4881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: August 22, 2019, 10:44:59 PM
It's because they are new and they don't want to lose what they invets. They grow impatient when there is no return for their investment due to lack of knowledge about how the project goes. Most often, being impatient would eventually lead to a loss of investment rather than gaining from it.
Will have to understand that the next generation is different from whom it started. People's attitude will change and as well as their behavior, and this is a reason also why we have a big change in the market flows. However, it makes the market alive and the volatility remains at high which is our chances to generate more gain as this new batch of investors are most likely are weak hands.
4882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 22, 2019, 10:29:02 PM
Bitcoin is very unique and we can't see any coin that could bring greatness more than enough that Bitcoin can do. That is why new coins are called altcoins cause that is only their place to be.  If we look at its price, we will see a huge gap between them and making them totally separated.
This is just like in a certain community, there is a leader and that is Bitcoin a leader among cryptocurrencies.
4883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 21, 2019, 11:14:08 PM
What else is new? Team USA will just dominate this again. Giannis with the Bucks can't win the championship in the NBA. And his team mates in Greece won't be better than the Bucks. Unless USA won't have their top 5 players on board. KD and Klay are injured. Curry won't probably play. Leonard, PG and Irving will be busy creating chemistry with their new teams.   Cheesy

This is the list of the team USA Roster.

Harrison Barnes
Jaylen Brown
Joe Harris
Kyle Kuzma
Brook Lopez
Khris Middleton
Donovan Mitchell
Mason Plumlee
Marcus Smart
Jayson Tatum
Myles Turner
Kemba Walker

That's a good line up, maybe not a star level of Lebron, Harden, or Westbrook, but these players can ball, they are young and hungry to win their first championship in FIBA.
4884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 21, 2019, 10:56:23 PM
One of the best secrets is just getting all the money you want to bet together and just placing one big bet.  IF you win just walk away, over time the more you gamble the closer you will be to the expected odds which means losing money.
That is an interesting secret because not only win will make you walk away, because if you only make one big bet then by getting a losing or winning result, you will still walk away. So the secret of that is self-control to realize the right time to go, regardless of what you get in the bet.
Even if you win and walk away, it's expected that you will again come back tomorrow to play because you miss winning but not everyday is your lucky day.

The most important in gambling if you want to bet big is to stay consistent, you can only bet big if you have a big bankroll too, make sure that your bankroll will last longer and you will end up profitable in the end, it's impossible to win all the time but you can win most of the time with your consistency and that will make your profitable and I believe we can only do that if we are focus and realistic at the same time.
4885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 21, 2019, 10:42:59 PM
Joakim Noah vs Dwight Howard as replacement for Boogie, who you got?

I'm with Noah. Although he doesn't put up the same number of rebounds/points, I think he plays better off the ball. Lebron and AD will surely get most of the ball and Noah can help out opening the lane.
Whoever of the two will do well for the Lakers as they will be just there to help AD and James. I got a feeling that Howard or Noah will improve on their game once they got to play with AD and LBJ because they will became the recipient of the passes once defense will collapse on the Laker's superstars.
In terms of the energy they can bring to the floor, I like Noah for that matter, but for overall skills, there's no doubt, Howard is better.
Noah was popular when he was playing with the Bulls together with Rose, and Lebron and Noah had a history in the past, they seem to don't like each other, you can watch youtube videos about them, so I don't think if Lebro has a say, he would choose Noah against Howard.
4886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bullrun time is the best time to trade on: August 21, 2019, 11:30:39 AM
You can trade in all all market bull or bear, Bear market usually lets the big guys to earn and most of the small players lose. That's why they are called hamsters,
Not if you are smart, we can be the small players but we can think the way the big players are thinking.
In bearish market, most small traders loss because they panic, and we know that whales are smart that they can move the price using their holdings, and we should never get affected to that because if we know what we are doing, we understand they can do that any time they want.

If we are not confident trading in bear market, we should not force ourselves, the market does not stay in one condition only, eventually, this market will turn into a bull one and although there are some price dump, but we cannot call it bearish but just a correction which afterwards, crypto price will go back uptrend again.
4887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How people fund their Sportsbooks on: August 21, 2019, 11:10:27 AM
I prefer traditional privately funded sportbooks and the reason is simple, they look more serious this way compared to some other sportbook who only accept tokens. If a sportbook offers both the traditional way of a real coin and token based betting should be the solution to each road anyone want to follow.
Same here, I enjoyed betting on sports book that accepts more stable coin like BTC rather than a token.
To be honest, I don't find it attractive for tokens to be use in gambling especially if the token is not a stable coin, because its value will affect the decision of most gamblers, we have to remember that gamblers does not need to be an investor at the same time and majority of the gamblers would just prefer to increase their money by winning and would not care about the possible increase of value of the coin.

When I was still new in crypto, I learn gambling first, every time I deposit gamble and win, I made sure I will cash it out at the end of the day.
4888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 21, 2019, 10:37:25 AM
By looking at his previous opponents, I think he has a lot to prove and I think Donaire has a shot of beating him, but let's see what comes up in 7 Nov 2019 which is the schedule of the fight, again in Japan.
Donaire has definitely a shot here. We all know that during Donaire's prime nobody can't touch him in the bantamweight division. Also he no longer the same Donaire we once knew, but with his experience he can definitely upset Inoue here.

Donaire knows how to read his opponent in the first few round and then adjust. So this will be like a chess game. If Inoue fought not moving his head, Donaire will take that opportunity and expose him with his left hook.

The old Donaire has long been gone. While I hope that he comes back, at least with his bout against Inoue, the reality is that it may be unlikely. The former, once touted as The Filipino Flash, has become slower with age. And considering that he is basically a counter puncher, speed is very necessary. Outside counter punching, Donaire is like a one two puncher, constantly looking for a knockdown.
That happens when a boxer is aging, but Manny is different he was older than Donaire but was able to beat an undefeated fighter.
With the recent win of Manny, I hope that will inspire donaire that fighting a younger opponent is not a problem if you have the confident to beat him.

What I like here is just the odds really, I'll definitely not hesitate to bet on Donaire although he seems like no chance of winning based on experts opinion.
4889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting feature at exchange on: August 20, 2019, 07:32:11 AM
If the purpose of adding gambling feature on an exchange is just for fun, .
They put a gambling site for one purpose, which is to be profitable.
Although they will say that, "hey, play for fun because this is for fun", that doesn't mean they mean it because at the end of the day, they still make money since they always have the advantage, in short, they are adding that feature to maximize their income.
4890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beauty Contest Gambling on: August 20, 2019, 07:18:11 AM
Anyone here tried to gamble in some Beauty Contest? Just like Miss Universe.

I do, in fact I won my bet on the recent Miss Universe because I put my bet on Catoriona Gray to win.
IIRC, the odds that I get was around over 6.00, and I don't put a big amount actually as there's a lot of contestant and that gives me a little chance of winning, but thanks God I was lucky to win.

I don't also bet in other beauty competition, only when we have a representative in our country as that's more exciting, and in fact this kind of betting is just more on entertainment, can't take this seriously with the odds they offer.
4891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 20, 2019, 06:58:51 AM
The last thing the lakers need is someone clogging the lanes.  Stats aside they only tell one story, I wouldn't take d Howard, it will only hurt the team.
Good point, but Lakers did gave Javale McGee one of his best seasons in the centre position and even he didn't hurt the Lakers because they have plays design for him to score by just throwing the ball to him in the middle for a alley-oop. So I guess there will be plays similar for Howard in Lakers to help them score. Besides, Lakers is not a outside scoring team, cutting the middle and fast breaks will fit Howard more.
One thing to consider though is that Howard is not McGee in terms of movement and willingness to take rolls. I bet Javale doesn't mind whatever type of play he's asked to do or how many minutes he gets.
McGee is good but he is not as dominant as howard in the inside position, when Howard was still playing with the Magic, I think that was the highlights of his career, this guy can fly and eager to play physical inside, but  many the injuries he suffered has made him lost his confidence, but if he will be playing with Lebron, the best player in the earth, I think he will be more motivated.
4892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 19, 2019, 11:27:24 AM
I started gambling with fiat through playing card games, poker to be specific. Then eventually, I've done playing lottery, betting, and slot machine. It's quite difficult to gamble with fiat since it's being taxed, thus the government has a cut from your winnings. Good thing I've been in crypto. Since I started gambling with my BTC, I was able to play more games through different gambling sites without paying government texes.
That's the big difference too and with BTC or crypto that we use in gambling, we can do it anytime we want because it's 24/7.
Also, in crypto, the minimum amount is very cheap so it gives an opportunity for small time gamblers to play and enjoy and that's one of the reasons why crypto gambling has growing steadily.
4893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 19, 2019, 11:16:15 AM

They still lose their games even at the position of being a professional gambler. I was funtunate to associate with some gamblers and know pretty much in their ways of life, they are risk takers and not professionals like we thought, they lose often but ready to take any risk to take back their loses, this makes them differs from us the regular gambler's.

Of course, because they spend most of their time in gambling and they are very ambitious.
Well, professional gamblers does not have to win all the time, they just need to win most of the time so they can be profitable.

I admire those sports bettor who are really good, I've known someone, an online sports betting, and he advise me to have a decent bankroll if I want to be successful as that's the only way we can seriously take what we are doing.

Typical gamblers usually does not have a decent bankroll, and they don't manage it well, professionals are different, they have their own and that bankroll in intended for long term purposes or up to a specific period.
4894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 19, 2019, 11:05:58 AM
Update on some NBA players.

Jeremy Lin:

He could be on his way to China and play with the Beijing Ducks.

Since there is no team that wants to sign him in the NBA, this is a wise decision for him. He can still play the game he says he love and still get paid. I hope he gets it.

Dwight Howard:
There's a chance that he'll be playing again for the Lakers since Cousins is already out due to injury.

Howard is going to be a great addition to the Lakers.
They need a Center like him and if they sign him they will be a competitive team for the title next season.
However, I wonder what would be the case when Cousins come back from the injury.

Actually both cousins and Howard are now prone to injury, the last time I saw Howard playing was with the Wizards but he only played limited games due to injury and that was one of the reasons why Wizards miss the playoffs last season.

Now, if he will go with the Lakers, he could be a great addition but he should be healthy to be able to do that.
The last time he played with the Lakers, he does not have a great stats, IIRC, he was playing with Nash that time as well, of course with their captain Kobe.
4895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 19, 2019, 07:16:58 AM
Will he can be the next Manny Pacquiao? What do you think about Inoue ?
I think he has a good start in Boxing compared to Pacquiao, and he can improve more and being a heavy hitter is already an advantage to him.

Manny Pacquiao started to be popular when he starts fighting in the US, in fact his first fight, he was just a replacement IIRC but he upset the champion by TKO so he got noticed by the fans.
4896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 19, 2019, 06:52:04 AM
I don't think there is a secret on gambling for them to win. It is either they are just lucky enough to win on a day, there are some instances that there is some other day that we are also lucky but in some other ways. Maybe not in gambling but we may not notice it. Being lucky is also a big impact for us to win in gambling in my opinion. 😁
There is no challenge if we think that only luck can give us a win, with that said, I don't think spending time analyzing our method would still matter.
Actually there are games that gamblers think they can win, and that belongs to the skilled based games, the name itself tells that if you have the skills, you can win consistently, and that is the key to be successful in gambling but it's hard to find a perfect recipe since every gambler has a different way to implement its strategy.
4897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning bitcoins is against the law on: August 16, 2019, 08:46:19 PM
What it makes these lawmakers are that they just like to protect their people. They know already the risk of crypto investment but I don't think that they could stop bitcoin users or investors, only they can do is to spread awareness for its high risk.

This is very funny. Law is something that is created and modified by the "lawmakers" (i.e the members of parliament). They can interpret in whatever way they like. Some of the laws in India are self-contradictory. For example, the constitution guarantees equality to all the citizens. But still the government has introduced affirmative action in educational institutions (up to 75% in some cases) and jobs, based on the caste and ethnicity.
They created a lot, some of them are just a contrary to what the others have made before. Actually, not only in India but also it happens around the world.
4898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 16, 2019, 10:40:11 AM
when they get used to playing gambling, I think it will be difficult to get out of it, especially when they make it a place to make their money.

Well, if they can really make money in gambling, there is no reason to get out, unless you want to take an retirement,  but that's too rare as it's hard to win in gambling and when you win, it's just like you are making an easy money and you want to do it all the time.
4899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 16, 2019, 10:06:21 AM
First, you need to choose a game that there is no house edge so you have a chance even if you gamble for so long, luck based games are not design for gamblers to succeed for long term as they don't give us a chance, our only way to win is when we are lucky, but rarely happen.

If you want to be successful, you need to focus on skilled based type of games, like sports betting, this is very popular and less stressful since your job here is just to analyze a certain game before putting your bet, it's also important to focus on games that you watch and you know, that way it will give you an idea and you can make a strategy that you are confident of.

If you already have the skills in choosing the right team to win, or the right player to win, you then build your discipline that you can follow the game plan all the time, be consistent and you will reach the success in time.
4900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH 2.0 will cause FOMO or FUD? on: August 16, 2019, 09:54:40 AM
It`s already causing both things, FOMO is missing a chance to buy ETH now when the price is low, and FUD because many people are talking negatively about ETH 2.0.

That's not happening, FOMO will only happen when price of ETH is pumping and we haven't seen that yet.
If the ETH 2.0 is something that could create some hype, then probably there will be a FOMO, and until that happens, we can't say there it's already causing FOMO.
Even with the recent price pumping of ethereum crossing $350 and when it started to decline in value there is strong FOMO. Same as that will happen when the ETH 2.0 gets established as scheduled. Without doubt there will be growth happening and this will get turned to be FOMO while there is small scale fluctuations rather than FUD.
I understand what you are trying to say, but the way I look at the market movement since years, I've seen more FOMO when the price is rising than when it's dropping. There are only a small percentage of the traders who are really smart to see the price is already dipping, the others just ride with the flow, they usually follow what majority think that's why manipulators are very much successful with their job.
