As times change, your methods may need to change, too.

I think we ate at the same restaurant today!

Just in case you feel the need to start another thread when you can't change the size, foreground colour or background colour of your sig, here's a link with information on the restrictions for sigs by rank:

Alright, but no need for you to be condescending either, i'm only willing to learn. You've been a Jr. Member/newbie too i'm sure, here or elsewhere. We can't all know everything from the get-go, and mocking noobs won't make them learn faster.

Thank you for your answers.

Sure.  Is there any other way I can assist you in promoting that shitcoin?  Perhaps I could put an affiliate link in my sig for you?

Hi,

I wanted to try a signature for the first time for bounties. JSECOIN don't have a very complicated signature yet i can't seem to make it work : the first part of the sentence is supposed to be in bold [b ][/b], and link is supposed to be clickable. None of them works. How do i do it ?

Thank you.

4905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin core help on: July 15, 2018, 03:42:32 PM
Hi,

Hoping someone can help, I have purchased some bitcoin and made the transaction before realising how long bitcoin core / Blockchain took to load / synchronize. I now have no space left on my surface and have deleted practically everything I can and the block chain is on 12% finished, I'm assuming my current transfer from the exchange to my bitcoin core wallet is floating waiting for my bitcoin core to load then register the transaction. Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do apart from lose the funds? Is it possible to open a cloud based wallet and somehow redirect the pending transaction? Or is it possible to continue the bitcoin core download but onto an external hard drive?
Thanks.

So after getting some expert advice from LoyceV, what did you do?
4906  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 14, 2018, 03:44:19 AM

I used the right word. I've looked this up before. Only a few months ago because I just to make sure I was doing it right. Then refers to time, than refers to consequence.

If it doesn't look like bitcoin is rallying, than zoom in and out until it does.

I went to the store, then I went home.

Are you willing to bet your dick on that?

Well no... maybe I misunderstood what I purposely went out of my way to make sure I learned...

Fucking hell. The website that I read, I really did it was highlighted purple in google search, https://www.wikihow.com/Use-Than-and-Then didn't have any examples like  "If *, then *".

But here it is here. http://grammarist.com/usage/than-then/ "If this is the case, then it exists alongside a surprisingly resilient sense of class belonging."

You caught me. Yonton is my other account. He and I are one and the same.

Fucking grammar. How is this shit just so easy for everyone else. How do you all just know this sort of thing like it's so obvious and easy? Angry

I'm not a grammarian but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Here's an easy way to remember the usage of than and then :

I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy but if I had to have a frontal lobotomy, I would rather have a bottle in front of me then the frontal lobotomy.

edit: that was lame... I'm going to bed Wink

wait, doesn't the Trezor stuff you in segwit addys?

You can chose legacy or segwit, even within the same wallet to have two divisions and to be able to view overall balance or the balance of the separate formats.

I am pretty sure that if you seed a trezor with a wallet that you already have, then it will keep the same format, and you can view each of the locations... and move coins between segwit or legacy addresses too, to the extent that you feel more comfortable with one versus another or some combination.

This is a very good post. I had no idea you had such technical insights. My bad.

Yeah right.  Sounds a bit patronizing.

I was just describing my experience with the Trezor, not very technical at all.

I knew you would think I was patronizing you. Why is everybody so cynical and paranoid all of a sudden? Huh

4913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Putin debate: Asbestos good or bad? on: July 13, 2018, 12:25:49 PM
Wait, are you telling us they actually debated about this? Isn't the medical records of those who got asbestos in their lungs good enough or do also think those are all fake?

yes apparently trump said so in 2005, in reference that asbetos protected steel doesn't melt like in wtc1,2,7 (which by the way were asbestos protected).

the thing about putin, is that there are many kinds of asbestos... and I wouldn't be surprise that they both don't speak about the same product.

because if you really believe that russia can't make any anti flammable product, I think a little rocket can remind you.

the difference between western leaders and this russian? the russian wants more russian in russia... aka he doesn't see them as preys.

russians told me about the toxic salmons... no one else.
russians told me about the toxin in the sausages... no one else.
russians showed me the spidersgoats... no one else.

but I understand that when a international or russian coporation think about fucking putin... I guess at least the national ones quickly laugh and move to another more survivable business model.

in the west they know they own the press and will be able to manipulate their ways of anything... fiat, media, the courts... what have left? their toxins...

 You're funny.
I'm pretty sure I remember you discussion Holdomor previously... who told you about Holdomor?!
Who told you about Kyshtym?

Come on man... you can't have it all ways.

All you kids wanting to get in on the ground floor of something big.  Its not too late.  You have about a year to build your Bitcoin holdings.  Chasing shitcoin pumps is going to get you nowhere.

It gives me the occasional frisson just listening to it.  Crank it up!

Where did you obtain an address without loading the wallet to begin with?

This is seriously the most boring season of Bitcorn I've lived through.

At least I was a miner previously to keep things exciting.

Maybe I should tune out until 2020 or something...

My gut tells me we're not going to end this year higher than we did last.

I have begun to believe there is great Merit+ in walking away a bit from a "I AM CONSUMED BY ALL THINGS BITCORN" and feed the parts of my life that are also interesting and passions.  Especially during this sort of time.

 agreed
