4881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Neglected Quality Blockchain Projects on: July 05, 2021, 10:01:19 AM
But all these defi things you mentioned is just regular finance, except on blockchain. The decentralized nature of most of them can't even really be proven or are disproven. Instead of banks and governments, you trust corporations and startups or at worse, a pack of devs who are anon and just running pump n dump schemes.

A real defi would totally go against the established financial rules. At least that's how I see it.
4882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: July 05, 2021, 08:50:40 AM
I thought Uruguay had the ability to qualify for the semi-finals but what happened was Cavani and Suarez wasted a lot of chances. Until finally the match was decided on penalties and I was only surprised by the performance from Ospina but otherwise, even though Cavani and Suarez could have scored goals in the shootout I was still disappointed with his game during normal time. However, both teams have equally great goalkeepers and that is also what makes it difficult for both teams to score goals in normal time.

I guess a lot of us saw it from the past matches. They had plenty of time to correct their mistakes from the group stages, but if they continued to play like that (miss chances) then they would for sure get out. Bad on me to keep predicting for them but it is what it is. I guess this was just a really long season for both of them and full of emotions. That saps all the strength out of you for a tournament like this.

So it's Game On Brazil Argentina!

Bitcoin rising because of positive issues people all happy. But Bitcoin drop because of negative issues, why people so angry?Smiley
Not me. I'm in best case, a little nervous during pumps. I always, always, prefer the ultra slow burn on the rise to the top, never been a massive fan of the all-stops-pulled crazy rallies.

I have to admit I do enjoy the pumps a lot, it just makes me excited to see how far it can go and how quickly, but you're right, the faster they tend to pump, the longer it will take to recover when it does go into longterm correction mode. So definitely nice to see this period of activity where the rises are much more slower and I guess this builds a stronger foundation for the future prices.
4884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 05, 2021, 06:56:55 AM
The rest of this match will be held at Wembley and of course it will be very good for England who will play against Denmark, I personally feel if the match is not at Wembley maybe Denmark will win. But yes, because England will be playing at home then of course England have a better chance of winning the match and qualifying for the final it looks like it will be against Italy.

Yeah I actually thought that they were going to play a couple of games or something at Wembley only but it does kind of feel really really unfair to play so many games with obvious home advantage, right? I mean, sure, it's not everything and fans sometimes make a lot of pressure for the home team but in this case, England fans are right behind them and they're quite aggressive towards the opponent:)
4885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 05, 2021, 06:23:49 AM
Well , personally I love Copa America , Copa SudAmericana and Copa Liberdatores so yes , some of us really watch and likes South American football and not only from Brazil.

Flamengo vs  Fluminese is a super classic derby in Brazil and I'm excited for this game because there are no other games to watch tonight so thanks for this opportunity.

Unfortunately for me, the time difference is so great. Even for the evening matches if they start very early it is 3am for me, but most of the matches happen when I am on the way to work or at the office. Almost impossible to watch (we are monitored but even if we weren't, well, just not possible).

It's crazy but a few of us sometimes still try in the super early mornings on weekends but it leaves us totally hammered for the next day.

I had a multi on flamengo boom in the LAST minute!

In our last game, we only 3 points in the game at Half Time and the whole game zero cards, so even winning 4-0 couldn't get us even halfway to Blackjack:)

Today, the selection is another one I can't really say anything about but partner special;) Who likes/watches Brasilian football? Hope youré right Ralle!

Well, England fans, are youg going to rub Harry's balls? be honest

Come on guys, rub the balls. Can't wait to see the final now but we have an explosive semi in Italy and Spain. I have BOTH teams on my outright so one of them has to go, big shame. but if just one goes and beats England in the final I'll be really happy so go go! Harry, get your balls rubbed and bring your team to the final:)
4889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis of the causes of bitcoin's fall that is minimized on: July 04, 2021, 11:30:21 AM
I see a lot of issues circulating on social media about the fall of bitcoin, some think this is a big investor control, some think this is a factor influencing negative issues, so bitcoin plummets.

what do you think about this, so we can all fix it?
if bitcoin falls because of negative issues, let's get rid of those issues, so that bitcoin bounces back.

There is no "big" investor control here. This isn't the stock markets. You can go in on any exchange now and drop 25k btc and it will disappear into the ocean of other traders. Maybe some panic and triggering mass sell off but it always, always rebounds and recovers.

Messi has the objective of winning a major event for the first time with his own national team, of which he's just become the player with the most appearances, rising to 148 overtaking Javier Mascherano. In the match against Ecuador, Messi should be joined in attack by Lautaro Martinez and Nico Gonzalez.
Ecuador doesn't really look like a problem for the albiceleste and I expect quite a clear win from them, maybe 2-0 or 3-0

Wow this makes me feel totally so old thinking about Mascherano and Messi who actually used to play together even.

I saw some comments all talking about players diving in the match but that's Copa for you, who's surprised anyway haha.

Suarez finally out, that team was never going to make it far but it seems at least Argentina is making themselves look better and better with each passing game. Should easily get past Colombia now.
4891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: July 04, 2021, 08:36:36 AM
I guess you're referring to the use of NFT in the creative industry. So music, art, audio, video, etc? I think it's okay. And I do read of many artists who continue to face the problem of exposure today and NFT in crypto/blockchain perhaps gives them just one more avenue for exposure  even if they may never sell anything. The point for most artists is to get noticed that one important time by that one significant person.

But to achieve 90% of the crap the NFT white papers are peddling around? Nah.
4892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 03, 2021, 04:59:41 PM
You're not the only one doing stats I'm sure boltz, I've been reading from others early on in this thread but for BJ it really has absolutely been about luck, BUT to speak about it, I think it's strange to see EURO - Estonia - EURO all get so close to BJ/bust:) And in various ways. Estonia saw 7 points in last 10 mins, and last night saw only 2:)

But the match everyone is waiting for is LIVE!

4893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with bear markets on: July 03, 2021, 01:37:16 PM
Traders themselves are also a really different kind of animal too and I've experienced them before crypto, forex especially. They don't think or like long term:)
for those who have understood forex trading before, of course not too surprised by the bitcoin market, at least both have differences in their fluctuations, in bitcoin trading high fluctuations can provide big profits in the short term, and that means the risk is also directly proportional. but for me when the market is bearish like this it is better to start investing in several prices

Well, I was just referring to the mentality of those kind of flash traders that absolutely cannot think long term. For them, a long period is a month! They prefer seconds, minutes, so they love the volatility of forex during news breaks and events, and that's exactly what attracts that type of person to crypto, even crazier fluctuations at many more times the magnitude.

And often, not even really down to any type of news or event!
4894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there really a lot of money to be made trading bitcoin? on: July 03, 2021, 01:00:53 PM
I don't like leverage myself, even if I did get back into trading (which is unlikely) it's still a scalper's gaming tools.
Leveraging 10x to short is too risky to me, a mistake will lead to liquidation of the whole portfolio, 3x to 5x is better,. alternative in shorting trades to earn profits however this depends on how experienced a trader is  thus a skillfull trader will make profit consistently irrespective of whether the market is bullish or bearish basically this has to do with proficiency in using both TA and fundamental analysis to predict price movement of course this can never be 100% however with money management such a trader will have edge over the market and make money.
10x is acceptable as long you do know on what youre doing but when it comes too realistic leverage or considerable ones then 3x-5x would really better which I do highly agree on this one.

Experience does really count but mostly noobs do really have that common mistake that they do really believe that leverage is just an easy thing to make money without realizing
that this is also the fastest way on getting liquidated once the trend do oppose on what you had set out.

Well, like I said, leveraging is far too risky for me, even if I did go back to trading (which I highly doubt I ever would unless I became totally rich and just wanted to have fun the way I gamble at casinos for fun).

I honestly don't see the difference with x5 and x10 (it's double the leverage which kind of makes it easier to calculate in tenths rather than 20ths) -- it's really just the experience and discipline.
4895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: July 03, 2021, 11:32:57 AM
To all the responses about Brazil and Covid: yeah, big shame everything is politicized while half a million died. I feel sometimes so guilty to enjoy this football like this. But anyway...

So I totally saw the setups wrongly, I was all the while talking about another Brazil Peru final... but only just earlier this morning saw now that the routes ensure it won't happen.

But we do have the final repeat as a semi though, and I think Brazil will be very happy it turned out this way. I guess it really is turning out to be Brazil Argentina.
4896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [TEZOS] Is Tezos a low cap gem? on: July 03, 2021, 09:36:19 AM
Anything with over a $1 billion market cap is not low cap. It is a well known coin that has been around for a long time. They had one of the biggest ICOs ever. They had a lot of internal problems and legal issues when they started so the hype died down significantly and was a huge setback. If they hadn't messed up their launch they might be much bigger today. Maybe they can be considered them a midcap gem.

Well known, but maybe for all the wrong things, as you've listed out. But as I said yesterday, people seem to have really forgot what Tezos was to their early investors? Or is all this remaining hype exactly from the investors hoping to recover

They won't be the first big coin to mess up launch and still go on to be big though (think of Ethereum).
4897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 03, 2021, 08:36:02 AM
I watched the whole match. Mbappe has taken many wrong shots in the match. Which were far from the goalposts. He could have passed to any other player. However, if he had been able to score from those shots, we would all be applauding him now, but players have to be careful when playing against strong teams. Missing any chance increases the chances of losing the match.

That's always the case in any game, and for any top striker, you always have to decide what to do, and if you keep missing, people pay attention. I still think a striker has to be selfish and take his chances, especially when you do have the talents and ability like he does. I know Benzema complains about him not passing but we've seen that's not true either. Anyway:) The game is over and Mbappe will still be a great player:) What do you think of Morata? Is he also right to be blamed for missing a lot?
4898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 02, 2021, 05:01:53 PM
Hello everybody! We wait for a win again after a day of rest for Blackjack;)

Today it is also a special pick while waiting for EURO Final 8 to play, loads of time to think about how much to put in. I don't have very much information about these teams except Spain but what do you think? We should get 3 points from goals at the very least, and hopefully another surprise package for all of us?

4899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSC token with deflation and minimum supply? on: July 02, 2021, 03:49:34 PM
I think there are plenty of deflationary tokens on bsc that burns supply. Technically almost all shitcoins are using this feature as their main ingredients for marketing. The word deflationary becomes more often to used due to the famous projects thats started it.

Hodl tokens, catecoin, bonfire, ass tokens and many more. These tokens burn some of their supply that has been traded across the dex.

I guess he means something that has a programmable burn? Like those crypto that automatically burns the miners fee so that the supply reduces with the volume of transactions, and encourages people to use it more. Models like that work in theory but like you said, it's just marketing tactics in the end.

Tokenomics don't work well because there are no users. Just speculators.
4900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [TEZOS] Is Tezos a low cap gem? on: July 02, 2021, 02:02:54 PM
Tezos [TEZOS] was recommended by some experts and is now a partner of Red Bull and McLaren Mercedes Formel 1.
Experts say, Tezos can be huge.
Right now, it has a very low market cap.
What price do you beleive can [TEZOS] do? It is currently at 2,94 Dollar and a Market Cap rank of only place 40.

Experts have been saying for YEARS how Tezos can and will be huge lol. Did anyone already forget the problems Tezos had in the past with manipulation and centralization? How else do you think they can partner with RB and McLaren?

It's just another Ripple or Tether, with fancier people behind it.
