4961  Economy / Securities / Re: Weexchange/Bitfunder User Deposit Addresses. Where are the coins "gone"? on: February 22, 2014, 05:35:52 PM
5000+? It would be unlikely that those were the funds of one private person only because it was practically the who weexchange wallet. But i dont see where you got the 5k from.
I deducted (apparently wrongfully) from misread and imagined from klabaki post that 19ENd was tied to a known address of Ukyo (one he used for refunding the 6%).
I'm sorry (and sorry I spent so much time, and bothered so many people, too  Undecided)

I doubt that too many people read this thread at all but i made errors in this too already.

Looks like this forum lawyer isnt in the forum anymore at all. No reaction to pm nor email. I wanted to ask him if he thinks he can get more information in case there is a gag order. Or if there is a gag order at all.

If eASIC is 5-10 times as expensive as the other choice then yes it would make sense to forego the eASIC NRE cost and go with another company. I assume Ken wanted to go with eASIC but they simply were not competitive with their 28nm Full-Custom pricing and likely made Ken go with certain Fabs/Packages at a premium.

I'm happy that we got away from eASIC for a Full-Custom as their only purpose was the Nextreme quick to market niche that was passed up already.

Hopefully Ken can get back the majority of the NRE.

You think eASIC can be 10 times more expensive than competition? And you think a competition that costs 10% is anything near the quality work of eASIC? I know personally from calling companies who sell ASIC developing software for 28nm ASIC that this software costs a fortune. I was checking out the prices and investments needed for creating a own ASIC that time. Even when you rent the software only its very expensive. Its not going to happen that you find a company that is 10% or at least 20% of the eASIC price. If you do its most probably a scam. Or why do you think ken would have gone through the hassle to collect 10 times more bitcoins to be able to use eASIC then?

If eASIC couldnt create a full custom from the start it was a big misjugdement of ken to chose them. And theres the next point... you know that normal asics have one or two layers with standard routines included? Those can be used by the remaining layers to run the calculations. When you take them away you have to build even more logic than you would have with normal ASIC's. You cant await that it gets cheaper that way. At least i dont see that a company offering that is legit since other companies would use them then too and because of the demand they would raise their price. Its not like ASIC-Developers are sitting around workless.

I think buyers should calculate themself if its worth to buy miners. A link to a proper calculator might be helpful for noobs though.
At the end... only because Asicminer was the first in the market, and started with the target to do what they did, means that they destroyed mining? It was simply inevitable. It doesnt matter who did it. It would have happened anyway.
4964  Economy / Securities / Re: Weexchange/Bitfunder User Deposit Addresses. Where are the coins "gone"? on: February 21, 2014, 08:54:12 PM
I googled every input from this TX with no luck.
https://blockchain.info/tx/1e3198fd649c8d67d197bb754a344790c5d4c22fbdd45753f7d2afbb66f0dc6e

Transisto is still the only one to know who the 19ENd address belongs to... And he does not seem to be very active, unfortunately.

... 19ENd is DeadTerra / IceDrill address.

Can you show a website or something that proofs this?

It is almost 100% sure now that 5000+ coins went from an address owned by Ukyo to an addresss owned by DeaDTerra (for IceDrill investment).

5000+? It would be unlikely that those were the funds of one private person only because it was practically the who weexchange wallet. But i dont see where you got the 5k from.

John K should probably be removed from this until further notice.

I often gets escrows from people that write me they tried JohnK but he didnt respond for days. Im not sure if he isnt doing it anymore but it looks he dont have much time anymore/has other priorities. Maybe its better to first ask him before removing him since he is a really old and trusted escrow.

Read this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412061.0

He's been MIA with the funds of a raffle that should've been paid out.

Hm... i know him from the time when he had a good responiveness... i wonder what he does now...
4966  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: February 20, 2014, 11:15:07 PM
Recover most sounds to me like Ken plans to make this loss back from future profits. Might be im damaged of Ken's past use of rhethorics so that i read the worst in it.

So you think he means that eASIC is paying the costs back? I wonder why they should. And "most" is a very flexible term which in the worst case might mean nearly half of the funds are lost.

Oh well... maybe im really too cautious... but then... its Ken... oh... its a rhyme... must have something...  Tongue
4967  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: February 20, 2014, 11:07:32 PM
did we lose the eASIC "MILLION DOLLAR" NRE?

We are expecting to recover most of the eASIC NRE.

Am i understand that correctly that you already paid 1 million USD for 28nm to eASIC and now this goes to waste because you want to use a different engineering company?
If so what is so important that its worth that price?

Abgesehen davon brauchst du Personal mit entsprechender Sachkunde, sprich: Bänker, und wer will sich mit denen abgeben? Roll Eyes

Ooch... da gibts schon Mitarbeiterinnen mit denen willst du dich definitiv abgeben... Smiley

It would help when ukyo would explain what progress he makes all around.

In Zypern will NEOBEE ja auch eine Bank gründen. Soweit ich gelesen habe dürfte das Unternehmen dann auch so ziemlich das stärkste Zyperns sein... Smiley Kleines Land halt. Mal sehen wie das dort läuft. Dann könnte man gleich von deren Fehlern lernen.

Falls das hier mal konkret wird könnte ich mir auch vorstellen zu investieren.

@SebastianJu:  Wrong thread.
You're thinking of Active Mining, the other honest business that failed.

Right... i mixed that.

If you are from the US contact the FBI with all the details of the theft $50K theft is enough to get there attention.

http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/cyber

Right... scammer should learn that Bitcoin isnt the wild west. Im supporting the lawsuit and investigation against the labcoin scammers too.
Unfortunately such investigations lead to news of the dangerous bitcoins. But better this then letting the scamming going on without fighting them.
4974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AvalonShenzhen BATCH4 - 25 Avalon 215GH/s BTC1.10 - SCAM!!! on: February 16, 2014, 02:12:12 PM
Curious why the BTC is still at the order addy.  https://blockchain.info/address/1Mzyo7PYfsxNLyNWhnznUYfiX1Kf6LFqkh

why was it not transferred to other addys? Huh

IMO this, more than anything else! is evidence of why BTC will fail. Here we have a situation where there is a known thief and the money he stole is able to be traced and still there is nothing that can be done to return it to its rightful owners.
Gee if only there was some kind of centralized management of this stuff maybe the poor souls (me included) could get back their funds from this low life.

Such centralized management would mean bitcoin could be attacked and closed down easily. And the chargeback could be used by scammers again, like its done with paypal. I would never sell bitcoins for paypal because the chargeback feature would let you with nothing at the end.
So no, i never want to see Bitcoins becoming a Paypal...
Like Ahmed wrote... everyone here probable made errors already, including me, but there are ways to protect yourself.
4975  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 15, 2014, 09:11:06 PM
...
Right. And how smart is it to inform the authorities now? You wrote to demand back all the invested money. That wont happen like you wrote already now. So whats the best move?

Again... it isnt to kill VMC now because most of the money is gone and invested already. It is not selling all shares becaus there arent enough buyers. So the only sane solution would be to hope that Ken will at least earn back most of the coins.
So all your suggested legal attack at this point is not the best solution from an investors view. Might be it will solve your revenge wishes but your wallet wont be happy... if youre an investor at all.

Though i think i wrote that often enough already...

Sebastian, the problem with your logic is it breeds thieves and scammers.
If your reasoning is sound, the only thing I'd have to do after stealing money from you is give you a hope of seeing some of it back.

People do not report murderers in hopes of raising the dead.  They do it to see murderers hang, to reminding budding murderers that crimes have unpleasant consequences.

Right... you only want revenge. You gave up hope already and youre convinced its a scam. Fine then sue. But most of the shareholders i know think this isnt a scam since eAsic is involved for sure. Only Ken screwed things a lot. That means we wont make riches anymore.

If this would be a scam you think it would matter if you sue him now or in 3 months? Explain why that would be. If i would be a scammer i would be gone with the bitcoins shortly after collecting them. I would have waited until i washed them and i would have made sure you cant catch me. So your sueing would be pointless. So when you sue him now you take advantage of the point that Ken is a real person and he most probably tried a real thing. Sorry... your behaviour doesnt make sense. I think youre so furious that you cant think calmly and beat around you in the hope things get better. Though that never helps.
I really would appreciate if people would be a little bit more levelheaded. You cant sue in months the same way like now. Ken wont run away... and when he really wanted to scam you can be sure that he already would be gone when you check this and try to sue him. Sorry... your argument makes no sense.

Again... it isnt to kill VMC now because most of the money is gone and invested already. It is not selling all shares becaus there arent enough buyers. So the only sane solution would be to hope that Ken will at least earn back most of the coins.

Hope? Hope is your plan?

Good luck with that.

Like eduardo said, letting them get away with it because you hope they might find a way to get you back pennies on your dollar lets the next batch of scammers and thieves come along and try it, because they know already how it will work out if they run away with the money.

The answer i gave above accounts for you too. Please be a little bit more levelheaded. Your fear of losing your bitcoins shouldnt lead to exactly that result. Crashing VMC with sueing VMC exactly would have this result. And THEN you would get pennies on your dollars. Or do you think Ken will somehow, after VMC is liquidated, be able to create back your bitcoins?

I really dont know what you guys think where youre bitcoins should come from. But i guess you dont even think about that. You are so furious that you want to do something and dont realize that this is the worse option.

Sueing ken doesnt run away. If he cant deliver in some months youre still able to sue him.
4976  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: February 15, 2014, 07:24:24 PM
I spoke to him on Skype earlier. Things are progressing but my guess is it'll be a fair while yet unfortunately. As has been said before, some things are out of his hands and they impact the time period involved. Don't ask me how long or if it will work out because I don't know. As long as I feel there is progress then I'll wait.

I'm still curious ffssixtynine, what dog do you have in this fight, and how are you able to have the same info as Uyko?

Are you guys business accociates, or just friends?

He was part of the advisory board at some time. Ken didnt hear what the members wanted anymore so the board was crashed. But it seems ffssixtynine still knows some people to have a bit more info.

...and realize that ALL OF YOU should be contacting the authorities and demanding ken refund your deposit value at the beginning...

*facepalm* The delusional powers are strong in you...

What part of what I said was delusional? The only delusional people are the ones who think this was a valid way to invest in a company and that they will be getting dividends, or own some actual shares of this company.

Now youre right again. You need a big portion of luck to make a profit with these kind of investments. And it doesnt look for me like that will be the case anymore. But its delusional to first invest in such a game and then to await that big papa government can make everything ok again by somehow making ken give all invested coins back. That wont ever happen. If at all one could await back a fraction of his investment. Ken most probably will never be able to create the amount of bitcoins to pay everything back on his own. So "demanding" sounds childish somehow. Like you only have to demand it with a strong voice and all bad things go away.

Sorry... you cant be realistic in judging this venture more as a gambling than an investment and at the same time dream that it somehow would be possible that ken can give back all coins now.

Guess what, demanding that you get your money back is just the first step in litigation. Slap yourself in the face a few more times to realize that I didn't think people actually will GET any money back. You have to ask to know of course.

Right. And how smart is it to inform the authorities now? You wrote to demand back all the invested money. That wont happen like you wrote already now. So whats the best move?

Im not sure why drof69 asked me to wait for his payment. I only can guess that someone tried to scam and claimed i will do escrow. Edit: Probably drof69 took my username on mistake. Though the following warning is still valid...

Guys... please ALWAYS use an escrow and NEVER send bitcoins to a bitcoin address you didnt get directly from the escrow. A quote can be faked by a scammer easily. So ALWAYS ask the escrow to send the address directly. An escrow will NEVER let a seller send an escrow address in a quote only. He will send the escrow address directly to the seller and the buyer. Only then all involved parties can be sure that everything runs correct.

Why should doog put his bitcoins in now? Maybe those are bulls only. You know... nakowa winning draws players... investors winning draws investors...
