named the 'satoshi'
Confirmed: 1 satoshi = 1 microbitcent (smallest denomination)
100 million satoshis = 1 bitcoin
Are we agreed?
Technically this guy beat you to it: For the purpose of this discussion, suppose a millionth of a bitcoin is called a satoshi.
As far as the whole second wave down thing is concerned... I honestly give it about a 20% chance of occurring. I'm talking about the stock market plummeting below recent lows and dragging bitcoin (and the whole of crypto) along with it. I've read all the bearish analyses and commentary comparing this action to that of 2008 and 1929, in that there is always a bounce ("return to normal" phase) before the real crash. However, what's different this time around is the fed rushing to immediately inject trillions of capital into the markets. Anything that is at risk of sinking, the fed is ready to prop it up by printing more cash. "Can't fight the fed," as they say.

But it's real, right.. let's believe what legal propaganda says and not what I witness with my own eyes.. That's the problem. You're only considering what you can see with your own eyes to be relevant. You're assuming the situation that you are experiencing locally applies to the rest of the world. It does not. I'm not going to try to change your mind about believing in whatever conspiracies you want to. Its tiring and this isn't even the right part of the forum for that kind of thing. Plus, I can't wait until the acronym "MSM" falls out of style. Its beyond obnoxious at this point.

Then maybe the moderators here will decide to stop deleting my posts. The forum rule is no posting twice in a row under 24 hours. If a fresh thought crosses that genius brain of yours and you have to let us know about it, just edit your last post if its the last post in the thread. If somebody else posts after your post, no need - you can make a new post - and it won't be deleted. I've explained that to hv_ at least 4 times but its more fun to pretend you are a victim of the Blockstream Conspiracy than actually acknowledge the rules of the forum.

No, I quite doubt that he would. But I can ask him if you really care. Again, Why would Satoshi threaten to dox himself?
|
|

If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
Oh brother. Why would Satoshi threaten to dox himself? Can you answer that? Clearly you weren't dealing with Satoshi, if anybody at all. Smoking pot while reminiscing about what great pals you and Satoshi were, also inferring that he was killed and his body found covered in feces... all just to promote your altcoin? I would say it was bizarre if it wasn't also pretty low.

My friendship with Satoshi is clearly documented unlike those here promoting the Blockstream agenda. You can't just friend yourself! An action has to be taken on HIS end! https://p2pfoundation.ning.com/friends/SatoshiNakamotoSo please go crawl back under your rock until you educate yourself. It's nice to have facts before accusing others of lying. The fact is Satoshi had been long gone from the public by the time you added him as a "friend" on the P2P Foundation website. His P2P Foundation account was hacked sometime in 2014, so whoever "added" you was the hacker, who incidentally used the website to post as Satoshi and threaten to dox him if he wasn't paid some BTC. This was the message he left using Satoshi's account on the P2P Foundation on September 9th, 2014: Dear Satoshi. Your dox, passwords and IP addresses are being sold on the darknet. Apparently you didn't configure Tor properly and your IP leaked when you used your email account sometime in 2010. You are not safe. You need to get out of where you are as soon as possible before these people harm you. That is who you were "friends" with. Maybe you just weren't aware of it, but this occurred over 5 years ago you should have brought yourself up to speed on the matter in this time before attempting to pretend Satoshi was your "friend." LOL. He's your friend about as much as Tom from MySpace is my friend. The hacking incident was even mentioned on the forum while you were a member.

Not exactly sure what you are doing here but I notice you keep editing your posts and putting in higher numbers than the original. Any reason for that in particular?

From my private inbox. Imagine if your relationship depended on bitcointalk merits
That is a bit horrifying, but its considered impolite to publish other peoples' PMs. He wrote to you in confidence. I would honestly just tell him to concentrate on writing more informative posts, but start by reading as much about crypto as he can before he tries. Right now his posts are pretty shit. He has no idea how this whole thing works, but he's looking to you for advice.

but the bit your missing is fact checkers and people currently in the finance system of hospitals have been quoted as saying that hospitals dont get a 3x payment for just writing covid19 on a discharge form its also said that its not a simple one lump sum one size fits all payment
Hospitals can get 3x payment if a covid-19 diagnosis changes the surgical procedure payment bundling from regular treatment to treatment "with complications." This type of reimbursement manipulation has nothing to do with extra services or equipment and everything to do with diagnosis. Hospital payments are made according to what are called Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs). For example, treatment of a hospital stay for lung infection is billed by line item: - type of hospital room used - drugs administered - medical supplies - procedures performed by doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, radiologists, etc. The claim is sent to the insurance company which then uses computer software to bundle all the charges together to assign it a DRG to determine the payout. The software determines the patient was treated for a respiratory infection, which falls into one of these 3 DRGs (I made up the reimbursement figures but the DRG codes are real): DRG 177 RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS AND INFLAMMATIONS WITH MCC - $15,000 DRG 178 RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS AND INFLAMMATIONS WITH CC - $10,000 DRG 179 RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS AND INFLAMMATIONS WITHOUT CC/MCC - $5,000 MCC = major complications CC = complications The software then looks at the diagnosis code(s) being put on the claim to determine which of the 3 codes to use. If pneumonia was the primary diagnosis, the software might assign the claim DRG 179 and the hospital will be reimbursed $5,000. If covid-19 was the primary diagnosis, the software might assign the claim DRG 177 and the hospital will be reimbursed $15,000. So a difference of $10,000 is a great incentive for a hospital to potentially forge a fictitious diagnosis on a claim. Especially if a coder / medical biller employed by the hospital receives a cut from each successfully reimbursed claim. Even without this incentive, its easy to see why this is regularly taken advantage of by some of the more greedy hospitals, as they are capitalist enterprises by nature and looking to exploit every dollar they can out of a potentially broken / under-regulated system. This behavior was already happening well before the coronavirus. There's no reason to think it isn't happening now. Also, there are no "fact checkers" in the financial system of hospitals. There's very little oversight by the insurance companies themselves. They simply pass on the inflated costs to their customers.

PICK: SINNERS @5.000 1/10
Wow, this was another good call. I'm trying to learn CS:GO as I find it to be one of the more interesting e-sports. I signed up for esporttalk... hope the admin approves my account. When you reach the home screen it says, "Welcome to esporTTalk.org Sorry. We dont want You." Pretty rude But you can sign up for an account anyway, just requires the admin to approve it. Following this thread in hopes I can learn something.

we saw the world economy crash had its effect on bitcoin but also we saw bitcoin recover while the economy continues crashing proving once again that bitcoin market is an independent market.
Don't know how you can keep saying that. Its simply not true. It was at one point, but its not anymore. Wall Street deleveraged and sold off their holdings at the beginning of the stock market crash -- BTC was the first to plummet as they consider it to be the highest risk investment they could possibly make. Since that happened, BTC has moved more on its own and recovered better than the rest of the stock market, but that doesn't make it an independent market. Up until March, bitcoin had only ever known bull market conditions and everybody operated under the assumption that there was no connection between the two. On March 12th we saw exactly how much is tied to the stock market, which is, at the very least, somewhat. Look at any sort of chart comparing say the S&P 500 and the price of BTC over the last month and a half and the correlation is undeniable. It's not 100%, but its far greater than 0. Fact is unless Wall Street is completely out of bitcoin there will always be some correlation between stocks and BTC.

I see that facts - BSV does what Satoshi wanted - no matter of all the rest
All - really all other protocols (gambelling tickers!!) got derailed, hijacked - altered -
call that a success - the price is on a different plate (moaning trolls - what a fun)
There's literally a thousand other altcoins out there that "does what Satoshi wanted" according to your very low standards. The only difference between those and BSV is that BSV is being led by a fraudulent conman who insists that he is Satoshi, despite being thoroughly ridiculed by the bitcoin community and never offering a single shred of proof that he is. I call usership the ultimate measure of success. So far BSV has a very small actual userbase. It is accepted by almost no one, for anything, anywhere. Here's some quick stats for you: Bitcoin SV Median Transaction Value 0.00002 BSV ($0.0039 USD) Active Addresses last 24h 21,220 vs Bitcoin Median Transaction Value 0.035 BTC ($266.13 USD) Active Addresses last 24h 660,855 BSV has spent so much effort into filling its blocks with meaningless transactions in order to say, "behold muh big blocks!" that its totally lost sight of what was supposed to be its main goal: acting as a form of digital currency. Really, when was the last time you wanted to send 4/10th of a penny to somebody? BSV is like 99% of other altcoins: a lot of "look what we can do" with nobody actually doing it. If it weren't backed by Calvin Ayre, pumping millions of dollars into propping up its place in the CMC rankings, it would have fallen somewhere between Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond, where it should be. Your response will include the words "troll" and "triggered," because that's all you ever have to say. I don't think you're mentally capable of coming up with an actual rebuttal, but I'd be delighted to be proven wrong.

Be prepared to be attacked on this forum if you fail to tow the blockstream line.
If you try to rip people off by attempting to scam them with shitcoins, you mean. I don't care how many of you group together to protest your supposed innocence, you're all scum trying to profit from scams. And there are still horse and carriage maximalists in Lancaster County. You made up a lie that satoshi was your friend in order to promote your altcoin. That's pretty low. This just isn't true: Satoshi who friended me years ago on P2P Foundation was actually a group.
You being "attacked" has nothing to do with Blockstream or BTC maximalism. It has to do with making shit up in order to promote your own investment, which is inherently untrustworthy behavior.

Sunday fun post courtesy of Arthur van Pelt: https://twitter.com/MyLegacyKit/status/1254274673627615237Best reply goes to Adam Back: I did thimk a panel discussion between them could be fun... I'm kind of sad that only 1 of the 4 ever responded in this thread, and that was the guy with the long (longest?) hair. His name eludes me at the moment but he was here. I was kind of hoping that Craig would stop by in the form of leaving a comment as satoshi just to show everyone who's boss. Sadly, that never materialized. Have you guys been following the latest with Jimmy Nguyen? Apparently he claims he was always available to receive the subpoena from Ira Kleiman's lawyers but has just been too busy. He's been so busy that he hasn't had time to tweet or check his twitter either, I guess.

Brilliant! weak
I happened to have a highly leveraged BSV short open at the moment. Was biting my nails as it approached the $200 mark, but then the fever broke and it skidded down to $194. Closed out now. Am still down for the week overall. It remains a dangerous market to be trading.

I don’t think I’ve read any post of yours where you don’t bitch and moan about exterminating china or some such ridiculous nonsense...phukking asshat
And you know what's worse? If you debunk him on any matter, he does a back-flip, and goes lunar. I can almost see the reply, "read carefully what I said, never said that, it's you that goes on about China". It's a pickle lovin ballerina! I remember when I criticized him for advocating the murder of muslim children and he called me an NPC. Frankly any time he posts that's all I think about. I would say he ruined Pickle Rick for me, but that's just not true. Nothing can ruin Pickle Rick.

When I was little in school we had to learn all the continents, countries, capitals of countries, political maps, seas, rivers around the world, today they don't teach any of this. Geography and history do not matter, the educational system is disastrous.
I could easily name somewhere between 50 - 100 countries, and have been able to since the 5th grade (could probably name more then than now). The problem is, its just not a skill you need for anything, unless you want to be a participant on Jeopardy some day. Well come on now, who needs to learn all that useless shit anyway? You just swipe your fondle slab ..... "Hey Siri! what's the capital of East Bumphuk? ".....
True B.
