4901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: March 14, 2021, 01:00:59 AM
I've never heard of anybody getting in trouble for not paying taxes on their gambling winnings. It is not something that will get you in trouble if you are in good standing with the IRS or whatever similar agency is in your country because you can just keep it a secret and they won't even know that you owe them money.

I'm playing in an online gambling casino and I'm not paying taxes because my government is not asking me to do pay, and I don't consider gambling as my income, because I lose a lot in gambling I rarely win in gambling, once they implement and included winning in gambling, maybe just then I will think of paying.
4902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 13, 2021, 10:42:57 PM
Some used to pacify themselves with the term it is their fate to loss in gambling. Some say it is the lack of control that makes them loss big. Here I'm taking this into discussion relative to the game - Dice.

Dice is my favorite game, this is a game where you have no control if you are going to win or lose, there are a lot of strategy and variations on how to play this game, but it only leads you to lose the game in the long run, if you don't know how to stop and when to stop, there is always a house edge that will catch up with you if you fail to stop at the right time.

Sometimes what happens is not normal ...

We do have a different thought on BFG token some people have high hopes on it, some prefer to dump it, or out of necessity they have to do that, it's his loss anyway if he prefers to dump his token, or prefers to trade it in the auction than staking his share or wait for the exchange.
4904  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your exit price(s) on this bull run? on: March 13, 2021, 05:02:30 AM
It's hard to have an exit just when things are looking good on the price, if you don't need to cash out or there are no good coins for me to invest I prefer to keep my coins in my wallet, I just follow the market for any hint of a shift from bull run to bear market, but even if we are in a bear trend I prefer to keep a portion of my coins in my wallet.

You can see hourly updated nodes list at: https://bglcontest.bitaps.com/nodes_list (and can check that it's better to have constantly running node to win rewards)

I just participated in the lottery and I follow the instructions on how to set up my node, my node has been online now for 12 hours already but I have not seen my information in the link you provided

https://bglcontest.bitaps.com/nodes_list

Should I wait for more time or I am not yet qualified.
4906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders - May 8 on: March 12, 2021, 11:35:55 PM

I'm a fan of Canelo but if ever he will face Manny, I might bet against him as I like to support my country man.

If they ever meet I will also support Pacquiao because he needs all the support and prayer because he is fighting a fighter who is at his prime and probably one of the big punchers and with good excellent ring generalship, I hope they will not meet for Pacquiao's sake, Pacquiao although still great and in great shape, age might creep in on him.
4907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the altcoin bull on: March 12, 2021, 10:51:44 PM
Few old projects have made the ATH, like enj, doge, bnb, eth but most of the old projects are still far away from the ATH. Can we call the current situation bullrun for altcoin?  I think no. Most of the times, it’s the affect of bitcoin rise.
So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?

It's quite disappointing I focused on the altcoin in the bear market, hoping back then I will have a good profit when the bull run sets in, but unfortunately all my hope did not materialize, some of them are even going down, I'm still hoping I believe we still a whole year of bull run, and many of the altcoins I'm holding will reach another all-time high of their own.

Maybe some of them worked for a short time, and then turned off. Now I also see only 49 working nodes in the list. It would be nice to hear from the developers how they evaluate the work of the nodes and conduct the lottery.

Thye should show transparency and encourage users to run nodes, the nodes that are participating is still very low compared to other mining based coin the dev should encourage running nodes by adding more incentives, this is the best time to participate in a lottery and buying more BGL while the price is still low, BGL has a good potential in the market.
4909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: March 12, 2021, 02:02:16 AM
There is no safe investment, all of them still have their respective risks that you have to face, but you have to be brave enough to fight those risks because if you look at the BNB price movement from the very beginning until now it can have a value of $300 showing that the Binance platform product has a development that is very impressive. good and of course if used as a long-term investment can provide a lot of profit.

You mean safely to invest and you will not lose your investment? of course Binance Coin is a safe coin to invest in, they are the leading exchange in the industry, they have their own chain, and they have a very active and charismatic leader why doubt, they are now in the third position, soon they will reach $1000 hopefully this year.
4910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2021 top and end of year predictions on: March 12, 2021, 01:19:24 AM
Hi,

I was interested to know what you think Bitcoin will peak at this year and what you think the price will be at the end of each year up until 2025

Here's what I think could be a fair estimate:

2021 peak: $95,000

EOY 2021: $65,000
EOY 2022: $100,000
EOY 2023: $150,000
EOY 2024: $300,000
EOY 2025: $500,000

Maybe you will say that I am too much optimism, but I think there is a very good chance that this year ATH will be set at around $200k
The bull run will end at the beginning of next year and we will have 2 years of bear market, i.e. a repeat of the situation from 2018.

That's too much optimistic but it's ok we are in a speculation thread where a lot of speculation can be considered wishful thinking, I would like to be more realistic so I can take action on things before they happen, people are still speculating on the all-time high and mine is $90k, this is a moderate prediction, the best that we can do now is to support the price, it will pay off if we do that now.
4911  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: -=-=- Elon Musk Giveaway email scam -=-=- on: March 09, 2021, 10:40:54 AM
It's good that you did not post the link but obviously, before you can claim the giveaway you have to send them gas fees to claim their giveaway, this is how they do that giveaway, you have to send first, there was a time this was so popular that you can find on Twitter, Youtube they are even hacking channels with millions of subscribers.
It will continue because so many newbies who just came here do not know this trick unless they asked old-timers..
4912  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: What will be the ATH in 2021? on: March 09, 2021, 02:36:28 AM
I am interested to know where you guys think the bitcoin price will go in this bull cycle until the end of 2021?
What will be this year's ATH in US Dollar?

I voted $ 90.001 - $ 100.000 I based my computation on the movement of the market and the fact that Tesla is now supporting and PayPal continuously buying, and I have a belief that there will be more institutions coming in to invest and become part of the community and bull run will continue next year, momentum is great and people have high hopes.
4913  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the FBI wallet with 141,000 bitcoins was stolen what would happen? :o on: March 08, 2021, 11:14:18 PM
There are thousands of bitcoins in the hands of the FBI, how they securely store bitcoin?

At the current price it's worth more than 7 billion dollars!!  Shocked

If the FBI wallet with 141,000 bitcoins was stolen what do you think would happen with the bitcoin price?

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/35hK24tcLEWcgNA4JxpvbkNkoAcDGqQPsP

They should know how to secure their asset, although there is a huge risk of exposing their wallet in the eyes of the public, if ever the wallet was hacked and coins were stolen there could be a huge crash coming if the hacker decides to cash out those Bitcoins, we know FBI they have all the resources to track who hacked their wallet, it will not easy to getaway.
4914  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB every20min|⚡️$3.5 mln Staking pool|⚡️$150K BNB event on: March 08, 2021, 11:03:53 PM

I followed it and all boxes were effective sold out. Low purchase amount with no wagering requirements helps to acquire these boxes  Wink. I was able to obtain all the BNB boxes and will keep on buying these whenever I came.

This is what I like about Betfury, they have no minimum on almost all their features, the bet, and these boxes, so even if you are small players you can have the opportunity to invest, I never missed the opportunity to invest whenever there is a chance to buy one, it's another source of income for players.
4915  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 08, 2021, 10:43:27 PM

Same as this is the gambling, more key players are involved with match fixing even after getting huge sum of money after every match winning/losing. Why certain sportsmen have such greed towards money when people are starving to have a single meal on a day.

There's corruption in every industry not only in gambling and in every country where there is a relaxation of the regulations and the authorities and regulators are very easy on corrupt people, but there will also be a syndicate that will bribe the government and sports officials and players to fix the game, it's easy money for them, whenever a favorite player or team losses a game, there's always a hint of corruption.
4916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: March 08, 2021, 03:36:53 AM
Most of the projects recently launching Binance Smart chain plafrorm due the high exessive Ethereum network fees.

Even if they want to, circumstances are not favorable, the bounty distribution alone will cost them a lot, and Binance Chain is also as good as the Ethereum chain, cheap fast, and managed by one of the industry leaders in Cryptocurrency, Ethereum is losing momentum and BINANCE is gaining a lot of users of their chain.

4917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 5k to invest, should I buy Ripple or Litecoin? I do not want to hold on: March 07, 2021, 11:53:14 AM
Ripple could really go up if they settle with the SEC over their lawsuit. But it's a big IF and I wouldn't gamble like that with $ 5k.
There are other cryptos that would be much better long term investments in my opinion.

Of the two, I would opt for Litecoin.

Because of their issue with SEC, they are not a good and safe choice, but if that issue is not existing I could pick Ripple easily, Ripple could have reached $1 to $5 if not for the SEC issues if you have an appetite for high-risk investment, pick Ripple it's a better choice than a new coin if only I can figure out if they can win their case I will buy because if the court favors them they will have a huge pump, the biggest pump ever.
4918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: March 07, 2021, 11:45:09 AM

2 of the boxers he beat that are still active now and a champion on their own division.

1-Manny Pacquiao
2- Canelo Alvarez.

Mayweather beat them by unanimous decision and look how good these two are now, so I can say Mayweather is smart.. about saying that no one can knock him out, I'm just exaggerating.  Smiley

This is why he has a huge ego he has beaten two of the best active boxers, and we should give him credit for that, but on coming back to fight boxers at the present generation I doubt if he has a good chance, he has a long lay off and I have doubt if he still has it at his age.
4919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tim Draper: Netflix will be the next one to fall on: March 07, 2021, 09:20:16 AM

why not. netflix came out to be a playful and creative company. it's not going to be surprising for Netflix to have an option which BTC users can pay for a subscription. it's a very unpredictable turn of events which netflix came out to digitalize everything instead when the other side of the world are still building cinemas. CDs and storage had become outdated because of netflix.

My family is a long time Netflix subscriber, in case they invest and accept Bitcoin or any other Cryptocurrency it's going to be a piece of welcome news,  Netflix has a huge number of subscribers that's another big leap for Bitcoin, but we need a full confirmation that they are indeed going to adopt and invest in Cryptocurrency.
4920  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not "COVID" vaccine passports on a blockchain ID on: March 07, 2021, 08:56:27 AM
As far as I can remember, there are several projects who already did this (or at least claimed that they're working on blockchain-based COVID passports). ID2020 might be the latest one that I know, they're working with some DPoS blockchain project if I recall correctly.

Pretty sure they won't use Bitcoin or Ethereum network since the cost might be way too much.

The world needs something like this while the vaccination is still ongoing, so we have a database of people who got vaccinated, this will not be the last virus or pandemic that we are going to encounter, and by having this we have something in place already, maybe fifty years from now we will encounter another new virus that will set up a new pandemic, we are in a modern era we should make something easy for the next generation.
