I love competitions but I am feeling ok even while playing alone. In the past I have taken part in a series of competitions hosted by direct bets and I have also win a couple! Indeed there is a lot of time and effort required for a good result. High payout/prizes, competitors and generally not easy tasks give a special emotion for that competitions. I have not participated anymore in other games since then, I don't know if anyone will launch a nice tournament like these.

I have placed a couple of bets in some esports like fifa games but each time with no luck  I think that like any other sport you need to study well the players, conditions, single matches. for sure "combine" are always possible since it's a sport like any others. For sure after next Olympics games (that seems want launch the first esports competitions), we will see more and more of these esports becoming very popular in western countries... |

What is your time frame? If you're looking for a simple speculation pay attention since you're so newbie and this world is full of sharks, whales, scammers... best time for investing depends in your wallet. if you have enough money to risk, ok go for. but if you are just going to risk your life saving and you don't have a "plan-b" it's better you avoid this chance.

So your profits is $250k right? I need to read your post twice  $250k in profits from $200k of investment is pretty decent. More than 100% in just 4 years. Still better than value investors who gains 10-20% annualy. I’ve checked your wallet address, and yes you have many sh*tcoins that didn’t go well in the past. Personally, I will take 60% for btc, eth, and top cap alts, 10% for speculation, 20% for the dips. definitely agree with that! most of coins hyped during ico mania at the end after many years have been just scam or coin with a negative evalution. I think that you can just maximize your effort while getting some bonus like a rakeback or competing for some wagering competition.
Casino games have an house edge that can be "beated" just by ... luck!
A strategy can help maybe to "diluite" the loss, or an effort for a lucky game with an high odds... but there is never a real advantage for the player.

I am sorry to ear about your loss... this can happens, and with enough time you can recover from it while you have learned a good lesson.
I am curious to know more about... how did you pick up a "wrong address"? it was just an error or you was meanwhile visiting some phishing website? More over, pay attention if you have some malicious software that is able to change an address after you have copied it, this has been a very common strategy for scam user ...

I am surprised to read about these people that lose these high amount of money, and I am also sad to read about scammers that are earning money just fooling people... but looking better, it's very hard fall into this scams since...
-these frauds are not new and mostly have gained the attention from mass media (likewise twitter assault of some months ago).
-why some one should double bitcoin? this is definitely no sense, a completely ignorance about money and economy.
-but last not least, it's very easy check the real identity of a fake Musk... people complaining about money scammed have not made any basic checks...

I think the best strategy is... play for your fun! Since the game is already designed that house will ever have a winning edge, you can enjoy while spin the wheel. Some times I think it can be profitable playing with games that give back rakeback points or directly linked with some promotion. It can be also an idea buy some spin just for a bigger payout... |

I don't think we will see any change in gambling industry about NFT. But however it's a changing industry and new products are always welcome.
the only problem is related the real value of the items. I made a "bet" years ago buying some Crypto kitties (probably I have spent around 0.30 eth). Nowadays they are pretty worthless despite the hype of NFT. It could be valuable for the final user risk money with a bet and receive a worthless token?
