4981  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Breaking historic resistance on: June 07, 2020, 11:14:57 PM
It didn't really turn out to mean anything, looking at bitcoin right now it was like a phyrric victory where it took so much from bitcoin to break over it that there is no more resistance there and its not really that bad to go back up now and easier but the price still went down anyway since we couldn't stay there and go back down. That breaking of resistance weakened bitcoin too much and that is why it wasn't going any further up, so it dropped back down with just one sell pressure.

The thing, is that we are seeing lower volume than normal, not an good indication. And that's why we have been seeing this kind of fluctuations specially if we are about to touch $10,000. Stochastic and RSI are almost in the overbought zone.

It's really hard to see where we are right now, I will just stay at the background and see how it goes in the next 48 hours, but yes, there's a lot of opportunities here, but you really need to be very careful and learn to mitigate risk.
4982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin and Black America’ Author: Protest by Buying BTC on: June 07, 2020, 10:29:11 PM
Now look at this,

We have a token called “George Floyd Token,” or FLYD in crypto sphere, and this is the result of people taking advantage of this situation. So again, it attract more attention to Bitcoin, and we think it's good for free advertisement.

But when someone takes this to the next level and use George Floyd name and created this shady token, then this is something that we need to inspect as it will bring another negative connotation to crypto space in general.
4983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does it mean when a daily volume is significantly low? on: June 07, 2020, 05:23:44 AM
If you look at the chart of Bitcoin. The volume of the latest day is lower than all the days post the march crash. Can someone experienced explain what this would imply? My thinking is that being not interested shows weakness. I am on team bear for now.

Thanks in advance!

Trading volume usually is a indicator, higher price and low volume could indicate that the bears has a strong case and could drag the market price down. However, there are factors that you need to look as well, like the liquidity of that exchanges and we all know that volumes can be fake, or similarly, they can pull what we call "spoof trading". So just be careful when you are trading, don't just look at volume as key indicators in making your decision to go long or short.

4984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Betting this June? on: June 07, 2020, 04:26:58 AM
For those who miss reading the past post, here's the possible fight this month according to Bob Arum.

https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news/top-rank-boxing-schedule-bob-arum-sets-main-events-dates-for-six-fight-cards-in-june/

Hopefully there will be no trouble and this fight will take place per schedule.

Bob Arum is really brave he has good insight and he really loves this sport, a lot of people who depends on this industry owe him for initiating this, as long as they can follow the guidelines and the protocols, the industry can move even though slowly until such time that we are out of this pandemic.

Bob love the sport and love the money it will generate under his promotion, lol...
Anyway, if we look at other sports like basketball, football and others which involves a lot of players to play the game, they are close to resuming already, so I guess there would be no problem with boxing as there are only two person that will have close contact with each other, and this industry does not sell fight on a daily basis.

It's only business to Bob, LOL. Every sports are already resuming and I'm sure everyone is aware that this could be the new normal for us. Our lives should move even with the current threat of the virus. And probably those boxers that are going to be in the ring could have been tested for the virus itself.

Thanks for the odds, I'm not sure to bet though, it seems that the favorites are going to win in my opinion. I'm not seeing any upsets in the first fight in this pandemic.
4985  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy on: June 07, 2020, 04:03:47 AM
Now the question is how countries are going to survived in this new norm. All business have slowly coming back, however, it is very different. Restaurants and anything food related, you can't just sit on the table and order food, almost all services are done and 'to-go'. Companies are laying off employees, but there could be sector that will boom in this intra-pandemic scenario.

I think every countries can recover and will adapt, humans are so resilient that we can adjust at any situations, even the worst in our history. It might take some time though, the thing is that we are moving now and that is a good sign that there are hope for a recovery.
4986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin and Black America’ Author: Protest by Buying BTC on: June 07, 2020, 02:08:37 AM
This just complicate things for Bitcoin though and how everyone will think that they are supporting the protest or the movement by buying BTC? Doesn't make sense at all. I think its better for Bitcoin to stay away from any political movement across the globe.

It was not designed to be used as a tool, in my opinion. And for those who are going to buy because of this, do they really know what Bitcoin is? It could backfire on cryptocurrency in general, if such event happens whether in US or EU or ME and someone will stood with a placard with "Buy Bitcoin".
4987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 06, 2020, 02:00:16 AM

{..snip..}

And that is the best decision you are going to make, forget about your gambling addiction for just a second and think of the long term effect.

For sure many gamblers are going to be happy seeing their favourite casino open in other parts of the world, however, you really don't know what will happen to you. Philippines did a good job, trying to control the spread of the virus, and now that they are easing their quarantine, I do hope that the government did make the best decision for the Filipinos.
Indeed. You should step aside your gambling addiction and think about your own safety or your health because it will be the best for you and your family. We all know this community quarantine lockdown is taking too long and a lot of people are suffering because they can't do the things that they love, so they should still have patience and faith for the vaccine to come for them to the things that they love again like gambling.

Thanks to both of you, yes I'm stepping aside by addiction, although it is really hard to stop it, but I have to because of safety concerns and it could save me money in this current pandemic.

Yes, I'm also in favor of the re-opening no doubt to make the economy roll again. But gamblers should make their own decision and don't blame the government or the casino if they contacted the virus. Everyone should be responsible now, not just the money that you gamble, but your health as well. So think wisely!!!
4988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Google: What is the best performing asset in 2020 on: June 06, 2020, 12:53:40 AM
Not only that there are investors willing to risk this volatility because many possibilities are here right now .
--
At the same time it would mean a lot for people since due to Quarantine most of us are having a really hard time.
-the news authorities needs to stop talking about the volatility of the cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins (every investor knows well what they are getting into) they now need to cover up this news and see all the good it's doing for the community.
There are people who like to take risks, others who don't. This is the right of each person, can not be forced even though many people say the risk of investing in bitcoin can be minimized by conducting a market analysis.

Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes.

This is the impact of accumulation. The popularity of bitcoin as an investment product continues to increase after surprising many people in 2017. So many people are trying to get into this ecosystem. Halving moments, then the effects of a global pandemic, and various other things that encourage people to be more creative and innovative in finding alternative business/trade/investment that can provide great opportunities in difficult times like this.

Accumulation is just one factor for the popularity of Bitcoin. And I think even before the pandemic, it is already performing well and above expectations. And probably the pandemic really pushes it even more, when people are looking for one asset that they can hold, not name Gold or Stocks.
4989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 06, 2020, 12:16:29 AM
I thought he will be fighting crawford a much younger boxer but i guess there's no merit for him in those fighters as they're only rising stars.
Golovkin is a perfect match and it might trigger floyd to come out of hiding, if that is his main goal.

And I thought it would be Mikey Garcia.

Mikey Garcia, Spence, or Crawford, this is the front runner for a Pacquiao sweepstakes. So we really don't  know how Golovkin's name came into picture.

We've been talking here about it and we thought that if Manny could fight Garcia, Manny would clapped Mikey Garcia. I am not belittling Garcia, it is just that it is clear that Manny could KO this boxer. In terms of Golovkin, I think this would be a fight just like Margarito where Manny would be fighting another fighter with height advantage against him.

Pacquaio for most of his career, specially when he move up to the Welterweight division has been fighting taller guys. So I guess we can say that he is comfortable is that zone. However, GGG is a natural 160-168 lbs, so not just height but weight advantage. Manny's camp should not take this, there are more bigger fish to fry in the Welterweight division.
4990  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers using Profile of High rank members to join social campaign of UNIFINITY on: June 05, 2020, 10:12:53 PM
Good that I'm not in the list, but damn, this has been practices in late 2017 and I thought bounty managers or should be all aware of this kind of fraud. And yet it is already 2020 and those cheaters still find way to use this old but effective fraudulent practice. I think we need the bounty managers to check everyone of his participants.

And thanks to the @cryptoaddictchie for a great job catching them. Checking the profile of the bounty manager, it seems to be his first time to handle a campaign and probably this is the reason why many cheaters where able to get in. But this is not an excuse and I do hope that he will reply on this thread.
4991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammy Bitcoin False Breakout Detection on: June 05, 2020, 01:58:06 AM
Shady or scammy call what it is, the market has been always like this as the market is free and open and manipulation could happen at any moment. That's why we need to be careful here, otherwise you will get burn and rekt and blame the system for your loss.

Good that your bot has detected this price movement and so are other as well. That's why they take advantage, as short and longs got liquidated very quick. And even Coinbase itself went down temporarily because of the sudden price movement.
4992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 05, 2020, 12:40:53 AM
I'm pretty sure that you are aware that I do love to play in land base casino, My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. And my favorite place to play is Resorts World and City of Dreams. So I'm really excited if Pagcor will allow those two big casino's to open up in this new norm.

So it's going to be a big dilemma to me, should I go and play or think of my safety first? So we will see, if this will push through then I have to fight this feeling again as a value more of my health and I'm afraid to get infected. So probably I will pass, LOL.
4993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current US Economic Catastrophe Caused by Anti-Racism Movement has Impact on BTC on: June 05, 2020, 12:17:04 AM
I think he was considered as "NBA Player" because of the support he got from African-American NBA players. Unless the OP has mistaken him for "Paul George". Anyways, this is really sad though, it's just like history repeats itself here.

But I don't see any correlation though, I think people just wanted to connect this event to crypto specially on Bitcoin because we can see some protesters carry placards with BTC (Bitcoin) on it. Maybe they like sending some message that Bitcoin is freedom here, but I doubt it will have a impact as far as adoption or price goes.
4994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 04, 2020, 05:45:01 AM
She's still is a GOAT in my opinion, she outlived here contemporaries, Hingis, Clijsters, Davenport, Henin. Some name that I can think of right now.  Smiley

Yes, as of now, she probably is. But I wrote "GOAT forever" and if she was as fit as the players I mentioned, I think no one would ever come close to what she would have achieved. Just like if Steffi Graf had a backhand Grin

But these GOAT discussions are always a bit meh, because the game changes so fast. Put any of the Top10 WTA from 2020 in the Steffi Graf era and they would win every tournament basically imo. These players now have way better equipment, the game is faster, the players are insanely fit, spend hours in the gym, look after their diet etc. Then again put Steffi Graf in Margaret Court era and she herself would win everything there.

Steffi Graf owes many of her titles and victories in tennis to one tragic event, the attack of a sick person on Monica Seles at the 1993 Hamburg tournament.
By that point Monica Seles was much better than Steffi Graf and dominated women’s tennis like Serena Williams today.
If it weren't for that tragedy, no one would be talking about Stefa Graf today, but about Monica Seles.

It was a passing of the torch that time, from Monica Seles to Steffi Graf. And you are right, Monica is already dominating that time, its just unfortunate that this stabbing had happened, pushing her back and the true potential to stay at the top of the game.

I agree that we can't compare era's, it has been the case in many sports. Just like in tennis, when the sisters come into the scene, everything has change, Hingis was still the best women's player out there, until Serena took over.

4996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Lot of things to focus on BTC!! on: June 03, 2020, 07:45:21 AM
It is not easy to predict this time because bitcoin still at the search for a stable position at $10k now. But if there is nothing bad happen out there, bitcoin price can increase, and I guess that we will see another bullish trend for bitcoin. Or maybe we will see another correction for a while before the bitcoin price increase, and I hope that we don't feel surprised if the price is down deeper below $10k.

keep an eye on btc volume. 10.5k is a strong resistance. Volume should be high, then it will be broken. after that btc can touch $11k.

No volume, the only volume we see is that huge sell orders on most exchanges as the price goes to $9500 after hitting that 5 digit.

but now, volume that are generating are not that much satisfying. that's why btc can make a correction to 9850 to 9500 (60% chance) in this week .

That's what I'm trying to say, it should at least hold around $9950, but it didn't, too much psychological for most traders. But the good thing is that this is just a healthy correction, as we all know that when we have this kind of correction, it will be followed by around push, and this time we might see $10500 at least.
4997  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Surge - What is happening? on: June 03, 2020, 06:50:57 AM
I'm sorry but the spike didn't last that long, after Bitcoin going above $10,000 it seems that the price wasn't sustainable at all.

Over a $130 Million in Bitcoin Shorts Liquidated as Bitcoin Reclaims $10,000 - https://www.thecryptoassociate.com/over-a-130-million-in-bitcoin-shorts-liquidated-as-bitcoin-reclaims-10000/

And I don't know if this news has something to do with the Bitcoin rejecting that five digits again:

4998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 03, 2020, 02:58:50 AM
I think this is just one factor though, but remember, games like NBA, top tier teams vs the lower one? Which you would you pick and beat without home court advantage? Obviously, it will still be the top team. Doesn't matter at all I guess, the team with the most wins have a higher chance of winning regardless if they are playing home court or not, just saying.
4999  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dont fucking ask for KYC at all if your not going to require it at the beginning on: June 02, 2020, 04:18:43 AM
Fucking scam exchange services and scam casinos.  It is a fucking scam if you are not going to require KYC before the initial deposit and then require it when someone tries to withdraw.

Either require KYC from the first signup or don't require it at all.

These fucking selective scammers are pulling this shit for too long. These bullshit "webwallets" and "casinos".

Read their TOS very carefully in the beginning so that we won't go to the hassle of sending your KYC info if you don't link. But I would say that yes, it is a shady practice by some exchanges and casinos in beginning. When you sign up, there are no warnings. And when you try to withdraw specially in a casino wherein you won tons of bitcoin, they will suddenly enforce KYC and will 'delay' your withdrawal. You are lucky enough that you can withdraw, because there could be casinos that are going to suspend your account for no reasons at all.

The campaign continues. My big apology for the 1-day delay payment. Thank you.
No problem, but the exchange rate should be considered according to the usual timing, which is on Monday.

Yes, if you look at the 5th week campaign spreadsheet, you will see this on top,
