4981  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The RollinCoin scammer is back (again) as crazybtrade on: January 12, 2017, 12:59:59 AM
You quoted me, so I assume the "we" is you and I?  I don't recall every discussing that, no.

Sorry, I was using "we" as inclusive of everyone that had commented on either this thread or any crazybtrade threads. I'll make that distinction next time.

And I'm not sure what that has to do with what I'm asking.

The bet results are based off BTCC buy price and the volume. If any combination of the hash with those values in the same second is a loss, then crazybtrade can state that they used those values to calculate the bet and that it was automated.

It's not to say that the bets aren't automated, but there's the chance for larger bets to be processed manually (and then used to scam)

Quote from: DarkDays link=topic=1732739.msg17476876#msg17476876
Are you trying to say that 9 of the bets were never "rolled" and the owner just stole the money straight away without any pretenses of fairness?

Perhaps the bets were not rolled because crazybtrade made the wild assumption that they were going to be used as fraudulent transactions - double spent if they lost.

4982  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The RollinCoin scammer is back (again) as crazybtrade on: January 11, 2017, 11:27:18 PM
It does look like all of those transactions went through.  Do you have the 'results' anywhere?  Did you not get paid on winning bets?  That seems pretty bad, especially since all of the bets were coming from the same address.

In the past, had we not talked about how there's no clear way to verify the bets since it takes the BTCC exchange buy price and volume at a given timestamp (specified to the second)? (link)

Whatever results crazybtrade would offer can not be proven to be true... and likewise with PuraPuraBego.

you removed link with image from quote!
and ask tx id?

for example see it:
https://blockchain.info/tx/9041dde8bab67aa7d9e7b0623e343c0f2d6da4396a26db3e2fa93b0debcaff21 Transaction not found tx will be disappeared after he did not confirmed (lose bet)

What does that transaction have to do with anything? It doesn't match any of PuraPuraBego's transaction ID's that he listed, and could simply be a random txid that you came up with.

@crazybtrade, how did you manage to "lose" your wallet? It couldn't have possibly had only one address in it (which was the one that gained the 0.9 BTC) could it? If it in fact is only one address, then how did you initially fund the wallet?

4985  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: READ IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED on: January 08, 2017, 03:18:35 AM
It will break contact with the scammers current leads/targets/victims also force him/her to change all the adverting with the email address.

You have to do something to stop them . . . .

Wow, it's not as if scammers could use different email addresses to hide their tracks or anything! Of course they'll repeatedly use the same email address to contact people, and it might even be their personal one!

This 'service', if even legitimate (though I wouldn't know what you could possibly do apart from meaningless spam) is useless unless against the stupidest scammers.
4986  Economy / Reputation / Re: Got negative trust [no reason] [WTF] on: January 07, 2017, 07:48:10 PM
Maybe some vigilantes should warn his peers wherever he claims to be trusted elsewhere..

Unfortunately, due to the fact that anyone could have registered the username apexofservice, there is no clear way to form a connection between this apexofservice and any other apexofservice accounts. For example, if I were to register an account with a username of satoshi on a different forum and scam on there, there is no link between the satoshi on that forum and the satoshi anywhere else.

Otherwise, there would be issues with individuals attempting to frame users.
4987  Economy / Reputation / Re: Got negative trust [no reason] [WTF] on: January 07, 2017, 07:16:04 PM
Turns out he also created a thread, asking for "Best Ways to Scam".
That thread does not exist. You cannot point to it, can you?

I hadn't noticed that, thanks. And thank you Timelord2067. I've added an extra negative to OP.
I think this is a personal attack.

You mean that this thread had never existed? Lying is bad. I'll add another negative to your account. Looks like you'll have a nice fancy collection of them!

Again, please read a little more before making the new account, since else you'll end up again with negative feedback sooner or later.
This has been my name for years. Just search this name on google, you will find that I am trusted!

I can also register on other forums and claim that I am apexofservice, but unless there is verification from the original sources, the claim is unproven. The onus is on you.

since they occurred after the post you deemed yours.

You lent your account to a friend of yours for the entire month of December, is that right? Otherwise, you will have some more posts to justify. However, this doesn't seem logical considering you were blacklisted on the 19th of December. It took you weeks to stop allowing your 'friend' to post on behalf of your account?

Strange, given that the seclog shows that you changed your password on the 20th. Things would match up, making it seem like you restricted access and were posting on your own since that date... which would mean you were still responsible for a significant portion of the posts I listed.

4989  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Sig Spammers list and banned from Campaigns list on: January 07, 2017, 05:40:55 PM
I had PM'd about rating me based on your Blacklist members. You replied that I had a lot of post burst(every 1-10 minutes). Does that matter if one posts decent stuff? I don't understand how that qualifies as a condition for marking someone as spammer Sad
If possible, please give details of what to do and what not to do as a campaign member.

Report it and/or PM the user instead of replying.

Please lock this thread as some people don't understand English and/or have a personal bot made to post their Bitcoin address whenever they find the word "gets XXXBTC".

Prime dice is the best place to earn a lot of bitcoins free . I get the free bitcoin from the faucet and from that i earn about 2 bitcoins from my luck . The only thing you need here is some luck and some strategy.

I dont think China is controlling bitcoins. Bitcoins is a fee online cyptocurrency and it must not be controlled by any country.

I think primedice should be the best because it provides us with free btc from faucet. There are some people who earned a lot of bitcoins from the faucet. Its great that only luck that helps us  in earning lots of btc.

4990  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitdouble.io SCAM [Scammed $700] on: January 07, 2017, 03:41:31 AM
Here's the main problem with your story:

Your account was "hacked" by your brother and bets were made. In that event, is it not easy to simply claim that your account was used improperly and try to get a refund if you lost? You did not show the full log so it is unclear whether the bets actually resulted in wins or not (though it seems like it may have been implied)

Seems like your brother's 'prank' was also pretty stupid. If it went from 90 mBTC to 0 and back, that means all of the balance was placed on a bet that had a 1 in 15 chance to lose. If you share the account, why in the world would he decide to 'prank' you by potentially losing all of the balance? You use this account together but allow someone reckless to have the possibility of squandering your money?

Along with this, if you made $700, that means that the balance was multiplied by 9.32, which at the very least would take a spin on green @ $50. Your brother would do that? As you said, "his prank was to change the password and try to withdraw the money to another address," but did that actually include betting?

4991  Economy / Services / Re: Bitsler Signature & Avatar Campaign (Earn up to .05/week)Sr member-Staff(FULL) on: January 06, 2017, 11:11:17 PM
Payment received on the site but I withdrew and the funds never arrived and not only that but the withdrawal is not even in the withdraw log? I'm puzzled by this.

Should I open a ticket there?

This might be due to the fact that Bitsler's wallet spends unconfirmed funds - where they will take a while to be confirmed. My withdrawal didn't show up on the log either, though - even after it was confirmed.

Along with that, the fees are static but the mempool is not. Hence if everyone withdraws with only hte 0.0002 fee but you decide to use the 0.0004 fee, it won't change anything if there's a backlog. Take a look at one of these addresses (which I presume are Bitsler's) https://blockchain.info/address/3MHABP5wwPzKoVSLw13CrSgmdhhubPS1S1

Will you show us the post to have a little bit of context? A partially off-topic post would have to be justified somewhat, so if you think it is, let's see it.

Also, here's an excerpt from the rules:

Quote
23. When deciding if a user has broken the rules, the staff have the right to follow their interpretation of the rules.[e]

You may have thought that the post was funny, but what about anyone else? And no, the thread-starter should not have a say-so - that will wrongfully put power into the hands of people. If the one who starts a thread is an alt and allows spam, would you let them have a say in the deletion process?
4993  Other / Meta / Re: Multiple Accounts? on: January 05, 2017, 06:58:01 PM
I will update this post with the requested info / create another one, unless someone else beats me to it.

Just a few posts, thanks.

http://astrohacker.com/ahc/bitcoin-is-the-economic-singularity/

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The world just isn't going to be the same and we have been blessed as the pioneers.

What are you going to do with your Bitcoin wealth once your coins hit upwards of $10,000 a pop?
Wow! Amazed that this was wrote more than 5 years ago. I'm sure you guys must be quite rich now.
But for us newbies, not there yet. It will take much more to own 10 BTC now, but hopefully we will reach that mark and then I think we will be quite rich as well.

@OP, what made you think that this was a quality post that contributed to the thread? Keep in mind that this is post #3474.

Wow! More than 54% voted yes, lucky you guys. I'm still on the other 45% side. Unfortunately, but hopefully I will in 2017. At least that is what I am after next in btc world.
Lets see how far I can go.

Post #151. Explain to us why this post is necessary.

Where can we trade bitcoin Instantly? Buy and sell bitcoin instantly sounds like the ideal deal when we want earn profits from bitcoin with its ever changing value in dollars.
But is there a place where we can buy and sell bitcoin instantly?

You started this thread, though the answer could have been found in the very same section that you posted in.

I voted for mass adaptation. Though price increase is also very important for bitcoin users and vendors but its the mass adaptation that will thrive the currency and industry as well. It will also help in increasing the price and will make it more useful for even a non tech guy.

For me, quality posts cannot exist in spam megathreads (with thousands of replies) unless they are extremely outstanding and the user decided to post in there for some reason.

If it looks like it could have been done in less than 15 seconds, the post is likely not a quality post. If you're using vague and general terms or recycling content from previous posters, that is not a quality post. Bad grammar is usually an indication of poor quality, though the information in the reply is the most important part and thus you cannot base it purely on grammar (though if the way that the information is given is unclear, so is the message)

One-liners are typically spam, though there are obvious exceptions for when the question/argument has a clear and definitive answer that is concise. (You can find some cases of these in Technical Support and Discussion)

4994  Other / Meta / Re: What is the purpose of signatures? on: January 05, 2017, 05:40:38 AM
My argument would have been that users could post links to interesting discussions and threads that they enjoy/started that are of importance/substance but then we run into the problem where BCT has a minuscule number of people who would advertise them, and an even smaller amount of threads to be shown.

The profile is also not spacious enough unless the signature were replaced with a "bio" section and personal text does not support bbcode like the signature, though this is hardly an arguing point.

If anyone is able to come up with definitive positives then that would be great, but even I have to agree that it's difficult to find any. Preferably without involving signature campaigns in it - we all know the problems involved with them.
4995  Other / Meta / Re: [SMAS] Signature Managers against Spam (light version) on: January 04, 2017, 07:38:47 PM
Cool, even then, I never spewed garbage while participating in a signature campaign. Im just saying because you post a couple shitposts while wearing a signature is not the end of the world, but I was cautious about it and still ended up there.

Really?

Nobody knows about bitcoin in real life. If you could go and ask to 10 people, you would find out that 0 would know what bitcoin is. So its like 1 in 100 people maybe have heard of it.

Go all in on Bitcoin, pretty sure we will be above 1000 in a year, it's that easy to be honest.

I can see kids making bitcoins in the future through youtube video and social media. Some kids now have huge followings and make money with ad revenue.

Yeah I already saw it, it's prety decent and professional, but I would not recommend blockchain.info to store any relevant amount of bitcoins.

Post #5; you're simply using vague and general terms to describe the ad yet fail to explain why - this sentence could apply to many threads.

We don't stop seeing people saying how they lost passwords, hard drives and so on, losing coins forever.

Is this rate of coins being lost bigger than the rate coins are being generated at?

Created thread: this is a pointless thread and can only lead to senseless spam

I trust institutions increasingly less yearly, I only feel safe by carrying bitcoins at this point.

Though I don't deny that you have some quality posts there, I found far too many useless ones. When the thread already has so many replies and you post with a generic answer that can be thought of in less than 10 seconds, is that really constructive?

All campaings that pay decently use SMAS except betcoin.ag which actually take the time to select members for themselves.
I was not aware of this, source?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

That's just a list of signature campaigns. What are your intentions by posting this?

You are going to raise standards so high that you'll end up banning like 99% of people from campaigns.
~18% of the total users (normal list + special list + banned list) are currently enrolled in Bitmixer. I've actually had a small *spike* of very constructive users lately, thus your argument is invalid.

I never had a single problem in the endless sig campaigns i've participated at, always told that I did a good job. It's only after the SMAS thing started that I get insta rejected because all managers do is copy+c on your nickname and ctrl+f on this thread, if you are there then you are fucked, it's as simple as that, and it's unfair. Im sure I would have been able to participate in all those campaigns managed by yahoo in a pre-SMAS environment.

Managers operate at their own discretion. They can choose to follow the SMAS list or not.
4996  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting DT members to have a clear stance on buying & selling accounts on: January 04, 2017, 03:51:18 PM
A few more examples of account sellers that Lauda/Lutpin has failed to leave negative trust for:

achow101
blazed
mexxer-2
KWH
shorena
zazarb
redsn0w
yahoo62278
grtthegreat

EAL (buyer, not a seller)

I would like to know why Lauda/Lutpin are not going to leave any kind of a negative trust rating on any of the above.

Would time play a factor in this, given that most of these are over a year old? (apart from grtthegreat's thread)

Of course, this doesn't mean that the account sales had never happened, but what is true is that they are no longer actively involved in account sale activity. Even if DT members would hound after account sellers, who do you think should be targeted first? Individuals who were involved in it a year ago, or individuals who are currently selling/buying accounts?

4997  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin poker on: January 03, 2017, 01:16:22 PM
Not sure about villain's playstyle (perhaps fishy due to the micro-stakes table) but on the flop IMO you should have checked and allowed their hand to improve. I wouldn't expect villain to call a half-pot bet without 8x or Qx especially on a rainbow with no draws.

Checking then betting on the flop would probably be better.

You can respond with your ideas, I'd like to hear them.

I think I'll tune in to see more updates! Though, as a professional player, shouldn't you be playing at higher stakes?

In the event of a necrobump, can all subsequent posts be deleted? There are rare times when necrobumps lead to a continuation of quality discussion, which I have yet to witness.

Here are consecutive posts after the bump (and this is page 12), just to drive the point.

This should have never happen. I mean its software fault, there should be safe procedures for that.
If fee is higher than amount spent, block it Sad
This is possibly some error done by the software or by the sender. Such fees could only be possible if you send tens of thousand of bitcoins in one transaction. The miners are very lucky if they received 15 btc in one go.

This is a shocking reality in bitcoin reality and has happened once in a lifetime. This should be recorded in bitcoin history as the highest bitcoin transaction fee ever recorded.

Well it is not that big of an amount to be honest, compared to the ones that are being sent every second,  couple a  minutes ago I saw a transaction of 100 btc, like how that is even possible, how are they able to send that large amount of bitcoin for fees, whoever has that amount must be filthy rich to be able to send for miner's sake.
I just wondering , how can this type of mistake possible? I think fee are automatically being charged right. This is such huge huge mistake ever , I can't even imagine if that was me. Pheww. Looking at current btc price and 15 btc as fee. I'm going to shop and buy myself a rope. LoL !

The fee is whatever is left from the inputs that is not spent. If you are using some a wallet this shouldn't happen unless there is a bug.
Wow, what a huge amount! This guy spent fortune for a fee. But how this could even happen, unless is some kind of bug. The fee is way to big for amount spent so transaction couldn't even be executed. Or am I wrong?  Anyway, this was one in a time lucky event for miners.
MAy be someone made a mistake by putting 15 btc fees instead of 15 Mbtc (noob mistake ?)

There are two pages worth of this crap. Should there be an auto-lock feature? Any arguments against it should be able to be justified through manual unlocking of the thread (either via staff or the thread starter). It can be after x days or x pages.

Perhaps a mass purging of all threads in

would help.

5000  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet.com don't pay out winning on: January 02, 2017, 10:02:03 PM
Actually, I didn't know that it forbidden, as I thought that bitcoins is anonymous. I have just one account, but there were few persons, who made a bets from the same IP, as I clarified later.
Why they didn't have to pay out my winnings? Does world "forezen" means confiscate? BTW, Cloudbet clearly gave me to understand (by the e-mail), if I will provide all information they will pay out my bitcoins.

5.1.9.3. Only one account per customer/IP/household is allowed. If you attempt and/or successfully open more than one account, all of your accounts may be blocked, suspended or closed and any bitcoin credited to your account frozen.

If there are multiple accounts to a single person or IP address, then they can be closed.

And sure, Cloudbet could have stated that they would return the funds, but it could all be a simple ruse. Given your current standing, you can't really be complaining given that you violated the terms. The word "frozen" does not necessarily mean that your winnings are confiscated, though depending on what you've done with the multiple accounts, I wouldn't say that it's not a likely outcome.
