What on earth is proof of skate? How do I prove to the network that I'm skating? Does ice skating or roller skating count? BTW, I'm in the wrong demographic for either skateboards or lovely ladies to impress me much. I'd probably break my hip if tried riding a skateboard.

can we expect some news?
Unfortunately, it appears the dev has moved on. It appears there are not enough coins eligible to stake now to overcome the minimum difficulty, even with a transaction fee included.

Nice, Salim , but how did U succeed processing 5 at the same time. I couldn't with Dash's tutorial...
Real easy, just put the coin daemons in their own .bloodcoin folders with different ports in the .conf files. When you run the daemons, point them to the folder, i.e. ./bloodcoind --daemon -datadir=/path/to/folder/ & Cheers edit, never mind, port 5011 is hardcoded in the daemon, so this trick won't work. to run a second instance in windows, create a bat file in the same folder as your qt that looks like this. bloodcoin-v0.11.2.28-qt.exe -datadir=masternodedirectory2 -port=5013 -rpcport=5010 and create a new subfolder named masternodedirectory2 Open the 2nd instance by running the bat file you created. Follow the directions and set up a new masternode for the new instance. When setting up the conf file, you still use your ip address:5011. You can set up more instances by just changing the bat file to a new datadir, new port number and new rpcport number. It's not an elegant solution, because you basically are storing the whole blockchain for each instance. But it works.

We are almost at 100k blocks. Goat network is stronger than ever and there is 8 herdnodes up and running. What new exchange would like to see add Goat?
Naturally, Bittrex would be nice. However, Bleutrade may be a nice little exchange to get these on. However, I don't know if there is a way to get their attention. Would twitter help? Or would a tweet get ignored.

Well, it appears the one click set up does not turn off the staking too. Have to add the line staking = 0 to the midnight.conf file so the masternode input doesn't stake...

For me, it is always more profitable to mine solo, if have good hashrate in pools mining together with smaller miners is sharing
sometime i see cpu miner in suprnova so they need help of bigger users to find blocks.
i still sometimes think that crypto currency is waste of electricity but my friend say that printing real money, and bank servers is worse...
Yes, creating fiat is very resource wasteful. Think of all the paper that is wasted, when banks send junk mail with "pre-approved." offers. That's how most fiat is created, by banks loaning out money.

None taken You are 100% correct to warn people and I would have done the same thing. I had trouble finding a windows version so this worked for me. I am still having issues with sgminer tho, it informs me its mining but when I check the pool it appears no results are coming through Here is my command: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe --algorithm midnight -o stratum+tcp://mdt.suprnova.cc:5146 -u Maxus.user2 -p ****** pause Any ideas why it isn't showing up in the pool? I'm using a AMD R9 380 If you are trying to use the miner the developer put up, it gives nothing but errors. The problem is that it is trying to hash BMW 512 instead of BMW 256. Or something like that. I have absolutely no idea who to code. I looked at the midnight.cl file to see if I could make sense out of it. But of course, it might as well be written in mayan hieroglyphics to me.

Thank you for replying with the directions that Spots created! The only part I had trouble with was knowing my PUBLIC key to create my PRIVATE key. I researched and found by using this command "getaccountaddress <WALLET NAME>" I was able to get it. In my case "getaccountaddress WALLET" without quotes of course.
~Blaise
The command is dumpprivkey. This will list all of your private keys. Do not share these with anyone besides igotspots at the e-mail given. Not even with your mother.

I mean with the algo And i'm pretty sure that trex doesn't ask money for all listings. 3 BTC is only for a guaranteed add and sponsored status. Trex will add if they see the signs of large community interest. Unfortunately, this coin doesn't rise to that caliber, at this time.

At least we know it's the assholes who did doing the dumping and not the actual coin users, as I have checked the addresses of duplicates now. I know exactly who did what
The worst part is that most of them are using Cloud Staking, which they have just forfeited. I'm sure some will squeak through since I'm sending them out soon, but I'll get most of them
You actually have their physical addresses? http://www.myinstants.com/instant/the-price-is-right-losing-horn/Some, yes, but it's not like I would ever put my morals or reputation on the line by being malicious; people trusted that this info would only be used for receiving their cloud staking keys, and I won't compromise my word. I will simply exclude them from all current and future GorillaStake services Hopefully this wasn't the result of some people getting phished.

basically it is the same procedure as DASH's masternodes (will be glad if other community members help to perfect instructions for less technical people) short howto: 0. make sure port 5011 is being forwarded to the PC running the wallet. 1. go to wallet, to Tools->Debug console 2. find account address to fund with exactly 100,000 BOD ( in 1 transaction), type in debug console: getaccountaddress 0 3. send 100k BOD and wait 15 confirmations (with 1 transactions of exactly 100000) 4. in wallet debug console: masternode genkey 5. edit bloodcoin.conf, add masternode's configuration: masternodeprivkey=the string from step 4's genkey masternode=1 masternodeaddr=your.external.ip:5011 6. restart wallet, go to debug cosole: masternode start 7. your should see your IP when running in debug console: masternode list (example: ) 21:54:25 masternode list
21:54:25 { "94.242.59.71:5011" : "ENABLED" } Salim, you may want to add these instructions to the OP, or link to it in the OP, so it doesn't get lost as this thread grows.

Holy shit dude
Send coins to yourself in small amounts. What the fuck is confusing?
It's the equivalent of calling a help desk to ask why your computer isn't working and the problem is that it is not plugged in.

So how is a noob like me who doesn't understand what any of this means when we try to follow your advice and you won't help? We get screwed because you are too stingy with the keystrokes.
Too stingy on the keystrokes? You must be kidding. Most altcoins are run by "newbie" account devs and are active for a month or less, and then abandon the coin and move on. At least we have a dev whose willing to put a name and face behind the coin and face the music.

Great, the network weight is so low now, the block chain is totally frozen. Sending a transaction won't even move it along. Just call the coin cryptoparalysis.

Well, it appears I'll have to wait for an exchange to get my 5000 coins. Even if a gpu miner does crop up for the masses, my 7570 just does not have what it takes. P.S. Please do not PM me with offers to sell your coins to me. Don't take it personally, but I'm not that trusting. Although I do realize an exchange can screw me over just as bad. LOL

WTB 10k MDT for .06 btc guys, anyone interested pm me Since no one is interested to sell, i will wait for an exchange. My offer is closed for now, will see how this coin rolls out in exchanges With the instamine and gpu miner, you should be able to score some coins for cheap if and when this hit an exchange.

I type setgenerate true 2, and the wallet is using all four of my cores, not just 2. Not stressing out my computer with solo mining.
