4981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 12, 2021, 05:34:46 PM
Why would it be up for debate to determine whether  this sport is ethical or not, wouldn't this be some kind of discrimination to do so? Anyway not sure about its ethical view but just like any other sport Paralympic Games shouldn't be treated any different as they are recognized sports, so people can bet on them however they like unless if you said this sport was considered to be illegal like dog fighting, street fighting or something.

4982  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: August 12, 2021, 04:45:23 PM
If you are a gambling man or woman you must know that we have a few games around this time and I must admit 1xbit does have quite a large selection of games especially around this time where most leagues are on a break. I visited other crypto gambling sites to see what games they had available but non came close, with 1xbit  they are never short of games at any one time and that is both prematch and live games.

By the way I also did a comparison of its apps and we all have to agree this is one of the best gambling apps I have seen, other alternatives in the market only rely on their web sites which isn't enough to be honest. What I would like to see is login possibilities via Google or Facebook just to make it easy to access an account otherwise 1xbit are really pushing the bar high. And as always no problems on withdraws and deposits on my side, hope this continues.

4983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: August 12, 2021, 04:07:34 PM
I do agree and this is because listing on the exchange isn't just about you paying the listing fees!
The project has to prove it self without reasonable doubt that it has what it takes to bring liquidity to the exchange and not just another scam project after potential investors and investors money. Sometimes listing on Binance takes the project to compete against other good projects which tells you the popularity and genuineness of the exchange.

4985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs binance Coin on: August 12, 2021, 07:47:38 AM
There are currently many coins in cryptocurrency, including light coins and binance coins. But now Binance Coin is take very good position than litecoin. Can you think litecoin  also overtake binance.
As always we need to know that price of a coin depends on supply and demand and if we look at the mechanisms Binance is using to push its price you will realize that litecoin can not compete,it stands no chance!
Binance coin has blend of ways to push its price up such as token burns which reduces its supply in the market over time making them scarce and has a blockchain which is fueled by the same coin so it has no issues of demand while litecoin relies on its old users for demand.
4986  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-11-08] Crypto industry seeks to build momentum after losing Senate fight on: August 12, 2021, 06:36:31 AM
Cryptocurrency leaders say that even though they failed to change language related to the regulation of their industry in the Senate's bipartisan infrastructure bill, the heated floor fight over it underscores their growing power in Washington.

They're gearing up to use that momentum to push back on the bill in the House and take the lead on future cryptocurrency rules.

"I think we were an unexpected force to be reckoned with," said Kristin Smith, executive director of the BlockChain Association.

The industry group, along with cryptocurrency companies and digital rights advocacy groups, created a joint front to push back on a provision in the bill that they argued included an overly broad definition of "broker" that would sweep in regulations for software developers and so-called miners.

"We were able to sort of work outside of some of our traditional allies and build a bigger coalition, and one that we think, despite not getting it across the finish line in the end, was actually pretty effective," Smith said.

The provision on cryptocurrency regulation helps fund the roughly $1 trillion bill, which cleared the Senate on Tuesday. The reporting requirements could raise $28 billion over 10 years, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation.

Industry leaders, however, warned the broad definition might lead to unintentionally requiring software developers and miners to report data they wouldn't even have access to, which could stifle innovation and push the industry outside of the U.S.

After 40,000 calls to legislators and more than 10,000 tweets with the hashtag #DontKillCrypto, led by digital rights group Fight for the Future, the cryptocurrency community won over support from a bipartisan group of senators who offered amendments to redefine brokers in a way aimed to keep it from sweeping in the developers and transaction validators.

Messi's gone now, will El classico be popular the same way ?
We know Messi had a huge following but come on, no one player is bigger than a club. We have seen players come and go and this isn't any different,  but if you want a challenge let Messi help the French league get the recognition it needs.

Will La liga still be interesting as of old, exception for the rise of a great talent?
Eden Hazard not even at he's Best, Gareth Bale as well far gone the he's best...... We'll miss great reports emmanating from that League.
What talent have you envisaged rising ? ?
I agree names to look forward to has being made narrow, I can't think of any big name that I can wait and look forward too for a weekend  game. Hope the likes of suarez, Aguero and everyone else can excite the league once again.
4988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: August 10, 2021, 02:39:34 PM
Yeah they do all the time, and it's all done to set themselves up for some super cheap coins from the panicking and weak hands.
Without manipulation these whales wouldn't be in the market neither would markets be pumped by them.
So in the end As much as manipulation may sound like a bad thing it also works in our as price goes up during this manipulation process.
4989  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-08-02] China's Digital Yuan vs Bitcoin on: August 09, 2021, 09:55:40 PM
A centralized cryptocurrency can never be as popular as bitcoin is today,  and its too big of a coin to be compared to it.
Afaik the Chinese government squeezed out bitcoin miners out of China not because of the carbon emissions but they are trying to get sympathy for it government controlled coin so that people turn to it and not bitcoin. Btw cryptocurrencies exist in such a way that they operate without boarders, how will Chinas Digital Yuan the operate.
4990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Greed in Gambling on: August 09, 2021, 09:44:36 PM
Not to glorify greed but i think sometimes you need it, those guys we hear about winning millions from a couple of dollars would never have done it if it wasn't for greed, imagine off a $100 you have a cashout option of $10000 many would take the deal and a few greedy gamblers will go all the way hoping to catch the millions.

4992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 08, 2021, 11:57:58 PM
If cryptocurrencies are said to be the future of money then they need to find a way to integrate it into their platforms to grow their client base but the only thing holding them back is state regulation.
Most of these casinos are excited to offer it to their customers but their state laws don't allow and they will not risk their license for the sake of accepting cryptocurrencies. But once laws give a go ahead all casinos will be out there advertising their new payment alternatives to try win new customers to their business.
4993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money? on: August 08, 2021, 11:47:02 PM
We might be hard-core crypto users but I still think fiat is still instrumental in our cryptocurrencies success, we still have a long way to go before crypto can be independent to stand on its own.
But what I find in crypto to be appealing is the low fees I spend to make money transfers than that on fiat with could Cost 10x more.

Using Crypto has its advantages in terms of investment I don't need to go round looking for assets to invest in, crypto is both medium of payment and investment while fiat is only a medium of payment.
4994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 08, 2021, 11:36:09 PM
I have never put gambling on my budget because this feels like you always be gambling, probably becoming an addict too.
I think I don't go big with gambling such that your income is all redirected to gambling. All I do is work with a fixed amount I set aside to play with as my safety  net to avoid over spending.  By the way I have cut down on gambling because my losses are catching up with me, the house is just too good looking for something more profitable.
4995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: August 08, 2021, 11:22:53 PM
I really don't have a preferred choice of which trading platform to use but the most I use is Binance which is a people's favorite, but I only have one problem with it...my card is moody sometimes am able to buy my crypto sometimes am unable to use  it not even sure if this is a problem on my side or Binance's side. But overall Binance is good, it has a very huge collection of coins you can trade and prices are highly competitive if compared to other top exchanges.
4996  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-08-08] Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and Ted Cruz are among those criticizing pl on: August 08, 2021, 09:42:26 PM
Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and Ted Cruz are among those criticizing planned crypto tax rules, which could help fund the infrastructure package

As a bipartisan Senate moved toward a vote on President Joe Biden's infrastructure package, a chorus of leaders from Silicon Valley and Washington raised concerns about a provision that would add new taxes on crypto.

"The infrastructure deal contains DANGEROUS provisions that would devastate crypto and blockchain innovation," Sen. Ted Cruz said on Saturday.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk called the legislation "hasty," saying now was not the time for lawmakers "to pick technology winners or losers."

A bipartisan Senate bill last week included new tax rules for crypto trading firms and brokers, a move expected to raise about $28 billion in new tax revenue over a decade. The White House said the revenue would help fund President Joe Biden's infrastructure package.

Critics jumped on the idea. They said the tax rules would apply to a larger-than-planned group of crypto companies — some of which wouldn't be able to meet the reporting requirements.

So is there any new rumours about Kane though?

No transfer rumours but only some comments from the player and Nuno clearing the earlier rumours spread after Kane missing his training. He is gonna train soon and will join Spurs.  Now I am getting a feeling that Kane is probably gonna stay.
This lad is probably not going anywhere,  as fans let's not keep our hopes high from the looks of things Tottenham still need him, hope this denied transfer doesn't kill his morale to play football at its best.

PSG are yet to officially announce Messi's deal, but there have been significant changes to clubs reputation and it's "PSG fan Token" has already seen an increase of over 30% in the last 48 hours.
PSG fan token are these genuine tokens, and as far as football goes I have only heard of the Juventus coin, will have to look into the PSG coin hope it as a good concept for being created.

I'm really not convinced of the possibility of an hijacked deal from Chelsea, even though there have been several talks about that.
Chelsea is well known for hijacking deals that look like it's done nothing can go wrong, don't underestimate them, ask Manchester United fans they know them better.

4999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: August 08, 2021, 09:08:22 PM
These tweets that come from Elon Musk usually influence the pri e of dogecoin ,bitcoin and some other coins in the short run but not enough to cause a bull run.
One thing is for sure bitcoin needs serious reasons to cause a bull run, like new legislation which everyone is happy about this will cause price to go up.

Quote
But Will There Be Another Bull Run?
Yes these are cyclical in nature, today we might be in a bearish phase the next few weeks price could be in a bull run , it's all about the right time.
5000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: August 08, 2021, 08:45:23 PM
If that was going to happen am afraid to say these coins will be there just growing in value without anyone to claim them and I think this is a what happens with many crypto users bitcoins. And I think it's time to introduce family to this so that should anything happen they have some crypto to remember about should they decide to use it after am gone.
