4921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sometimes hunters are to be blame on: April 14, 2020, 06:15:22 AM
its just sad to think that they should at least utilize their time into something more productive or to things that can give out positive outcome on due time.
People learn by making mistakes. I am sure many of them did learn, while some other just post their anger in different social media channels like the ANN threads, telegram channels, blaming the project or the bounty manager. The basic concept behind this is that free money is a gimmick and does not exist, in reality.

Quote
Im aint perfect too but i already learned enough and long time stopped on doing bounty hunting due to unprofitability reason. No one cant stop us in our actions but we should really be sensible or try to look around on whats the actual happening or chances on making money.
Good thing you changed your ways. Humans are slaves of their habits and being able to change your habit is worth some appraisal. Its not about profitability but about dignity that bounty hunters lose when doing bounties with full enthusiasm and being forced to sell off their KYC for the reward, which again ends up being worthless in the market.
4922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good new staking coins coming on the market? on: April 14, 2020, 06:06:51 AM
I see a lot of people are posting about PoS coins and staking coins but do you all realize that in general when you are storing your coins as a pledge/collateral to gain more coins as a "passive income", you are exposing your money to being stolen as well. More so if you have to send them to a wallet to store and not holding them in your own wallet. You are not in control of your private keys then.

The wallet software could be malware too, if you are not careful with using a sandbox to test it first. More so because everyone in this forum is looking for methods to make money and that allows hackers to set such traps.

Keep your view limited to bitcoin and you will be much safe. I have said this in many such threads previously as well, still I see newbies getting hacked and scammed.
4923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many new cryptocurrency exchange now, Are they safe to trade? on: April 14, 2020, 06:02:48 AM
so even if you only use Bitcoin but your country fiat is not supported in the exchange, you will find one that does right?
In such cases the is a problem for the trader. Either they have to stop trading and wait till a proper and well maintained exchange comes up that supports their local currency or withdraw their coins and use a P2P trade to clear out their coins and luiqdate to fiat currency, basically means ending their trading of crypto.

Now when a new exchange that supports their own country's fiat appears it would again be better to wait till they become established, get verified there and then use the same principle of not leaving coins on exchanges to be safe. Of course one can be never be safe of sudden hacks and exit scams when their orders are still on hold, but that how it is here.
4924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Business That Survives when a Crisis on: April 13, 2020, 05:37:49 AM
Those owner of the casino are don't have choice to closed or stop operating because that is from the government.
Unfortunealy they have to close business if the government asks them to. But the thing is that owners and investors need not worry since they are already rich as anything.

Quote
Online gambling owner are happy for sure it because most of the player play to their gambling site.
Not exactly. You have to understand that in order to run an online site you need to have land based developers, support teams and other humans involved in it. These people need to work as well. So if there is a lockdown and they can work from home then its good. But this leads to a lot of logistical problem to the team. Still it is possible to run the site like this.

There is a lot of advantages of playing online than old gambling.
That is the wrong way of thinking. There is both advantages and disadvantages. Learn to look at things from both sides of the spectrum. Wink
4925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 13, 2020, 05:27:06 AM
Inherent supply demand generation drives the price of any coin. If you a system of spending the coins on a certain service or marketplace and those services are very much in demand, maybe not pricey but needed in quantity then the demand for the coin will rise. This will also be propagated by good marketing methods of reaching out to those users who are going to use this coin to pay for the services. It is not a one word answer, in reality it takes a lot of work and often marketing is not done properly or the team does not agree on things.

Till date only bitcoin has been able to do this. Merchants have slowly started accepting bitcoin in many places and it is being bought and sold like this.
4926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: April 13, 2020, 05:22:01 AM
Im also been intrigue with this kind of method of trading and how it works for example you've borrow $1000 and got busted with no money to pay, how would the exchange charge you, if you can just leave the site instead ?
Nah it is not that easy. To open up a margin trading account they will ask you for some more stuff like some coins as collateral to be stored against which you are taking the loan in the form of leverage. If it was that easy to defraud the exchange then margin trading would not exist at all. You will lose that money if you exit the site. You would otherwise have to pay it from your pocket. Also there are liquidation fees to stop your position from getting liquidated during the run.

Besides exchanges make a lot of money from selling their margin trading service to the people who are ready to gamble on market positions compared to what they make on spot trading.
4927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many new cryptocurrency exchange now, Are they safe to trade? on: April 13, 2020, 05:15:48 AM
Do not use new exchanges, there are high chances of hacks and exit scams, top exchanges are the best and just because they are the best do not leave your coins on them, anything can happen, your coins will be more safer in your wallet
The demand for the newer exchanges comes from the fact that some investors want to take the risk with newly launched currencies. These ICO/IEOs need to list themselves somewhere due to public demand and thus they have to fund it too. So now the newer exchanges give them a easy deal than Binance who asks for huge listing fees. Thus the partnership between a new token for a new exchange happens and leads a lot of exchanges popping up everywhere.

If you are into bitcoin trading only then you will not face these problems which is IMO the safer and more sane way to trade here. More you get into the newer shitcoins, more you are taking risks.
4928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: April 12, 2020, 06:53:19 AM
I voted for sports betting, it doesn't matter if you are a newbie as long as you understand what you are doing.
But how do you expect a newbie to know about sports betting right away? There are so many terms that they need to first learn and be acquainted with before they can even start deciding whom to bet on. Not doing so means a higher risk of losses.

Of course one can say, "why think so much just bet on this guy because he looks good" - but that approach will make it not more than another trial at luck or an EV- game like dice.

Quote
Winning or being consistent will not happen overnight, it will take time but at least when you start your journey being a sports betting, you can grow here by developing your skills, other games that you just rely on luck to win, you don't grow there, so don't be serious with those kinds of games.
So does dummy betting not seem a good option like dummy trading? You wont lose any real money but the player will understand the essence of sports betting. Th greed it easy for taking over so it needs a method to be kept in control and discipline.
4929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading. Where to start? on: April 12, 2020, 06:47:07 AM
in my opinion, it is difficult to trade because of the large amount of capital and collateral, don't bet your money on a doubtful transaction to avoid high risk.try to choose bitcoin for a long term investment.
These are difference in opinions and methods you know. Spot trading vs Margin trading is a debate and this never ends. Some people like to take risks and try the gambling portion that options and futures provide them while some try to hold it as an asset and sell or buy to profit. While the market is being stagnant or not moving much up or down the spot traders are basically helpless and not having any trade to do because for them to make a profit they need the high upswing to sell or high downswing to buy.

So there comes the demand for another method of making money which is Margin. Thats how this has developed and mind you volume of margin trading is way more than Spot trading in average.
4930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many new cryptocurrency exchange now, Are they safe to trade? on: April 12, 2020, 06:42:36 AM
Since there is a lack of regulation and legal lacking in cryptcurrency and its trading, you have to assume that every exchange is going to scam one day and then decide how to proceed. The ones who have established business and a registered business somewhere on the mainlands can be trusted to a larger degree than the ones running from less known island/offshore businesses - which is done for several reasons one of which is tax evasion.

Now for new exchanges you are always at risk of them being scam. So dont use them as soon as they start but wait for others to review it and also check the legitimacy of these reviews.

For established exchanges, use the exchange as long as you need to trade. Once you are done trading withdraw your coins.
4931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: April 12, 2020, 06:36:53 AM
Under current market circumstances, it is difficult to manage detailed risks, it is much easier to generalize them.
Right now the only risk is chance of going down. Market is recovering though the world will take longer time to recover.

Quote
I mean that you should lay the worst possible outcomes of events that are possible on the market, and be guided by these catastrophic scenarios as your own risks in the process of your investments.
If you really do that then you will never be able to make a proper sane decision on how to buy or sell. Anything can happen but just because a pandemic is currently happening does not mean it will happen every other year. But the market will have a bad effect on the economy. There can be calculated risks but not an overtly outlier risk calculation.

Quote
In this case, you will always be ready for the worst, which means you will not get into a situation where you do not know what to do next.
It seems ideal that way but it is way more complicated if you jump into the real thing even with a lot of analysis and charts at hand. Wink
4932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 11, 2020, 07:14:10 AM
it doesn't matter if we use crypto  it will not eliminate drugs and alcohol, because its a different problem from gambling addiction,
The simple explaination is that human vices are not dependent on the currency used to pay for them but their inherent habit of being addicted to them.

Quote
it should be deal by the family because i think that's the only way to solve it, gambling addiction may be also a discussion in the family, crypto currency is made for fster transactions and using paperless payments for faster transactions but not with a person's personal and health issue or problems.
I believe cryptocurrency has a much bigger platform of usage maybe not currently and since gambling has been found to be the biggest method to spend crypto second to trading, that is why see such outcomes. However in future I do expect the acceptance of crypto into many other merchants and people using it so this graph might change a lot.

Of course if gambling becomes a problem them they have to deal with the addiction. If they run out of crypto, they will look for fiat, there is no end to the cycle unless the person is determined to keep it under control.
4933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: April 11, 2020, 07:09:46 AM
they are only good at making speculations and nothing else.
Something that even a layman can do after knowing the meaning of every term and having watched the market for a month or so. Then they go on advertising themselves as some financial advisor. Suddenly this person is so famous because they run a telegram group and gives out free and premium technical advise. Sounds familiar? Its the same scam some people have been pulling off. The worst thing is that they even give out their premium "advise" for free after a while once people have paid for it. Nice way to scam.

Quote
I am not going to be mentioning their names, but they are the ones that will come on Twitter and say that the price of bitcoin will soon reach $500,000 and be deceiving people and when things don't go as they have said, they start whining that bitcoin is fake lol.
There are also the propaganda shills who plague reddit and make r/btc sound like r/conspiracy.
4934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: April 11, 2020, 07:03:20 AM
Only those who have previously invested in very risky ICO projects invest on such exchanges. There is a category of people who have a very weak mind and therefore they believe in the promise of big earnings and time after time lose their money, while they convince themselves that they are simply not lucky.
They are the ones who buy into these schemes and get scammed off their money or go down an unending spiral of downtrend in the market while holding on to a shitcoin whose owners told their investors to f-- off and go away. Thats how this ICO thing works and has worked till date. People want to take the risk of money money but do not know the consequences or the legal aspects of such sales.

But the trend has reduced to some extent in the recent years and I hope to see a gradual regulation about crypto and its sales along with exchanges who are running IEOs or asking for huge sums of money for listing coins.
4935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One of the Best Weapons in Trading on: April 11, 2020, 07:00:20 AM
Perfect technical analysis, this very useful when you are using a trading bot and you know when to stop-loss by having a right manual set on the trading bot.
Bots have built in stop loss options to be set by the user. But you can always trade without a bot and setting a stop loss, if the platform you are trading on has such an option during placement of the order.

Quote
We all know that the crypto market is very volatile but at least we can create technical analysis like this that maybe possibly gives an accurate result. Predicting is useless if you don't have technical analysis.
Technical analysis does a 50-50 thing to prediction. It does not always predict the market correctly because of several variables being into action and many news and partnerships happening between companies that makes the market move. TA is based on the assumption that market is trading as per an undeviating market psychology, which is not always true. You can buy low and sell high but you wont need TA to tell you that. TA is used more by the day traders.
4936  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Recharge for BTC on: April 10, 2020, 02:09:48 PM
Can i recharge any mobile number outside the country using Bitrefill ?
If the carrier is listed on Bitrefill then you should be able to recharge it. But for a more specific answer I suggest asking the Support chat on their site or their Telegram group admins.

Link to telegram group is in the previous message.

They have an account here too you can try PMing them - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=389306
4937  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: April 10, 2020, 06:43:21 AM
but nobody can exclude Fiat currency because it exists within the market
Crypto also exists within the market, if I am understanding your statement correctly. It is just that crypto has a cult followership and not a bigger market share than fiat.

Quote
you're right that crypto was already fiat
That is a wrong usage of words. Fiat is used to denote the currencies that these world countries have been using as mostly paper bills and includes the digital payments too that are in those currencies. Bitcoin came in 2009 and then it was an alternative method of transaction.

Quote
and employed by people Fiat lost its place after the crypto arrives but now many are fiat currencies.
Wrong statement. Fiat never lost its place but lost a very small part of its market that was taken by crypto. But that small part is almost negligible as per statistics.

Quote
That's why we both need work If crypto may be a fiat currency then we'll be privately owned in two ways.
A decentralized currency cannot be privately owned but a centralized currency is controlled by certain institution(s). That is why the community likes to go for the decentralized coins like BTC over the centralized ones like Ripple.
4938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: April 10, 2020, 06:36:12 AM
I recommended to you instead of investing your money to the gambling websited who have investment platfroms why you should invest and buying more coins to the market because price of the coins dumped so it is one of the good time to have coins and personally when I compared my earnings to the gambling investment to the trading I earn more a lot of being a trader.
In this situation where the markets have tumbled and uncertainty is in the air, the safer mode of investment if you have liquid cash at hand is the passive income method and the only one such method which is a legitimate one and not a scam is the casino bankroll investment. The reason is because of the lockdowns in many countries people are looking for methods to kill time and dont bother spending some money for that. That is why the usage of online streaming services have increased and the use of online gambling sites.

The gamblers who are at home currently will spend on gambling and thus chances of their losses is more. If you bank on the casino right now you have a good chance of making a good profit out of your premium investment - you will understand this if you know about casinos bankroll investment system.
4939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Compliance exchange or decentralized exchange, which one do you prefer? on: April 10, 2020, 06:31:32 AM
There are more and more centralized exchanges, but less and less trust. Which one do you prefer between regulated compliance exchanges and decentralized exchanges?
How about waiting it out till there appears some regulation among crypto exchanges as what should be the average listing fees and the average listing time. We have seen exchanges cheat on ICO project owners, even if the latter are nothing but scams, asking for exorbitant sums of money for listing their coins. They have no chance but to move to a less known more suspicious exchange for allowing trading of their coin.

Decentralized exchanges do avoid this situation but the scams will never decrease. Since the owners of DEXs remain anonymous in most cases they are hard to track down without cybercrime support. Even then recovering the funds is something that nobody is capable of without bruteforcing the private key.

The legal aspects of usage and trading of crypto is what is needed next before anything can be done in this sector.
4940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help in baunty. on: April 10, 2020, 06:26:08 AM
I understand that, I just have more confidence in bitcointalk companies than in cheap telegram advertising posts.
You are new and thus filled with this false sense of enthusiasm.

Let me tell you that scams are not moderated in this forum and anybody can create a scam ICO and collect the KYC data of thousands of "bounty" hunters of this forum many of whom are legitimate people in the pretext of giving a big reward for those who complete the procedure.

What happens after that is the account who promised this reward goes AWOL leaving no trace of data anywhere and the bounty hunters are left hanging. What essentially happened is an identity theft and their KYC data is now up for sale on dark net markets.

Would it not better for you to not participate in bounties that ask for KYC? Thing is they do this after the bounty tasks are completed, so from the hunters perspective, after doing so much work, they just want the reward - the scammers are looking for this desperation and banks on it. This is how grim the situation is.
