It seems like hackers and thieves who steal all the assets from the cryptopia exchange are smarter, they won't sell their assets at very cheap prices like now, they will wait until prices become expensive as they did last year and at that time they will make the price fall again because the assets of the thieves are sold when the price is high.

Of course they're are very smart, just imagine how they bypass and was able to hack and sweep all the money in Cryptopia, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are going to wait as long as they can before dumping and taking home what they have stolen.

There are reports that up to this day though, hackers are still stealing the money so I don't know if Cryptopia is that incompetent and lost access or it's just a inside job and they're trying to exit scam.

Why would cryptopia getting hacked make bitcoin crash more its already crashing so hard
Cryptopia is pretty small potatoes compared to the rest of the ecosystem.

Cryptopia was one of the most reliable exchanges that were giving the chance to users to trade rare altcoins.
It had all the fonds to affect the prices of the market if the hackers were able to steal bigger amounts of crypto. Luckily, they managed to steal only Ether and some other ERC20 alts, as far as I know, so their dump or hack didn't cause panic to the market.
