Bloody hell, I put a live bet on Monaco at 20th minute, just a small, rather ambitious thought behind it. And then they score 5 mins later and then proceed to just rub it in PSG's face. Problem was odds were "only" 3/1 -- 5/1 or more and I might have been tempted for a more serious bet.
As a Liverpool supporter, feel a bit sad to see Wijnaldum just wasting away at PSG. So ineffective, playing him in such inconsistent selections and then out of position (to my mind).

Did you guys also receive a Formula 1 free bet through email? If so, what's your pick?
For me, I didn't know which market to go for so I just went with Lewis Hamilton Top 3 @2.80, at first I was planning to go for Verstappen outright winner but it's way too low for a free bet.
Neither did I haha. I'm pretty sure I've bet on F1 specials but I don't recall putting a regular bet on SB so yeah, don't see why I should start getting freebets for those. Today I have THREE insurance freebets -- as last night settled final legs for me (Atletico actually for all 3!) so I was already at a loss on how to spend them all before they expire on Tuesday -- so one live one on Monaco 3/1 (and they scored 5 minutes later), one on West Ham 56/10 and one on a Wolfsburg win and over 7.5 corners at 38/10.

@buwaytress unfortunately for you Villa lost, and as I said earlier it’s very difficult to explain what happened to them because prior to this game they were playing really well, and from now on I think people should consider wagering on Arsenal because they’re only getting better and better. Also I’m really excited for F1 race to begin because it finally looks like Ferrari are back, and now I can’t wait for them to compete with Hamilton and Max, so what are you’ll predictions for the race day?. Yeah, no biggie, Arsenal was on my other acca tickets (and my prediction in the SB EPL pool) anyway so it was nett benefit for me. Did you join the F1 pool on CLS63's thread? It's not too late, race starts in 2.5 hours'; you'll only miss the point from Pole position prediction and you can pay later. Itching to put a wild podium finish on Alpha's Tsunoda, but not for Bahrain. He only needs to do it once to get it in profit if the odds stay the same all season (80/1++ atm).

Yeah as pooya87 says. You can't really educate I feel, it's just off-putting.
Do it yourself, get others to see you doing it. Or, always offer to pay or get paid in Bitcoin. That's the only way I've ever managed to get people to start using Bitcoin -- giving them a discount if paying me in Bitcoin (that makes it worth their trouble). I took a cue from Arnhem (Bitcoin City) merchants, who give deep discounts to customers who'll pay in BTC. It's financial incentive to get them to try it, and then who knows, it gets them hooked... and THEN they start asking questions and then the education is delivered as requested.
Can't force-feed people learning, I've found.

^No harm. I actually put a small bet on Alcaraz ML on fiat bookie, odds wasn't as great as I thought (2.3+) but I'm sure crypto lines would have been much better -- couldn't be bothered to try access my crypto accounts as was on the road. Didn't even realise conditions were like such and Nadal probably had some fluke in weather to thank (as you said, probably suited him more).
Fritz Nadal, straight set win for Nadal or Fritz handicap the way to go I guess?

Wasn't Blockfi already in hot water recently for embezzlement? OR a hack of some sort (and again, every time a company says they've been hacked, feels to me like an easy way out to explain missing funds). Already settled fines from regulators, guess they're still finding it hard to escape scrutiny.
Methinks this serves a dual purpose: take away the attention from the scandal to try and out-SEO negative search results for Blockfi, and to also lay the finger of blame elsewhere for when the next exposé comes out, so they can say "oh, that must have been the fault of users who didn't change their access credentials when we told them it was leaked".

Think the history of money takes different versions, depending on what you view as money. I know these days there are people who consider karma points and similar arbitrary "internet points" more valuable than any recognised legal tender. And while I don't, I do "get it".
There's also some very interesting stuff out there on the history of today's version of fiat too which I thought was very interesting (and perhaps relevant to some Bitcoin discussions) tied to the time post Bretton Woods when the dollar (and thereafter fiat globally) was no longer backed by any underlying asset.

I'm stupid why I do not bet when I have the ZEN meditation moment.
Hey, good to see you here. Not really one to bet on F1 much, but I do need to pay attention to your zen moments. Especially if they'll involve Tauri as I'm getting a tingle for them this season (note, I also got the tingles last season!). Prediction pool type any interest to you?

And those predictions that you put in are for next week. This game week is no.30 and we have only 4 games due to FA cup. Game week 30 is not even available to pick on Majestic 7. I'll wait a week and then try to remember to play it with max info Yeah, I saw that and wrote it earlier up there, but I went ahead and locked in my picks already (pity as Saka scored and he's always on my MajSev ever since Auba said byebye) and I'm not sure he can follow it up against Palace, they require a different type of attacker but anyway. Actually am hoping for a final round of 4+1 once the final international break's done. Looking to end the season with plenty of league football and that promo's always been good to me.

Trofo man, any tips for who drops points tonight? I already put in my traditional bets but for small money, and they are both my picks for today in here. But I already lost my day's acca on Alaves (haha) -- I've been doing really "well" these last couple of weeks getting insurance on accas almost every day, but I'm well aware that's poor performance as I should have hit at least one to make up for it. So thinking of what sweet spot to look at. Southampton could actually be golden, but odds aren't even fair for them. Nevertheless! No way Union Berlin score first at keep clean sheet first half, and no way City concede and can't score when they got Liverpool breathing down their necks, right? 100 units at Fairlay on Union Berlin to WIN at HT vs Bayern Munich @12.51. Other odds: 11.80 100 units at Sportsbet on Saints to WIN vs City @10.02. Other odds: 9.30 Units advantage: 71+72=143 Running advantage after 120 bets: +13156 (+143) All-time cumulative: +81,562 Running units after 118 bets (14W|104L): +1328 (-100) City is playing Fa cup so they don't really care about LFC tonight. I hate playing cup games since they tend to finish with draws way to often. Maybe just my feeling. I am on tennis today since football does not look like value. Check my last couple of posts in tennis thread for details but I am favoring Alcaraz tonight. Against a guy who did not loose this season. Crazy, right? Not when it comes to you. Thanks. Am going to hrow my hat in later today on that. Need to get my 'crazy bet' fix today and Union already forgot to show up.

Anyone got LeClerc in pole? He's on my podium but didn't expect him to pip. I went rather for gut and put in podium finishers -- surprisingly, practice results were all in the right order. Bad sign for the real thing? Well, what do you know? Another pool for me to pretend I know what I'm doing Hahah nice one, mate. I will be joining the pool too. @CLS63 scoring in superbru seems alright and it's easier for the participants to check it on there. Feels so good to see the same familiar bastards coming in for the fun. All eyes on football for me so far this weekend but I'll definitely pop in to see some bits if it gets interesting. My kid's actually much more interested in F1 than anyone I've ever known, so maybe he can tell me if my first week's picks were shite.

Boro should be extra fired up after Chelsea's abortive attempt to request for a closed doors game so falling behind to Lukaku shouldn't get them down. Match is a bit as expected so far, the chances falling only to Chelsea, even if they Boro did get the only 2 corners of the game so far, wing and midfield not too bad, just no end phase to deliver any product.
FA Cup and League Cup were the only competitions I didn't put a Liverpool outright bet on (ha) and yeah, I'd have loved to see what the odds would have been as I don't think I got really good value with EPL (5.66) though I was happy to snatch one at UCL (8.41).
We probably had the easier tie also but I actually in cup games much prefer tough opponents early to build up towards the end -- though the Reds these days don't really play different except for personnel.

When it comes to inflation, people are faced with a lack of money for basic necessities, so the question is whether they have any money at all for any investment.
Yup. I know I can't be the only one sometimes forced to dig into Bitcoin we score we'd never touch so soon (happily for me, have been also fortunate enough to take advantage of unexpected dip opportunities to even it out. I never really bought the theory that inflation and recession leads the regular guy to get further exposure to Bitcoin. Doesn't make sense to take on more risk when you need to keep your gas running. Today Market Rising Again and has reached $ 41800, making me optimistic that Bull Run immediately happens, we still have the opportunity to profit if you buy immediately, I'm sure the month of March will touch $ 50k again and April or May will reach New ATH. Focus Buy, and Hold will make us happy.
You the kind of guy who feels optimistic with this kind of rise? Dread to think what kind of dark thoughts you get when the market slips 5% or more -- since it happens pretty much more often that I get the chance to get a full 8 hours' sleep Opportunity to profit is also rather persistent, though, am sure the silent scalpers would agree.

A picture worth understanding and there might be different explanations from word of mouth but those who don't understand the core importance of bitcoin always speak shit about it according to what they perceive:
That's not an accurate picture as no one's holding the... duck. @Toxic2040 real women. Funny how that phrase actually needs to be said these days. I've heard the Chinese created tic toc to brainwash and dumb down the western culture. They are succeeding.
Not like anyone from any culture has ever needed help dumbing themselves down. A bit sick now seeing twice in too short a timeframe seeing people in trouble, and when it's all over and you look around thinking everyone's phewing with relief, no, instead, everyone around you's filming. If that's not dumbed down, I'm not sure what is.

Wow I'm so late to the party, totally forgot the draws happened last night (Wolves-Leeds was so engrossingly long, over 2 hours on the telly) and then this morning started seeing the posts.
Liverpool-Benfica we probably got the weakest team left but I actually would have much preferred to meet one of the stronger ones earlier, perhaps even Real rightaway but in any case, we should expect then to avoid all the boring English meetups (I don't mind but I prefer seeing non-English teams, more exciting when the games aren't among teams from the same league right?).
It's okay too though as we then meet Bayern, who'll want to prove they are rightly the favourites to win.
City-Chelsea semi? I'm going for Real.

Couldn't get home in time and am still way out from home so had to keep eyes on text updates but am sure most of us got Arsenal to win. Just probably not by such a slim margin. Villa did not register more than the single shot on goal, very surprising given how good they looked in the recent games I watched.
Gerrard will feel comfortable with where he is now and this was Arsenal on the rise. Did lose bets on Villa ML though.

Nice one OP! Think I recall some time ago you were also talking about Bitcoin education in a classroom (could be someone else). Fastcraft, you mean Hovercraft?
It's going to be one hell of a session if you're also going to explore the stuff you mentioned though (Defi, metaverse, NFT, although I hardly see why metaverse is even remotely related in practice!) so let's hope it doesn't get all messy like most sessions I've watched. Share a link or something?

You guys all ready for a blast? Only 4 games this matchday and just the one today but Arsenal should be stinging from the last defeat having performed so well in the first half. I'm unfortunately backing Villa today, but only because I think they're also a great team on the rise -- but I have to say Arsenal's got the flavour to take home the win. That is not the same and it is much tougher for me to get 6 correct scores than 15 match lines, especially if there is no draw option. I would regularly hit 8 or 9 games in old MM while usually only one correct score in this free-6-6 promo.
I am getting similar poor results like you, it's not easy to win, but it's not impossible so don't lose hope. Old Multimaster was amazing competition while it lasted and I think that I won few times, but I am very happy with other promotions we are getting from Sportsbet all the time. Same, IIRC my results from before. Only one shared win on MM, and many, many close ones. But I don't think I've even got 2/6 in the Bet-free-6. Much, much tougher. notblox1 multiple wins? That's pretty impressive, I do recall one forum guy winning 3 times?
