4861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is staking possible if the token cant be mined? on: February 05, 2020, 02:44:18 AM
It got me thinking about the wallet part. How could you store that token if there's no wallet? You mean that you will not create a dedicated wallet for it and just use the existing one?

Just like what's happening with ERC20 tokens which can be stored through an ETH address?
4862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 the year of Bitcoin technology getting accepted by governments on: February 05, 2020, 01:28:06 AM
Bitcoin will even become popular this year because of the halving. We're all catching the moment of the bull run after the halving because we have seen the moments of those years after the halving.

The governments or any company is free to adopt the blockchain that they want because there are several projects that are offering this technology. It's always a separate thing, blockchain and bitcoin.
indeed with halving bitcoin there will be a lot of news circulating about the bitcoin event and maybe it will indeed have a very good price effect but you should know that the government only adopts blockchain technology but does not use bitcoin because they realize that bitcoin has very little supply of it will make bitcoin a place of price manipulation and is not suitable if used for transactions across countries because of limited supply.
It's already on the news and a lots of call and predictions are starting to come out from these very much known, 'experts'.

Nah, govt's are free to use bitcoin too. We have services like BitPay for which they can convert bitcoin payments to USD.
4863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I can give you best keywords Google for your online business on: February 05, 2020, 12:36:00 AM
IIRC, there were posts on Services that are looking for a service like this.

You might as well offer it there and to make it even more valid, add all of your past successful keywords or jobs anything related to SEO for proof.
4864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto Earning Site For Beginner on: February 04, 2020, 05:35:54 PM
For beginners? if it's about the legitimacy, how about Coinbase's earn?

https://www.coinbase.com/earn

I know Latium and I saw YouTubers getting into that platform and probably that's why its name is becoming known but haven't used any of them.
4865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Treasure Hunt Launches on Minecraft on: February 04, 2020, 04:52:51 PM
I have the same concern about the mechanics and this is like the actual gold rush. People will rush to get the prize and this is the actual scenario that happens when someone is near to the treasure/loot.

I don't play Minecraft but with this integration, I might try it since I have time to explore the game and test it. This is what we need if we are for the games, a connection of bitcoin and other cryptos which we can use IRL.
4866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: February 04, 2020, 03:55:56 PM
I bet 10ETH if it doesn't hit...he bet 50ETH if it hit ATH. Thanks for your contribution
Good luck with your bets. That seriously is a high bet for both of you so it's 10:50 ratio.

When is your deadline for this bet? is it until the end of the year?
It's a one year bet. Next year January it will expire.
Alright.

There's one year to see if the all-time high will be met again. I want to see it because I still hold ETH but I'm willing to wait even it will take a year or two.
4867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: February 04, 2020, 12:58:53 PM

There was a time that bitcoin plummeted to $6,000 and those who have bought with that price can retrieve their profit regardless of the corrections right now.
Exactly because that was the dip during those times, well maybe last year it was $3k but from that price bitcoin have pump a lot reaching to $13,000 then it falls back to $6k then pump again to $10,000, then fall back to $7000 by the end of the year.

This year we reach $9000 by the end of January and if people are just playing games with the volatility, they can make profits many times since many times there's an opportunity given to us traders.
I still remember the $3,000 last year and I think it was during this season.

However, it was ended and that confirms that we're good and out of the bear market. But that doesn't make them believe that it's an actual bull run because they want a quicker run which shouldn't be expected. The price now drops again to $9,125.

And expect it under a little of $9,000.
4868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinomi for Desktop on: February 04, 2020, 10:59:50 AM

As mentioned, the problem has been solved by simply restarting the PC so there's no need for complicated codes or what.   Grin
yes, but it is not a good solution to reboot only to close a program!
it is nevertheless a bug in Coinomi...
I think you need to reach out the entire coinomi support so that you can let them know this bug experience that you have with their app using linux.

The easiest way to contact them is through their telegram channel.

how to close Coinomi wallet on desktop in Linux?
it is not possible to do it in some ways... Sad
This is the first time to hear about this problem. I'm not a linux user but does the force close doesn't work on it? or linux do have that kind of feature?

not a linux user too but i heard linux was complicated and they use a code to install smth  , maybe they only need to use a code to disable the app  but now i see the problem fixed after reboot  . reboot works too and its the best method to all issues , but he better check if the app runs again on background coz some app are auto run after we reboot out pc's   .   and btw this was also my first time to hear a pc version for coinomi  , did they also support windows  o.s    ?   i only use mobile version so far
No need to worry about it.

4871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: February 04, 2020, 07:17:41 AM

The support however rounds to $8,900 - $9,300.

That's a great support so no wonder we are still staying at $9,000+ now.
It's been quite for awhile, there's a small correction but it wasn't strong enough to bring the price below $9,000 so it's high time to expect a new run.
Bitcion as the halving is approaching might be bullish most of the time and those who believe on the hype are holding in a good price now which they are up already 30-40% when buying at $7k.
It actually is.

The corrections do usually happen most of the time during the weekends and we're seeing today, as usual, a red indicator on the market which means this is again another good time to buy.

There was a time that bitcoin plummeted to $6,000 and those who have bought with that price can retrieve their profit regardless of the corrections right now.
4872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: February 03, 2020, 08:37:13 PM
We can not remain in the bear market forever, moreover we need a new support and resistance level for the new year. And with all things considered everything is pointing in the direction of crypto being bullish, for example the Chinese new year the bitcoin halving  and possibly the dollar losing its value on the forex market.
The Chinese New year didn't really affected the market and it's done already.

I agree that it cannot be bearish all of the time and it cannot be bullish as well. The balancing of the market is always perfect and whenever we think that it's still bearish, actually it's becoming bullish and vice versa. A trap or not, you can ever imagine if we're actually getting out of the actual bear market.

The support however rounds to $8,900 - $9,300.
4873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: February 03, 2020, 08:04:17 PM
How much did you bet?

There's no one that has the information to know if ETH will hit the all time high again. What you need is the analysis of an expert in trading and focusing with Ethereum. I'm no expert so it means that I can't help you with this.

Hehe.

Great.

Sometimes the simplest method is the solution for troubles like this. Then, I'm glad that you have it fixed already.

4876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth-20 Token value from trade or from listing on: February 03, 2020, 10:26:13 AM
Question: are eth-20 tokens valued only from listing on an exchange or do they receive their value based on trade and transfer between wallets when bought or sold for other currencies such as pairing FLEx to USDT?
It is ERC20 tokens. Their value is depending on its own market cap.

In other words, do we need to list a token on an exchange to make it tradeable, or is it enough it was created and then traded through open exchanges such as LedgerDex?
Yes, there's no way to trade them unless it is only tradeable through p2p which can be done through ETH address to ETH address but this is very rare.

4877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bitcoin through any means. It'll work! on: February 03, 2020, 09:36:43 AM
I like the idea of making memes. I think I should also start sharing those memes that I used to see on social medias. They're really fun but sometimes out of humor that's why I'm a bit off to share it.

I might also share videos like the one you have made.

[.. snip ..]

  • Wear something that shows bitcoin - Even text, or logo of bitcoin as long as people could see it everywhere, they will surely be curious of what that is whenever there comes a time that they encounter it. Thus, making them research information about bitcoin and probably use it.

I wouldn't go that far though, you maybe risking yourself, wearing a BTC logo with you. You just don't know criminals might follow you and force you to shell out your private keys. As far as I can remember, there where reports of such incidence already (2017-2018).

So this for me its a big risk, as for a simple promotion, you can talk to your close friends, families about it. But to a total stranger? Nah. The last two weeks I was able to discuss it with someone who is very much interested because someone has told him. So we did have a lot of talk about it and last week he did buy his first BTC. So that's already a accomplished for me.  Grin
Same thoughts about wearing something like this. Especially, when you are in a crowded place and you are the only one that wears something like this, people might think that you are wealthy enough to rob becase you are wearing it on purpose. I'm not against with this idea but I think, I can't do this for now.
4878  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: February 02, 2020, 11:52:22 PM
We are planning on adding weekly competitions. Most likely separate weekly prizes for each currency.

As long as you guys are "planning" nothing will change, it is a MUST right now, any casino out there has this as mandatory feature, not a nice to have anymore, to retain customers.
Chill mate.

It has been said that they are on their plans now and execution will come at any phase now. We just have to be patient regarding this weekly competition and your demand has been heard.  Smiley
4879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun and Corona Virus on: February 02, 2020, 11:33:43 PM
We already knew him for this kind of attention. The marketing he does for his coin is always getting up to this point, I think he's also just waiting for situations that he can ride so that it would be a perfect opportunity for him to advertise.

But since this is a serious case, I'll set aside the agenda he have and be positive with his action for this time.

Exactly! Though he is really using this scenario to promote his coin but I am with the idea that he is helping those people by the means he knows of. Not all wealthy businessman has the guts to help others. Just be grateful that small or big contribution in this time of crisis is vital for those community affected. They won't care about your background or intentions as long as you are giving them help. That's all that matters.
Yes.

We just have to look at the point of view but I understand that others can really see the other side and can't appreciate the help that he's giving to the affect ones. Because it was Justin's nature from the time we've known him in the marketing scene, he's been like that.

And that kind of figure about him can't easily be removed when there's something like this.
4880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind the fall of altcoins??? on: February 02, 2020, 11:08:48 PM
It wasn't tough this January.

The year has just started and a lot of things could happen from the next quarters. You could and couldn't expect a massive pump this year if mostly you are holding a lot of coins that are totally not on the top list.

But isn't it great that we're seeing a green percentage every time we look at CMC.
Agree, it is not tough for altcoins, imo. January did happened a lot, and market has been quite stagnant for a few weeks at a certain price then later on will pump. Other alts are gradually increasing like BCH, LTC, DASH, and so on. May be you are looking deep down below among the top list. Well, some of it are having a tough time increasing but, once again, if you would look on wider scale most of alts had a great run by January alone.
I have seen people lately that are telling that it wasn't so good for altcoins right now. Like, I don't know in what charts they are looking at and can't even see how the market is rising from what it used to be several months ago.

I can say that many altcoins too are really struggling but they are not that important as the top coins that we used to invest. So, they don't really need attention if the market is rising because those alts are the only thing they see now because it's part of their portfolio.
