4861  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoTycoon.net - the first bitcoin virtual economy on: April 28, 2016, 10:51:06 AM
Very neat idea, I'm going to sign up and play a little bit. It's definitely something different than those traditional casinos and dice websites.
Is it possible to test the game out with some kind of demo account? Didn't see anything about that on the website, or I must've overlooked it.
4862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks Hates Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2016, 10:47:33 AM
I know that some banks in my country are blocking payments to certain Bitcoin exchanges, I've always wondered why.
I've read some announcements about this and they say it's because they want to 'protect their customers', which is obviously a load of bullshit.

I think it was KBC.
4863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country does NOT use Bitcoin? on: April 27, 2016, 08:25:38 PM
Now I'm wondering if someone ever made a Bitcoin transaction from a research station in Antarctica?
Not exactly a country, but I would guess this is one of the few places in the world where Bitcoin hasn't been used yet.
4864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Idea for website: slither.io clone on: April 27, 2016, 08:18:16 PM
That would be a pretty neat idea actually.
Have you thought about crowdfunding this? I think there might be some interest for it if you do it properly.
4865  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: April 27, 2016, 08:16:07 PM
I would not put the entire 100k into one investment, but look at different smaller investment so you're spreading out the risk.
Sadly, I can't gave you any good tips on any good investments since I have no experience in dealing with that much money.
4866  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: HYIP: Are there any benefits? on: April 25, 2016, 05:24:01 PM
I've noticed there are a lot of hyip websites being promoted. Are there any benefits to running one? Which website(s) are the best to buy an HYIP website?
Mostly they will pay for 1 or 2 months. You will think to keep the btc for more time and then poof! they will vanish. You will always lose money, there is no way to profit from HYIP
He's talking about running one himself, not investing his money into one.

No it's not a good idea to do that, you're basically going to scam people, highly unethical and illegal.
4867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam + Bitcoin = Confirmed ! on: April 25, 2016, 05:21:58 PM
I'm very happy about this, not too long ago, it would have seemed almost impossible that Steam would accept Bitcoin any time soon.
Glad that they've confirmed it and that it's happening so soon Smiley
4868  Economy / Economics / Re: Big news for Bitcoin on: April 25, 2016, 05:19:39 PM
You mentioning Panama Papers is something that I hadn't really thought about.
I wonder if it will have an effect on the popularity of Bitcoin, if so, it might bring along new regulations in certain countries.
4869  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] ★Signature Campaign★ | Best Rates | Senior - Legendary[OPEN] on: April 23, 2016, 03:33:16 PM
Payment received, thanks guys!
4870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At no time does Valve receive or hold bitcoin, pay us in traditional currency on: April 22, 2016, 10:04:11 AM
I wasn't expecting anything else to be completely honest, most big online retailers convert their Bitcoin to fiat right after the purchase.
I'm already super excited for Valve to accept Bitcoin, this doesn't change that Smiley
4871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitSler - 100% win rate - slowly but surely on: April 21, 2016, 02:04:53 PM
Sorry, it's just impossible to achieve 100% winrate and claiming so is pretty dishonest in my opinion.
Shameless promotion for your Youtube video.

I would say he is so honest here because he is a newbie who just found the strategy that seems working for him a few times. But in fact he will realize that there is no working strategy when he lost all his money sooner or later.  Grin
Yeah I don't know why people still keep coming up with these so called strategies that promise 100% winrate.
It's just not possible in these kinds of scenario's.

4872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has died 100 times on: April 21, 2016, 02:02:01 PM
I'm placing my bets on Bitcoin having died 1000 times by 2020  Grin
As long as there are people using Bitcoin, it isn't going to die. And I see no signs of a decline in usage..
4873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bottom will drop out of the alt market soon on: April 21, 2016, 10:15:37 AM
I could see certain altcoins take a beating because lots of people investing their altcoins into Bitcoin.
But things will even out over time and other coins will gain value once more.
4874  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halvening on: April 21, 2016, 10:09:28 AM
You've made a new account specifically to come and say this?
Lol, what is the point even? Cheesy
4875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving on: April 21, 2016, 10:05:59 AM
Miners are not going to stop mining after the halving, the price of Bitcoin will rise accordingly after the halving.
I do not see why miners would suddenly stop.
4876  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: TheButton - Gambling idea on: April 20, 2016, 08:33:25 PM
I would really like to see a working site with this, seems like a very neat concept.
4877  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY WEBSITE help Me QUIT GAMBLING. on: April 20, 2016, 08:31:25 PM
I think this might work for some people, but seeking professional help should always be tried first.
But in cases where seeking professional help didn't work, this might be something that could work
4878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 1500 mBTC today on: April 20, 2016, 08:13:58 PM
I would go outside and do something away from your computer and possible stop gambling for a while.
And definitely spend less in the future.
4879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MIT ChainAnchor - Bribing Miners to Regulate Bitcoin on: April 20, 2016, 08:10:39 PM
If this becomes reality, I'd be switching to another coin immediately, I wonder if something like this will be mandatory in the future when using Bitcoin.
I can perfectly imagine the government requiring you to first register to be able to use Bitcoin.
4880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: April 20, 2016, 04:07:16 PM
Bitcoin is just way more popular than other altcoins and most businesses that accept any cryptocurrency usually only accept Bitcoin.
This alone makes me use Bitcoin a lot more than any other altcoin.
