Always wanted to start my own mining trip, but I don't seem to know how to start. I tried to find a thread that could enlighten me. I can't find what I want. I can't understand too many people's ideas and suggestions, yes they are too powerful. who can help me? what should I do???
If you can't understand others' ideas, don't seem to know how to start and need somebody to enlighten you then mining is not for you my friend. It is hot, noisy, expensive, time intensive, very competitive and not very rewarding at all. Best advice I can give you is to stay away unless you have nothing better to do. You're going to need at least - A Computer (with, at the very least, a decent CPU)
- Mining software
- A Mining Pool Account (not likely you'll have to firepower to mine solo)
- A Crypto Currency Wallet (not a good idea to leave your coins online in the pool's wallet)
- time (to do some research)
Your electricity bill is going to increase. Do the math first so you (or your parents, landlord, significant other) wont be caught off-guard.

Thanks! Good information in those links. I had to go to bed early though - last day of the school year, excited child, no rest for the wicked etc... Actually, this info was in the barrons link mymenace posted last night though the article you posted is perhaps slightly more detailed.

Should we be rating these answers? Some of them are not very accurate.

Ok. I will learn to steal groceries. Let's do this thing. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Are we so poor now? Damn, this is getting ugly too fast. Guys, we don't need to resort to theft; there is food for hodlers: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FUpAS789.jpg&t=663&c=MAE9Ag6JVwpkpw) ...and less sodium means less blockchain bloat.

Dude, we've already visited the China/bicycle issue in this thread; been there meme'd that. Try to keep up! I don't really have a need for a surplus bike atm... too bad the bicycles weren't Bitcoin. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F0asnJtH.jpg&t=663&c=9JpHMAh4T72GBg) ...dreaming

Just as the Subject says, Cos I have come across may cryptocurrency traders made mention of the subject for example it moves "100 Sats, 50 Sats" etc. either in their YouTube, blog or forum post, but not very clear what it means.
Or is it just as it is in Forex where we hear it moves for example "100 PIPs". please can anyone shade more light on this.
Then if SATs in cryptocurrency is just like PIPs in Forex how can one determine how many SATS a trade has move.
Thanks in advance
If you're talking about Altcoin trading for Bitcoin, it refers to the Satoshi which the smallest denomination of a Bitcoin and is equal to 1/100,000,000 of a Bitcoin.

Hello guys. I have more than 38 post but the activity shows only 28... what's going on with my account? Admin can you helo me please? regards
There is no problem with your BCT status. You can't post your way to success - you also have to put in the time. Less posting, more reading is required: Read this and be enlightened! sorry, maybe I don't understand but : The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts) Activity is updated every hour. my account isn't updated from 2 days now. How many two week periods have you posted since you created the account?! I can only see one but it's possible it straddles two... 2X14 = 28 Not sure how many you think you should have...

I have had trouble finding a way to explain to others what bitcoin is in an easy-to-understand, straightforward way that really encompasses all of what bitcoin is not just parts of it.
Perhaps it really can't be explained in a short, simple way that incorporates everything that bitcoin is, but I am hoping someone here might be articulate enough to do so.
I'd really love to have one sentence that is able to do this. Hope you can provide it!
I remember this question before but it was a competition with a prize of 1 Bitcoin! Here it is - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1261106.0

what's the blue line?
Some sort of rocket fuel I suspect.

hhhh, I think what you're asking for is the fastest way to transfer tokens. But I don't think there's anything faster than paper money. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) An certainly not with zero transaction fees! Transaction costs cannot possibly be lower... unless there is a coin that pays you to use it?
|
|
|
So what's the best coin to buy a cup of Coffee with? Transaction cost must not be expensive and the transaction must complete before the Coffee gets cold... To get the freshest, hottest cup of joe with zero tx fees, you would use Yen in Japan, Yuan in China, Ringgit in Malaysia, Rubles in Russia, USD in America, CAD in Canada, EUR in the Euro zone, Lek in Albania, Lei in Romania and Pula (lol) in Botswana <- that's funny if you know Romanian language. Sorry, too many coins to list. If you want to be specific about where you're buying your coffee, it would be easier to assist you. edit: here's a list of all currencies you can refer to - https://www.countries-ofthe-world.com/world-currencies.html

Thanks! Having a unique tool specifically for removing screws is much easier than following guides, in my own opinion. This extractor looks quite affordable, and I'm going to buy one to remove the broken screw on my laptop ASAP. I very appreciate this! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If you have a small saw you can cut the threads back into the head of the screw and then use a flat headed screw driver instead
Thank you, my friend. I'll keep this in mind when removing broken screws. Once I find the perfect solution among the ones given to me here, I'll give you guys an update over here. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) You will have to drill a pilot hole into the screw to use that extractor. This will be tricky since it appears to be a flat-head screw so there's no divot in the center of the screw which means your drill bit could wander when you attempt to drill the pilot hole.

So some of y'all might recall a post of mine a while back.
Essentially, I had a discussion back in September with my employer about my eventual retirement. We decided that end of 2018q2 would work for all involved.
Now that I'm in my last week as a wage earner, it's starting to feel pretty surreal.
kampai!
Time to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Congratulations!

Doesn't uttering, let alone selling, the bb phrase on this forum earn an instant banhammer nuke from orbit? It's the most tired insult rolled out by zero post bear zombies. It must be the ultimate BTC taboo.
+1 simply mentioning the name Tulip the Pig could cause Bitcoin to implode! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FPqEuC4m.gif&t=663&c=GJ7YWng0cYWnhQ)
