I lose my live bet in the US vs Serbia match, I put a like bet at US ML during the break because I thought they will be able to continue their momentum in the 2nd half, but I was wrong, they are still the same weak team I saw when they played against France, bad bet.  That's what we called lack of experience mate, the US team is young though they play good basketball but still inexperience to international basketball. Right now, team USA is starting to pull away in this fourth quarter. France on the other hand gives a decent match against USA so it would give a scare to them if they don't play their a-game. The bad call against the France stopped their momentum now. .USA is still in the lead now, but it's still manageable since it's just a single digit lead. I predict easy win for Australia by more than 10 points. Australia is more powerful than Czech Republic. I don't think Czech Republic is able to qualify for semi-final. Till now they have been a great team. But reaching qurter-finals is enough to them. Comparing Australia and Czech Republic performance in their past matches makes me think that Australia will overcome Czech Republic.
There is no such thing as an easy win on this stage of the tournament mate, teams that reaches the QF are no push-overs and besides too many so-called upsets have happen. On paper, Australia will dominate Czech Republic but it's not the same when they are already on the floor. Chinese crowd are pro-underdogs so expect Czech Republic to grind it out with the Aussies. I might put my bet on france +8.5 and France ML, and some Any Team Winning Margin (incl. overtime) +31 with a good odds of 40, in case thing goes crazy, you know.

All in all - if we look at the whole tournament, not only Greece as a team failed... Giannis cant be satisfied with his personal performances either...
The important thing here for Giannis is the experience and he should learn from that. Greece will be back a better team next time, we know that. FIBA officiating is way too different in the NBA and even here in our national league, fouls called is too thin but that's the way it is and teams should adjust to that and avoid too much complaining. |

The foul called on Giannis is 50-50, it could go either way but in fairness to the refs, their calls were consistent, Giannis should have adjusted to the calls. Congrats to the Czech Republic for making it to the QF though it's not official yet but Brazil needs a miracle to win with a 20+ margin against US. |

Czech Republic and Greece are now playing, I already put my bet on Czech Republic to win by 6+ with a good odds, let's see if I'm lucky today.
In the early first quarter, it's the Greece who are dominating, current 10-2 so far, but this is still early, I'm still optimistic that Czech Republic will upset Greece here.

Checked this issue again. So far the Philippine government haven't caved in, which is surprising considering how its president kisses Xi's ass all the time. Time will tell if they can keep it up.
The President as i heard on his statement about the issue is against gambling but the government need the money for it's project and besides it's not the president alone who will decide on this, this will pass on the congress if there are amendments on the gambling laws of the Philippines. The Philippines was already humiliated with how the S China Sea issue is turning out, getting rid of an entire income stream just to appease the Chinese government would make it a laughing stock.
The West Philippine Sea issue is different and nothing to do with this one. How did you know that the Philippines is "getting rid of an entire income" on the West Philippine sea? Do you have insider that tells you what is happening? |

Czech Republic 5.20 Greece 1.16I would be on the Czech here for the x4 on my money and it would not be an upset if they will win this game. Crazy FIBA World cup so far, fans expectations and assumptions getting derailed and one of those is that USA and Serbia will meet in the semis not in the finals (if ever they meet). Spain would be taking the easier way to they finals and they are at 6.60 odds at the bookies right now, worth the take. |
