4961  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITKER Hacked? on: September 18, 2019, 05:59:11 PM
Be carefull. Scammers now use telegram @bitker to get you to pay for help.
They also try to get you to install things on your PC.

As usual, these scammers will really took the opportunity on such situation because they are sure that there are desperate users would
fall out on such scheme because they had locked out some funds into that exchange but even on my own common sense, who the heck
would pay out or give something for help? and asking some installation? Only fools or having no minds will follow to these BS.

I also lost some tokens there. And this is not the first small exchange that is being closed for one reason or another.

I do not think it was a hack. Most likely they just took the money.
Simple and the most common but people never ever learn not to use up these small exchangers

We are thinking how to withdraw your funds from Bitker
You shouldnt hope coz chance for that to happen is 1% or even 0.
4962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 18, 2019, 05:16:51 PM
I don’t think you can pigeon hole gamblers as poor or rich. Just like in all walks of life people/gamblers come from  all kinds of different backgrounds. Some gamblers are rich, some are poor & many are stupid who lose everything trying & failing to get rich.
I hope the poor will not gamble because it might negatively affect their life if they lose their focus in gambling.
The principle that we should follow in gambling is to gamble what we can afford to lose, poor people does not earn a decent amount of money, so if they will gamble hoping they will be able to grow it, it might only cause them trouble in the long run.

That's why there are countries who bans gambling because the government sees the negative effect of gambling to the people.
You cant say that because even on poor or 3rd world countries there were still gamblers even though their money isnt sufficient or enough to their living.
Reasons? They are hoping that they would able to win at least they can possibly win and double up their money or even more but actually this isnt kind right
way of thinking just to solve out poverty because you are making the situation even more worst but well we cant stop on whats the reality which is happening on.
We cant point out which one is poor or not.
4963  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Successful bounty projects on: September 18, 2019, 11:45:27 AM
That's just a few not worth the successful projects in the previous year. The longer a successful project continues to decrease and only the scam project continues to grow. At that time we could make some money in one project coupled with soaring Bitcoin prices. For now, if you want to participate in any bounty project, you must be more careful.
Even to those bounties or projects wayback on 2017.Ive remembered that i had joined up some of them and become  successful but eventually failed up on increasing or sustaining its price.Example: KickICO. One of the projects that i had supported when it comes to bounty task and made some money for some time yet ive been earning monthly dividend even to this day but somehow the price had already been dropped to the floor. There are still few numbers of projects ICO that is worthy to join in but finding the best one is hard.

4965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW: NewFormat on: September 18, 2019, 10:41:28 AM
hello, can someone give feedback on the new process of creating eth wallet cause Ive tried to create an eth wallet using new interface of myetherwallet and it seems its not working pretty well. The eth add when i try to import on imtoken doesnt match. So Ive asked my friend who knows well and his used the old version via desktop mode. Sorry justa newbie, and planning to learn all slowly. Sorry cannot upload images cause forum prohibit it too. Hope someone can explain it on easy and understandable approach.
Im an old user of Imtoken wallet since im always on a transit which its pretty convenient when you do try to look up with your Erc20 tokens.
Its odd that it doesnt import the right address. Are you sure that you do able to import the right key?

4966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 17, 2019, 10:00:08 PM
Right, they still have Been and Curry combination and then some players that can really make a break out performance for them this year. We will definitely see the old Curry since KD is gone and carry the team again. They may have lost Iggy or the likes of Livingston, but they are still a team to reckon this season.

It's a Curry and Thompson combination, expect that both of them will average at least 20 points PPG in the coming season.
Thompson is well motivated now as he got a max contract for the team and I'm pretty sure that their consistent 3 point shooting will help them win more games again. They were the splash brothers who gave success to the team even before Durant, so I think people have to remember that.

Thompson is still in a rehabilitation mode from his injury, and if he will play he will most likely not in a 100% conditioned. I think that GSW will not make it to the finals this season since they are undermanned and without Durant, this team will be beatable.

Thompson will be able to play in the playoffs, so they have a chance to be in the finals again.
We've seen him injured many times and it does not affect his playing capability, the fact that the Warriors gave him a maximum contract, they know that Thompson will be able to recover easily and will be back healthy to bring the team into the Finals again.

Admit it, if Thompson was not injured last NBA finals, they have a good chance to win even without Durant..

Come on man, let's just move on from previous season and face that it's not for them. GSW has a good run over the year but they end up being choked by the raptors. Let's just hope to see another record breaking games from the GSW if they have the guts to make it though.
Actually their play-off journey is some sort mixed with bad luck. Why? Injuries do happen on most crucial moments on that season but i cant questioned Raptors skills/ability even if GSW is on their top condition they can give out some hard fight.
4967  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin.com is worth, what price would Roger sell? on: September 17, 2019, 09:30:43 PM
I don’t see Ver selling bitcoin.com unless bcash is no more, or Ver decides to get back into bitcoin.

I still don't see Ver selling bitcoin.com even if BCH dies. The potential money that could be made using the domain is still a lot, and that it could also be worth a lot more in the future as more money comes into bitcoin and as adoption grows. Unless of course, that he would be offered a huge sum of money; higher than it's current value(whatever the value may be).
Anything does have a price and we wouldnt know if Ver will reconsider it if he do see some considerable numbers that been offered but for sure it wont be cheap but for now
I dont see a reason for him to sell it out, when it comes to financial aspect we know Rogers capability and for sure he wont need some cash at the moment.
The time comes where he do need to pull out some then the possibilities is always there.
4968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The house edge on: September 17, 2019, 08:00:51 PM
Hello guys,

So I'm interested in gambling sites, to be precise, that have the best user edge and many options like "stop loss" and controls like "auto spin". Which one do you use. I have found some but only that require deposit or shit like that. So I am open for any good advice? And no spam please!

Thank you,
Angell

i believe there is no best gambling site that is best when it comes to house edge and other features because majority of them now are the same  . most gambling sites that i know and visited have all the same 1 percent house edge and i think that is the lowest edge that you can get on a gambling game  , finding lower than that i think impossible because gambling sites will not earn anymore  . its like giving away thier money to the gamblers   . features like auto betting , stop at loss or stop at win is also present    .  you can try clicking on my sig to redirect to bitvest   . you wont regret it
Majority of them would fall in 1% level but there are some which is lower like Bitdice

The House Edge varies across casinos. Our House Edge is the lowest in the industry for games provided by BitDice. It is a measly 1%. And when you take advantage of the multiple bonuses we offer, the edge falls further to as low as 0.84% .

Crypto-games.net has 0.8% too and it isnt impossible to look for these low HE gambling sites yet they do eventually exist.
4969  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coindeal is it a full blown exchange on: September 17, 2019, 07:16:20 PM
No, CoinDeal is regular and reliable exchange. If you do some research you will find positive opinions from users. This guy above me posted a site, where are 4 short shity reviews. It is quite fresh exchange, they are on the market for like half a year but imo they manage pretty well, recently they've entered the USA. There are a lot of trading pairs, good security standards, never had any problems with transactions or something.

I'm not saying that there are no good reviews, I'm just saying, that unless he's dealing with certain fiat currencies, there are better alternatives out there.

Also, the way you're advertising the exchange with is not going to bring you much credibility because it definitely looks like you're more of an official representative than a user of the platform.
Out of those purple highlights on the screenshot you had provided then theres no doubt that this one is part of the team. Cheesy
Basing on CMC rankings this one is on rank 90 and i cant see a reason why i would use up this exchange if there are top ranking ones?
As said even on FIAT pairs there are exchange which is more worthy to be used on than on this one.
4970  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: September 17, 2019, 06:35:47 PM
Thanks for the suggestion guys! Going to look at the two options. I have a hard time trusting wallets as it is but I do need a multi-altcoin wallet in any case that also makes it easy to swap and doesn't have a shitty reputation.

And yes to whoever asked. CSNO was the token related to the ICO.

You may try coinbase, they have enough alt coins for my purpose, and if you provide ID & resident of supported countries then you can trade, buy otherwise use it as multicoins wallet.

I would strongly advise against using coinbase to store your coins, because coinbase is an exchange and if it gets hacked you loose access to your coins. Secondly once you have verified with them you reveal to the government that you’re using bitcoins, which can land you in trouble if using bitcoins is banned in your country. @slaman29 yeah those are related and they can be bought, and then you can either sell them on the site or choose to gamble with it.

You don't have to verify ID if it is being used as a pure web wallet to send/receive any amount (verify enable trade or buy/sell with USD) and secondly he need a reputable multi-coins wallet, in which all of them out there has their wallet source code closed, who know what's inside and to pick one, rather choose a well known brand rather than any other but their source code is not open.
Since CSNO is erc20 platform based coin then theres no need to search up for any wallet but no other that myetherwallet itself.
4971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet got hacked on: September 17, 2019, 05:59:13 PM
If the BTC's are still there, move them asap to a much secure wallet and probably you will be the only one who knows. Crypto is money and the personal interest of other people with other's fund is there.

I don't know on how long you've been together but with the explanation you have that made me think that your friend(business partner) took it. You don't trust your wallet with any person even it's your friend, I would only trust a bit my wallet to my wife or kids and parents.
Also the thing on my mind too and highly suspect that his friend is the only one who do took those coins and he's too merciful not to get those BTC's or sweep all the balance for it not to be soo obvious but eventually if a hacker or someone do able to access the keys then those coins will be sweep out totally. This is the hard part where you do trust up some people
in regards with money where anytime they would be tempted to stole it out specially if we do talk about big sums on here.We cant really be sure their loyalty anytime.
4972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sad News: Kidnappers now requesting bitcoin as ransom in Nigeria on: September 17, 2019, 05:11:26 PM

The recent development [Kidnappers free Abuja victim after ‘$15,000 ransom paid in bitcoin] will definite damage the image of the currency in the country and around the whole especially Africa, if it becomes a trend. What are the possible solution to avoid this trend becoming an easy way out for the kidnappers thereby spoiling the currency image. And what's your take on this issue.
Same as usual and its better not to stress out yourself on how to avoid this thing and minding about BTC reputation because no matter what, it will pop out like mushrooms with these kind of news.We know that BTC is capable when it comes to anonymous payments and its hard to be traced on and thats why those criminal minds will really took advantage with it.
Not to be racist but we've known that Nigerians do have higher numbers in terms of scammers and fraudsters. They are just making their entire country looks bad in terms of crypto reputation and same goes with BTC image drags with it.

Still no updates until to this day? Its almost a month since from the downtime. This isnt looking good for the site.

Maybe the are gone...
Possible! I havent seen any players that do have complaints though about locked funds but im pretty sure there would be some on upcoming days to come.

No good signs that they will come back soon, last news from mariha96799 was more than 2 weeks ago when she/he said that the site will come back soon. The "soon" has passed already, unless she/he has different opinion with most people on what is mean by "soon". Frankly speaking I wont be surprised if the site is gone eventually because there were not much players when I checked it before the downtime except those who usually on the leaderboard of the wagering competition.
So far there are no players did complain even to those who are on top leaderboards which is somewhat odd or does simply means that those players doesnt know this forum to post up.

The website is down, the owners have vanished and those with balance on their accounts who did not have any time or notice to withdraw their crypto have been left empty handed.

This is one of the downsides to those gaming sites that offer no legal protection in their terms and conditions and should serve as a warning to users because there is almost no way discover who was really behind teh website.

Why are there so many users that play on gaming sites that do not even display who they are owned by? The terms and conditions shown on those websites are a joke, they are useless as they do not offer any information about who owns the websites and therefore who is liable in the event of a scam.
Yeah, we have known this common story among gambling sites that doesnt have legal protection but players cant really avoid such thing as long
they do saw that a site been played by some they would tend to jump in too without hesitation.

4975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 16, 2019, 09:24:47 PM
Anyone who has received gambling money can confirm that it is the sweetest money because they did not work and did not bother. And on the other hand, before he took that money, he touched his nerves to the bottom. Of course it's dirty money, but no one looks at it when they take a gamble. We have to agree that it's nice to take money that didn't bend your back.
I think you're not been straight here buddy because you believe gambling money is the sweetest money and you also said it to be dirty money. We all have different believe and definition of dirty money cause to me dirty money is money made or earn through illegal purpose and gambling is a game of chance and it also legalized either so I don't believe gambling money is dirty money.
Statement being told is self-contradicting thats why readers would really have confusion if they trying to understand on what this dude is talking about.lol
Gambling money is never been dirty but there are really people who do have those beliefs that engaging into this activity does considered to be dirty specially on earning
from it but generally i cant see a reason why would consider this one to be like that since this is just an earning from the enjoyment we are involved to.

4977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs vs IEOs? on: September 16, 2019, 07:59:49 PM
there are so many ico i have been part of but nowadays there are a trend is coming in the way of IEO. But i can not figure out why? because IEO is already have tokens on exchange that is why or is there any other reason?

What thoughts you have about it ?
You got it right! The main thing why IEO becomes the hype now is that the tokens is already directly being listed or to be traded on such exchange that do offers that IEO
and there were no other reason rather than that and in talks with project potential then they are almost the same which is shitty as hell.
They dont offer something new thats why you have seen some of them eventually dump its price or never been profitable to those IEO investors.
4978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: September 16, 2019, 06:42:21 PM
Is day trading for a living your dream job? Get another one – study says 97% of day traders lose money.

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3423101

Only 0.4% earned more than a bank teller.

You can thank me latter.
Yeah this talks about equity futures market and even on forex or stocks and other similar traditional markets we've known in the past but lets talk about
Crypto which i highly believe that it do have higher percentage for you to survive that day trade due to high volatility that no other traditional markets can compared of.
Do you agree with my point? 0.4% success is only for those markets but never ever with crypto.

Last week someone shared me gamble where you can bet on cock fighting online. But on this platform we only use our national currency to cash in will convert it credits where 1PHP : 1 credits.
It's just sad because they don't accept Bitcoin. I having hardtime to cash in/cash out by going to any banks or remmitance.

Anyone here tried to gamble with cock fighting?
And maybe you know some websites that accepting Bitcoin.
First time encountering this Online cockfighting website yet this game is just only being offered and can be enjoyed physically in Philippines and to some other asian countries that do have this kind of gambling.Basing and i had visited the site they dont have a clear FAQ on how payments would be made and they do have that that blank 'About us' tab.
I dont know if this one is trusted or not yet i havent seen any feedbacks on this one.

It would be good to see if the cocks health are features before the fight and probably the records like how much much fights it won and the age of the roster. It matters I guess. Unfortunately, they don't accept BTC so thats going to be a hard for people like you to bet there. But there is a project I've seen recently here in the forum which involves rat race. Projects today are getting stranger and stranger.
Transparency would always matter in these kind of animal betting fights! I agree that its crucial to know such informations before making any choices. This is why its hard to believe that theres already a cockfighting betting online. So far its being only avail on PH and payment options are only on local currency as being stated earlier by op.So it would takes time if they would add up crypto payments depending on countries jurisdiction towards crypto but its good to see some progress here.
