4881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 million BTC wallet on: March 21, 2021, 03:51:27 AM
Why would you want to know who it might be? If there is really a single person that holds this huge amount of bitcoin then it is normal to not tell it to anyone. If he exposes it to the public, many hackers would attempt to steal his bitcoin in many ways. It could put not just his life in danger but also to those who are related to him. There are many reported cases on other countries that are related to this and they go to the extent that the thieves physically harass the victim just to give his bitcoin and the bitcoin they try to steal is not that big. Imagine if it's 1 million, trusting anyone would be difficult even if it is your relatives.
4882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find best Airdrops? on: March 21, 2021, 02:59:54 AM
Airdrops are like a lottery for me. It is really hard to tell which of them are the good ones and which will give you good returns. I don't often participate on airdrops especially if it requires KYC. I only participate if it is from trusted sources like safepal's airdrop now. They conducted an airdrop before and some of my friends earned a decent amount of money that time. If someone is interested on that airdrop, I will link below their twiiter announcement of that.

4883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did people buy bitcoin and other cryptos back in the old days? on: March 21, 2021, 02:04:53 AM
Like around 2011 to 2015? Before it became available on major exchanges?

I found out about bitcoin wayback 2017. But from what I heard to others, during this time there are many faucets that gives bitcoin for free. Earning 0.001btc is very easy that time so I think only few people bothers to buy it. And since it was not that popular that time, there is no reason for buying it. I think MT/Gox was the popular exchange during that time until the hacking incident happened in 2014. Many bitcoins were stolen from people and these reminded the crypto community to not store their cryptos on exchanges.
4884  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: March 20, 2021, 06:38:50 AM
As far as cryptocurrency investments go, profit from investing on busta* sites was almost guaranteed, compared with other places (e.g. buying shitcoins when they're cheap, defi, etc.), where profits can exceed 1000% (against BTC, more against USD), but the risks are also extremely high.
I have not tried to invest in any gambling site but based on the journey of some people I know, they really made profit though it takes time and with a little amount. So I agree, it is somehow less risky compared to investing in coins that has no concrete basis to say that it can succeed in the future but I guess this is only for new coins sprouting since they dont prove anything yet.

Every investment has its own risks so it is up to us how we diversify our streams of income. I already invested on some altcoins and looking forward to investing on this so while I wait for my alts to grow I have a passive income.

Is there a minimum amount to invest on these gambling websites? What are the platforms that are good to invest my money? What are the cons when you invested on it?
Answers will be highly appreciated.
4885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: March 20, 2021, 03:47:11 AM
Bear season is where bitcoin does a massive correction just like what happened in 2017 and it lasted until mid-2020 if I am not mistaken. Bitcoin already tripled its ATH last 2017 and many altcoins now are also increasing very fast. Mass adoption is happening so I think this bull season will last for a year or so. A small correction or dump is normal because it retests the support, if bulls are strong enough to hold it then a new ATH can happen again. Those are also testing the new adopters if they are strong enough to not panic sell and for others to be a buying opportunity as well.
4886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Bitcoin Giving on: March 20, 2021, 02:52:17 AM
It's pretty obvious that these twitter giveaways are scams so I don't know why some people still fall for it. Even if it's from a famous personality, if it requires you to send a specific amount first or ask for the private keys of your wallet then it is guaranteed to be fake. Those giveaways have a ridiculous amount to give so it is really too good to be true to fall for it. Legit giveaways are not that big and if it is, it's divided to many people.
4887  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gigabet - legit or not? on: March 19, 2021, 03:26:32 AM
Checked the website now and they are on maintenance. I'm not familiar with their platform but based on the other replies here they've been doing maintenance for a couple of days and they even require KYC for their users. Platforms like this are really suspicious, maintenance should not take that long if they manage it properly. People should avoid this type of platforms, there are many good gambling website out there that are very reputable and very active on announcements or answering the queries of their customers.

4889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site for esport? on: March 09, 2021, 02:48:17 AM
https://nitrogensports.eu/ and https://www.cloudbet.com/ are what I can suggest because I've used those platforms before. They are also now a casino so you can play a variety of games while waiting for the result of the game or esport you've bet on. They've been running since 2016 if I'm not mistaken so I'm confident that their website is secured well. What I'm not sure is if they require KYC now because the time I used those platforms is you can withdraw any amounts anytime without hassle.
4890  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 08, 2021, 01:38:54 AM
Poverty can be eradicated with the current working system retained, anyone who says otherwise is clearly not thinking their words through. One thing to note, the top 1% of the richest people on this planet can eradicate poverty all on their own, with still millions to spare, top this with livable wage, and job and education opportunities, and everyone can have a chance at securing their lives without being in debt, living in substandard conditions, or literally in poverty.

If they do that, is it guaranteed that no one will be poor anymore? There are some people that prefer to slack off on their home waiting for the government's help rather than finding a job to help their family. If all will be given a chance to finish their study in college, will all of them find a good-paying job? Some will still fail to have that and end up being an employee that will only earn the minimum wage of their country. Poor people will still exist. Poverty can only be eradicated if all will have the same mindset as those rich people have.
4891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often are people really hacked out of their BTC? on: March 05, 2021, 07:30:16 AM
I've started in this world of bitcoin way back 2016 and I've never experienced getting my crypto wallet hacked. As long as you secure them properly like enabling 2fa, email verification, number otp and you don't share those details with anyone then there is a very low chance for you to be hacked. Also, be observant on the links you are clicking, don't fall for some cheap phishing attempts that say you will get a guaranteed amount if you will just provide what they want. This is the common cause of many people getting hacked of their wallets.

4893  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: March 01, 2021, 06:01:41 AM
Rich is subjective. There are some people that we see that are living a good life but they don't consider themselves rich. Once you reach a certain point or let's say your first million, you would want to have more and realize that it is not enough yet. What I can define rich is people who are born privileged. They can buy anything they want without worries, they have unlimited amount of wealth that their parents do not work but their money earns money. I don't know if someone like this exist, even people like Bill Gates still go to office to manage their company.
4894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: March 01, 2021, 04:18:22 AM
* If I many ask what is the major reason while some countries ruling class ban bitcoin transaction?

Because they have no control over bitcoin and it can also be used by some criminals on the black market or to do money laundering.

* What is the negative effects using crypto as currency?

I see no bad effects on using it except if it is banned on your country.

* what harm does bitcoin contributes a country that can lead to ban?

Like I said on your first questions, criminals can freely do any bad intentions using bitcoin leaving no trace. Their image or reputation to their people and to other countries won't be good if an issue spread about that incident. This could also result for other countries to ban bitcoin.
4895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Musk Again & Again Tweet for Doge? on: March 01, 2021, 03:12:05 AM
He is playing with his influence. He is testing if a crypto or anything related to his tweet will suddenly pump. I just don't get that there are so many crypto out there to shill why would he choose doge where it has an unlimited amount of supply and no use-case at all. People are FOMOing to buy that coin not knowing what they are getting into. When people with large holdings of doge starts to unload, people who bought at peak price will surely lose money. He did it for many times and people still fall for it but now I think he stopped tweeting about it and some people already learned their lesson.
4896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: March 01, 2021, 12:51:34 AM
I will suggest to do both. My plan now is to invest the 50% of my capital for a long term portfolio of some altcoin then do trading with the remaining half. Then 30% of the profit from trading will be added to my long term portfolio. There are many altcoins that I didn't noticed that is popular now. Like ADA and BNB, last year they were just cheap and now they are in the top 5 of coinmarketcap. People who bought them cheap are very lucky and enjoying the gains they have now.
4898  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang dahilan ng btc pump (tesla) on: February 28, 2021, 08:37:09 AM

4899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential of an altcoin on: February 28, 2021, 07:33:29 AM
Not all altcoins can increase more than 100%, OP said he already gain 600% from the price he bought so I think it is a good time to sell. Don't think that it will go up more because the more you think of it, you forget when to take profit. You will just realize that when you start to sell that you will only gain less than what it was before because your mind keeps telling you that it's just a small correction and it can still go up more. If you are still confident that it can go up then sell only a portion of it then find other potential altcoin to invest.
4900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me what to do now! on: February 28, 2021, 06:57:39 AM
Can you share with me some upcoming news which may help me to grow my funds fast? Or you can share your research too so that I can pick one shortly in my list to invest next.

Investing to a good project does not guarantee you a return in a short amount of time. Some good projects take time like 2 years for their coin to be noticed and became popular. There is no such way to grow your funds quickly unless you stumble to a less than a dollar altcoin then suddenly it doubled after a month, but how can you know that or what altcoin would make it possible.

Currently altcoins are giving impressive returns so you can easily make an 100% return of investment if your research properly and some luck on your side. The other 50% in bitcoin is like an insurance at incase the altcoins market crashes you have something you can rely on and also incase bitcoin spikes you stand on the winning side

It is also carried by bitcoin's rapid increase imo. If bitcoin dumps, altcoin goes down faster and the loss you have is bigger because some alts can easily do 30% correction or even more if bitcoin dumps continuously.
