4981  Economy / Currency exchange / [W] 100$ PayPal [H] 100$ BTC on: December 04, 2018, 02:50:24 PM
I'm looking for 100$ PayPal and I have 100$ Bitcoin. We'll use preev.com rates.

If you're not a trusted member, please don't even bother posting here. I'm not willing to trade with anyone with red trust.
4982  Economy / Services / Re: SIGNATURE ✅ BANNER AD ✅ THREAD DESIGNING on: December 04, 2018, 11:18:19 AM
Just finished a transaction with SFR10. I'm very satisfied with the work he did (A logo for a blog and an Intro for my videos). He delivered before time and was very patient when it comes to revisions and my requests Tongue The rates were also more than fair and he refused to get paid for the logo because It was basic. I highly suggest asking for his services!
4983  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Would you use this app? on: December 03, 2018, 09:45:26 AM
Can I know what is the scope? Is a testing version before official launch? Can I receive any special discount or reward?

There will probably be a beta release but It will be for everyone and there is no special discount because It's not going to be for sale in the first place.

"Yes", if it meets one of the following conditions:
  • Desktop: I prefer to have it as a widget and not a window or full screen app.
  • Android: Be able to use it without a VPN (I've had this issue with other similar apps on the market [due to my location, most likely]. It's more of a UX problem).

Not sure If #1 can be done since I was planning to have features like the ability to see transactions etc. I don't see how such detail would fit in a small widget. As for the second, that shouldn't be problematic unless the APIs I'm going to use is banned in your country, If you know that's the case, tell me which ones are not.

Would be a great app in my opinion.
as long as it has extra features like
- Ability to push notifications in case sudden market changes... like 2% drop or rise
- If it had a floating widget
- Ability to show a summary of transactions in and out

- It's more about monitoring your addresses then an app for signaling.
- See above.
- I'm planning to do that yes.

Would be a great app in my opinion.
But I would love to see maybe some support for multiple portfolio accounts. Maybe at a given fee if you so feel you want to make something small out of it

It will definitely have that If I create it.

4984  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Dead man's switch on: December 03, 2018, 09:26:30 AM
The problem with some of the suggestions here is that the coins will be released to the Next of kin If you're in a coma, kidnapped or in jail.

Maybe we could have a program that makes inquiries from lots of relatives and family members about your current state (dead/alive) whenever you become non-responsive. It should be a questionnaire with simple Yes/No answer. If  majority of the family members/relatives  say you are alive then it keeps holding the coins. If majority says you're dead then the coin is released to your Next of kin.

Having funds released in these cases is fine. It doesn't necessarily have to be death, being away for long time as a trigger could work as well. The less people or services used in the process, the better.
4985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is not a decentralize exchange on: December 02, 2018, 08:55:02 PM
I'm honestly not sure what you're referring to by saying that they gather orders on private servers but anyhow, do you have a proof of your claims? They still give you full control over your funds, and I think with all the hacks that are going on in the crypto scene, that was counts the most. You can check this list for decentralized exchanges.
4986  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinsbank.com is SCAM SCAM on: December 02, 2018, 02:14:04 PM

CoinsBank has their own debit cards as far as I know and QCK is not affiliated with them. Make a separate thread in the scam accusation section.
4987  Economy / Service Discussion / BitSkins withdrawal on: November 30, 2018, 10:42:03 AM
I've never used this website before but I'm pretty sure It's reputable, probably the best after the shutdown of OPSkins.

I deposited my BTC. After one confirmation, I got them into my balance. I bought a CS:GO knife just fine and I've been trying to withdraw it since yesterday but I keep receiving an error message saying: "Trade aborted, steam says you can't trade. Please trade with a friend to see why".

I've googled this message and nothing seem to show up so I'm not sure If other people are having this issue or I'm the only one. I would appreciate If someone who used this before could tell me what's wrong
4988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: So how can we ensure the highest level of anonymity while using Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2018, 08:15:46 AM
If your goal is not to let people trace you and find what you're doing with your bitcoins then you could simply use mixers (ChipMixer) or privacy-focused wallets like Wasabi.

On your phone, you could use Orbit which should encrypt everything you do and not just your browser traffic. I think It's not an option for the computer because not all apps you use let you configure them to connect through the Tor network.

The solution in that case is to buy ProtonVPN and connect to servers that use the Tor network or... Install Bluestacks (Android emulator), Install Orbit there and do whatever you want in that emulator.
4989  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralised exchanges. Will they survive? on: November 30, 2018, 07:47:07 AM
I think that question should be asked regarding centralized exchange instead.

We've got atomic swaps coming, that should eliminate any third party service, no withdrawal fees, no significant trading fees, and people will remain in full control over their private keys. Who wouldn't use that?

As for the current decentralized exchanges, I think there is a lack of liquidity, good UI/UX etc. but I'm pretty sure they'll improve with time. I'm very optimistic about the DEX that Binance is currently developing, you can find a demo on YouTube, it looks very good.

So, not only they'll survive but they will thrive as well, centralized exchanges will become obsolete, the only ones that will survive probably would be the ones that deal with fiat.

4990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know if someone places a big order on: November 29, 2018, 02:36:15 PM
I'm not aware of any tools but you could build your own. You could use the API of the exchanges that you want to keep an eye on, most of the time It should be the most known ones because whales won't risk their money with exchanges that are not reputable, and just check the order book when there is an order above a specific amount that you consider as a 'whale' order.
4991  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain Wallet no working on: November 29, 2018, 01:57:38 PM
Error messages? If nothing is happening while clicking the button then it could be an issue from your browser, try to change it and see if it works.

As a side note, I don't suggest using Blockchain.com or any other web/online wallet because they're not secure enough. Go with a desktop wallet (If you're sure your computer is clean) or a hardware wallet.
4992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cheapest way to buy bitcoins on: November 29, 2018, 11:44:39 AM
We did have exchanges in the past with a higher bitcoin price (Korea, India etc.). If someone manages to get verified, he could always buy by trading with other individuals with the normal rates and sell back in these local exchanges to make a little profit. Aside from that, the best way is probably to trade with people so you can eliminate any third party fees.
4993  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitinka exchange on: November 29, 2018, 11:07:37 AM
Looking at the trade volume[1]. It seems like a very successful exchange but after doing some research it seems like they're having multiple issues[2][3][4] when it comes to withdrawal.

I suggest looking somewhere else and maybe target exchanges that are available worldwide such as Binance, Bittrex, HitBtc etc. You don't want to get listed in a low-quality exchange, that would affect the reputation of your project/coin.

4994  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ideal cryptocurrency exchange - how it should look like? on: November 29, 2018, 09:46:27 AM
Most of the people are not asking for much to be honest. As far as I'm concerned, an exchange should have a very good UX/UI, a chatbox as long as It's moderated, mandatory 2FA, most of the funds stored in cold storage to avoid any "we got hacked and funds are lost" scenarios, a phone app, a very good API to let users automate stuff If needed.

Finally and most importantly, a professional support team is what most of the exchanges lacks right now. Technical issues can arise at any time, that's understandable but taking multiple days to respond and fix when people need their money urgently is not something I would like to see in an exchange.

4996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are Exchanges Launching StableCoins Market. on: November 28, 2018, 01:25:25 PM
They're a business so this should be profitable for them in one way or another. It's also good for us as a community because at least this way, we know there are multiple sources of stable coins.

We've seen some news regarding Tether in the past and the impact it could have on the bitcoin price. So having this instead of Bitfinex controlling everything is definitely a good thing IMO.
4997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Satoshicircle working on: November 28, 2018, 12:58:44 PM
it works now they just ticket in !!!

Glad to hear that but regardless, I still wouldn't suggest continuing using an unknown site that can't manage to answer to support tickets in time.
4998  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] 50$ [N] PayPal on: November 28, 2018, 11:39:01 AM
I will need another 50$ in PayPal as soon as possible, please P.M me for a faster response. The same rules and rates apply.
4999  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Finding a secure escrow for digital gift card on: November 28, 2018, 11:03:40 AM
You could check this list. It's the most updated one.

Gift cards are not much different from reversible payment methods though, so an escrow is not that much of a help (only when none of you want to go first). If I buy a gift card using a stolen credit card for example and then chargeback the transaction, that gift card redeemed balance will no longer be available, so take that into consideration.
5000  Other / Meta / Re: How to get back my hacked account? on: November 28, 2018, 08:21:02 AM
So no chance to reactivate the account? Man, didn't expect this... Sad

There might be multiple ways to confirm the ownership of the account but the easiest is through signed messages. If you don't have banned accounts, I suggest you to just make another.
