4881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IDEA for a lottery that does not depend on luck on: February 12, 2020, 10:15:31 PM
I really don't understand how it works coz when we are talking about the lottery, it is all about luck...we don't need to apply any strategies or even doing things to increase our chances of winning because there is nothing unlike with the other games.

We call this a lottery game and not any prediction game...And I am sorry to tell you also @OP that even prediction will work on you but not actually it helps you when it comes into lottery unless you will create your own lottery site and you can manipulate the results.

4883  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 11, 2020, 10:32:57 PM
The only lackings I see in bitcoin is its too high withdrawal fee. Almost every exchange takes such a huge fee for bitcoin transactions. I tried in several exchanges and was shocked because they all are asking 9-12$ withdrawal fee! What do you think about this issue guys? Why are they asking this high fee?
Many exchanger have their own withdrawal fee.But most of the exchanger withdraw fee is high, only few reputed exchanger withdraw fee is low.Hitbtc, yobit and many exchanger charged more than 0.0012BTC,which is more than 12$.Thats why I love to trade in kucoin, binance.there withdrawal fee is lower, around 0.0005BTC.But I always try to exchange my btc to ltc,to avoid higher fee.you can also try this method. But Nothing to do about higher fee, because they will not reduce the withdrawal fee.Otherwise you should avoid those exchanger that ask higher withdrawal fees.
Yeah, it is really disappointing to see but if you don't have any choice, you'll going to sacrifice some bucks for this thing. Anyway, it won't get bothered if we will transfer a huge amount but if that just of a small amount, it feels not right and not really acceptable to our end.

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/lowest-cryptocurrency-exchange-trading-fees-list/

Fees could be sometimes considerable and traders would like to save some rather than to pay fees. But it also important to look for reputable exchanges rather than to consider most for a withdrawal fee.
4884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 11, 2020, 10:01:15 PM

If the project will ask its holders of the token to copy-paste their private key in order to send  tokens, would you look at this as a fair project that the team won't be looking into the private keys of its users?  They even have a video tutorial on how to decrypt private key from the config file of their wallet that was installed in the phone. I'm not sure if this is something I would trust when private keys are suppose to be just for private.

Ever seen such project before where before you can send a token to another wallet, you will have to fill your private key first?
Ahah...in that case, it looks like you are giving them a chance to control your wallet and possibly to empty in just a minute.
That it looks a smart way of scamming and if you are also a fool, then you have to give your keys. But I think you're not and you shouldn't have to deal with these people or even have a communication with them cause the more you will talk to them, the more you are dragging their attractive words to manipulate your decision.

You can actually give them the wallet address but not the keys otherwise, you are just simply giving them a chance to scam you.
4885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin Cross $20,000 By the end of 2020? on: February 10, 2020, 09:52:50 AM
We'd like to see bitcoin's price reach to $20k within this year but if we could notice how the market moves, it actually been hard to reach for that amount. If we could recall last 2017, there is an amazing trend but the price never touches to that certain highs $20k. Well, this year could be some sort of excitement and full thrill but I'd never think or even very optimistic that we are able to touch $20k.
4886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Bustabit) How often do long streaks of red come? on: February 09, 2020, 08:58:19 PM
The round is randomness, why you still thinkin about after red must be green?

Too many people seem to believe that past results are an indicator of future occurrences.

This is exactly why anybody that doesn't have at least a basic understanding of probability or mathematics should absolutely stay away from any type of gambling.

Otherwise, they're just going to get rekt eventually. Know your game BEFORE you play, not AFTER.
That is a common mistake for new gamblers ( that bolded one). That they actually believe that gambling could be some of sort mathematics calculations, making winning patterns and use in gambling is not actually it works but some gamblers did it.

Definitely, here in gambling there is no 10/10 winning streak and it might happen that 0/10( that is near to possibility). This is means that luck is much needed in gambling to win not that mathematical calculation.

4888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy only bitcoin or take chances in altcoin casino? on: February 08, 2020, 10:18:39 PM
A simple poll to know if every person in this speculation subforum has a similar attitude in trading and investment as they had on 2016 and 2017.

The bullish sentiment is back, and traders have been placing their allocations on their favorite blockchain projects. The question on most investor’s minds is which coin will have the biggest payoff? Is it Bitcoin, the largest coin by market cap, or smaller cap Altcoins?

Read in full https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-vs-altcoins-which-will-make-you-more-money-in-2020/
Altcoin could somehow have a chance and to be more profitable than of Bitcoin "if they are going to the moon". But the question is, are they still have that looks without hypes? And the answer is they don't have. Altcoins still relying on Bitcoin's future and its trend, if Bitcoin will rise the more it become profitable. We live in this thing for many years and altcoins never meant to have many achievements than Bitcoin.
4889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: These crypto investors are outperforming the market on: February 07, 2020, 02:58:28 PM
Truly, I'm not familiar with these things and I think also that most traders never use these strategies as well or if there is, it only be a few of them. For causal traders (just like me), they just often used simple techniques and basic trading (buy low and sell high). But it doesn't mean that we could never generate profits or it maybe we are profitable compared to them.

And just like the other says, we can't be performing well all the time, it is also be depending on the market flows that our strategies will work well.
4890  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm trapped in trading on: February 05, 2020, 07:47:53 PM
How many of you traders on here are trapped when trading bitcoin on exchange thinking it will fall again?  Grin anyway I'm one of them, all I have left now is Stable coin hoping I can buy back when price goes lower again, do you think the price will fall again or keeps surging?
It's either of the two suring or dumping. But as we notice the current market flows, it eventually changes into a positive outlook that bitcoin price may surge high instead of getting down IMO. I believe halving has a huge market impact and yet, it is already been noticeable at this time. It could be more pumps maybe will occur as we are getting close on that launch date.

Well, its either be this year is bullish or bearish again and still, we have to accept the reality. Crypto isn't controlled by someone and prices may varies depending on the market demand and supply.
4891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next price in XRP on: February 05, 2020, 05:18:35 PM
It is a big surprise when we saw XRP soaring at $5 for this time. Apparently, XRP has never been looked at that stronger enough to be valued that amount knowing the reason that its price can be manipulated. And by looking now its current position we could say that reaching $2 is already a miracle to happen. But being 3rd in a row on the market volume we can't deny that many investors are giving their trust and confidence that this coin could help them either.
4892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 05, 2020, 03:33:53 PM
I am really thinking about investing over $15000 of my savings into Bitcoin. Would this be wise? Is BTC safe and stable at this point and this time?
It can be of a good decision but since you are new to this environment, it is better to start at a small amount until such time that you are knowledgeable enough with the market situation. I'm not supposed to give you some worries or even doubts but I just say will serve you as a warned that crypto investment is not as easy to look by. Difficulties, losses, and gains might happen around and the question is, can you manage your emotions to face these things? That is so hard and I can't imagine soo many people would try to invest crypto but later on, they started to vanish because they certainly not know what is happening most especially when we are in the bear season.

4894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Facebook, Telegram, KakaoTalk- LINE is coming in crypto! on: February 05, 2020, 03:00:23 PM
Social Network giant LINE is coming in crypto with their own coin, the ticker will be LINK (LN)! Line coin will be trading on Bitmax exchange in April 2020. This is really a great news and now I assume all the giant social network will have their own coin like the Reddit coin, VK coin and so on. So, do you see a crypto adoption because of these? Lave your comment, guys.

News source: https://coinspace.com/news/exchanges/messaging-company-line-commence-link-trading-japanese-exchange-bitmax
Maybe it was great but not this time until it is proven to be great and not just like Libra which it turns into nothing.
For this system, adoption is not all about having big names and known to everyone (just like Facebook) but matters on how it proceeds to the market and SEC regulation for farther investigation.

We don't want to end LINE shortly for its journey to crypto and could say that this is another shitcoin coming to town. If they could provide the needed requirements for SEC regulation, then they'll be fine and may investors will consider for this but if not, then it is no other just like Libra.
4895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading app? on: February 05, 2020, 01:15:31 PM
I've started my trading journey at Etherdelta, yet it wasn't a satisfying place to stay and so I've to look another and fall into Bittrex. May Bittrex did good things before but it actually changes when the market exchanges competition arises. But I never feel really disappointing to that and not even bothering me a lot in order to try another one.

And so until now, despite some negative feedback that Bittrex has I'm still loyal to them and currently using it when I have to trade.
May newcomers would like to look at this https://www.ubuntupit.com/best-cryptocurrency-exchange-platforms/ for their reference.
4896  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: February 05, 2020, 12:26:19 PM
In fact, it has reached a peak of $ 9k6 in recent days but it has been trampled again. It seems that it is still too early to make big pumps. but I am sure that more and more people will be ordering bitcoin at $ 9k1 and $ 9k2 during this time. so a correction will be but it doesn't adjust too much. It seems now is the last chance for us to be able to buy bitcoin for ever. This halving will certainly have many other large whales involved because there has been too much political and economic instability in the past. The value of bitcoin and gold in 2020 will surely have a strong growth.
We can just be cleared enough to see that the Bitcoin price will continue to move higher without dumps on its side. In many times that we have this market fluctuation and isn't new for us by then. For that simple fluctuation, it means nothing to put a big deal on it. If the market price could manage to stay at its level today, it is no doubt that we can make more highs in the coming days. Maybe we should be thankful that whales never sell their Bitcoins at this time and so the current market momentum will never stop.
4897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 05, 2020, 05:34:21 AM
Both processes and outcomes really matter for gamblers, especially for the lottery game. It is better to see its transparency in order to have a reliable outcome. People would come to that place because they actually know how the game played on and how the result generated. It is about trusting someone who could also trust you back. Because putting our bets is simply we trusted that certain game without a doubt that the result could somehow be manipulated. And the fact that it happens already in some gambling sites, that is why we have to assess also how this particular gambling site it works otherwise, we just lose our money.
4898  Other / Meta / Re: MY PERSONAL TRAD on: February 04, 2020, 10:23:21 PM
Only the optimistic person could think that crypto trading will work amazingly in the future and even professional traders never think that first until crypto become know globally in the market. It somehow to think that big things come from a small thing, and that is how crypto being started.

At first, I'd never appreciate it honestly. But the moment has come and crypto links some interest globally and started to engage by then. It is really not to have a good start and absolutely it never works smoothly but its all be work on and make it right. Only we need to find ways and put some effort coz everything went possible if we work on it.
4899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: February 04, 2020, 09:25:26 PM
If that certain exchanges listing shitcoins, it reflects their image and becomes shit exchanges as well.
It is all about the money that brought these shitcoins into a place that nothing will give some interest to look at. Investors are now picky into what project, a platform they'll going to put their money. And of course, nobody would take the risk of investing those coins that never have market volume.

Moreover, being listed is not the assurance of getting benefits from it unless there is a buying and selling event happen, and what it means that this project is alive and meant for good.
4900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TEMTUM (TEM) BTC Pairing has more volume than XRP, IOTA,TRON and more on Liquid on: February 04, 2020, 08:26:12 PM
https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/liquid

The TEM/BTC pairing has more volume than the Ripple (XRP), Hashgraph (HBAR), Tron (TRX), ZCASH (ZEC) BTC pairings

A good sign on a regulated exchange like Liquid where wash trading is impossible unlike other exchanges

With these volumes + the news about a national currency - TEM to a dollar ?
That was impressive and this signifies that this project has someplace to stay in crypto and not just being ignored by the investors. But I don't want to think also that the increase of its trading volume might because of hypes because that will only lead for your project to sunk in the future. Thus, if we are going to be appreciated well and recognize by many investors, see to it that there are no hidden plays with the volume or in the market price.
May transparency means a lot rather than seeing in an increasing volume but after in few days, it's gone just like the other projects..
