4961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 04, 2020, 04:51:13 AM
Since you trade mostly in altcoins, as soon as your make your profits, sell them to stable coins or fiats, close that trade chapter.
You need to keep one side of the trade fixed. Maybe USDT can be a reference for that. But I think this is what most people are doing and its nothing new.

Quote
If you are passionate about hodling bitcoin, always convert to usdt or other stable coins and be patient for a fair entry point. Because the market isn't running away
Just one coin to convert to is enough. But this is going to be a bit problematic if you are changing like Altcoin>Bitcoin>USDT. Instead just sell the altcoin for USDT because its price is fixed. Then buy bitcoin when bitcoin's price against USD decreases. This micromanagement is essential to keep track and becoming tired of it will not help.
4962  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 04, 2020, 04:42:29 AM
Every bad time comes to an end. This one will also follow the same route. The bad thing is that the world economy has and will be suffering for the rest of this year to come. I dont think bitcoin will be doing anything good this year and we can expect it to remain bearish for longer period of time.

The third world countries like always will have a devastating effect on their economy and they will take a lot of time to cope up with the situation. The important thing in such times to to learn how to keep a sane mind and not go off the track or take the law in your own hands.
4963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: April 04, 2020, 04:39:15 AM
It's really easy to say but executing that very desire is harder than you could ever imagine I remember when I venture into this space earlier 2016 my mentor then was always giving signal and then he said buy low and sell high but I always buy low and sell lower lol
Well your so called "Mentor" was a scammer then. No hard feelings but you cannot trust anybody in this sector unless the person is known to you in real life or a close relative. Because there are scammers everywhere crypto being a non regulated asset class.

We have seen so many scammers use signals groups to scam newbies and there is nothing that can be done legally against them. Because they didnt force you to trade, you did so on your free will. It is better to do your own research and make decisions based on that. Getting rich does not happen by someone telling you how to get rich.
4964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: April 03, 2020, 05:18:33 AM
Lottery is one of the games that people are not anymore interested on the process,
Yeah they are buying the tickets in hopes of getting rich quickly. It is what fuels gambling, they want to get rich and they dream of big houses, private jets, villas - so they try their luck. Grin

Quote
I mean the project on how to win it because they likely rely only in their luck since this game is based on luck alone, if your have a winning combination number, you'll win, that's it, and for me, this kind of game is not quite interesting for me as it does not challenge me and due to its very slim chance of winning.
Thats why it is luck. You can win these games and the big jackpot. But how many tickets would you need? You will be spending more than what you actually win in order to turn the luck on your side because the odds are against you.

But nobody wants to look into these finer details of gambling before playing. They are just in it for the outcome or the win/loss.
4965  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Getting listed on Coinbase? on: April 03, 2020, 05:14:46 AM
Okay so its public knowledge that he is backing the project, but I mean like if he lists it on Coinbase he's basically using his company to get a return on his investment right?
Not necessarily. An "Advisor" might not list it there or may list it there. What you can assume is that Coinbase is a partner in this project and might develop something new using that token.

Quote
Like im sure when he decided to announce it he had some plan to exit and get his money back, whether that involves listing it on the exchange that he owns.
Advisors have a lock in period. They will sell their stakes right when it ends and cash out. You will never even know when it happens. But again you can assume it is averaged at 2-3years after launch. Which means the more it gets delayed in being listed the worse price it will get once it get listed because one big whales just sold off. And this sale occurs both privately and publicly affecting the market.

Quote
That is illegal right?
How far is legality and cryptocurrency going together? All these 11years of crypto and ICO scams are under-the-table deals occurring, have you seen any big name being jailed for such acts? Its completely legal here. You are playing with your money here and they are ready to take it.

Quote
Wouldn't it be the same as if I made an investment into a coin while having inside information that it will be listed on binance for example
Again you can safely presume that he is an advisor here. Not just an investor. The big names are put in for their influence and in order to fool people into investing into these projects. Does it help the financing? Yes, apparently, these investors (<read "Fools") tend to forget their suspicions when a big name enters in as another investor. That big name is not actually an investor but an Advisor, like I explained above about lock in period.
4966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking Youtube crypto influencers(good payment) on: April 03, 2020, 05:05:01 AM
This is a wrong place to ask for such services, in my opinion.

What you should do is look into youtube itself and search for crypto-niche users. They are the biggest influencers out there and here you will only find wannabe bounty spammers with a small youtube channel mostly with subscribers who are also bounty hunters thus making it a fake userbase to fool the team owners into paying them for their bounties.

What I mean is that you will find better cash deals which actually gain you a viewership and sales if you contact the real youtubers.
4967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Staking Is The Next Step In Crypto on: April 03, 2020, 05:02:36 AM
Staking is not the next step or the next big thing.

Stop flooding this forum with such bullshittery where you try to prove your point but without any backing to your claim. If someone wants to stake their coin and that coins allows it, allow them do so at their free will, not promoting something that going to be a scam in future.

People here are easily swayed by such attempts where they are promised small passive income methods and they put in large chunks of money. In staking it is similar because you pay a premium amount and get some interest like returns every week or month. But nobody knows when one fine day that site will shut down and premium money will be gone.
4968  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake Ethereum Distribution/Bounty on: April 02, 2020, 06:33:44 AM
These things never end my friend. I appreciate the fact that you are posting about it but this is not really an accusation against someone on the internet because here people use loads of telegram accounts to set up usernames to fool others and scam them. It is not new for seasoned veterns to identify in the blink of an eye that it is a scam and it is also not new for noobs to fall for this scam.

As long as the "I want free money" mindset lives such scams will flourish and being an idiot never improves. Someone will get scammed and the scammer will have their share of money.

What happens afterwards, they create a new account and find out another victim and the cycle continues. The domain name may be useful to track but even then how would the local authorities track and extort the money? Ends up being a waste of time for the person claiming a loss.

Still I appreciate your work but I like to point out the futility of such efforts.
4969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: April 02, 2020, 06:26:52 AM
Correct, trading is just like gambling. It is very risky but if you know how to manage your risk it is also profitable tough.
You just contradicted your first statement. If trading was similar to gambling then there would be no method to make it into a profitable earning method. But it can be done so. Gambling is always going to be a loss for the player because they are fighting against the odds. Trading if done on the right assets and at proper times can end up being profitable.

For now, while the crypto market suffers the sudden dump, I much prefer to HODL my bitcoin for the long term investment. It is the best time to invest and accumulate more than you can afford. Because you can't earn investing in Bitcoin in a short period of time. It needs to have patiently wait.
You can earn on a bear market too. It is called shorting but it needs practice. Check it out if you havent already. You could also bet on the prices and make money from that if you know where to find such bets.
4970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: April 02, 2020, 06:18:22 AM
This is a sad and disappointing experience if I experience it, because in Q4 2017 bitcoin has gone up very high and I don't know the reason you don't sell it and take profit. You missed a big moment. Hopefully the assets you hold now recover soon
The reason of not selling at that time is very simple to understand yet people act like they did not understand. It is because during a bull run the rise makes people blind and they think prices will keep on increasing even after a certain increase has occurred. The important thing is to sell while the bull run is still happening and not get greedy. Kind of like gambling when you need to quit before the red streak starts.

But even then there are still assets to hold and you should hold them till one breaks even at least. More bullish trends will come in future but you have to have patience and a lot of it.
4971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: April 02, 2020, 06:14:10 AM
Indeed, as time goes by there are many inventions out there that could benefit all casino platform. Nowadays many gamer are using bitcoin as their medium in every gaming casinos.
The numbers are increasing or not is still not backed without proof. People here say this without providing proof so it is still a speculation. Considering the fact that fiat has a much bigger usage that bitcoin, fiat casinos are the more in number and frequency. Maybe the number of bitcoin casino players are also increasing but that increment is very small. Otherwise we would have seen a big boom which is still absent.

Quote
But there are some countries doesn't not welcome bitcoins as they medium in playing them, I guess because of it's volatile and everyday can change the value of it. Not just like fiat currencies that has a fixed value on it.
Thats is irrelevant in this case. A country where bitcoin is illegal does not come when you are trying to calculate the usage in legal form. Of course off the charts transactions occur but adding those into a statistical data would become tough.
4972  Other / Meta / Re:[April Fools] vaccine created by WO gang! on: April 01, 2020, 07:59:56 AM
You dont even need a vaccine for this. You will stay contagious for 1day only. One day 2 you have been magically cured. You can take my word for it. Wink
4973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: April 01, 2020, 04:45:05 AM
I agree with you that trading and freelancing is not stable in any market Both are downhill. Depending on the market conditions In that case it will depend entirely on his work which one he is more adept at. I think trade is the best day-to-day trading of one loss, but I can earn a profit on another.
Freelancing will not go downhill so easily. If you have the skills and the skills are in need then you will have a market, just maybe a job everyday. But it is useless to compare it to trading because for spot trading you have to buy at low and wait for it to go up, which can take a lot of time. For margin trading, you also have to bet on the movement direction which can be a lot risky. So it comes down to being a personal choice of what one likes and what they want.

You can do trading while freelancing as well so no need to to skip one for another. Smiley
Eh that is a bit tough for a normal person. Generally when freelancing the person needs to be putting in their very best to get the best work done. Thinking of what to buy or sell at that time going to ruin their work.
4974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: April 01, 2020, 04:40:41 AM
Thinking about their users situation isnt really their business at all.
It seems selfish but it is what they bank on. Of course once a while they send out a reminder to keep habits in check but they really dont care and they dont even need to care. That is the person's own choice whether to gamble or not. Just like a fast food joint, do they need to remind people that eating such food can increase their blood lipid level? They dont and still people spend money there.

It is called providing a service and as long as it is done in a legal manner it will not face any problem. I am sure casinos face extortion from anti-gambling organizations which are nothing but racketeering extortion scams.

Even then they run a profitable business which I appreciate. Control comes from the player and not the service provider.
4975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly does a good project needs. on: April 01, 2020, 04:34:58 AM
If the project is undervalued and the development is not going well, there are more chances that the project will go down and under the table for anybody to notice. Then a few years later someone will buy the project shares by some private deal and the investors will be shown the middle finger and told to f-- off. This has been my experience with altcoins and thus I dont put money in them anymore.

Whether a community can bring back a project and depending on that to wait for the price pump is a risky move. It is better to just sell off at a loss than to wait for that, because majority of such cases are waste.
4976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Escrow Services on: April 01, 2020, 04:29:26 AM
Follow the post above and you should be able to find a proper escrow suited to your need. Since I have known Hhampuz and yahoo for a long time I will definitely recommend them to you. This does not mean that the others are bad too. They are people I have dealt with previously.

Do not listen to anybody PMing you about escrow, they are more likely to be scammers if not included in the list and having a high trust rating. Even then always verify the user you are talking to before sending anything. We have telegram impersonators trying to impose as high ranked users because of similar looking usernames.
4977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens on: March 31, 2020, 05:03:40 AM
Back in 2017 I never thought that exchange can use token on their platform and make it very valuable, look at binance exchange and Okex exchange, very profitable they are today for every early adopters, any ways that's that, how about now? What exchange do you think will be huge in near future?
This is not completely correct. Sites like Binance although have gained a huge popularity, as an exchange they are plagued with bots and thus coins get pumped and dumped like anything. We cannot remove bots, truly speaking but the exchanges need some sort of regulation to keep the markets regulated.

Yeah their coins might go huge in price  but who can really predict that?

You guys are forgetting that once upon a time Binance used to ask for 4+BTC as listing fees and that was when BTC was above 5k USD. These things need to be regulated if not stopped.
4978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sometimes hunters are to be blame on: March 31, 2020, 04:59:27 AM
No, not every complain comes from bad bounty hunter, rather it comes because of bad bounty project!
Just end the bounties altogether. No bounties no complaints.

Quote
Some people never learned from mistakes, they keep doing shit bounties and when they don't get payment, they start spreading negativity!
Sucks to be them. They never learnt to move on to doing some real jobs that can give them money.

Quote
I don't blame them, because sometimes shit projects can give you more money than a decent bounty campaign! I saw people earned 2-3K USD from Airwallet, Wes token bounty, but I did not earn even 100$ from Ferrum, Haratoken bounty!
Have you been able to spend those coins and cash in that money? Or are you still holding on to it hoping that they get listed on some exchange. If so then very good, but if you are looking for a somewhat stable income and not a place where luck plays a big role, you should avoid bounties.
4979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 31, 2020, 04:52:37 AM
hodling is really really difficult specially of you do not have an influx of cash on a weekly/monthly basis. but of course there are always alternative altcoins which you can study and give focus to hodl like the ilcoin. take a look and you'll be amaze of its non stop development.
Well Holding is a part of trading. What I guess was meant here is actively using the money that you have as capital into trading and not holding any of it. That would be wrong since diversifying how you use your bought assets is an important thing in trading like a pro. You will make money from both and lose from both. Having a held off reserve not only will ease your mind that you have not lost a lot when trading but also act a emergency source of money in times of need.

Bitcoin users are more of hodlers at heart. But they do trade a certain part of their assets. Wink
4980  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 31, 2020, 04:48:12 AM
Can you give any good link for learning these games as right now I have some good time may be this help me for doing some good in these skilled games I personally never in these games but now thinking to give try waiting for your response about this.
I would suggest you do your own research regarding them. The best place to look for is youtube and online videos. Be sure get a referral link thrown at your face with a hefty welcome bonus. Upto you whether to accept those or not.

In this context, let me tell you that Poker is not everyone's cup of tea. You can think you have learnt how it works but it is way more than that. Still online poker removes the concept of bluffing to some extent if not completely.

Sports betting is also skills based but has a luck factor in it. If you are good in analyzing sports, even then dont expect to win every game. FJ has a good sports book so check it out.
