Once Real Madrid sealed their qualification against Liverpool next week, there is a possibility that they will meet Napoli on the next round of the game if Napoli qualifies against Frankfort and that will be a superb game of the tournament, the outcome will be unpredictable considering their both forms.

I think we all want to see this game right ? Napoli , on how are they looking right now , I can say firm that they will beat Real Madrid probably on both games as few people realize in what form Napoli actually is and how hard is to play against them right now. Sure , Real is the master of comebacks and can pull a victory out of nowhere but not against this Napoli.

Beating Real Madrid in both games... too bold a prediction. I think you overestimate Napoli very much. Napoli are a strong team, but there is no guarantee that they will be able to beat even a much weaker opponent. Last season, one of the brightest teams (maybe the brightest) was Ajax, but they were knocked out immediately in the 1/8 finals and only by Benfica, and not by some top club.
4982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 24, 2023, 03:19:51 PM
I understand that Napoli looks like they can beat any team right now, but we should also realize that they are just too far ahead and do not have to care that much. I mean they are literally in 60+ points as of right now when no other team breached over 50 points yet, closest opponent is at 47 points when they are at 62 points.

This means that they could literally pull youth team members at this point and play 17-18 year old kids for a few more games while resting their starters and they would still be good. Of course rarely any team does that, best case would be putting like 4-5 bench players in the game but they could literally play with u19 and still not lose the title chance.

That is why I no longer see the point in betting on Napoli in Serie A. Now they are completely focused on the Champions League, since nothing threatens them in Serie A. The only exception is probably playing against an outsider at home, but in this variation the odds are too low to risk.
4983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 24, 2023, 03:15:07 PM
Barcelona have lost their next "big" match this season and can now focus entirely on La Liga. I look forward to the Barcelona-Real game with great interest. If Barcelona can't win it, then it would be ironic to become champions by farming underdogs while failing every other important game of the season. But that's the point of round robin tournaments (especially when the competition in the league is not very even).
4984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 24, 2023, 03:07:35 PM
Things are going on really bad for Newcastle. They can't win a league game for four weeks first of all. Their game against Brighton home has also been postponed to an unknown date because of domestic cup. This means Newcastle are going to have an away game against Manchester City next time. This looks really scary honestly while Manchester City are fighting for the title.

It looks like Newcastle's longing for a win in the league will continue for a little longer. Let's see how good Tottenham will make use of this chance.

It's not a good situation for Newcastle, but on the other hand they can prepare well for the game against City and play it to the best of their ability. With City in a precarious position after an away draw in the Champions League, two tough games in a row (against Newcastle and Leipzig) could see City fail either there or there.

Although it is only 60 minutes, according to the bookmakers, the most likely outcome of the game will be a draw:

2.78 - 2.02 - 5.10

In my opinion, a dubious forecast, since United began to dominate and most likely will be able to put the squeeze on Barcelona before the end of regular time (missing a goal on the counterattack is also likely).

It took only 13 minutes for United to make my prediction come true, hehe.
Now there is not much time for Barcelona to show all their trump cards (and Xavi will not become the main loser in European competition as the head coach of Barcelona).
By the way, 1.20 doesn't look that bad for a United win.

If we are talking about slots or roulette, then there is no difference - a smartphone or a PC, the interface is quite simple in both cases. But if we are talking about betting (my main entertainment in the field of gambling), then the PC is beyond competition. No matter how convenient a smartphone is, but for quick analytics, searching for statistics, and even just picking long multibets, a PC is much more convenient.
4987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 23, 2023, 09:26:34 PM
That's how the thing goes, that's why it's often best to try as much as possible to maintain a specific momentum, even if it's not at the highest level or pace, it's rather better to not try to chase not so feasible result every week just trying to chase the every gap between participant, I'm still never paying much attention to the leaderboard, but when we get about weeks left I'll check what's left to play for and what not, until then it's just guts, logic or pure statistical, perhaps a combination of the 3 to make a decision for me.

Yes, the best way is to participate in many pools at once and then you will not have time to track minor changes in positions within them  Cheesy
By the way, at the end of the championship, it seems to me that the randomness of the results will increase (not in the pool, but in club games) - many teams will either have already solved their problems, or have completely failed, and therefore they will not have the motivation to play at full strength.

4989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: February 23, 2023, 09:16:21 PM
After the previous World Cup, everyone thought that France would be at least among the winners of the next Euro, but in the end they lost right away in the 1/8 finals. Such short tournaments are always random, but the fact is that we are now in an era of French dominance and they will be the biggest favorites to win the European Championship.

I am not sure whether the French will be the favorites to win Euro 2024. I could see a lot of vulnerabilities in their performance during Qatar 2022. IMO, Spain and England are far better teams, although they couldn't perform well during the last world cup. Regarding France, I always had this opinion that their players are overrated. Kylian Mbappé, Paul Pogba and Karim Benzema are good players and maybe some of the best in the world. But they don't know how to play as a team and the team cohesion is lacking in the French team whenever they play.

I don't know where you get such subjective observations from, in my opinion (also subjective) the French team plays very unitedly. Spain, England (and Germany and defending champions Italy) are good teams, but objectively France is doing better and, judging by the individuality of the players, they are also stronger. In my opinion, France looks better both in terms of names and in terms of play.

Many people have no doubts about Manchester City's chances in the second leg, myself included.
I think that's normal because the quality of Manchester City is much better and also they will be playing at home. Manchester City's good chance will not be wasted and Leipzig may have to face the fact that they will fall short. Even so, Leipzig also have the same chance because previously it was a draw, and it will definitely be interesting to see who will qualify.

In the first half, Leipzig played quite successfully in the bus and the fact that they conceded a goal does not mean anything - it could have not happened, and I would say that Leipzig showed a good game in defense. In the second half, they were able to beat City in attack as well. Against this background, there is no certainty that City will win the second game - what if this time the bus will work and Leipzig will be able to score a goal on the counterattack? Will the City then be able to open them after that?

After last night in the champions league match Inter managed to beat Porto at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, this week they will play an away match against Bologna in Serie A. Head to head in the last 5 matches Inter managed to excel with 4 wins and Bologna only 1 times won. This result will definitely be Inter's victory, especially since they have a target of at least staying in second place in the standings and also widening the distance from their city rivals Milan.

After a poor game with Porto, I was disappointed with Inter (how did this team manage to knock out Barcelona?) and would not have been so confident in their victory over Bologna. At least I don't see the point in betting on Inter to win with such low odds:

5.40 - 3.70 - 1.69

Inter have a good margin in Serie A and I'm sure they don't care 2nd or 4th so they won't give 200% to win.
4992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 23, 2023, 08:58:07 PM
If there weren't a personal meeting ahead where Real Madrid has an iron opportunity to score three points at the same time and deprive Barcelona of three points, thus reducing the gap to 5 points, I would consider that the championship is already over. Teams that are at the top of the standings rarely lose points, so 8 points difference is a huge distance.
There are no chances that Real Madrid will catch up with Barcelona. If you are focusing on the side that Barcelona will have to lose matches, do you also consider that Madrid can also lose a match or draw and thereby the gap between them and Madrid will increase the more. It is just a two ways thing, what I don't understand is how Barcelona gave Real such a gap to 8 points.

Yes, I understand that Real Madrid can also lose points (for example, in the upcoming game with Atlético), but if we are talking about distance, then in my opinion it is logical that such an unbalanced team as Barcelona should not significantly outperform Real Madrid statistically. In addition, if Xavi planned the peak of form (at least the first one) at the beginning of the tournament, and Ancelotti for the current period, then we should expect Real Madrid to play better now. In general, we are waiting for a personal meeting and everything will be clear.

If you are so sure about City winning big, then you can bet on City to win -1 goal handicap at 1.73 odds or -2 goals handicap at 2.88 odds. As you can see, in this option, the odds become very attractive, much more interesting than when betting on the total. And I don't really think that City will be too tired to play in the Champions League to save energy here, so a big win is really possible.
A big win as City and over 2.5 goals would be great or only City to play 2.5 goals is a fine option but somehow risky. If you are sure City will win just go for the winning irrespective of the odds, trying to fish higher odds in one sure match makes it possible for one to make mistakes and end up losing the match.

Yesterday, many were sure that City would win the match in the Champions League. Even though the opponent was stronger than Bournemouth, but this is the Champions League, so it was to be expected that City would play to win. But as we saw, City played incomprehensibly what and Guardiola did not try to fix something. Maybe there is some internal conflict in the team? In general, if I bet on City in this game, then only on a double chance (yes, the odds are scanty but reliable).

Grin

Miss Opéra.

Grin

I have one question to all the dirty gamblers we have here.

Anyone know what odds have Real Madrid to win when they were 2-0 down? Or its any page to check this?.

The odds were 16+, I don't remember exactly something like 16.20 to be exact. But as you can imagine, it was too fast for me to seriously think about whether or not to bet. And in fact, 16 against Real Madrid and in the early minutes is not a serious coefficient. Real Madrid loves comebacks plus Liverpool are a weak team this season so the bookies are insuring themselves very heavily.

By the way, everyone remembers that initially, after the draw, Liverpool was a big favorite in this pair?
