4921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BAKKT The Pump To November on: October 07, 2019, 12:10:12 PM
So looks like we're still BAKKT up guys and I zoom out the charts and check this shit out .... This may push the pump back until November!

BAKKT The Pump To November:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLT3tCMoXpU&t=150s
Not really fan on posting into some speculative threads specially if there are sentiments being tied up.I dont expect any pump's anytime soon and if theres one
then it wont really behave just like a spike rise but rather a gradual or slow pace if ever these a price increase.Dont hoping too much on what Bakkt would affect
the entire market condition but at least we've known that its there but for people shouldnt really hope too much.
4922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin price increase after successful halving of block reward., thoughts. on: October 07, 2019, 11:08:17 AM
With BTC there was only 2 halvings and both were bullish in hindsight.Everybody is assuming that history will repeat itself... but will it. Keep in mind that when too many people think of the same trade strategy it usually doesn't end up working. So May 2020 should be an interesting time.

there is a huge difference between bitcoih laving and other coins' halvings. and that is the demand factor.
all of these arguments about block reward halvings is about the "supply" being cut in half (the creation rate anyways) but the law is not supply only it is about supply and demand.

the only reason why bitcoin price has gone up after each halving is because the demand is increasing so when reward is halved the price should shoot up. but with altcoins there is not much demand so no matter what they do to the rate the price shouldn't change.
Demand is always tied up when we do talk about increasing prices and if we cant see such thing then it wont succeed. As said this will matter the most with supply and demand.
Bitcoin and Altcoin is totally different when it comes to demand thats why it aint surprising why alt halvings isnt the same with btc due to demand rate. There might be some few will support out but those are just speculators who took the risk and had thought that the price will shoot up yet they do try it with btc halving event but this one proves out that
it wont happen the same.

4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Poker vs Live Casino Poker on: October 06, 2019, 01:08:33 PM
Playing poker online or live poker isn't so easy because if you're on the poker table and facing real opponents then the pressure will belongs to you and do not forget that some of poker players have a habit bluffing with all in money or high bets so it will makes you under pressure for each rolls and to playing poker besides strategy and luck good mentally also required
And this is where they do differ and some gamblers do really love to experience the thrill and on spot socialization with other poker players. You wont be an experienced one if you dont able to meet up these different person on the table.Ofcourse you will able to see those bluffs and all in action and as you experience this in the long run it will help you out as a better poker player where you do apply those into your own game style.Yes, it isnt really that easy but this is more enjoying and entertaining than with online ones.
4925  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex's taking money from its customers to cover its loss on: October 06, 2019, 11:28:56 AM
4 months!
It was the 6th of June that Poloniex stole 1800 BTC them its customers.
This exchange still owes them more than 89% of that sum.
I will update this topic at least once a month to tell the world about it.

At least, the message is clear to all holders and investors, stay away from Poloniex.
I cant still believe that there still people who do believe out into this exchange?
Following up https://medium.com/circle-trader and https://twitter.com/poloniex if ever they would post out some updates.
I would keep an eye to this thread to see on what you've got.
4926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bank asking to provide additional details regarding my activity on: October 06, 2019, 10:31:20 AM
Hi there,

I am trading Bitcoin on LocalBitcoins and similar websites. My bank just sent me an email asking me to provide some details regarding the transactions in my account:

- Please explain the origin of the funds received from *Name Surname* (what goods/services the funds have been paid to the account for) and provide relevant documentation (contracts, invoices)

- Explain what kind of relationships you have with *Name Surname*

- what business activity I am engaged in

- From *date* you have sent *amount* to Kraken, Payward Ltd. Please explain the purpose of such transactions.

People send me money to my bank account, I send them their coins. What kind of explanation should I provide to these questions to ensure the sustainability of my account? Especially for the first question; we do not have any contracts, and the only documentation I can get is the invoices from the exchange. Should I be completely open with them or should I try to hide that I am selling cryptocurrency? Maybe there are someone who have had similar experience?

Edited: the country I am located in, crypto is completely legal.
Did you receive fund from LBC buyers? if yes you should check all ID of your traders.
What you said is right, if the user is from bitcoin illegal country it might generate them legal issues. Better is to inform the bank that those transactions were from friends for some reason. I encountered the same issue years back while I withdrew a big fund from my bank account. Further I mentioned it as a loan sanctioned amount for building house. Further they released the fund.
I have faced same issues as well where my bank do ask me out on where those big transactions came from but luckily i do have some closest friends inside the bank
which do save me up and didnt ask further more.I just mentioned that it was some sort of loan payment and later on i do make up some dummy
business.Yes, it sounds illegal but you should be wise on how to protect yourself on possible issues later on.
4927  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 06, 2019, 08:52:06 AM
^^ New set of players?

Never seen those names before, unless I'm mistaken. Nevertheless, bitdice is performing very well so I'm not surprised if we saw new whales or mid-tier gamblers shifting to bitdice, an established crypto gaming site that stood the test of time and even though there's a lot of competition around, we remain on top.  Smiley

New names doesn't mean new people, that the fact. In term of a business I don't think it perform well enough, it might be OK for a single man company but they have many employees...their total wager volume per week might need to be much more bigger than this.

Act fast, change fast, do it fast and make it Bitdice!

@docthusinh why’re you trolling here? In case you’re not aware then let me inform that you cannot create more than one account at Bitdice their system will ban duplicate accounts hence new user name means new people. Also another baseless statement from you regarding their earnings, they’re doing very well in their business so I would request you not to make statements like this.
Just to keep it straight and simple. - No gambling site would survive for how many years if they we'rent profitable on the first place.
They do know on how to play the game with this very saturated gambling and able to get some marketshare and thats already enough for you to consider that
they are going good.  Wink
4928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 06, 2019, 07:16:57 AM
To make it short, Spence purse will increase when he will fight pacman and manny might earn bigger as well.
But of course, we can't compare it to May Pac fight as that rematch would surely be a blockbuster, they will break their own record for sure.
Boxing is a business afterall so its no surprise that they would mind up those money on how much they would able to purse. Cheesy
While Spence is still on hype,he would make up or use that opportunity to fight up a popular fighter. We dont know whats actually on their
minds but making or pursing out millions is one of their priority for sure. For people above talking about Pacquiao and Garcia fight then i would like to see this rather
than with spence but well anything is on teams/admin decision.

With Spence's caliber he deserves to get a 7 digit check already. He holds a lot of belt so definitely his next fight should earn him a good chunk of money specially that there's a lot of hype around him, young champion and undefeated. But him getting Pacquiao next? Business wise he could get the biggest purse of his career simply because it is Manny. Boxing managers do set up their fighters to get the most money out of their fight so for sure they are going after Manny here.

Spence wanted to fight big names and he will not even back down if Mayweather will fight him which is less likely to happen as Mayweather are good in picking opponents that he thinks he can easily beat, Manny was an excemption since he was injured during their fight.

Back to Manny vs Spence, I think Manny's camp right now are already thinking of this possibility, this is good that Spence called Manny so we can only hope that Manny will agree,.. If he fought Thurman, I think there's a chance here.

Lets crossed out Mayweather on the list. There are some rumors that Crawford would be the next opponent of spence? Arrangements is really
unpredictable yet these promoters are do changed out fight arrangements.Manny and Spence still questionable but since its being talked about the there might be some
light for it to happen.Winning rate? Young champions are capable but wont really be that enough.

According to this list, Paycent is the only bitcoin debit card that is available to order worldwide. I would like to get some reviews from people who used it, preferably from users who are outside EU/U.S.
This might sounds an off one but seen up some users who do make use of this card https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2173711.1600 just read up a few pages back.
4931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement. on: October 02, 2019, 06:40:15 PM
Anyway, exchanges will come and go, as with any other ultra competitive niche business out there. If some of you think that the current big exchanges are unbeatable, well, remember that Binance pretty much dumpstered Bittrex in just a few years.
Yeah, remembering how Bittrex,Poloniex and Bitfinex is still flying with colors and Binance was just starting up.I didnt even expect that they would able to get or place themselves on the top. This proves out that anything can really be replaced in a matter of time but for Binance? They do know on how to handle the game.

Another exchange closed its doors and this is the reality of a very tough competition on exchange platform field.

Well competitive in developing exchanges is indeed quite difficult, especially exchanges now have increasingly innovative features. The right solution in competing is to always look for ideas that are innovative and needed by many people but are mutually beneficial and Binance has done it.

What is done by binance in defeating previous competitors should be a correction for new exchanges in the future to compete. See, Binance has had various innovations in recent years that have made its reputation even more popular.
Yes, they are making things that would make their exchange ahead on the competition and i cant really deny on what they had already been done.
When they are facing up some issues then they do make a way or solution right away which it do completely stop the possibilities for it to be an outdated one or
be reached up by other exchangers in rankings and as said they do know on how to play the game.

4933  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Discussion] Crypto VIP Program on: October 01, 2019, 04:31:07 PM
You can find all the details about "Huobi's VIP Program" in this post: https://huobiglobal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000536341-Huobi-All-Star-VIP-6th-Anniversary-Fee-Promotion

These fees are for VIP members who trade more than 1000 BTC, so if I have this money I am more concerned about the security than the fees.
Also, don't forget that trading volumes are in the thousands of bitcoin which means that any fees ratio should be very small, well below the figures above.

This fee is about $ 8,000 for a 12,500 BTC transaction.

I like this program and it looks spot on … Wonder how many whales are going to apply?  Where do most whales hang out at?
The question that cant be answered but for sure whales do exist and ask about on where they do hang out? Its the place where they can make out money.  Wink
As hugeblack said above where most whales will definitely look after security that on that VIP benefits yet we are talking multi-millions here.

4935  Economy / Gambling / Re: Email SCAM: "receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum With Bitcasino" on: October 01, 2019, 03:07:11 PM
I cant believe that in 2019 people still got scammed by e-mail... I thought it was an era of y2k.

How can scammers have a list of "pre-defined group of players" ? Did they have a man "inside" Bitcasino? What do you think ?
No surprise! even you do believe that majority is already wise and smart about scams there were always a dumb person who do easily believe out specially when talking with
good offers. Its already mentioned above and read it up again that their third party software been hacked thats why people able to received out those fraud email.
Good thing that they had able to stop and spot it out later on and also only a small amount of money where these scammers milked out.

4937  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you look for in a gaming platform? - Bojoko Article on: October 01, 2019, 02:13:05 PM
In my opinion, platform doesn't really matter as long as it is convenient and secure for gamblers to gamble to a certain casino. Most online casinos nowadays are accessible by mobile or desktop so gamblers can have a choice on what device that they will have to use when accessing the online casinos.
Correct, for a gaming platform its best when it can be played out on both pc and mobile but there were games which arent possible to be played on a mobile phone thats why we do see
some categories but this isnt really a serious matter though and as i believe that majority of us do have their own pc on home and have their own smartphones.
It will just vary on when and where you do plan or do like to play on.
4938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: October 01, 2019, 01:33:29 PM
I really think these IEO thing is only good for the top exchanges and these is because they have the liquidity and the traders to pump a coin after listing, which is why their IEO projects are usually successful.
But the smaller exchange don't have the same and their IEO success rate is no way near the top exchanges. Maybe 2 out of 10 IEOs conducted on the small exchanges would succeed, while top exchanges boast of a success rate of like 9 out of 10.

True you said that the most frequently successful IEOs are exchanges with good market backgrounds and these good exchanges are Binance, Kucoin, Bittrex, Okex, and Bitforex and some of them are not which is good for me because often the price of the token does not improve as it enters the platform exchange.

Reputation is always been tied up of exchange success on any field or new methods that being used on.Remember those ICO days where the primary target of project owners is to get listed on top exchange since they do know that it can boost up its prices and same goes with IEO thing where people will normally choose up those who are on the top
because they know that lots will be longing or to look after with those projects which they already presumed that it will really make up some decent profits
since volume or majority is trading up with those exchangers so its just normal to see on where would people go.
4939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be going up rapidly this morning on: October 01, 2019, 01:01:10 PM
There's a rainbow always after the rain and  It is really good to see that the market is in green again after the deep downfall but i think it is to early to conclude as we don't know that this might just a temporary rise up in which a big whales trap so better if we just observe the market movement for a while before we jump into conclusion.
We wont really able to hit up a conclusion yet market is always been unpredictable and volatile.Speculations would continue like forever yet we wont know
on where would prices would go.For a typical crypto market there would always be a rise after such slump of price and thats the basic of a market and this
is where traders do make money. It will just depend on when you do get in and get out and some are just playing out safe by simply long term hodling.
4940  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 01, 2019, 12:31:12 PM

@milewilda thanks again for this list and I can see HDF is back, that means we can expect whales to compete with each other. PowerHemp welcome here you’ll enjoy playing at Bitdice, also hoping to see your name on the leaderboard during the contests whenever they’re announced. @btc_angela I’ll agree with you and @slaman29 these whales play in a different league, but someday I hope we too will be able to play big bets like them.
Yes, i've notice it too since Hdf is been here on Bitdice for too long and now he came back.Quite surprised that there were new faces on the leaderboard which means Bitdice is doing pretty well to attract new players.

Yep, HDF is a beast, I do hope that he has a forum account though, at least we can also interact with him. Again, as I have said before, new faces come in and makes Bitdice their home because they know that they are in the good hands and they feel very comfortable that they are going to get paid here.
Talking about new faces then this week speaks for itself. lol
.. snip ..
I would consider this sharks, Lol, but definitely they are in and it's possible that they can be whales in the future specially if they won big and try to get into the next level of betting (1 BTC'ish)

@BTCevo -sometimes people are willing to try their luck and put everything in line, including those people who's salary are around $8k per year. If you are going around casino's lately (traditional based), I noticed a lot of people just looking for their luck regardless if they are making just $8k or $80k, in my opinion.
Its just the beginning of the week and its just normal to see those small numbers initially and you can point out which of them do plays bigtime or just on average but those numbers
arent really that something that anyone can reach out.

People do have different goals when they do gamble and their actions will vary on their financial capacity yet its dumb to go all in to gamble if you do know
that you are insufficiently funded or just simply fully relying on your salary on daily living.
