501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Market's Future without all Cryptocurrencies? on: June 12, 2018, 10:32:18 PM
Cryptocurrencies have not affected financial markets that much. So I don't think the condition would be different than how it is today.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TOKEN] XYO - Decentralized Crypto-Location Oracle Network. Sale 20.03 on: June 12, 2018, 09:54:24 PM
he entire market is down today 5-6% and ETH is back to around 560 just have to be patient and have some faith. Keep your funds safe. Hold and don’t try to be a crypto trader. And after 6 months you will be happy.
The market falls 5%-10% every day

The team has been selling coins like this on their hands, but not willing to find a good platform.

There are also many other coins and token falling. There is no problem with XYO. The team is doing their work and you should be patient.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: June 12, 2018, 09:46:23 PM
If they make using bitcoin illegal, there will be still many people trading bitcoin. In that time, people will try more to hide their identity and that's the worse case than what is happening now. Now most of the people trade especially with fiat are known.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 12, 2018, 06:44:40 PM
Due to volatile of bitcoin its failed as a currency but success as an investment because even during past year Bitcoin has raised so much.

If bitcoin fails as a currency, it will also fail as an investment in long term. Now people invest in bitcoin due to its potential to become a global currency. If it is proved that bitcoin won't be a currency, there won't be a high demand.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: June 12, 2018, 06:18:46 PM
I completely agree with you. People are blaming Bitcoin that it allows helps the criminals in their illegal acts, but that’s the fault of criminals and not Bitcoin. The anonymous nature of Bitcoin makes it suitable for implementing illegal activities like money laundering, terrorism and drugs and weapon dealing, etc. but this depends on people for what purpose they are using a technology. Even fiat has been used for so many institutional frauds until now and there has been absolutely rampantly increase corruption too but still we are using fiat as our mainstream method of settlement.

Yes, we should blame those criminals, bot bitcoin. But bitcoin is making this easy for them. I am also not blaming bitcoin. The number of the advantages is much more than disadvantages.  I think regulation is a must.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin too volatile for payment, but what is the problem ? on: June 09, 2018, 09:14:51 PM
Bitcoin is too volatile for payment but the volatile always work in the pump direction and I don't see the volatile as a problem because it can be avoid which is the reason why merchants, shore owner or business owner who was to accept bitcoin as payment need to be knowledgeable.

always in the pump direction? What do you mean? Do you mean the price is always rising?
There is no guarantee that bitcoin price will always rise.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DECENTRALIZED OR CENTRALIZED? on: June 09, 2018, 09:07:49 PM
Bitcoin must be decentralized. The biggest difference of bitcoin with the fiat is decentralization. I think there is no need to something like bitcoin which is centralized. Because the fiat is exist. If bitcoin is not decentralized, there is no difference with bitcoin and fiat.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increased bitcoin users will increase internet usage affecting health of all on: June 08, 2018, 09:46:10 PM
I don't think bitcoin cause the Internet to be used more significantly. Almost all the people are now using Internet.
Those who are trying to know more about the blockchain technology and bitcoin use Internet more. But most of bitcoin are supposed to use bitcoin only for transaction. It doesn't take a long time.
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: June 08, 2018, 09:38:12 PM
in my opinion bitcoin has not reached its goal. The main purpose of bitcoin is to provide people with a fast, easy, and transparent mode of payment. But that's all just some of the goals that are fulfilled. It is very difficult to achieve its goal because bitcoin is still illegal in some countries.

I agree that bitcoin has not reached its main goal. But I am very positive about the future. Bitcoin has been created for peer to peer transactions. It takes a long time to replace the traditional payment systems and it's normal. Till now bitcoin has become more popular and It's great. There is no authority or media advertising bitcoin. So it takes a long time.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life experience paying with bitcoin on: June 08, 2018, 09:34:10 PM
thats really good people need examples so they can dare to try it too. If we let people see how we pay our bills or have a small mobile recharge using bitcoin then they will feel the power of this new technology. Its hard to take risk rather than telling others. Real life experience is needed and its good to see some useful posts in this discussion board after all.

Yes that is needed. Bitcoin should be used for transaction. That is the main purpose of bitcoin. Most of people don't try to learn blockchain technology and bitcoin. They need something that can be seen easily.
Sadly, Bitcoin is not used for the purpose it has been created.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Central Banks? on: June 08, 2018, 09:13:04 PM
From my perspective i think every country need central bank. Because central bank monitor all the financial market and they also issue note. They are the controller of all commercial banks also. Absence of central bank economy will collapse.

Yes you are right. What you mentioned is exactly what some people ignore that. They think making transactions is the only thing banks do. And a decentralized system like bitcoin can completely replace banks.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 07, 2018, 10:51:25 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

it's the first time I hear about this kind of investment in a bank. I don't know if that bank is working legal. Because it seems that it can easily scam people.
There is no doubt bitcoin is less risky than this bank. But generally banks are safe.
Bitcoin price can rise or fall. But no one will scam you if you keep your coins in a secure wallet.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: June 07, 2018, 10:42:17 PM
There is no impossible for Government to legalize bitcoin if they want. They can make it centralize to put regulation and taxes. Or they can communicate and make collaborate with crypto exchange so that they can put taxes for all the bitcoiners. If ever Government legalize bitcoin it will no longer anonymous if we make transaction because we need to put our identity before we can transact.

Seems that you don't how the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are working. Bitcoin is decentralized and it always will be. They can change bitcoin. They can only create a new coin. Then that's people determine whether they want that centralized coin or bitcoin. There is no doubt people will chose bitcoin or another decentralized coin.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: June 07, 2018, 03:35:16 PM
There is no quick solution. If a person wants to recover loses quickly. most probably he/she will lose more money. The best some one can do is learn from experiences and be more patient.
A person who has lost money, has gained  much experience instead of that money and these should be used for future profits.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What service missing in cryptoworld? on: June 07, 2018, 03:27:00 PM
In crypto world we see that there is many crypto and many service too. What do you think what service is missing in the cryptoworld.

The most important thing in cryptocurrencies is the privacy and anonymity. Unfortunately it's tried to remove this feature by authorities. So decentralized exchanges with no KYC is required however converting to fiat will be still a problem.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 📱 AppCoins - The New Blockchain-Based Protocol For The App Stores 🔋 on: June 07, 2018, 02:54:49 PM
marketing is so bad that's why these coin is at the bottom.

this idea of an ico is good, there's saying that there are many users but still why this coin is falling bad?

2 Listing only Binance and HUOBI. Hmmm.

Quick listing on Binance after end of the ICO caused the price to rise that much and the correction after listing was normal.
I agree that a better marketing can cause price to rise. But I think it's better to price rise after developments are done. At the end of 2018 a new all time high can be achieved.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it my impression or media is biased towards bad news ? on: June 07, 2018, 02:11:32 PM
Bitcoin is still new and most of the people don't know what bitcoin really is. They don't know its technology. They don't know its advantages.
Only a few people own bitcoin. Those who don't have bitcoin don't want bitcoin to be successful. These people and medias just notice to some people that earn money or lose money. They don't notice to its benefits.
Generally, the knowledge about bitcoin among people is not enough.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: We expect a favorable market in June? on: June 06, 2018, 10:35:44 PM
It's completely impossible to predict the market now. I remember similar predictions and similar posts in the forum since 2018 stated. From January to May and now it's the turn of June.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brisbane International Airport Now Accept Cryptocurrencies on: June 06, 2018, 10:28:14 PM
It's not the first time I hear about acceptance of a bitcoin by a company or store. But this one is really amazing. That giant airport can really affect bitcoin to become more popular. It's great.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone seen building hype is a liar on: June 06, 2018, 10:07:59 PM
Too many hype show. McAfee to teeka tenari. Teeka with a failed hype during consensus. I believe john McAfee will be next to fail on his prediction. I believe 70% he's wrong. I think Tim draper will be wrong too. It will probably be 25k in 2020. No one thought of that. Still much time to invest.

No one can predict the prices.
McAfee first starts to promote some coins in his twitter. I don't know whether he had been paid or he wanted his own coins prices to rise.
Any way, his speculations no longer work and no one believe him.
