Talo is kabayan Jalen Green the slam dunk.

4962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 20, 2022, 07:26:27 AM
^^ I would think that it will be Probellum who is going to happen Casimero's career moving forward. And maybe Casimero will hire someone in-between, and maybe that's where Rachel might enter in the picture. Similar to what Pacquiao did in his career, he has Top Rank but then have Michael Koncz or another Filipino lawyer. And with that meeting, I don't think that we will see Donaire vs Casimero fight in the future. Maybe both Filipinos are targeting Inoue and unseat him in this division.

Yep, probably he needed someone that can really understand the ins and outs of contract before signing it. As we all know that maybe there could be some "lost in translation" along the way, so it's better that he have someone in his shoulder that will look upon and scrutinized and explained it to John Riel that he will understand. So we have like 8 weeks to go, great time to really start that training and peak at the right time for this fight.

Lost in translation is the appropriate words for what's happening to Team Casimero right now. I've read that Sean Gibbons is planning to file a lawsuit against Johnriel to have him replace with Sultan for that championship fight. Damn, this should have not gone this far if only they have someone explain to Casimero what MP Promotions wants best for his career.

Let's just hope that this fight will proceed and Casimero will still be victorious so he can face Inoue in the future.

The tie between MP and Casimero is already severed so no wonder that Gibbons will used everything to derail Casimero's fight. Their relationship went sour according to Giibbons after the Rigo fight. He advise John Riel to stay in the US but Casimero insists of going home in the Philippines and he did. And then cut his relationship with long time trainer Noynoy Neri and get his brother Jayson as his trainer. And the final nail in the coffin is working with Rachel and Nonito Donaire. And now the drama still continues with Gibbons looming case against Casimero.
4963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 26, 2022 on: February 20, 2022, 06:16:14 AM
^ It's probably just the trainer can't take his boy being plummet by a smaller guy, and it's good that Jerwin has reacted on the bottle throwing because we shouldn't take this kind of bullying even in training.

@Hypnosis00 - I have updated the date.

And it looks like Jerwin is very sharp already, but the odds are not yet there, I'm looking for a knock out win by Ancajas.
4964  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: February 19, 2022, 04:07:36 PM
We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.

Bitcoin has been regulated by many governments around the world, both of them are not the first. Majority of nations as far as bitcoin is contain is still in the middle, neither legal or illegal and yet they consider putting a regulatory body to monitor it.

What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

Nothing, it is what it is, bitcoin will continue to flourish with or without any government accepting it although it will hasten it's acceptance globally if they will make it legal.
4965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 19, 2022, 11:32:50 AM
^Cheers Dave. You got it both right.
In my case, not perfect but a satisfying one as I added a parlay for both Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo to achieve a double-double.
I wanted to add Embiid to the line but Stake.com doesn't allow the same game multi-bet just yet. Maybe in the future, they will also bring one like a betbuilder in sportsbet.
All-Star guys! Lines are already open so you might want to analyze it now.  Wink
Jalen Green - Slam Dunk fave.
Fred Vanvleet and Patty Mills - 3 point contest faves.
Giannis - All-Star MVP fave.

Thanks mate, you too, congrats on your winning. At least we end the first half of the regular season with a good win.

Lots of good entry for the slam dunk contest, but I agree with your picks, Jalen Green and Cole Anthony.

If I'm not mistaken, Mills is on the top of the 3 as far as percentage so definitely he will also be the favorite to win. Maybe my dark horse is Luke Kennard.

Giannis is very athletic and he is still hungry for greatness, so I guess he can win the MVP again, it will be a back to back MVP award for him. On the dunk contest, that's very unpredictable, same with the 3 point shooting IMO.

And it seems that Giannis the favorite to win the MVP again?

And then Team Lebron at 1.43 ML against Team Durant at 2.80, this might be a good time to bet on the underdogs at ML.

3 point shot, yeah I like Kennard's chances here.

I haven't seen a discussion between the unified 140 lbs champion Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall.

This will happen on Feb. 26 and this is their press conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRhANw_-_bo

Perhaps there is no hype on this fight because of the weight category, we all know that big fight is in 147 lbs. But there is a potential clash and making some noise between Crawford going down to 140 lbs again to face Josh.

It's because of Taylor's opponent, that's why there is no buzz in this fight.

I guess the better move for him is to go to 147 and test the waters if he wins this fight. Or probably wait for the 135 lbs, like Lopez moving up in weight or even Tank Davis, who already try 140 lbs and won a belt. And that's where the money is, not fighting someone that boxing fans are not familiar.

Move this thread to the right section, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

Also, I suggest to buy a copper member if you really want to advertise your project here and you’re a legit developer. This is another meme token right? Well I have nothing to say since I’m done with the new meme tokens, especially those who copy the name of the other tokens.

Lol, so another meme coin that take advantage of the Shiba name?

Not to burst the bubble, but it seems that this is a just a copy cat, didn't look at how much the circulation but I will assume that it will be in billions so just imagine how will the price will go up except for pump and dump scheme?

Peter is a troll and a lot of people know that but don't expect the sentiment to align on him because we're in a Bitcoin forum, you should know what's the answer here. No one knows where it will head and believing this analyst will just split your decision making, we're here in the long run and HODL is the key.

Not just a troll but he is really anti-bitcoin, that's why he doesn't chance his stance and then continue to attack bitcoin when it is down. And obviously he is somewhat trying to "kill" it with his statement. But we all know that bitcoin is hard to put down, we've seen it many times and bitcoin proves how resilient it is. Not Peter Schiff or anyone can stop it.

4970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: February 18, 2022, 10:20:39 PM
The image below have made me realize that there's actually no loss of money in crypto currencies, be it in a bull market or bear market, what we often see as a loss during bear market is actually a minds trick, and because we allow that thought dwell in our mind for too long, it then becomes our reality, remember "As a man thinketh in his mind/heart, so he is".
We are literally what our mind is.
In a bull market, your bitcoin or any other coin affords you more usd and in a bear market, your usd affords you more bitcoin or any other coin of choice, and remember that in crypto, patience is a great key to unlocking wealth, patience equals HODL.

Yeah, this is so true, regardless of what market cycle we have, it's going to be a win-win situation for us. The problem is that investors don't know how to take advantage of it. You will hear them bitching around during the bear market and then they continue to trade, lost some money. But if they will just accumulate in this cycle and hold for the next bull run, then they can make a lot of money, you just need to have a lot of patience (a quality that we need a lot in this market).
4971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 18, 2022, 09:48:28 PM
Here is the official weigh in of the fight, the contractual weight is 149 lbs:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKe9D0zpPwM

They obviously don't like each other as they bark in the face-off. but this is going to happen in about 24 hours.

Best of luck to everyone who are going to bet on this fight.  Grin
4972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weakens at US$ 42,145.35 The Impact of Russia's Conflict with Ukraine on: February 18, 2022, 03:19:32 PM
Just because two events happen at the same time, doesn't mean they are connected. It's especially true for BTC, lots of things happen in the world every day, you can't just take whatever is the most popular in the news and say that it causes BTC price change.

And how about a simple explanation - BTC dropped a bit because it had a big upside movement before that, so it was a time for correction after the rocket ran out of fuel.
It has become the normal thing with people. It’s not like the price wouldn’t drop if there wasn’t any conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but since this event has taken place a lot of people are now using it to say that it is the reason why the price of Bitcoin has dropped, while in the actual sense it doesn’t even have anything to do with that at all.

The market has been bearish and facing serious correction, and has gone down from its all time high price to as low as it did earlier this year, a lot of people didn’t see that and they couldn’t even figure out a reason why, but now they are saying that there is a conflict between two countries and they are trying to attach the little decrease that you have seen today to that.

I am still bullish on Bitcoin and won't take this as a bear market. Even if we see sharp decline in bitcoin prices in case the war happens , the dump will be sharp and recover quickly.
Think that if there is no war, the prices will recover fast.

I'm not going to argue with that, but if you can see, even before the looming war, the price has been in the decline since December. Yeah, we have a bit of recovery to $44k-$45k, but it didn't sustain that run and now because of the sad news, the price goes down again. So taking that into consideration, the price could still in a downward spiral and still be in the $40k'ish or even lower, in my opinion.
4973  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 18, 2022, 02:49:01 PM

Good luck.

4974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 17, 2022, 11:22:35 PM
What an epic game it was and I mean the Golden State Warriors - Denver Nuggets one. It was a very competitive game and honestly I was expecting Warriors to win this. But Nuggets fought so hard that they equally deserved to win. The 3-pointer Monte Morris made over Stephen Curry was just insane. His hands didn't even shake then and it was a flawless shot. And this shot brought the 117-116 win to them. Congrats to them on their great win! And btw, Jokic had a spectacular performance too. He got 35 pts, 17 reb and 8 ast. What an effort!

This loss cost me my parlay for the day.  Cry  The Nuggets are a team that can definitely shock anyone on any given night.  Jokic shows why he is an MVP when he needs to.  The crazy thing is that a couple of the team's best players are out with injuries.  The Nuggets are still a young team and I think they're going to be very good for several more years.  I'm not sure if this season will lead them towards a title hope, but once they get everyone back to full strength next year (hopefully) I think they have a real shot at challenging some of the best teams in the league deep into the playoffs.

And with this win, Jokic again prove his case on defending his NBA MVP for this season. They started slow, but it seems they've gotten in the groove again. But yeah, probably they will fall short of an NBA title again, they need everyone to be healthy this season to contend against the powerful teams in the West. Regular season games is very different from playoffs, they might have beaten the Warriors, but when they face them in a grueling playoff series it might be different though.
4975  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 17, 2022, 11:02:10 PM
Out ako for the last 2 days at break even lang last week.

Tail ko yung Heat at Bucks bet nyo. Maganda chances nitong 2 na manalo today.

Yun na lang muna tayaan ko at sana maganda ang pasok ng linggo hehehe.
4976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 17, 2022, 10:28:57 PM
Final press conference of the fight:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v8qrcdNnNg

Both predicted a knock out victory, Khan says that Brook is obsessed with him and has been a fanboy. And he did train in the US with Team Crawford and will put Brook on his place. Brook simply said that he will go for the knock out. And both predicted that this is going to be a war.
4977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: February 17, 2022, 10:13:09 PM
I am been having doubt recently that the price of bitcoin may not stay long above $40000, it is like the market is full of bears than bulls or maybe the bulls have become bears for this time until the next bull phase. Bitcoin increase some days ago above $45000, it decreased back to $41500, then increase again yesterday to $44500. I have predicted that if the price do not touch $45000 and above for now, that it is possible the bears will dominate and which is happening. Since yesterday, the price of bitcoin has slightly been on the decreasing side.

You are right as the price of bitcoin goes down hard again, it's down to $40k right now from as high as $43k-$44k in the last 24 hours, I haven't check what really happen in the last 24 hours though. But it seems there is a negative news again

Everyone is expecting bitcoin to get to $50000 again, but I am thinking this is not possible for now, I know the price will increase above $50000 but I think it is not now. But what I am mostly thinking about right now is that will $40000 be a support for bitcoin or will the price still decrease further again making it to touch $30000.

I myself was expecting that we can touch $45k, but we failed in our first attempt so I'm thinking that there is a big resistance in front. And surely, in just less than 24 hours, we only not just failed to break it, but the support line faltered at $43k.
4978  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 15, 2022, 04:34:59 AM
That's why we shouldn't compete for these two different currencies because they have a different world.  Through our confusions, that's why comparing them or competing is our primary objective because of our government's regulations.  The truly decentralized nature doesn't really have a chance that can be regulated and that's why Bitcoin now has been existed.

Fiat and Bitcoin have opposite features and totally has different nature, they have pros and cons so competing isn't necessary.  We understand the government and we know that they combat those possible causes of fraud and unregulated assets because they all care about how to apply tax in your asset.

True, that's why I don't get the idea of hearing people comparing and competing them because its totally different world. Crypto is young and decentralized and I would say it is a revolutionized concept as well by Satoshi although not original. But still it just burst out of the scene and then becoming big in the last 10 years that people can't help it but to compare the two, but there is no point.
4979  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 15, 2022, 04:00:49 AM
What about now that the price drops back to 41k , so where is the strengthened here? and where is the recovering? i find it nothing there?

Ha,,, how is this not a good thing that Bitcoin has recovered to above 40k and now stayed there for over one week? This is not nothing, this is a great show of how strong the levels can be above 40k despite price being 33k not so long ago.

It would be highly unhealthy to grow above 33k to 45k and then keep growing right?

Still a healthy movement though, reaching $43k and have a higher chance of breaking $44k-$45k this month. So I guess the strength is still there no matter what the FUD or what geo-politics is (a Russia vs Ukraine confrontation). At least so far, we are not affected by any news and on the contrary the price slowly picking up in the middle of the month.
4980  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Prediction for March!! on: February 15, 2022, 03:11:45 AM
I'm not an expert, but I will say that bitcoin could go between $48k-$53k.

As long as there are no FUD or the effects of the looming war between Russia and Ukraine will not have a bad effect on the market.

For the rest of the altcoins, we all know that majority of them follow BTC price movement so if it is on the positive side then it will have a trickle effect on the altcoin markets.
