4861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I was offered to EXCLUSIVE TRADING BOT - whats that? on: February 17, 2020, 11:11:36 AM
Hi guys,
i was offered to trade through this platform.
I have no intention to do so, but would like to check credibility of the person.
Whats your opinion on this platform? And also any others? Are out there legit platforms?
I only get it on the phone via Telegraf. Nothing about found on the internet.
Fake, scam, fraud?
Don't play this game mate. Communication via telegram is not good enough to trust a person especially when there is no traceable account that can verify of his existence. Good thing that you've asking help and advice, this will help you to think and derive the best thing to do and you'll have to decline such an offer. Anyway, we can't tell that he/she a 100$ scammer because you are still in the negotiation but it is better to secure first your fund rather than to be sorry.
4862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy on Friday and Sell on Monday on: February 17, 2020, 10:16:04 AM
So this means that or even proven that Monday the price of bitcoin never fall down all the time just like what experts say here

https://coincodex.com/article/6648/the-best-day-to-buy-bitcoin-is-monday/

I think this is all been manipulated and I'd never believed that even Friday could be a good time to buy Bitcoin as well. I'd never think it was a joke or whatever it is knowing that fluctuations come around and it happens all the time no matter what day it was. Because in me, I'd never put in mind that today is Monday or Friday but as long as the price is acceptable to me, I'll put at risk buying Bitcoin.
4863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: February 17, 2020, 09:36:23 AM
Yes they have a good bounties that are worth to hold the rewards we receive from them.
But the question is how long we hold the altcoins like that, As of now they are falling down the price even do in a first bounty distribution of rewards we all witness that it was dump so much and some of them became a shitcoins. But we always participate a bounty that we are not sure it is potential bounty or not.

We hope so in this year have some good bounties comes up.
Things can be sorted out sometimes and even the real stories that most bounties are just scam but many members tried to risk and participate.
If we look in the forum, still a lot of members around wearing signature from bounty and just like you do. May it looks that bounty programs are vanishing but we can't deny that many companies will also try to give their shot by creating this and even participated as well for they are hoping that it could help and generate market profit once done.
For sometimes, some BM gives some awareness and that is "take the risk by your own diligence". It means that even them, they run projects that they are not sure if this will succeed or fail.
4864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 17, 2020, 06:51:41 AM
A lot of scams awareness online and yet, some people just ignore this. May the problem is not the scammers but maybe because we are allowing them to do so and collect our hard work money easily. Some of us feed them that is why they can't be stopped even the others do.

Stupid and lazy people will always lose their money in the end. That's how capitalism works. Cry
The situation you are describing was back in 2017.Back then, people were way too ignorant and naive about the cryptocurrency world and all the ICO,HYIP,ponzi,MLM scams were flourishing.
I hope that,at least a part of the people, who were scammed back then didn't give up and tried to learn and gain experience about using bitcoin/altcoins, crypto trading, etc.
And hopefully, they could learn many things from that. It eventually fueling scammers to scammed people if we still think of easy money and quick returns which are usually be heard from scammers. Though we can't eliminate them (scammers) totally but at least we will do something that could take them down and be starving.

4865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: February 17, 2020, 06:14:54 AM
After a long time, Ethereum price increased well but it seems they failed to keep the high zone for a long time. Today Ethereum price decreased more than 25$ and it continues. Just seen an article that Ethereum price may come to 230 to 210$, so, if that happens then under 200$ is not that far!
You really get it...Not always pumps will always happen and dumps will actually be happening soon. It is only we never know when it comes and that is why we have to be prepared all the time in order for us not getting caught into FOMO. It many cases that it happens and many was also suffering losses because they just bought Ethereum during its peak and getting bothered when it dumps. Quite anew, but this can't be prevented knowing that some holders/investors are weak and weak enough to face the challenge in the coming days leading them to sell their holding when the market started to drop.
4866  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most useful crypto trading bots? on: February 16, 2020, 11:55:28 PM
I could say trading bots can be helpful but not all the time. If we still have time to be in trading, better do it manually instead of letting bots work on us. A lot of trading bots that can be found online, some are legit and some also are totally shit. But if you have a trusted person that owns trading bots, you may have to try it but if there's no one...better not to do it.

Some trusted members here are already using trading bots and some also are selling by then. But as I said, a better to look someone can be trusted otherwise, you might waste your time for this and end up being scammed or have your trades alone.
4867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: February 16, 2020, 11:39:31 PM
As it is shown to be in good rallying point. Having another ATH is not far from reality. In fact, we live this kind of possibility and full of hopes since 2018.
We started great this year and coming Bitcoin halving seems to add hopes that everyone could either expect a huge market jump and able to see Bullrun back again in life. Quite that so early to be in bullish but the market tells something and that we need to believe with.
4868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 16, 2020, 11:02:03 PM
Yes, Bitcoin is better than Bank in many ways, like only you own the money, no nominee, nor extra fee, no rules, rather everything in your under control! But we need banks too, Bitcoin won't replace the Bank, which is just impossible.
There’s a lot of pros and cons with bitcoin and its not perfect yet to fully replace banks which I also believe as an impossible things. Banks are here for a good purpose they are just greedy and pro business. We are still fortunate that bitcoin comes into our lives and changes the way we transact, I happy that bitcoin is still decentralized and no government can control this one.
Negative and positive is a common thing to happen and it was accepted by then especially into this kind of market and knowing the fact that many we're still in the doubts about Bitcoin's capability.

But also we have to understand that Bitcoin isn't competing with banks and not the intent to do so. It was just a currency that we can use for buying stuff and bills payment or any online transaction. And the only thing that I could see of its negative effect on the banks is that people haven't used banks to store money but rather to invest in Bitcoin and keep it in digital form.
4869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 10:33:43 PM
I'd see that you don't have luck in gambling but you don't want to quit and be called a coward or a quitter.
Then, I could suggest that you have to find and play games that aren't pure base luck games. May sports betting is a good option where you can choose your team to bets with but of course, you still have to bet wisely and not just because of you know the team you also have to put a huge bet and applying leverage strategy to cover your previous losses. Coz, in this case, you are risking more and might be giving you problems in the future.
4870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IDEA for a lottery that does not depend on luck on: February 16, 2020, 10:03:28 PM
...snipped.

OP called it as not depending on luck because players can put as much as bet they want especially at the endgame while the deadline is near. The strategy is to spend money as much as they can to increase the winning chances.

In other words, it is still a luck-based game lol but with a twist.

I don't see any site that becomes a success to this type of betting meaning it's not preferred by most people. OP can still continue his plan and see if it can attract some people here.
That's the way he goes...and I'm sure that this experiment never works and people never follow what OP did. Because I'd never see any attraction to what he does and we know that winning in gambling is mostly because of having luck (less strategy) and lottery needs luck IMO. And my bad experience in the lottery tells me something that is not the right place for me because luck isn't in favor of me rather than playing card games where I can apply some strategies.
4871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good book to learn how to trade. on: February 15, 2020, 11:55:47 PM
Actually, we can find a lot of books and online trading tutorial and it seems to be all of them are quite similar to say. In fact, I only learn trading online and following the steps of successful traders. Only we need to be patient and keep accepting ideas of what some traders may feed on us. We don't need to pretend that we are already know anything because is a certain thing there is still we need to acquire which many traders are not telling by then.

We don't need to be satisfied because we already learn the basic but most importantly is to look away that could help us to farther enhance our trading skill and be successful.
4872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 15, 2020, 11:35:59 PM
This stupid thinking "Double your money in just a few days" is the reason why people keep falling into scammers. This can't be eliminated hence people are also not changing their minds. Scammers have a different approach compared before, most likely they offer huge rewards, make double or triple your money, but for now...they are getting smarter and even experts can't think that way of scam. You only just surprise that your money is already gone.

That was a sad reality and makes a reason why some of us never have an interest in crypto for knowing these circumstances and the high risk evolve in crypto.
4873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Random coin picks experiment on: February 15, 2020, 06:24:37 AM
my_crypto_list = ["ETH", "XRP" "BCH","BSV", "EOS", "LTC", "BNB", "XTZ", "ADA", "TRX", "XMR", "XLM", "LINK", "ETC", "DASH", "NEO", "ALGO", "ATOM", "IOTA", "BAT", "VET", "XEM", "ZEC", "ONT", "HBAR", "QTUM", "FTT", "LSK", "PAX", "RVN", "ZRX", "ICX", "NANO", "WAVES", "OMG", "HOT", "ENJ", "HC", "DOGE", "BTT"]

I have made a list of 40 coins with either high mark cap/ high daily volumes/ or both. I will randomly pick 2-5 coins among these 40. Did I miss anything?
All of them are in the market for many years and showing an impressive market performance last Bullrun. Choosing them randomly still be working good knowing the fact that most of them are rallying still then until today. This may work only during bullish but it could be hard when you are dealing with serious market trade cause for sure many will choose on the top cryptos rather than risking into the bottom one.
4874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this time to Sell altcoins before BTC Halving on: February 14, 2020, 11:36:17 PM
Since december 2019 bitcoin grew about 60% and Ethereum made 138%. So, to hold some altcoins during current bull run not bad idea.
As you wish...

Yet, I'm afraid that FOMO'eng will soon start when many crypto holders will sell off their coins once they saw a red color in the market chart.
This is often to happens especially to those individuals that don't perfectly shape their mindset towards crypto. Bullish could happen sooner or later and selling their coins is not really a good idea even we experience dumps along the way.

Setting up our mind into a positive one will help to keep ourselves still positive also and not overly reacted in any dumps that may happen coz that (may) the reason why you also fails.
4875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 14, 2020, 10:26:47 PM
The only thing that may stop me from gambling if all gambling sites vanishes but since it was impossible to happen, it is really hard to make it.
Though our family, friends, and relatives would like to stop us and yet, this is all just temporary. Being a gambler will certainly find a way to gamble especially when you are deeply addicted to it and especially when you know that you have luck in gambling.

That is why the number of gambling sites (online or offline) is growing. This simply means that many people are becoming a gambler rather than a badly quitters. And I don't think that many gamblers are supposed to end their life in gambling but rather to continue, maybe we could say as it's minimal spend time but not really that they stopping it now.
4876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone trading on "Decentralized Exchanges"? on: February 13, 2020, 10:27:46 PM
Hey guys.

As of recently, we've seen a TON of DEX's being released, some of them better than others.
Which ones have you used personally? Which one do you like the most?

There's so many FAKE DEX's out there, that it's laughable. Binance "DEX", Waves DEX, IDEX, and more. None of these is truly decentralized at all

Thoughts? I'd love to know what you guys trade on.  Smiley
It is to accept that even it was a DEX exchanges but whales are trying to manipulate its prices by then and that it looks centralize. Using DEX exchanges nowadays isn't really profiting and only a few traders are using it now because of trading volume and liquidity.

Please take a time to read this https://coincassogroup.com/centralized-vs-decentralized-cryptocurrency-exchanges-comparison/

Then it was clear that centralize exchanges will encourage traders to use knowing that they can make money with them unlikely that DEX can do. And with the support level that many companies put into a centralized exchange, it gives no doubt that people will look into them.
4877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't surge past 11k, your thoughts... on: February 13, 2020, 09:57:33 PM
Bitcoins all time high of this year is all set to stop according to the indication, there was a massive pump from the last week which crossed $800 in a week was really amazing from BTC. Here I will share a link where it clearly shows that BTC won't go beyond 11k. Guys kindly share your thoughts.
https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/13/bitcoin-wont-surge-past-11k-just-yet/amp/
This is only just another market speculation... If we could say that Bitcoin won't surpass $11k this week it really near to possibility but if we are saying for this year or even this month, maybe we could make it. We are already at $10k plus, a few more steps to go to reach back $11k and it is quite to see that the market keeps soaring high as it closes to halving. This is will be an indication that we gonna have a huge market jump this year...and I consider this as a Bullrun already.  Grin

4878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 13, 2020, 12:04:32 PM
Many are walking out from bounties and look for another opportunity in the forum. This may clear everyone that bounties aren't promising to look by and worth to participate with. Scam, unsuccessful project, broken promises, and no market value...it gonna be found in bounties. But I know that this thing never means to put an end to bounties because there are still a few of them trying to rebuild its good reputation.

Yes, we all felt disappointed and not to trust for new projects but we should have to think also that it will be resolved soon and change the image of crypto if we all never give support for scam/fake projects.
4879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be ETH's biggest year yet? on: February 12, 2020, 11:27:47 PM
I have to believe that ETHn will show some exciting moments this year. We could notice that it has a strong uptrend motion and that seems to be of continuous market movement. Many speculations arise that ETH will soon to Bullish and the possibility is still there.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/10/ethereum-flirts-with-key-resistance-uptrend/

Having this resistance, it is big enough to say that ETH will be having a big day in the coming days. And I would like to suggest that it is better to accumulate more ETH at this time while the market price is still low. It is one way to anticipate the market before we will run for the next level and I believe that you'll never regret of what you've got.
4880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA All Star MVP betting odds. on: February 12, 2020, 10:45:52 PM
Why there is no Russell Westbrook in the poll,? anyway, I would choose him to be an MVP as he could be a machine especially in exhibition games like this.
Russell is not the choice of the majority. Yes, he has an impressive performance but he hasn't brought much for the team than of Harden can do.
Giannis and Luka? It probably one of them who will win. Giannis did last year as well as this season but we've noticed Luka that had gives his best and outstanding performance which he competes on the floor.  And so, I gave my vote to Luka Doncic for this season.
