Brotherly you are right because know one is exempted not to comment in any board, because the boards and topics determined the capability of the person to response to chat.
So looking at everyone suggestion their all right,if you take your time to read all the comment in this thread.
4882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie - Members. Join here and take some merit on: August 27, 2020, 04:44:46 PM
I really like these, because this is one of the major concerns that trigger or motivate peoples who lack focus  and motivation to wake from sleep.
At least newbies will speed up in order to be making quality posts and quality comments.
Thanks bro I like your motivational encouragement towards beginners and members of bitcointalk community.
4883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merit on: August 27, 2020, 04:33:26 PM
You need to maintain quality like quality comments, posts, topic, etc. If you maintain this you will get merit. And one more thing you need to research bitcointalk also. And make sure that don't copy anything and don't buy merit, rank id. Because If u do that u can not learn anything. This forum is an income source platform and learning platform.

In the end, You have to be honest.

You are right bro,maintaining of quality post and comments is one of the major concerns that gives merit, because I understand that know one gives merit because of familiarity in forum, merits is base on hardworking and research which attributes a quality post in general.
4884  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lazarus Group campaign targeting crypto thru LinkedIn on: August 27, 2020, 04:18:41 PM
I guess the moral here is that if you are currently employed in any job that is crypto related, like a system administrator or a support, you better hide your employment history because the risk is really very high that you are going to be targeted as the weakest link. Just like what we have seen in the Twitter account recently.

Why will the person in question hide employment or appointment letter.
Does it have any effect, please explain categorically
So that can comprehend  it and put it as a working document to avoid any future hindrance via obstacles.
And employment opportunity.

4889  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: August 27, 2020, 02:49:19 PM
#4 Bitcointalk Poker Series is real!

I am happy to announce that our 4th Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC is happening and it's coming soon, very soon! Cool The first qualifier will already be played on this coming Sunday. SwC is once again our host and and adds the following prizes: 0.05 BTC guaranteed Freeroll for the Finalists, BIG BTC Ticket worth 0.01 BTC, 0.01 BTC guaranteed Runners Up Freeroll  & a SwC Flexfit Hat!

The qualifiers are already live in SwC's tournament lobby - I have already received all passwords and will share them with the regulars shortly. Even the Runners-Up Finale has already been set up. Wink

I feel the lottery was a nice addition and so the rules and conditions will remain the same as in season #3. Below you can find all the information regarding Series #4.

See you at the tables and let's see how many players (and new players) we will be attracting this time around, so spread the word please! Smiley

Index

General Information & Series Structure

The Bitcointalk Poker Series sponsored by SwC Poker can be joined by any interested poker player with a Bitcointalk account. If you don't have a Bitcointalk account yet, feel free to make one. We would be happy, if you engage in discussions about the series and/or Poker, but it's not mandatory. We welcome players of any skill level, any age, any gender, any colour. The tournaments will be played on Sundays 5 PM GMT.

The series will feature 8 qualifier tournaments, a Grand Final, a Runners Up Final, a lottery and hopefully lots of fun and suckouts. There is an internal points structure, where you accumulate points to qualify for the Grand Final. Every participation will also give you tickets to the lottery. If you are a regular player, you will automatically qualify for the Small Final.

We play Texas No Limit Hold'em, the starting stacks are 5,000 chips, blind levels are 10 minutes and there is no late registration available.

You might also want to join the Bitcointalk Poker Community Server on Discord: Join here.

The first three series:
Series #1
Series #2
Series #3

Entry Fees & Passwords

The entry fee per tournament is 1,400 Chips or 0.0014 BTC.
1,000 chips you pay for registering for the tournaments directly at SwC.
400 chips you send to the SwC account "youcantwin" via P2P transfer. 200 of those chips go towards the prize pool for the Grand Final, the other 200 chips towards the lottery.

There are no entry fees for the Grand Final and the Small Final.

The tournaments are password protected, you will get the passwords via Personal Message (PM) in this forum, after you have sent the 400 chips per tournament to youcantwin. If you intend to join all 8 qualifier tournaments, it would be helpful, if you send all extra fees (3,200 chips) upfront.

The Qualifier Tournaments

A total of 8 qualifier tournaments will be played inside 8 weeks, Sundays 5PM GMT. If possible, register as early as possible, since there is no late registration available. Just send 400 chips to youcantwin, get the password and register for the tournament for a fee of 1,000 chips.

Q#1: 08/30/2020
Q#2: 09/06/2020
Q#3: 09/13/2020
Q#4: 09/20/2020
Q#5: 09/27/2020
Q#6: 10/04/2020
Q#7: 10/11/2020
Q#8: 10/18/2020

Internal Point Structure

To determine who will qualify for the Grand Final, we have an internal point structure, where you get a number of points for each tournament, when you finished inside the Top 10.

10th = 1 Point
9th = 2 Points
8th = 3 Points
7th = 4 Points
6th = 5 Points
5th = 6 Points
4th = 7 Points
3rd = 8 Points
2nd = 9 Points
1st = 10 Points

If two or more players have the same amount of points after 8 tournaments, the average finishing position in all tournaments participated will be the tie-breaker.

The Grand Final

The 9 players with the most points from our internal point system will be eligible to play the Grand Final, which will take place on 08/23/2020. You will automatically get registered for this tournament and don't have to pay an entry fee. As in the past, SwC is sponsoring 0.05 BTC among other things for this tournament and the 200 chips per tournament and participant from the qualifiers will be part of the prize pool as well. This additional prize money for the Top 3 will get sent to you via P2P transfer on SwC.

1st: 50% of Prize Pool + BIG BTC Ticket worth 0.01 BTC & a SwC Flexfit Hat
2nd: 30% of Prize Pool
3rd: 20% of Prize Pool

The Small Final

Every player who joined at least 2 of the 8 qualifying tournaments, will be eligible to play in the Small Final, no matter how many points they accumulated. That is in case both Finals will run simultan You will receive a password for this tournament and don't have to pay an entry fee. TBD: I prefer only players to participate in this who have not qualified for the Grand Finale.

The date and prize money is TBA.

The Lottery

To give anyone the chance to win some money, we introduced a lottery for the third series, which will be funded from the extra fees you send to youcantwin. With each participation you will get 10 tickets for the lottery. For every point you get via the internal point system, you will get one additional ticket. So if you played 6 tournaments and accumulated 18 points, you will have 78 tickets for the lottery. If you played only one tournament and did get no points, you will have 10 tickets. Etc.

After those 8 qualifying tournaments, the draw from a trusted member will take place via a random number generator. Each player can only win one prize from this lottery, so if you win a prize in first draw, the rest of your tickets will get voided. The number of prizes depends on the amount collected for the lottery. For every 10,000 chips, there will be one prize. If the total pool is 18,000 chips, there will be two prizes of 9,000 chips each. If the total pool is 24,000 chips, there will be three prizes of 8,000 chips each. Etc.

The prizes will get sent to your SwC account via P2P transfer. The date of the lottery is TBA.

The Spreadsheet

You can follow and monitor all happenings in the spreadsheet: Bitcointalk SwC Poker Championship Series

If you have any questions or find any mistakes, feel free to mention it in the dedicated threads or PM @efialtis or @tyKiwanuka.

Miscellaneous

If you paid extra fees upfront, but aren't able to participate in a tournament for whatever reason, the extra fee will be considered a donation, unless you request a refund. You won't get any tickets for the lottery, if you don't participate in a tournament, even if you donate the extra fee.

Any dispute should get resolved via majority decision.

So how can someone participate for the game if the person develop interest to join.
Some really need the protocols before engaging into it.
I really love the price for the winner and their even paying with bitcoin.

INTRODUCTION

Global adoption, recognition and acceptance of cryptocurrency will be the best thing investors, traders and bounty hunters in crypto community will be happy about. However, the linear relationship between cryptocurrency trend and scam strategies can not be separated. This activities are widely carried out on social platforms and most commonly one is Telegram.
Telegram is an open source message app where projects raised community members for easy interaction and update everyone, these range from normal projects of many coin on markets cap and crypto exchanges.
With this App, You can interact and send message to a non contact member that's why it's easier for scammers to penetrate and prey on some innocent and naive members.

Common Telegram scam
After many encounter and research, I have come to realize that as crypto trends changes, so as scammers changes their tactics on how to hunt your money  and coin. The commonly ones are:

  • Telegram exchange support
  • Daily Investors and advisers
  • Telegram Bot
  • Trading Signals
  • Escrow scam
  • Api scam

Telegram exchange support: You will always come across this set of people in every telegram exchange group, they are always impersonating the admin.
They often used the same name as the admins of the group by changing their names and similar usernames.
Be careful, there is no any exchange support on telegram, admins can only help by forwarding your ticket only which you must have created on the exchange. Don't give out your login details such as emails, username and password outside the exchange, they will rip you off, of your hard earned fund.No admin will ever pm you on telegram, block them instantly the moment anyone come to your pm.

Daily Investors and company advisers: you will always find these annoying set of scammers in every telegram groups, they will come to your pm, telling you to invest in some shady business, there isn't nothing like easy business or profits. This is where you find cloud mining scammers, dont fall for this cheap scam as most cloud mining always results to exit scam. You can do more research on how innocent investors ended up with loss on cloud mining.

Telegram bot: This is another form of telegram scam that has been going for years, it's always a waste of energy referring your friends and foe to a bot that promise to pay you Ether and Btc. When you finally reach the point for withdrawal, they will request you to make deposit small amount of Ether or Satoshi before you can make complete withdrawal of your referral. Don't fall for this, I know it's a small Satoshi but imagine thousands of people fall for this, that's cool money for one cone head bastard scammer. There isn't free money even in free town.

Source List of telegram scam bots

Trading Signals Group: This one is general, you will come across them on bitcointalk, how they offer free signals, when to buy and sell and also provide some premium service for VIP members. They often show off their profits and PNL and how easy it's for them to make fortune on trading. Avoid them as plague, no trader is 100% accurate, you can learn some trading skills on YouTube for free and Udemy for just a token and help yourself on trading.

Escrow groups: we sometimes found our self with some coins and tokens that require KYC on some exchanges before one can trade them, while identity verification is very tough on some exchanges, this coin can be sold to anyone but you must avoid some third party groups.
Check service and lending board, you can easily locate good and reputable escrow on bitcointalk, their Trust and merit speaks for them.

Api scam: Avoid unrecognized Api services that aren't recommended by your exchange, if you must use Api on third party App, contact your exchange support if their services are legit and secure.

The present problem is that scammers have different device to operates,their always search for new methods to deserved people in order to obtain their money or coin.
Everyone have to be conscious because it's easy to scam people currently.
4895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to add icons to the title of a post? 🚀 on: August 27, 2020, 05:57:53 AM
Yes, only copy-paste is the way to add emoji in your title. This forum only provided few standard emoji, as you can see when you want to create post/thread.

@OP this, or you could also add emojis if you’re on your phone, and if you use Windows 10. Just hold the Windows key on your keyboard and press on the .(dot) key and an emoji list should appear:

Nice one you have break it down to lay man understanding,what you just is called, theory and practical,and it's the easiest way to make someone to understand that's to show that you are  good tutor.
4896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good sections for newbie? on: August 27, 2020, 05:47:28 AM
Op I suggestion that all newbies suppose to penetrate to all the board to study the method of posts and know how to create  nice topic,but the problem is that going into different board will enable newbies to know suitable boards them can be able to respond or comment on topic.
All these are avenue for beginners to master the system without with looking for external help.
So I recapitulate by saying that newbies are to comment in all boards in order to comprehend the rudiments of the forum.
4897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for a book on: August 26, 2020, 10:43:47 PM
Hello I am not looking to reinvent the wheel but I would like to get a book that could teach me enough about crypto that I could fork btc and tweak it, I don't want to make a public alt coin I just want to have a better understanding than I do now. I want to be able to look at an alt coins code and understand if it's good or bad coding etc....all the books I seem to find are about what blockchain is and bitcoins history, things I am more than familiar with. Thank you in advance.

To study about cryptoccurrency is not bad rather I will enable you to the Cranium's of cryptoccurrency in general. But many steps are in your shoulder to accomplish your target or dreams.
Before you study cryptoccurrency network or system you have to devote out time to make a proper research and proper investigations concerning the branches of crptocurrencies you want to adventure into.

Go to bitcoin discussion board present your matters, genius in cryptoccurrency will respond positively

4898  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why don't more people invest in btc? on: August 26, 2020, 09:26:28 PM
I'm wondering why the general population hasn't yet caught on and started investing in bitcoin. These days people seem to be willing to immediately invest into the stock market, but not into any cryptos, when it has such a large potential in the future. Why is this the case?

Because peoples have noticed the benefit of cryptoccurrency, and people refer to invest in cryptoccurrency now than physical investment because crypto investment is more secured than Manuel business.
Cryptoccurrency is decentralized know one is regulating it.
That is the reason people are rushing into it.
4899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the cheapest way to transfer money from Coinbase.Pro to Binance? on: August 26, 2020, 09:06:43 PM
Hi

I am looking for lowest fees when transfering money from my Coinbase.Pro to my Binance account. I just made a test transfer with BTC over 5 USD and I paid 0.31 USD fees. I want to transfer 500 USD, which would then make 31 USD I have to pay for transaction fees, is this calculation correct or is it getting cheaper the higer the transfer amount?

Is there another way to pay less fees while transfering from Coinbase.Pro to Binance? Maybe using another crypto currency?

Regards

First you have to compare it with previous transactions you made with other platform's to know if the charging fees is higher or not,because I know that charges in all cryptoccurrency transactions never remain constant.
4900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to help all people on: August 26, 2020, 08:58:00 PM

I am happy to live in Bangladesh. Many people do not know what cryptocurrency is actually a digital currency. I am trying to teach them all with my experience hopefully they will get better benefits.

It's obvious that thousands of people don't have the basic idea of cryptoccurrency, and some who heard about also tag it as possible means of scamming people, op you are not mistaken by saying such.
Most especially people in rural area don't have the basic concept of cryptoccurrency.
I believe that cryptoccurrency will dominate the world soon.
