort of a big deal for you to really find it out. Check that hard disk first if it really has the file where you got the address and the password for it (at least don't leak it here or everywhere on the net, mind me). Well, that might be the case that they are testing it like P2P trading but at that time eBay or some kind of online platforms was really not the thing especially if it's 10 years ago based on what I presume that you just misspelled it.

You can still cash out that one of you have the full control of the address and the Bitcoin inside it. 100 worth of bitcoins are almost a million dollar right now baby but if you're saying that it was from the very first year of 21st century, I will really doubt the possibility that you'll cash out those because that will be worthless, no digital money from 20 years ago are in the market by now that's in the crypto circulation. If there was really a Bitcoin address with corresponding password in the email, the possibility is you can open it on a bitcoin wallet
4869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ETH2X.COM | ⭐Multiplayer Gambling ⭐Roulette ⭐Low House Edge on: June 09, 2020, 04:32:52 AM
If they are not really the first of its kind multiplayer roulette game then they shouldn't have to publicize it in the first place. By the way, you're new and even the results on your site tells it.

Welcome to the forum and hope you'll build here some trust to users and especially to gamblers who really fond of playing roulette.
4870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin, will this play a role in logistics industry? on: June 08, 2020, 09:51:53 PM
Bitcoin as a mode of payment for logistic will be usable in the first place but the underlying technology of Bitcoin the blockchain will really make a big impact for the logistics industry. Blockchain is for transparency, anti-fraud and much more similar to it, it will really revolutionized the logistics industry since blockchain is scalable in nature for example it could be used for tracking and authentication.

There are only few replies but this is worth a try, at least we have something to try. Thanks again.  Grin
No worries, just trying to share here really for those gamers and at the same time really fond of PBA.

I  just found it on streamers but don't have to download it but anyways thank you for pasting the link here and will download it when theirs available time since downloading this is time consuming and it can ruin my working hours.
Try downloading it late at night I casually download these kind of hefty files.

PBA players with expired contracts fear months without salary if stoppage lingers

Quote
By August 31, more players will have their contracts expired including stars such as San Miguel Beer’s Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot, Alaska’s Jeron Teng, Rome Dela Rosa of Magnolia, Meralco’s John Pinto, the NorthPort duo of Paolo Taha and Nico Salva, and Phoenix’s Jake Pascual and Dave Marcelo.

They will be affected if the PBA will not resume soon, we know that they are earning well but their standard of living has change as well, so they are still slave with their salary that they need to earn in order to survive. Pandemic was never expected, but I hope it will give them a lesson to always ensure savings as our future is always uncertain.
Are there any updates about PBA on when will they resume the game? Haven't read any article or news feed yet about it. By the way, I don't think these players will have a difficult of living yet until the end of the year but I wish the same for all that we slowly back to normal.
4872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 08, 2020, 07:32:19 AM
Another country that had a success and controlled the coronavirus that Las Vegas can follow is Macau. It is in close proximity with China and it is the highest densely populated region in the world.
What's so good about them? Well, they are not that hard-headed and follow government policies implemented to them unlike Uncle Sam's citizen who does not and other countries that there are cases of not obeying said policies; social distancing, wearing face mask, etc.
4873  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: George Floyd token FLYD on: June 08, 2020, 04:47:22 AM
I think you can move this on Altcoin Discussion as a such this kind was appropriate there or maybe on Scam Accusations board. People are really sick they will even make a memento kind of innocent being just to get scam anyone because they think this might get the hook off of the public.
4874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 08, 2020, 12:45:36 AM
Don't fret yet but I guess I know where to find them because those modded versions will never be released on something like playstore and I think PHCorner was the most active forum for such thing. You can browse on PHCorner site for it or you can directly go with this link https://phcorner.net/threads/pba-2k19.804412/. But I think what @mirakal just shared was way more advanced with this and I really think it will be available as well to PC. Let's wait for an update.

I am not recommending you to download it but at least do it with your own risks and at least read some replies there to know the reviews of users who installed it.
4875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 07, 2020, 05:11:43 PM
For the gamers here, is PBA2k game available in the playstore and have you tried playing it yet?

I saw the article but haven't read the full story yet.

Inside a team of modders’ quest to bring the PBA into ‘NBA 2K20’

There's no PBA2K on the playstore and reading the whole article they are still on the process to mod it and as far as I can tell more like it's only for PC what they are trying to modify and not for the mobile version based on the feature shown on the article. I think that's great to those PBA lover as well as gamer of basketball through PC or mobile (if they really make one of it), modding isn't easy and it will give them more pain in the ass before it will ever be released and besides they are just 3 man team but I think they are dedicated to finish it up.
4876  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [MEGATHREAD] Pilipinas Coronavirus/COVID-19 Thread on: June 07, 2020, 11:02:21 AM
COVID-19 Vaccine Update:

LONDON, United Kingdom — British pharma giant AstraZeneca is "on track" to begin rolling out up to two billion doses of a coronavirus vaccine in September if ongoing trials prove successful, its chief executive said on Friday.

this confuses me. other pharmaceuticals firms think COVID-19 vaccine will not be ready until 2021 and they still think that having a vaccine ready in 2021 is a long shot. yet AstraZeneca said that if the trials proved to be successful they will be rolling out 2 billion doses of the vaccine by September.
Hoping that it will be rolled out by September and that's really the vaccine we are waiting and it's that effective to fight off the virus because as what I've read on the article it will still be a trial and error.

"Our present assumption is that we will have the data by the end of the summer, by August, so in September we should know whether we have an effective vaccine or not."

But I know we are all that positive when something like this news comes up and I'm praying 🙏 this will be a success, like most of us hoping for.
4877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Designing a futureproof, wide-adoption Bitcoin logo. on: June 07, 2020, 10:31:07 AM
Just leave it as an iconic one just as you said but where did you find and survey people that it's too techno, unfriendly and complicated, anything that could back up your statements? I love the initiative you made but even if surveyed whole forum I am positive they'll still love the design that still right now deemed as a classic one.

You may take a look at this list of best poker movie scenes https://www.adda52.com/blog/12-movies-with-unbelievable-scenes-about-poker.

I think on this list I've just seen the new ones like Casino Royale and Ocean's Eleven.
I've seen the casino royal poker scene and when i'm watching it before I already expect that james bond will win the poker game. I played poker too and practiced on facebook game called hold em texas poker which is a good platform to practice your skills against real time poker players without spending real money just to play.
No that about it since he was really the main character of the movie and it's not that unexpected he'll win. I think I've seen you somewhere in Acewins, I guess, about free tourney there. That's a great app since you'll play real-time with people worldwide, it is really a great app to hone your poker skills as well as Zynga app if I remember it correctly but there are still offline that wouldn't cost you data that's great too, you may check those out.
4879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg: “Bitcoin will approach record high of about $20,000 this year” on: June 07, 2020, 02:42:20 AM
New ATH - Very likely in 2021
In 2020 - Debatable!
I do agree that's it more likely 2021 as well unless there's more of accumulation right now since the pandemic is still raging on and people tend to find alternative for use like cryptocurrency other than fiat. I think we may see a drop later and coming months if we based on past halving data, $20k isn't the ideal price this year.
