4861  Economy / Speculation / Re: department NOCOINERY and trolls on: February 05, 2019, 09:18:33 AM
These trolls just are fed from the bearish market. From the time it disappears they will disappear as well. I don't understand what they earn from trolling really... Is it shorting or something else?

I am not sure if any troll will have the guts to get into this thread and show off... It is not a cultivated place to make their troll thrive!!
4862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lesson from the prolonged bear market on: February 05, 2019, 09:14:50 AM
Sincerely, it is not so easy with this long time dump/bear market. Long awaiting promises weakens the heart. I hope guys have learnt their lessons like when next the bull run appears you take the best opportunity and invest for the raining day. What's your lesson too?

What I learned in this prolonged bear market is that never hear what others say. I understood that is a lot of people in forums, twitter, youtube that promote some coins for their own benefit. They don't have any special sign, they just try to pump the price in order they will be able to sell at a higher price than they bought.

I started to realize that when I learnt how to interpret Graphs and evaluate them based on historical data.
4863  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: February 05, 2019, 09:09:31 AM
Of course the price of Bitcoin is volatile and this is the main reason why you must hold your Bitcoin and if possible buy more while the price is still relatively cheap. Let us consider the other side of the story, Bitcoin price being volatile means that just as it can decline, it is equally capable of rising at any point in time yielding profits to its holders. Let's stay positive, Bitcoin will certainly rise one day.

Exactly. It matters from which side of view you are seeing this volatility. There is a lot of room for making profits even in this bear market when you know how to get an advantage of the volatility that exists in the market. Of course, the market has a high level of risk and losing your money but this is all about in the cryptocurrency market.
4864  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin collateral loan under $1,000 on: February 05, 2019, 09:00:34 AM
I think it is going to find a difficulty in getting loan on fiat when you give as a collateral fiat. Crypto loan companies are limited, maybe you need to contact them in person and try to explain them the situation.

But most likely creditors here in the forum are using Cryptocurrency especially bitcoin, I didn't have seen thread in the Lending section who offered service loan using dollars or Fiat.

I found this site giving information of which company Lender offer cash and Bitcoin is collateral: https://www.finder.com/500-loans

I think there are some lenders that may give you fiat loans on paypal. I am not sure about it. But mostly the loans are in cryptocurrencies.
4865  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: February 05, 2019, 08:50:31 AM
Miracle of when this bearish market will going to be ended as we have already more than a year of enduring this market difficulty. Accepting ETF products will be considered a miracle as i believed that if ETF will be approved it will attract billions investments in the future making Bitcoin to become great again.

We are in not in need of an ETF. I agree that it is going to increase the value of bitcoin but this doesn't promote decentralization.
ETF will just make the cryptocurrency market more centralized and giving power to a few. This isn't the miracle we need, if we need any, if you only care about the price and not the adoption then you must step out.
4866  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: February 04, 2019, 06:07:06 PM

Iran Plans Release of Digital Currency With Aim to Avoid US Sanctions
Iran is soon planning to unveil its state-backed cryptocurrency, local sources reported this week. The so-dubbed crypto-rial would potentially serve as a way
for the country to sidestep sanctions, the most debilitating of which is the lack of access of most Iranian banks to the SWIFT payment system. Iran is also
currently reportedly in talks with eight countries to discuss the possibility of using cryptocurrency for financial transactions, but the local sources were unclear if it concerns crypto in general or a state-backed coin. Also this week, Iran released a draft of its crypto regulation plans, noting that some aspects of
crypto would be banned.

The news from Iran along with the news that coming from Venezuela, that there is an open military invasion from the US may increase the cryptocurrency market cap. No one wants a war in order to push the prices up, but it is a fact and can be true. We should watch the events closely as there are many variables that may affect the market prices.
4867  Economy / Speculation / Re: which way bitcoin price going? on: February 04, 2019, 05:31:13 PM
Because bitcoin is volatile, no one knows the movement of bitcoin, it can become increasingly falling or rising up and to get a profit, you must dare to speculate.

I think that if we don't see any improvement during the first quarter then we are in a bit of bad luck to see a bigger decline in the market during this year. I am afraid of the summer period especially. Not any specific clue but I have that feeling.
We need as a community to try to push the positive news of Bitcoin in the real world applications in order to attract more people.
4868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 04, 2019, 03:36:11 PM
It is greed you should be scared of. Addiction is triggered by the greed. Without greed addiction is harmless. I mean you can get addicted to read books and that's a good thing. You can get addicted to math and that's a good thing too. Addiction is a weapon. Making it a good weapon or bad one depends on you.
Addiction in gambling is different, it can ruin your life and if you are not able to go beyond that point you journey will be done. We have to understand that addiction is not good in gambling and we must take control of it, just play normally without expecting big profit do it passively and not by greed.

Every addiction is the same and should be treated in many options that have application to many different kinds of addictions. If you have managed to quit an addiction in the past with an exact way, you can apply the same to the gambling addiction and it might work. It is up to you if you will react to that or not.
4869  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Officially In Its Longest Bear Market Ever on: February 04, 2019, 12:14:36 PM
Bitcoin has officially entered the longest stretch of declining prices in its 10-year history.

The world’s oldest and most valuable cryptocurrency achieved an all-time high of $19,764 on Dec. 17, 2017 on the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index and has printed a series of lower price highs ever since, making February 2 (as per UTC time), the 411th consecutive day prices have been in decline.

As such, bitcoin’s latest stretch surpasses the duration of the infamous 2013-2015 bitcoin bear market, which spanned 410 days from its price high to low.

the full article can be found here https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-price-longest-ever-bear-market

What do you mean in decline exactly?

Bitcoin price is higher than the initial price it got issued. If you mean decline from the All-time high then ok your point is valid. But that price wasn't the real one that could describe the market in that period of time. It was a bubble that blew early with minor effects in the market.

In my opinion, we should not talk about decline. Bitcoin is 10 years old and you talk about a period of time of 1 year in order to define the "decline".
4870  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: February 04, 2019, 12:10:40 PM
Bitcoin isn't "down".The bitcoin price is where it is and we shouldn't compare it with the 2017 bubble.
If we want a higher bitcoin price,we should buy more btc and convince more people to buy btc. This is the only thing we could do(and it's not enough). The crypto whales will have to start buying.

The price of Bitcoin doesn't be affected only by selling and buying orders. If you think that then you have no idea what the blockchain technology is about and what can offers.

This ecosystem can thrive by increasing the utility and bring more users to the system. Order books in exchanges doesn't guarantee growth. But more transactions and more users do.
4871  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you feel about market regulation? on: February 04, 2019, 11:33:32 AM
There's been a lot of talk about submitting the Bitcoin economy to governmental regulation and, frankly, it scares the hell out of me. One of the reasons I'm so excited about Bitcoin is because it presents the same promise of a fully free market that cash does without all the problems surrounding a fiat currency.

Personally, I am strongly against Bitcoin regulation. I believe the market is completely capable of caring for itself and regulation would simply expand government intrusion into people lives. I can see no benefit and a lot of detriment.

What do you think? Do you think the Bitcoin economy should be regulated? If so, to what extent?

Rage

Sadly, the governmental regulation doesn't come in order to protect this decentralized ecosystem that bitcoin is the "father" of it. It is created in order to control this system and this is something that I hate of happening. This decentralized should not be regulated because it will lose its identity. I think that many of us have come to this economy to reap the benefits of decentralization and not just make another bubble economy such as the one that banks promote.
4872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 04, 2019, 10:53:07 AM
Right now the only real news is that Neymar will be out during the upcoming elimination stage against Manchester United.

Still I highly see as the team to go further PSG because of all the quality players residing in the team. The players of Manchester United do not have the capacity to overcome PSG.

I feel Neymar being unavailable for PSG will effect them mentally, while they have an exceptional squad his mere presence would have boosted their confidence. I believe Manchester United can take inspiration from David slaying the Goalith, wherein I consider Manchester United to be David. If you’re not aware then let me remind you this Manchester United is not your regular team, and the tactics they deploy change per team so bet against them at your own peril.

PSG are far better than Manchester United even without Neymar. There are still many players that can substitute his presence and win the matches. On the other side, Man Utd is of course in a winning streak and in good shape, but they don't own top-class players like PSG. It is a success that they have reached so far in the competition for me.
4873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 04, 2019, 10:40:57 AM
Addiction means your mind want something in a regular basis to satisfy the dopamine needs.

Your brain has three status of living conscious, subconscious and unconscious. In the stage of conscious your mind knows what you are doing but on other stages you may not unaware of what is happening even if you are living in it.

So if you are having some habit to make you pleasure on short term like gambling, porn or dating and other lot of stuffs will become an addiction when you want that happiness everyday. But these things is not your long term pleasure it just only meant to be short term but your mind turning it into long term by making you keep doing it very often because your subconscious and unconscious make it as a habit already since you are doing it already.

If you want quit addiction from something then you may need to change your life style and concentrate on long term pleasure like building your career or doing workouts and getting success in your business like that.

However, small short-term periods become long-term... I think that it is a bit of good advice to change your lifestyle if you want to quit your addiction. If you chance your lifestyle then you start doing things that you are passionate about and you forget things that are of less importance, in this case, gambling... There are many ways to stop gambling, you just have to be dedicated to doing it.
4874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: February 04, 2019, 10:21:49 AM
Barcelona have dominated the LaLiga title especially the last ten season , which Barcelona have won 6 titles , Real Madrid won 3 titles and Atletico Madrid have only won 1 times.
Even if Real Madrid have most Laliga title than any teams in history and just won the champions league , Barcelona still gonna the hot favor unless Real Madrid show something special in next few LaLiga season.
https://www.soccertowatch.com/barcelona-live-stream-online/

Real Madrid's star has stopped to shine after Ronaldo left. All lights are on Barcelona now because of Lionel Messi. Apart from the titles, Real Madrid was more commercially profitable all these years because of Ronaldo. If they don't bring another star in the game when Barca will dominate Spain for sure. The title is Barcelona's and I am sad to say that in February as we have still long way to go.
4875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: February 04, 2019, 09:57:15 AM
I've never had the urge; maybe within the moment, but that's what setting limits is for. If you restrict yourself to only a certain amount of funds, you really shouldn't have any problem. I know it's easier said than done though.
Time also is important while gambling because of it is an addictive thing. So we need to restrict ourselves from gambling when we are playing it based on our mind perspective not on money or time and hoping that we can earn more than what we bet on that time period.Having the clear intention is important while gambling that is not for money just for the sake of entertainment.

Indeed, if you have a lot of activities to do during your day you may forget gambling and as the time goes by the desire of NOT wanting to gamble becomes a routine and you clear yourself from this addiction. This is why experts advise to find something that you are passionate about and spend much much time on it.
4876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 04, 2019, 09:48:46 AM
Always happy when there are matches Manchester United and Manchester United finally win. they deserve to get 3 points and keep trying to enter the big 4 zone. in the current match arsenal is behind 1-0 by the citizens, if Manchester city can win the match, of course Manchester United's chances will be even greater to enter the Champions League zone. I predict that the citizens will win the match with the final score 3-1.

I grew up as a fan of Manchester United when they had a squad of Giggs, Scholes, Neville etc. Now, I really don't like this team. No one is a player that can make a competitive career. They are all middle-class players and this does make Man Utd middle-class team. I wish they had lost points in this game because Arsenal deserves more to qualify for the European championships.
4877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 04, 2019, 09:39:04 AM
I believe Inter Milan might be able to claim a victory relatively easily against Bologna today, the away record for Bologna is horrible this season in the Italian Serie A, Bologna has not even win a single game when they are playing away from their home stadium, the odds payout for Inter Milan to win the match in full time is @1.44 and I think this is a pretty attractive odds payout, I hope Inter Milan will not disappoint me today as I am placing my bet on them to win the match in full time.

Unfortunately, They have just lost the game by a lone goal which was score just after 32 minutes, And unexpectedly the couldn't find a come back, It's more disappointing that Milan had just 3 shots on target the whole match while a supposedly struggling pulled 7. Sorry you had placed a bet on them, I had them to win at full time too.

Icardi didn't score from 3 months

Roma-Milan  0-1 after 25 min
Goal Piatek all merit goes to new Milan midfielder Paqueta

That duo is to watch

Roma is in so bad condition. I really don't understand who this team plays. I see something like a Spanish spirit in the team trying to make passes all around and reach the goalpost. I don't like it at all... Italian football is strong with players with huge physical condition. After 1-1 with Milan I hope to see the gameplay to be changed and let Roma climb the championship ladder in the future.
4878  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for writers for crypto website on: February 04, 2019, 09:35:17 AM
It could be as short as 250 words but more often we'd want between 500-1000 words articles. Willing to pay from $5-15 per piece usually. But willing to talk price if relevant and high quality.

No one native speaker would even agree to these rates. You will get the content for your side but the quality will be very low. If you want to get quality content then pay some "quality" rates as well.
4879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: February 02, 2019, 06:46:27 PM
I don't know if this year has bring alot of luck to you?  It seems everything about cryptocurrencies is stagnated because of the continuously downfalls in pricing and I do believe that the only sector that is benefiting from the advent of cryptocurrencies is gambling industries . This year how much have you made so far in gambling?

This year wasn't very profitable to me. Even when I was winning and I was accumulating more crypto, the value of them was falling ending to a stagnant balance in my wallet. I used to play dice and try to earn more by gambling at 2x odds but after I saw losing money then I turned to poker. In poker I feel like there aren't all things based on luck so I have some chances to win.
4880  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptopia Hacked. Will BTC Crash? on: February 02, 2019, 11:49:32 AM
Why would cryptopia getting hacked make bitcoin crash more its already crashing so hard
Cryptopia is pretty small potatoes compared to the rest of the ecosystem.

Cryptopia was one of the most reliable exchanges that were giving the chance to users to trade rare altcoins.
It had all the fonds to affect the prices of the market if the hackers were able to steal bigger amounts of crypto. Luckily, they managed to steal only Ether and some other ERC20 alts, as far as I know, so their dump or hack didn't cause panic to the market.
