Take the advice, I parted out my 3 six gpu rigs. Getting under half what I payed for everything
I didn't roi due to electricity costs anyway.
Each 290 I sell nets about $230 after fees and shipping I paid $450 to $520 for my gpus ugh!
I'm directly converting them to hashlets , my way of staying in the game , sold about half mt gpus and I now have near 150mhz of scrypt hashes now pulling in around $40 per day
Far better than when all 18 of my gpus were hashing and I still have 12 more gpus to sell
Gpus are dead for mining guys

So gawminers is selling 100mhz of scrypt hashing power for $1600
At a host cost of .08 cents per mhz.
To the point where they are undercutting titans and even thier own lower
End scrypt miner due out in Sept.
Man the preorder game is such a joke right now, I think by next year all these hardware
Companies will just be selling cloud hashes. With all the delays and subterfuge
It might be the best thing for both parties.

To make it even worse they are letting people who bought gen2 scrypt miners like the
Zeus lightning's and gaw war machine at huge discounts upgrade to this new
Hashing service for free , so in effect you're getting 95mhz of hashlet scrip power for
~$1300.
So they get the hashes for less $ hosted per day and get to mine on the super profitable
Zencloud pool which was,supposed to be the advantage for folks who bought hashlet hashes

The actual number of paid GB machines were under 200
They won't ship last.
We'll compensate for the missing hash-rate, as explained.
We're honoring the 250 machines price point although less than 200 were actually paid.

No it won't! SP30 will ship next week. This. Also, spondoolies hasnīt been sitting idle and have been shipping and producing miners for most of August now. As stated, the groupbuy units were the most discounted as they are scheduled to ship last. Spondoolies has over 1000 units ordered for the 2 August batches, and producing them between 50-100 units a day takes time (- weekends etc.) what the hell do you mean scheduled to ship last !? I didn't see anything in the group buy info stating we would received our machines in September due to them being most discounted... So basically you are telling me now only will we receive 20% less hashing power than promised... we also receive our machines at the end of the line due to us all committing as a group to buy a large amount of boxes similar to what a large mining operation would order and thus get a bulk rate discount. The whole point of a GB is to allow the manufacturer to lock in their profits using economies of scale i.e. its more cost effective to produce 400 sp30s in a large batch than 1 here 2 there etc.: we save them money buy ordering in bulk and thus we get a group discount. What fine print are you reading I never read anything about us getting our machines last what the f is this all about ? |

Again, if you have a valid order, why donīt you just email spondoolies-tech with your order ID and kindly ask when your unit is scheduled for shipping?
I am sure it will be much easier to get your shipping date from a public forum, where spon needs to guess your order number, and whether you actually have an order.... \sarcasm

Got 7 war machines currently, and 2 smaller blizzard x6 2, that I used for proof of concept. Ill post some results in a couple of days.
jesus 7 war machines ? I purchased an X6 42MHZ and one war machine once I got paid today for $599. both from oneminer deals , the X6 activated but I am still waiting on the activation code for the war machine. When did you buy your 7 war machines ? and how much for each. |

seems like they have a new deal a war machine 54 MHz for 599 not sure if that's a good deal since it costs 4.41 to host
latewidow deal expired....  4.41/day is too high for 54mhz...you can better buy another x6 42mhz if there is a new deal. The war machine box pulls 1800watt vs,the 1000watt of the x6 thus the higher cost, but you pay $100 less for the war machine. On conwarz its pretty much close to a wash on profitability so I think either machine is fine |

Look for minersource on the spondoolies thread lol this thread is abandoned, everyone here got what the deserved, BA was an unknown company with no track record in producing 28 nm heck 55nm chips, anybyou guys are surprised they ripped you off???
Everyone knows the preorder game is a gamble, some got lucky with the knc Jupiter and early avalons, others got screwed by other vendors too many to name here.
I wanted to buy a bunch of x1s myself back in dec but it seemed too good to be true at the time and invested in gpus instead.

yes i bought it via oneminer deal for 699$ but imho the return is more stable next months than any bt miner.
I will add another x6 if i can get a good deal. There is no reason to buy any bt miner if i look at the calculation programs.

Right now my strategy is don't panic about the current price drops.
I also purchased some coins. Will monitor market closely. Only buy really good deals.
Thanks for answer. Bitcoins are limited so i hope we see increasing value in the future. Thats what i am speculating on. I would buy a second scrypt miner because i think that with the increasing difficulty its better to pump and dump new coins with those multipools. Or did i miss something here? right now x6 - 0.01523410 s3 - 0.01136633 estimated on nicehash the x6 cost is 499 after 30 days $1.10 a day fee the s2 cost is 499 after 30 days $ .90 a day fee so in 1 months time you will pay 20 cents a day more with the x6. most likely the x6 is better. the x6 costs 799 actually and is at 2.40 a day |

For planning purposes ... Can you tell us what order number you are currently shipping and when you expect to ship the balance of the Aug GB units?
Suggestion: In the order status, how about putting an "anticipated ship date"
or something on the website, "currently shipping order #"

I understand how painful it is to wait for ordered miners, but I am sure spondoolies is producing a quality product as fast as possible.
We all appreciate this thanks. However, that doesn't preclude them from publishing some estimations about where they are and where they expect to be at the end of the week. We are trying to make serious plans which are contingent upon these arriving. Open ended: after Aug 15th really screws our ability to operate with efficiency. ST knows when that group buy will begin to ship and approximately how many units per week are possible. Thus, they could be giving some pretty good guesses now as to where we all are. Silence is KnC's trademark. ST doesn't need to use their playbook. Let have some progress reports - even if they are not 100% Our margins are REALLY thin. In part this is due to a reduced hash rate. Careful planning is essential to squeeze out a tiny profit. I'll miss this tiny profit if I don't have the information which ST clearly knows. Why can't they just give us a better update on where we are and where we expect to be at the end of the next week? I'll end up paying an extra month rent if I don't get this right. Very well said |

So I have been reading the reviews that people have posted and decided to buy some machines, I went through the ordering process and decided to wire transfer the money but the bank that they want me to send to is in the Czech Republic and I am a little nervous about this.
Has anyone purchased from Spondoolies and made a wire transfer, was there any problems.

I own multiple sp30s and spondoolies is shipping every day now.
It takes some time to build ~1000 4.5TH miners.
It was obvious from the first day that groupbuy units would not be the first ones shipped in August.
There is frankly still a lot of time left in August and unlike other companies, spondoolies doesnīt only ship on the last few days of a month.
True enough. I know for a cold hard fact that those drunken Swedes spend the entire month of August throwing up in the streets of Stockholm. Nobody is getting a Neptune until after Sept 1. So, at least Spondoolies has some chance of getting some work done if a rocket doesn't hit them first. I was thinking the chips would arrive in mid July and we would have had our group buy units by now or at least by end of week. We don't even have an inkling of what order #s have shipped and how much time we have to wait , I tell you i will be pissed if my unit is delivered end of august i.e > 20th and the September units arrive in early September. Especially considering the fact that we paid more than them. |
