Seems like a good idea to me. Anything that helps aggregate my different altcoins and not having to go through a text file to save the public addresses for when I visit the exchanges is good. A sort of automation via an app would make life a lot easier for those who have a diverse portfolio of crypto and specially if they have a large number of altcoins which are always to be kept in close view for possible buy/sell orders.

But the question is if people really need such an app, and not just a few people's views. You might want to do a survey on the forum to get an opinion before you start any development.

Yes, it is something I could use it if it's a lightweight app has a little more features and several setting to get a customized app. Thinking out of the box, it can turn to be a useful automation tool for anyone dealing with several altcoins at the same time.

Of course I would use this app, especially if it will be designed for Android, it can make things more easier, it's not always possible to sit in front of your pc or laptop, we can bring smartphone everywhere. I like All In One (AIO) tools and I think there are many who enjoy it, personally I can only say that yes, it's something which I would love to see.

Great idea. What are analogues? Know apps only for monitoring the course of prices of the tokens that need to drive a manual. It would be good if the application worked without entering encryption keys. For example, as a website https://www.blockchain.com/ru/explorer ahhh! There are dozens of apps in the market which do the same and trust me, they keep popping up in this section every other day. I'd rather have my own excel sheets and charts over an app that will have access to my confidential data.

I'd be interested in an app which helps me getting the forked coins without needing to copy all the addresses.

It may be a good idea if i understood correctly what it does.

The problem i find with all those app like delta or blockfolio is that you cannot simply specify your addresses and let the application get the balances (that i'm aware of) but every time you start to use them you need to input everything manually

It's true that there are already similar apps, but I haven't actually found one that I like using.
The UI is a big factor for me whether I'd use it or not.

It should be lightweight and have a very clean interface. I know that's not too much detail, but I don't know yet how this perfect app would have to look for me to use it.

I'd use it. I use a watch-only Electrum wallet to watch my cold storage. If there was something more advanced to watch both hot & cold wallets, I'd definitely consider it.

Make sure the code is open-source if you do go ahead with this. If I wasn't able to validate the source I probably wouldn't run it on my computer TBH.

I'd make the reco: Create it open-source & try it with Bitcoin. If there's demand, maybe start including other cryptocurrencies.

i wouldn't use it because i don't have a "portfolio". all i have is bitcoin and for that i have watch only wallet(s). but i would like to point out that it depends on two important factors:
1. being open source. and runs smooth and fast.
2. the way it retrieves your information such as balance. if it fetches the information from block explorers then it is nothing new. so why bother making it? but if it is communicating with nodes and is something like an SPV watch only wallet then it can be different because i don't know any app like it yet. although altcoins don't have a lot of features that bitcoin has (bloom filters for starters) so it may not even be possible.

The app won't collect any confidential data about users and It's going to be open source so anyone could verify that.

I'm planning to make something using Material design, so It will be clean.

The application will be open source as mentioned above. I wouldn't use the app myself If It wasn't.

As for the way it retrieves the info, I'm not sure how is that important, to be honest. I doubt the average user would care about how the app gets the information. If I ever use full node etc. It could cost money and I'm not sure I could afford that for the long-term.

i say that mostly because i already have an app that does that using block explorers and i have been working on changing it so that it can work in a more decentralized fashion and communicates on the P2P network to fetch everything (haven't succeeded in finishing it yet). and also because that would make it distinct from all the similar tools that already exist.

Sounds like it would be a useful app, maybe something that also generates events to alert other apps, email/sms notifications and exports reports in formats such as Excel.

Sounds like an all-in-one app for me and anyone that sees all the app's features would definitely like it but it would be a particular set of target group. So I wonder who would you think this app will be useful for? Because I myself would only see some of the features personally useful for me so I wouldn't bother installing this app, instead I'll be using on what I am used to do. And that might be the case for other people not using your app.

I think this is a good idea and seems to have heard about this somewhere.
If there is an application that helps us to easily buy and sell cryptocurrency than more common way present then that's a great thing.

Sounds neat, but I personally wouldn't use it.

The Bitcoin price I keep track of as is and what little alts I hold I only pay attention to during bull markets. Smaller day-to-day price fluctuations I don't act upon and beyond that I don't see any practical use for me except for maybe aggrevating an already unhealthy habit of regular chart-checking.

This is an app you wont need that special discount or reward. Dont know on what you do believe or the things you have read up.

"Yes", if it meets one of the following conditions:

• Desktop: I prefer to have it as a widget and not a window or full screen app.
• Android: Be able to use it without a VPN (I've had this issue with other similar apps on the market ^{[due to my location, most likely]}. It's more of a UX problem).

as long as it has extra features like
- Ability to push notifications in case sudden market changes... like 2% drop or rise
- If it had a floating widget
- Ability to show a summary of transactions in and out
