4861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win at roulette? on: March 28, 2021, 05:54:00 AM
This is like asking how to win in a lottery. Roullete has a very low chance of winning and sometimes some of them are rigged though I don't know if it is really true. There are instances that you already stop at the jackpot but the roullete goes one more move. This will tempt you to play more thinking that you can hit the jackpot with few bets.

For those who win at roulettes, I don't know if they are really lucky that time or there is a specific amount needed to accumulate first by the casino before they let someone win.
4862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 28, 2021, 03:42:33 AM
As much as possible gambling should be avoided because once you learned it and thought that you could make money from it then this will be the start of your gambling addiction. I first learned bitcoin gambling when I was 17 and with my 0.002btc that time I managed to make it 0.08btc in just one night. With greediness and thinking that my win streak will continue that night I continued until I hit that losing bet, I tried to recover it but I ended up with 0 balance. I could not slept for a day or two that time and I can't still forget it until now.
4863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if btc is in a bear market, can some alts still moon ? on: March 25, 2021, 10:30:17 AM
If you mean moon that will increase above 100% of its current price then I don't think it is possible unless they have some partnership with a very known institution in that field that can cause FOMO. Alts price are always dragged down even harder when we are in a bear market. Many people panic sell their holdings thinking that it would not recover in long term. After 2017's ATH, the market at the following year until mid 2020 if I remember is very low-spirited. Announcements from different projects are very seldom during those times.
4864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: March 25, 2021, 09:23:07 AM
They also predict the market just like everyone so they can either be right or wrong. Their technical analysis could not be always right because crypto market is very unpredictable. It is up to you if you will join those paid groups but from my experience, it could also benefit you because people there have the same interest as you and there is someone to guide you if you're learning to trade. Just verify if the person giving signal on that group really knows what he is doing. There are some groups I joined before that is purely pump and dump. The admin just follows the trend without a clear plan on what he is trading.
4865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: March 25, 2021, 08:44:15 AM
Bitcoin has still a lot to grow in the future. Its maximum supply has not been mined yet and too bad we won't see it ourselves. Bitcoin is still at its early stage even though many institutions are now adopting it in their businesses.  We don't even know if bitcoin as a global currency could happen. As of now, I don't see any cryptocurrency to replace it yet. The only thing I'm concern with bitcoin is everytime it reaches new high, the correction is also big. I hope volatility will decrease in the future.
4866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 25, 2021, 06:31:17 AM
I prefer to be a lone bettor and go with the team or player I think that will win. Being a competitive gambler means you have a bigger bankroll to put in gambling and I can't afford to do that at my current position. It also needs extra dedication because being a competitive one means you are into profit. Being a lone bettor is more suited for small-time gamblers like me, it is less frustrating when you don't win.
4867  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Filipino crypto users on: March 24, 2021, 11:01:18 AM

4868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are easy to trade? on: March 24, 2021, 09:51:21 AM
Ecomi or OMI token is just easy to trade now because it is one of the trending altcoins about NFTs. With the alt season, we can notice its price range to do scalp trading. Other altcoins can be traded within price range too like ADA and BNB.

But for me there is no such coin that is easy to trade. It is just because of bull season that we are able to trade smoothly and we should take advantage of it while it lasts. After this ends, most of the alts will dump again and those who really have serious projects will stay.
4869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have found a good Trading Course on: March 24, 2021, 08:54:40 AM
If you are talking about crypto trading thing, then using the link above should do, although I would also recommend you watch some videos made by trading with Rayner Teo, I do enjoy and learn alot from his videos, he's really good at teaching about trades, he explains things down to the tiniest detail, just go on YouTube type and search "trade with Rayner" you will see alot of his videos pop up or here's a link to his YouTube channel : https://www.youtube.com/user/tradingwithrayner
Goodluck.

That is where I also watch to learn trading. His videos are very interactive because he does not only explains them but he also has some kind of powerpoint slides to explain what he is saying. Though sometimes he speaks very fast, his videos are very straightforward to each topic so anyone can understand it easily. He has also some free PDFs to study more about trading. Even the people I know who are better than me in trading now, when I ask them where did they learn, Rayner Teo is always on the list.
4870  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you loose your funds don't loose the fun on: March 24, 2021, 07:46:45 AM
As they say, gamble for fun not because of profit. From my experience, if we keep chasing for profit in gambling it does not come until our bankroll runs out. But when we gamble casually and just enjoy it, the profit comes out of the blue. Gambling is a form of entertainment in the first place, it is just because there is a possibility of huge return making some people addicted to it. If many people could do what I did then maybe addiction could decrease because they won't be chasing for profit anymore.
4871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 24, 2021, 05:12:28 AM
So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?

It is really up to you if you want to sell half of it to invest on some altcoins. We can't just shill an altcoin to invest then blame us when you lose money from it. If you plan to buy some altcoins, you should research for it yourself and analyze if it's a really good project. Each of us has different point of view, like me personally since I like gaming, I invested on those projects so I can monitor it properly without forcing myself just because of high return.
4872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is why you DON'T want go short now 84% of the bearish options has wiped out on: March 24, 2021, 01:40:38 AM
It's still good to short when bitcoin correction happens just like now. We should just know the strong supports of it so we can know where to set our target profit and set our stop loss if it does not plays out. Those who were liquidated did not set their stop loss that is why exchanges wiped out their balances. Exchanges are making a lot of money from those traders. Even if it is bull season, market should have a correction for a healthy rally. New buyers will be tempted to sell their holdings because of this.
4873  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Php High Rates on Binance? on: March 23, 2021, 10:14:44 AM
~snip

4874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 23, 2021, 04:43:35 AM
Fate is like destiny, it is inevitable to happen whatever you do. Unlike in gambling, when you lose control during losses and try to recover it then you will end up with more loss. Meanwhile when winning if you lose control, the house will get it back if you will get greedy. Fate has only one inevitable result while luck is either 50/50 of good or bad so I don't really relate fate in gambling. People often justify that it is their fate to lose in gambling to lessen the pain.
4875  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bagong Crypto Trading Platform sa Pinas - BloomXapp on: March 22, 2021, 12:28:14 PM

4876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc will be 120000 USD maximum this 2021 on: March 22, 2021, 10:20:28 AM
When 2017's ATH @20k$ happened many said it will be 50k$ the following year but that did not happen. I would not set again my expectation that 120K$ is likely to happen before the year ends. There is still coronavirus pandemic and it is getting worse because of the new variants. I just hope that this won't affect the crypto market in the following months and just stabilize at 50-60k range. I also think that many holders would take profit when it hits $100k so getting at $120k would be difficult.
4877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 22, 2021, 06:58:31 AM
Good thing that there is now what we call futures or leverage trading. It is a high risk high reward type of trading but if you are really good at predicting the price and you have proper risk management, you can earn big from this. I know someone who started with a 100$ capital but everytime he trades, he only puts 1-5$ per position. With this bull market he managed to earn a good amount of money. Trading is not only a game of capital because even if you have tons of it but you are greedy then you will slowly lose it.
4878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: March 22, 2021, 03:20:08 AM
Taking profit is very subjective. As long as you gain profit from it then there is nothing to regret with that. We should not set an unachievable price for us to sell that altcoin, we don't really know if it will reach that price. We could end up waiting for nothing and our investment end up negative from that particular altcoin. What I do if I am not confident on an altcoin that I invest is once it pumps, I sell a portion of it that is equivalent to my capital. If it goes higher then that would be my profit, if not then my capital is still safe.
4879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 22, 2021, 01:33:56 AM
With fees so high, I'm wondering if big gamblers are switching from BTC/ETH to other options. Is there any data on what's being used? With limited options, what coins should a new platform consider supporting?

XRP has the lowest fee of them all as far as I know so adding this on those new gambling sites would help to attract new users. Its value is also more profitable to use to gamble than using other low fee coins. I've been using this on some popular gambling websites and you can win a decent amount from it rather than using coin like Doge where it costs many of it that is equivalent to 1$.
4880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 21, 2021, 10:48:18 AM
I already experienced this and it is really frustrating if this is the result of why you lose. There is one time I play at bustabit, the internet was fine at first so I play continuously. I was having good wins that time and didn't notice that internet suddenly started to go slow. I can't stop my bet until it was busted. From that experience, I always make sure that my internet will be fine. I usually gamble now after midnight where internet connection is fast because less number of users during that time.
