As with the previous occasion in December 2019, I have placed a negative on your main account trust feedback stating that I do not trust the hacker.   I will gladly remove this negative when the account has been restored to its rightful owner.

Regards,

Another suggestion you might want to consider is visiting a paper wallet site such as https://www.bitaddress.org/ or https://segwitaddress.org/ and generate a thousand wallet addresses with the bulk wallet generator.  You put the wallet addresses into your database to show a user (eg checkout), but the private keys are stored in an offline environment so there's only the chance a hacker would add their own seeded wallet addresses.

You can even do this for donations if you want to personalise each users' experience (it's also a sort of de-facto tracking / cookie)
4863  Economy / Lending / Re: Free lightning tests on: February 02, 2020, 10:22:53 AM
The transactions were for 10,000 days and a 100 TX fee was added however the balance didn't update for a while then the fee changed to 30 and 34 says for the two TX's.
It usually takes a while to update the balance in BlueWallet (which is one of the things I don't like about the wallet), but I haven't seen it change the fee after a while. You can report it by email or Telegram.
There's also the mystery where my 100000 sat balance turned into 99999 sats, so this might be related.

that should have read 10,000 sats, but my phone just refuses to accept what I wrote is what I meant.  Also as you point out the balance doesn't update and it seems to think the pre transaction balance is still available (IE a double spend situation *might* be able to occur in the minutes/hour until the balance updates).

Accepted, welcome. Please PM me once you change your signature.

For now, I'm mostly satisfied with where the campaign is at currently. I might still accept a few more people in the near future (definitely someone active in Pilipinas) and will fill slots from applications that have already been made. If you do not wish to be considered, please delete your application post.

Thank you for the update.

Can you confirm this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5181603.0 is an appropriate use of the Flag system please?

I've highlighted in blue the portion of your quote that interests me.

Thanks.
4868  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How to connect small private pool to a public bigger pool on: January 31, 2020, 12:48:08 AM
I've just logged into multipool.us and it looks to be a shadow of its former self - very much like a Ghost Town.  I do recall they were teamed up with other pools, so the miners might have migrated.
4869  Economy / Lending / Re: Lightning Network Lenders' (and borrowers) discussion thread. on: January 31, 2020, 12:37:12 AM
What I do like about the BLUE LN wallet is that you can deposit on-chain funds directly to your LN wallet and then send them on as LN transactions.  Not sure about the hotwallet, they must have thought of that (!) and slowly / trickle feed a portion into a cold wallet to prevent disasters.

Then again, if a wallet goes offline, those funds could get put into (semi)cold storage until the wallet itself becomes hot/active again then they are on "stand-by" (or some sort of rob Peter to pay Paul set-up)

As part of my "Litmus Test" project, I'm intending to go back and demote my trade's to neutral (my recent trades with The Pharmacist I've only given as neutral and told him I wasn't looking for *any* feedback on his side).  I always wondered why BAC never (or selectively) gave out positives.  I guess he was ahead of the game in that respect.
4871  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How to connect small private pool to a public bigger pool on: January 30, 2020, 11:35:05 PM
Sounds like you want to setup a scam for the ignorant and charge them an exorbitant 10%

A sub-pool business would be some number of PH at least, not 20TH.

A scam would (theoretically) be where a pool withholds some or all of a miners claim for frivolous things such as being unwilling to or not knowing how to payout miners' entitlements for an extended period of time.

OP - do your research and team up with a big mining operation.  I've used multipoool.us, findblocks.com and even kano's pool with varying degrees of success to name a few.
4872  Economy / Lending / Re: Lightning Network Lenders' (and borrowers) discussion thread. on: January 30, 2020, 04:14:59 PM
Hmmmm yeah they don't look like a good choice. Honestly custodial wallets for the lightning network seem a bad idea unless you won't be online for 2 weeks. Other than that, you should have enough time to publish a dispute or sign a new commitment transaction.

Lightning network keys must stay online permanently so it's much less secure than a regular custodian like coinbase.

I have to have my mobile phone off at various times during the day - same for any person whose battery goes flat / power outage etc.   At some point you're going to disconnect from the network.

I did have a chuckle at the counter - the trailing white number is intended to be a fraction - which shows my age I can recall motor-vehicles having such a "feature" in their speedometer.

There's always been the capacity to mark coins with a tag that others can use to identify those coins down the road.  They are refereed to as coloured coins - I would have preferred them to be called by another name, but I'm sure alt coins hadn't been dreamed up at that time.  I haven't heard many people talk about coloured coins for a while now.

I was about to ask if anyone knew of a link for the Wallet of Satoshi APK that doesn't involve google/apple stores, but then I saw this:

https://www.walletofsatoshi.com/disclosure.html

Quote
4. Customer Credit
a) Limit of $1000 or equivalent

Topping up a Wallet of Satoshi is restricted to a maximum total of $1000 AUD. Bitcoin and Lightning balances are also included in this total. If you attempt to credit your wallet with more than $1000 AUD equivalent, you will need to contact support@walletofsatoshi.com to get a refund.

which seems to me as though they have a propriety wallet similar to Blue Wallet but more draconian.
4876  Other / Meta / Re: Complete overview of users on DT1 and DT2 and their ratings on: January 30, 2020, 03:40:36 PM
The Collectibles board keeps surprising me in the way they throw Trust and feedback around.

It's not just the selling of coins (physical as well as Crypto) where positive feedback is given out far too easily, it's also escrows themselves giving positives simply for having received then passing on funds.
4877  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing Crypto Casino on: January 30, 2020, 05:27:29 AM
Hello and welcome - I was wondering if you are going to set up a Lightning Network Node to enable users to connect to your Casino?

Just one other quick question, what does "proably fair" mean? Is it meant to read "probably" fair, or "provably" fair? (Archive [1], [2])

Thanks for reading.

Perhaps you should go back and finish reading the irfan_pak for the rest of the information provided instead of flying off the handle as suchmoon did with his "last straw" comment having also not read the whole thread.

Ok, I'll bite, since you keep bringing this up. What is this "last straw" you want to talk about?

I'm baffled why you would quote the very thing I've tried to get you to review and you claim you know not what I refer to.

There are many flags that are unsupported or opposed - the majority in fact which have not had their creator withdraw support. Perhaps you should go back and read the additional information concerning the connection that some are alts (which was proved by others, hence there aren't even 8 in total). We have seen at least two others prove their unworthyness to be on DT1 with their unreasonable posts.

Unworthiness to be on DT1 calls for an exclusion, not for a flag.

You are confusing two separate issues.

I was responding to a question concerning a flag.  If you genuinely had concerns about an exclusion as opposed to a flag, you would have voiced those concerns, but you haven't.

No charges have been laid in the Cryptopia case, so I cannot comment any further while a criminal investigation is ongoing. (make of that what you will).

I had previously given Thule multiple negative posts and had condensed them into just one post.  I have been slowly working on my entire back catalogue of feedback's as evidenced in this post where I had six feedbacks for quickseller and have condensed them into just one.  I don't expect you will have seen my various comments concerning my reviewing all previous posts to ensure they pass the litmus test, I have already reviewed ~ 400 of my 2,400 posts, (about 1/6th) so although I have a way to go I'm happy with my progress even though you didn't seem to noticed the clumping together of similarly themed posts. My feedback to you is the starting point.

humanrightsfoundation is pre-the review point.  Would you like me to review them next?

As with quickseller, I have multiple feedback posts against Lauda - some of which are before the review point.  Would you like me to review them next?

Sandwiched between these dates are dozens of other ratings which *you* disagree with - but, clearly they are not wrong - you would have said they are wrong. (QED)  You can join the school yard threads of "this is a counter to X, Y and Z's counters" if you like.  From your multiple reactions I have no doubt you do or will.
4880  Other / Meta / Re: Are the negative trusts you have given so far really necessary? on: January 29, 2020, 08:11:09 AM
Not true. I've pointed out several times to you how you were wrong, more than I can remember. This isn't exactly the thread to get into it though.

No. No you haven't. Next.
