Barcelona vs Getafe game is on and from the look of things the team is more organized and probably got over Messi their G.O.A.T, am impressed with how Memphis Depay has stepped up to fill those boots left by his predecessor looking at his performance and btw his already got a goal for himself to put them ahead.
Current score at half time Barcelona 2-1 Getafe .

The match of the day is Atletico Madrid vs Villarreal! The last meetings between these clubs ended in a win for Atletico or a draw! I don't think Villarreal will be able to beat Atletico today either, as they have been playing terribly lately!
By the way, the odds on Atletico are 1.8... Easy money! Wink
Villarreal and to the same competitive team we use to know unless otherwise I expect the defending champions to win this one in front of its fans.

Bamford pulls one back to level the score, it's Burnley 1-1 Leeds,  with the continued pressure of Leeds could this game end in a dramatic fashion....

Ronaldo is not injured. He is rumored to be playing next game for Manchester United. The medical will take place today or tomorrow and then he will be registered.
News has it that Ronaldo has an arm injury and this was while he was still playing at Juventus.

The 36-year-old took a blow to his right arm after a challenge from Alex Sandro and was accompanied off the pitch by members of Juve's medical team.

Leeds United v Burnley lineups are out

Leeds: Meslier, Llorente, Cooper, Struijk, Ayling, Dallas, Phillips, Rodrigo, Raphinha, Harrison, Bamford. Subs: Klaesson, Cresswell, McCarron, Shackleton, Forshaw, Summerville, Roberts, Costa, Gelhardt.

Burnley:Pope; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Gudmundsson, Brownhill, Westwood, McNeil; Barnes, Wood

Leeds must win this one but from the look of the lineups and see this game raining with goals, prediction Leeds 3-2 Burnley.

I don't think Watford can beat Tottenham today, I don't think they can even score a single goal against the home side...
Teams considered the weaker in the Premier League are the ones that usually put up the biggest and toughest fights and this could be what we should expect, a tough match.

The past few months has been bad for several exchanges as hackers continue making them the target, this is sad news for the exchange, hope they can coordinate with other exchanges so that if hackers try exchanging those coins for other coins they can be confisticated and returned to the true owners. But is it possible to move a large amount of coins without someone authorizing the transfer of coins.

Willian will become a Corinthians player in the next 48 hours after walking away from his Arsenal contract

The Gunners have been unable to attract suitors for the Brazilian midfielder this summer because of his huge wages.

Sources close to Willian insist that the Brazilian "wants to do the right thing" and is set to "walk away" from his contract, with Arsenal potentially saving £15-20million due to the early termination.

With how things are going at the Emirates no player would want to stay but they sure need to come up with a solution and fast.
4866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 29, 2021, 07:11:47 AM
Just catching up with what happened yesterday and I see we have a surprise result, Juventus lost their home match to Empoli by one goal to nil. Could this be because of the Ronaldo effect? Hard to say but looking at the stats of what transpired you can see that Juventus threw everything they had at the game, they had over 20 shots at goal and enjoyed more ball possession, but unfortunately the day was never going to be theirs...Hope they move on and find their feet to win games.

Team lineup for Liverpool and Chelsea

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Elliott, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Thiago, Keita, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Jota, Tsimikas.

Chelsea (3-4-3): Mendy; Azpilicueta (c), Christensen, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Alonso; Havertz, Lukaku, Mount

Both Teams looking strong looking at the fielded sqauds and its anybodies game for this fixture and honestly I won't be putting any money on this game, too toughto call.

Everton just scored their second goal via a Dominic Calvert-Lewin penalty  , but what was that about fighting for who takes the penalty or not and Richarlison didn't look happy that he wasn't given this opportunity of taking it,the lad was visibly fuming. I guess these responsibilities should be clear cut to avoid such from happening. Otherwise Everton look like the will be getting a clean sheet and comfortable win this afternoon.

Wow, Man City certainly showed who was master of that match...
I hope they don't slow down along the way as they defend their title.
4869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: August 28, 2021, 03:11:41 PM
I feel we should be bullish about the market, remember a high of about $65k was set and low of $29k was also made making this the current price range, but because we are closer to the high...a break of this high will affirm this bullish trend and we should be on the verge of making new highs of the market.

With continued government intervention in the crypto environment, things actually look like they are working in favor of bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies which is another confirmation of market being bullish.

Todays laliga fixtures

Celta Vigo vs Ath Bilbao : I see a possible stalemate in this one, likely  1-1 final result

Elche vs Sevilla : I don't know but I just like Sevilla and think they are a stronger team, predicted result should be a 2-0 win in favor of sevilla.

Real Sociedad vs Levante: Sociedad should get this one, that home advantage to left their spirits and be the motivation but it will be close, prediction 1-0 in favor of Real Sociedad.

Real Betis vs Real Madrid: these fixtures have a tendency of upsets but Real Madrid remains to be a power and Benzema should lead the team to a win.

This match between Manchester City and Arsenal was over even before it started, we all know that this was what was coming..
Honestly Arsenal is really in a bad place right now....they just cannot compete at the moment, and a real overhaul is needed to fix the team otherwise don't expect a win anytime soon for the gunners.

Score update: First half and Arsenal is already down by 3 goals to nil and you know it's a good day when you see players like Gabriel Jesus scoring and creating goals ,it doesn’t get any easier than this. Tbh with how City is playing Possible 5 nil hammering is on the card, see you after the first half.

4874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you want to quit trading ? on: August 28, 2021, 09:02:21 AM
Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?
Unfortunately trading is a skill and journey that demands a lot of time and patience to perfect it and sadly we want to be pros after watching a few YouTube videos and the alike and once we apply these new skills and it doesn't work out we want to quit and abandon the trading journey....this is not how this works!

Truth of the matter,, When starting off to trade on real accounts, you will lose money, get emotional and with time experience will teach you how to handle all these different scenarios and move from losing trades to being a profitable trader.
4875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2021, 08:53:59 AM
Borrowing money to invest is something I would consider as doubling your risk and not being weird about it.  We all know that  these are volatile markets which can go either way for your investment but if you have an asset that you can afford to let go and have the money that's a better option so that you have a piece of mind and avoid other obligations of finding funds to payback especially if it has a payback period attached to it.
But if you are a strong believer and don't want to miss out you have to do something to get funded, get a loan or something.

Starting from scratch to develop an application might have its own bugs and will take some time to perfect as you need to test and not rush the proces. But if you don't mind using third parties to accept crypto payments for your platform try coinbase  commerce link here https://commerce.coinbase.com or Bitpay which I think is much easier to integrate in your platform, check link for more details https://bitpay.com and good luck mate.

ROLANDO'S EFFECT ON WALL STREET!

Cristiano Ronaldo's return boosts Manchester United stock 8% on Wall Street! A day after opening at $17.38, the new transfer news spiked the share price to $19.09, meaning the club’s market value increased by $298 million. The craze has just begun, and more is coming....
Everything is lining up to benefit Manchester United and Juventus will feel the absence of the contributions of one of the best players of this generation.
In the short period of time of announcing this move several things have happened for the club or himself such as:

  • increased followers on their social media platforms ,numbers are in the millions
  • wall street shows Manchester United stock price has jumped
  • Ronaldo's jersey sales seems to have gone up
  • and of course those of us that play fantasy sports he looks like a must have in a squad
4878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 27, 2021, 10:09:16 PM
Which Ronaldo are you talking about? If it is C.Ronaldo then he's off the market because the deal between Juventus and Man City for his transfer back home(Manchester City) is done ...

You must be referring to Manchester United, or did you sleep over the past few hours?

Meanwhile, news from ManUtd's IT department:
"Manchester United website crashes after club confirm Cristiano Ronaldo transfer agreement" Grin
source

Traffic overload!

This transfer wouldn't have been any better and with fans returning into the stadiums I expect jersey sales to increase and possibly more ticket sales to follow suit. The prodigal son is back just hope he can get the results to help United win some silverware and break some records like he usually does!

So as you may know Ronaldo left Juventus for Manchester for a deal of around 25m €.

A strange fact happen while we have official statements from Manchester we have nothing from the Juventus side, don't you think is strange?

Maybe it will happen after I will post this message or this night but it seems strange to me.
Maybe they are already feeling the pressure of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving and failing to contain the pressure but sooner or later they have to break the news to their fans.
4879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: August 27, 2021, 05:31:06 PM
Those who advocate hodling, when do you cash out?
When price was low as in below $10000 it was easy to target x5, x2 ,x10 as this was possible with the high volatility of these assets....now price is high and entering the market today would mean targeting a cash out at $100,000 which is far fetched if it's a personal investment but if this is treated as an investment for your kids holding for several years should be possible and x2, x5 should be within reach

I mean, dying hodling is not the plan, is it? Eventually, you'd need to enjoy the fruits of your patience, right? When is that, when someone says "hodl"? Is it a savings plan? A retirement fund? What does it mean to hodl?
Savings plan is a better wording for it.
4880  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BetBTC Sportsbook is shutting down. Please withdraw the funds before 1/Sept/2021 on: August 27, 2021, 05:19:47 PM
Another gambling platform closing shop, could this be because of a the growing competition or it's an issue of regulation and for your own information old gambling platforms hardly implemented this KYC requirements as they believed in anonymity...anyway they have run their race.

Quote
Our platform will remain online until 1st September 2021. You should withdrawal any remaining balance as soon as possible, until 1st September 2021

Thanks again for choosing to bet with us.
I don't know when the announcement was made but i think the sportsbook should have given people more ample time to be aware of this development and withdraw any funds on their account. Otherwise time frame to which users funds will be forfeited to BetBTC is too short!
