4961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs EOS on: June 25, 2021, 02:43:54 PM
I find this comparison completely inappropriate. First, they are two different worlds with different goals. Secondly, I personally believe that EOS is a big scam project that at the time was only pursuing a massive fundraiser, nothing more. The project has been on the market for many years and its development is dying for me.

Even ETH vs BTC discussions were totally off the mark too I would say, we're talking about different algos, different users, different utilities. EOS would probably see ETH as the main network to "kill" but even BSC has overtaken EOS in that regard (and both are highly centralized too so even that's a more appropriate comparison).
4962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SMC] Safemoon Cash, a thesis for marketing on: June 25, 2021, 12:57:50 PM
When I joined Safemooncash’s campaign, I only wanted to earn some extra coins to use for gambling or trading. I saw this coin as only another memecoin similar to Shib and other similar projects. However, the more I looked into Safemooncash’s marketing methods, I saw that they had the money. I began to think who might these whales behind the project be? They had a pornstar promote it on Instagram, they had a billboard on Broadway in New York City, the team went to the Miami Bitcoin Conference and met with other project teams and developers to make connections.

Who are these people? Are they whales, movers of the cryptospace, connected people? It appears that this project’s success will be one of the few marketing thesis for other projects to follow.

Binance is the purest form of an example of what money can do: buy users, buy loyalty, buy markets, and then slowly letting them take hold naturally and run the project on its own. So yeah, if these guys have money and do their marketing right, they could take the couple of years they need to establish the coin.

Problem is the reputation of memecoins (except DOGE).
4963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 25, 2021, 12:25:27 PM
Even though England played at home but still I don't believe that was the trigger to win and even, these two teams played at home during the group stage but still the result was bad. But if I had to choose who would win, I personally would still choose Germany even though basically I don't like them because they don't look very good in the group stage and tend to look boring.

Yup! England have a funny relationship with their fans actually and I personally even think some of the English players play worse under the pressure of expectation (talking about Sterling esepcially). Germany on paper have to be the favorites but maybe after group showing bookies will favor England.

@joker_josue man I hope it doesn't go to penalties otherwise I have one bet wrecked early:)
4964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: June 25, 2021, 12:01:04 PM
I think if you bought coins that maybe get bad responses from this forum, as long you really filtered it. U can take the suggestion, because i think this forum can be used to review if the coin is good or bad as long we can see difference with honest review and people who only shill it. About coin, maybe if there are no other choice especially some new tokens, i rather to cut lose and then change to other coins.

This forum will always be the measure of honesty, in my opinion. On Twitter and Telegram you get ultra shillers and influencers paid in tokens to shill, so they always have motivation to lie. But this forum does have a way of filtering out the outright scams:)

So if you actually see good accounts and Legendaries talking about an alt here, it's generally at least a sign of longevity.

Thank you rdbase and Zilon, and yes, Spain finally delivered and just in time too because they need their A game for the KO stage now. Personally very happy they also gave a lot of you guys joy for the 4.5 over goals special:) I see the pundits talk about Hummels keeping Germany out of contention but for me the key is Kimmich, as long as they refuse to play him as he is best used, we'll never get the team confident enough to keep their goalnet steady.

But knowing England, they could also finally play Sancho to start and he is the one best able to understand German defence:)
4966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 25, 2021, 10:00:53 AM
There was more than enough time to organize the warmup matches. They arrived in England almost a month ago. But as usual, the contingent arrived with spouses, children, girlfriends and other family members and they were busy with shopping and sight seeing.
I don't mind criticizing their behavior as far as practice session goes but this sound wrong info to me, Indian team reached England around June 3rd and stayed at bio bubble. They had 1 county match schedule but it got cancelled due to logistic and new covid cases that's why they had to play intra squad match. IMO Team could have arrive there at the same time as New Zealand team then may be , things could have much better in terms of practice.

@7788bitcoin  2 first class (3-4days) match never hurts the schedule if you're playing 5 match series. I do agree Indian team schedule is hectic and covid didn't help much. Problem is Players are cash cow for BCCI and arrogant statement from the skipper-coach combination making things worse.

So we all agree there's a problem with people and their attitudes if they come from our region then. And it's a very difficult cycle to pinpoint. On one hand, we know the conditions we live in and culturally even, bringing family and spouses shouldn't be frowned upon (it's really what makes it even possible for many of them to play professionally, imagine if they ignored their families the hell it would be for their personal lives haha).

But yes, covid is a big big problem and we can't discount that BUT even with preparations all in place, as you said, the arrogance is what put them down in the end.
4967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: June 25, 2021, 08:43:38 AM
Bolivia didnt stand a chance today. Urugvay won 2-0 but it should have been 7-0. That miss in the 95th minut by Urugvay players is something that i didnt see in all my years of football when watching the match live. The guy missed an empty goal and this is on a national level

It makes me wonder a lot about this level of football sometimes and what it really takes to be a world-class player. Of course everyone has a horrid miss every now and then but that is what sets people apart from the very good to the out-of-this-world. Nerves of steel and whatever.

But Uruguay has to end their journey at the next stage the way they play. 2-0 but against a team that they should have scored many more, as you say.
4968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 25, 2021, 08:00:49 AM
There are multiple options are available to protect your identity. You can simply choose decentralized exchanges or centralized exchanges which are never asking for KYC documents. One of the simple and effective way must be trading your bitcoins for fiat or altcoins with this forum members through escrow. This way you can stay anonymous forever still I bet you will get better rates for your bitcoins.

I am just foreseeing the availability of crypto-loadable anonymous ATM cards which can serve your exact requirements. Some 4 to 6 years back which were easily available but right now both visa and master cards not providing such business.

I actually don't mind giving out my KYC if I know I'm using the exchange for a very long time or if it's my only option to withdraw fiat but for as long as there are P2P options, I would delay that as long as possible. Eventually, the game is all about getting in line with regulations and most exchanges will want to do that to survive in the long run. P2P is also just too complex for people (and if you use Localbitcoins anyway you have to KYC).
4969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin rebounding? on: June 25, 2021, 06:44:21 AM
BTC:
Breaking down to refresh the previous low point, the bottom of the daily level is a rebound signal of Hammer Yang K + Lianyang standard. In the short term, the rebound is expected to continue at the position near 36100, which is the position of the daily mid-track. So today, we will rebound first, and we are expected to enter. Field position 34800 this position.

Never heard of this terms but I think I get you. Meanwhile we see Bloomberg experts pointing out that Bitcoin is still bearish short and medium term, plus look around and other alts aren't doing so well, which suggests people are moving some of their risk from alt baskets back into Bitcoin. Consolidation for this weekend?
4970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 25, 2021, 06:12:45 AM
This transfer season, Barcelona is mainly focusing on young players. They are making young strikers and midfielders. Even if Messi, Griezmann, Aguero leaves Barcelona, Barcelona will not face big problems. However, Barcelona's defense was very weak this season. They should have an experienced defender. Experienced defenders should be included in the team without focusing on young defenders.
Are you sure? I mean they just went for aguero and wijnaldum, they failed to get wijnaldum but got aguero who is 33 years old. They got Depay and he is not old at all but I wouldn't call 27 years old "young" in football, usually players that are 22-23 and under considered young in football, when you are 27 that is like half of your career is already over. They got Royal and he is a young kid, yet he is not really a star level player neither, don't know if he would be even starting eleven. So they got only 2 players one at the half of his career and one is at the near end, I would say they are not going for young players at all.

With the hopes that they would be able to get a good price on some deals, they are going to look for some players after euro 2021 like most other people, I feel like that is going to be the case for many teams so that they could see players and decide afterwards.

Exactly haha. I wish I could say my team was looking to revive their fortunes by putting down some good money in investing youth, I mean yeah we have Braithwaite but he hardly gets a run out and then Dembele (not so young) keeps injuring himself, now out after EURO and to miss our preseason.

Aguero yeah, but Depay is almost at peak, also agree, not to say it's young, but to build a solid center for the next 5 years. Hope Koeman knows what he's doing seriously.
4971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 24, 2021, 02:32:26 PM
Don't buy out of panic, and use the free money for investment. we do not know for sure that price movements will rise in the near or long term, the predictions of a trader or experienced investor can be wrong, so play it safe as you can accept the worst risk.
I'm just a small day trader, profit from trading I try to buy some major coins like eth and bnb, for the long term. but I'm often tempted to sell it when the price goes up.

Free money means money you can afford to lose. I always say, if it's money you can throw away in a casino for fun, then yes, it's money that's right for investment.

Personally though I've been moving some money I would have 5 years ago put in fixed deposit now into Bitcoin (but not by buying, just by selling less Bitcoin and using my fiat instead).
4972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: June 24, 2021, 02:00:37 PM
The new Binance NFT marketplace is launching today.

https://www.coindesk.com/binance-nft-marketplace-warhol-dali

Interesting. Very interesting. I know NFT market has been cooling off for weeks now if not since May even after all those crazy multi million deals but Warhol and Dali are big names in the art scene. I wonder how Binance managed to get those deals.

I guess we'll start seeing not so popular tokens hit Binance now too. Those from pancakeswap for example.
4973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 24, 2021, 12:38:11 PM
England can't beat Germany if they play the way they do, but Germany also can't even defend against the worst team in their group so I have no idea how that game plays, but please, don't go for 0-0 as that would be the most boring outcome for us all. England will have Wembley advantage but is it actually a disadvantage with all that pressure?
4974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: June 24, 2021, 12:05:54 PM
Yes of course this is the right time to buy ethereum because of the deep correction now. I think the price will be increasing in few months later.
If the price has increasing and market become bullish again we can gain a lot of profit from ethereum.
You call this deep? Deep was going below $100 when the ATH was $1400;)
We are still 50% of the 2021 ATH, not deep enough.

How do I know? I bought ETH at $400 or around there, thinking it was deep at less than 30% of ATH:) I had to wait a long long time for this:)

Oh and by the way.
I see your nick so I feel like I know where you're coming from;)

Finally my beautiful Spain delivered for us, so I couldn't be happier, and we found a way to score more than 1 goal, so I'm happy even if Morata keeps looking lost at the front. I tried to stay up for the second set of games but was already too sleepy to continue, you guys must have enjoyed 8 goals, we're all in goal coma I guess!

Even in Copa it was crazy:)

As much as I hate to admit it, you're all right and it's not just India, it's probably the whole of South Asia (and I bet you if we get the Southeast to play as well they would do the same). These sports are excursions, they probably even eat and drink badly the night before if they don't get too early and do even more, not saying it's a stereotype but I know my own people:(
4978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: June 24, 2021, 06:59:10 AM
Did anyone see the clip of Suarez wasting time around 86th minute? Annoyed a lot of people but it was fun to watch. Took his boot off twice to block a goal kick TWICE hehe:) And maybe wasted 15 seconds or something!

People on twitter calling him the king of shithousery. God I miss that guy at Barca:)
Yeah heard about it and for those who want to see that "brand new" waste of time as called by newspaper, here is the link https://twitter.com/i/status/1407108739853914118
I liked how he moved in front of the goalkeeper who kicked the ball twice on him. Suarez is not only a biter but also an inventor Tongue

This is exactly the sort of character we (Barca) have been missing in our ranks. Everyone remembers Suarez/Messi/Neymar as the best strike partnership in the world and it wasn't just because of talent but also because of that kind of inventiveness from Luis Suarez. Hate him or love him, when you have that kind of crazy mentality on your team, you are inspired.
4979  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How can I set these conditions in Binance? on: June 24, 2021, 06:28:35 AM
Futures is different I guess, didn't realize you could do it like this:)
It is cool indeed, creating an advance buy or sell order from something you haven't got yet. How I wish we could do the same on the classic trading platform of Binance as well. That would save us a lot of time. That would also make sure we do not miss on a price target once our order gets filled.

Yeah it's pretty cool, I am still half mindblown that you can do it. I do wonder why they don't just allow those future types on classic. But have to say Binance classic platform (which I guess we're both on) is getting more and more confusing by the day. I think 80% of the features I haven't used because it loads too slowly or is just too complicated.

I think I see the fresh news from today (translated news shared from my local groups) that some are leaving in these weeks, BUT actually they are also getting some business compensation for loss of business during lack operations, not sure how it works but it does appear that they are leaving not on bad terms.
