Couldn't get home in time and am still way out from home so had to keep eyes on text updates but am sure most of us got Arsenal to win. Just probably not by such a slim margin. Villa did not register more than the single shot on goal, very surprising given how good they looked in the recent games I watched.
Gerrard will feel comfortable with where he is now and this was Arsenal on the rise. Did lose bets on Villa ML though.

Nice one OP! Think I recall some time ago you were also talking about Bitcoin education in a classroom (could be someone else). Fastcraft, you mean Hovercraft?
It's going to be one hell of a session if you're also going to explore the stuff you mentioned though (Defi, metaverse, NFT, although I hardly see why metaverse is even remotely related in practice!) so let's hope it doesn't get all messy like most sessions I've watched. Share a link or something?

You guys all ready for a blast? Only 4 games this matchday and just the one today but Arsenal should be stinging from the last defeat having performed so well in the first half. I'm unfortunately backing Villa today, but only because I think they're also a great team on the rise -- but I have to say Arsenal's got the flavour to take home the win. That is not the same and it is much tougher for me to get 6 correct scores than 15 match lines, especially if there is no draw option. I would regularly hit 8 or 9 games in old MM while usually only one correct score in this free-6-6 promo.
I am getting similar poor results like you, it's not easy to win, but it's not impossible so don't lose hope. Old Multimaster was amazing competition while it lasted and I think that I won few times, but I am very happy with other promotions we are getting from Sportsbet all the time. Same, IIRC my results from before. Only one shared win on MM, and many, many close ones. But I don't think I've even got 2/6 in the Bet-free-6. Much, much tougher. notblox1 multiple wins? That's pretty impressive, I do recall one forum guy winning 3 times?

^Looks like a fun one, am going to have to try and watch it. Gerrard and Coutinho making waves, while Arsenal will want to bounce back as quickly as possible, so I'm expecting a fun-filled game, it's also on Super Boost if you want to snatch a nice 3/1 for the home team (which I do).
Also, Leeds game was crazy, 10 minutes or so injury time on each half, and we came pretty close to Blackjack near the end, ref was just refusing to pull out cards.
Bochum match also a stitch -- was 10 points at HT and racking nicely 1 per 5 minutes until the crowd forced ref to call the game off.

DCL fell of a cliff in terms of form from what I can gather, and they've just not played as a team when I've watched them. Rafa obviously didn't have a great time after they got rid of Ancelotti, and he sold one of their better players. Richarlison or arguably is their best player, just strikes me as an individual rather than a team player. They were building up the foundations pretty nicely I thought. Lewin's form was always going to be temporary though, they likely needed to hold onto Ancelotti, and let him build up a team over a couple more years, instead they ruined that by tossing him to the side at the first sign of struggle. Now they're paying that price.
Everton must be so frustrating if you're a fan of them, since they pretty much nail the appointments they needed to make to better themselves, but then they pull the trigger way too soon, and undo everything they've actually built.
Thought Ancelotti was prised away to Real but seems you were right. Did a quick lookup and he appears to have felt like the club lost faith in him after a 10th place finish (but really, that was also a run of bad luck) and then decided he'd go before he was pushed out. Richarlison - I regularly settle with him if picking a player to score and he's even in my fantasy team (abandoned long ago) but yeah, he's more of a lone wolf than a team player, though he was among the first to run to Iwobi to celebrate and can't say he doesn't give work rate. You just don't feel like the team rally around him when they need to dig deep. Definitely something wrong with them. Ancelotti was a coup and, arguably, even Rafa. Now they're stuck because they stepped into the mud. agree, it is always a booger to play on your team at least we are in a bit better position regarding relegation fight
TBH, we did not deserved to win, I was satisfied with a draw, since Newcastle is in really great shape lately, but was sure than it will not finish 0:0 when referee showed 14 minutes add time, as one overtime half
Sorry, casper, but they were so bad. Iwobi's goal only just made up for his wayward play the entire game. And 14 mins extra time yeah, I was even expecting more also because of the red card VAR that took 5 whole bloody minutes. Tonight Wolves also got 8 minutes 1st half injury time -- which ended up being 11. Allowed the only corner of the game to happen, and a yellow leading to a goal, otherwise regular time was full of Wolves chances that Jimenez screwed up. Notice a lot in the pool went for 1-0 wins, and that had been previous picks for me but forgetting Sunday win, Wolves have been scoring 4-2-2-2-3-3 goals in their previous 6 wins!

Time for another spring clean, why not?
LMAO, that's a nice perspective. The weak hands indeed lost a lot of money back then. It was a long bear market of 2-3 years. If only they would have hold until now then they would have been in lots of profits. This is the exact reason why I am trying to accumulate as much as I can. We know this spring break will lead to higher gains in the summer time madness in future. OR we're actually enjoying the last warm days of autumn before another long and bitter winter sets on -- recession, inflation, war, pandemic, whatever it is that's coming is all going to bunch together at some point. It doesn't change what I've locked my sights on though. Halving has never failed. And I don't expect it to. If anything, the logic behind it can only gets more hardcoded into the market.

I've been messing about too much with accas actually, and getting 4/5 right many times the last 2 weeks. So almost every day I log into my account and see a freebet from the insurance. Of course, I proceed to put in on some idiot special and lose it by one team. Those teams that make it into the Specials are always containing one bedshitter heh. Today's special is Sassuolo win and clean sheet. So of course, this means either nil-nil or BTTS and draw I think I won a few times but honestly,,, I cannot remember now which promos I win because there are so many. Today I entered 3 already, yours is 4, and I still have 2 more to make!
I feel you. Luckily, this is a nice complaint for us to have. Honestly sometimes I wonder even if my betting style is changing because of these freebets, I really ought to put them on better picks as I waste them on Specials. Part of the issue is they expire quickly but that's not a good excuse when even the smallest ones are about $10. Snag a promo win and it's 0.5 or 1 mbtc or even 2 mbtc... That's as much as $80, too good to just randomly place. In 2016 I was signing up for London bookies and they were giving only fivers or tenners as freebets to new customers (or giving huge price boosts). I felt so amazed to get all these freebets and boosts I turned them into a lot of money that season (Klopp's run to Europe final mainly, Sturridge's incredible goal every game also I still remember). SB's promos put all these bookies to shame =p

^That definitely counts me out of contention as thanks to that UCLA Bruins late win, I have the exact score of ONE game right! Pretty sure a totally random selection would have done much better, but there you go, what happens when you don't know what's on the plate.
Honestly had no idea amateur sports was so big in the US. I mean, I used to follow youth teams from Liverpool quite closely, but never to watch a game, just to follow developments. Sterling was someone I really followed all the way to senior professional football, and then I ragequit when he left us for the moneybags.
GL to the rest of you! Any upcoming stars caught your eye?

Unfortunately not, one of my worst performances in recent times as I also only got one guy right (Harry Kane). To be fair, there was some confusion about MD 29/30 though (and I see FJ's decided to skip MD30 altogether and combine into MD29), and I thought I was making my picks for different matches in MD30 -- not FJ's fault at all, mine for not comparing match schedules heh.
It happened to me once also, maybe they need to add clear dates for matchday to avoid confusion. Don't worry about bad predictions, there are a lot of chances to win something all the time, check out Games and Rounds I posted something fresh for you. Good luck MajSev's only improved every season, used to have really weird glitches but I see now it's generally bug-free -- major improvement is the way they now have the right roster for every team. I remember past editions always had wrong players still in their old teams after transfer window (the Jan transfer usually) but it's nice to see every player available now. And I guess it's hard to keep up also with matches postponed and rescheduled so much thanks to you-know-what. And thank you, I've just put in my picks

Everton, just couldn't stomach how bad the football last night was -- from both teams. Still feels like yesterday when Everton were bouncing with Ancelotti and DCL look like the anointed one. Haven't really been following what's been happening but what happened to that castle? @darxiaomi yeah there's no fair way to do it. There are rounds even with 5 games IIRC, and that's ugly but it is still fair that everyone has the same advantage/disadvantage right? Oh and welcome everyone to the fight for Top 5. This is the most competitive this pool has ever been, in any pool I've joined, in any season. What a group of dirty bastards we have. It worked when they got promoted to the PL and it worked when they finished 9th last season against all odds. As for the running less, as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago they've been missing Bamford and Phillips from very early on in the season so that's probably why the stats will look bad. People just like to scapegoat managers these days as they're an easy target. Their poor performance is almost certainly down to all the injuries. Phillips is by far their best player and whilst I think Bamford is mediocre he's still their top scorer. They should have just stuck it out with Bielsa. What is Ted Lasso gonna do? I think they're more likely to get relegated with him than Bielsa. If Bielsa stayed and he saved them from relegation it would have only bolstered his standing with the club and fans but I'm assuming the American owners were calling for his head and I'm guessing they had something to do with hiring the American manager as well. Money overrules everything these days.
I know it's a little bit of a disservice to Leeds to say so but the Covid break helped them in that instance. They had their bright start to the Championship, just like the season before, but once the season wore on, they were already running on fumes well before the home stretch. Then football got interrupted and everyone had an unexpected months of rest. Season resumed and Leeds powered on. But you're absolutely right, this has less to do with them running out of energy and more to do with missing players they've been relying on to score goals. I still recall how in Liverpool's title win season, James bloody Milner was our top runner (most distance covered) and by the way some months before also the league's #1. For many seasons Salah's still the top runner among front 3 men, Firmino too when he was fully fit, that's because our attackers run back all the time to defend. Since KO-ing Arsenal in Carabao Cup, we've played 7 more games than them before the London win and still looked the more energetic in the final stages, so clearly, there is a physical ability to sustain. My issue was less about Bielsa running his men down, but his refusal to manage games. That's still not enough for me to replace him with Lasso too though. Huddles on the field is not going to magically conjure points because Leeds are anything but not a team oozing with unity and solidarity that is now in question because they lost their unifying soul in Bielsa. Side note: I found out from new Football Observatory stats that Premier League is not even the top 10 most running-intensive league in the world... I always believed they ran more but you apparently run 3kms more per team per game in La Liga.

So you said the first game started already, but I'm not sure where to find it. Googling NCAA shows me matches completed but using state names most so have to click each to bring out full details so I recognise teams. Now I know I should never refer to football teams by their nicks heh. How dare no one go against UCLA Bruins! As you can tell, Basketball idiot entering the fray. Selections as requested: One favourite out already (Rams) and one of my picks Broncos trailing 19-38 at HT so not looking good. - Creighton Bluejays
- Iowa Hawkeyes
- Miami Hurricanes
- Iowa State Cyclones
- TCU Horned Frogs
- Houston Cougars
Colorado State Rams- Ohio State Buckeyes
- Marquette Golden Eagles
- Murray State Racers
- Texas Longhorns
- Boise State Broncos
- Connecticut Huskies
- Michigan Spartans
- UCLA Bruins
And with a useless fact of the day: in my local language it translates into netball; in our neighbouring country, they decided to just call it ball in the same language but borrowed the entire foreign word of "basket"... I laughed so hard the first time I heard it as a 10-yr old.

Elon Musk is a great example of why should we NOT follow crypto influencers blindly. It doesn't really matters if he is holding his coins or selling them because the market will saturate. He has manipulated the crypto market many times and it shows why we should not trust him or fall for his tweets related to cryptocurrencies. He will be a good example in the history of bitcoin of why people should avoid crypto influencers.
But I'd like as many people to follow crypto influencers as blindly as possible. 2017 happened, the influencers crawled out of the woodwork, everyone went to hell after that but the cycle had ended, the weak hands began to purge, and we were given an incredible bargain sub 10k for so long. Every sat gained in that period is now worth so much more. The crap was rinsed out, cleansed, and what emerged after was so good it made the season ripe for influencers and Elon again. Time for another spring clean, why not?

When you hear a whisper in your ear as you place your bets, saying: "Juventus is done with their journey in this competition", but you get swayed by "value" odds, don't. I may very well have also Atletico to blame tonight since there is still a leg left, but Old Lady just has to accept, they really are just the imposters in Europe. And yes slaman, I not only got Ajax wrong, also Juventus. Arguably the 2 weakest teams on paper have progressed. Well done to them. QF draws tomorrow. England and Spain dominating. City* Real Bayern* Liverpool Chelsea Juve Villareal Ajax* Benfica Atletico*

Yeah I saw the MM as I was picking my 4-3-free selections for the City FA Cup tie (which of course will be won by Southampton after extra time). Wonder if anyone from forum won anything in the last one?
Anyway, here are mine, backing the bookies where underdogs are more than 10/1 to win, and selecting some special-sounding team names in the random spirit of Lady Luck!
What on earth is a Hokie?
