502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RED EVERY WHERE. on: May 14, 2018, 05:21:37 AM
Everybody wants a market recovery, you can see that from the daily posts on the forums, but bitcoin and the alts are still so far refusing to deliver on those hopes. $9,300 is an important level in Bitcoin as so far there have been 4 attempts to breach this level and all have failed to hold foe more than a few days at most. Once that level has been properly taken out we will see a slow recovery phase.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking $20,000 again? on: May 14, 2018, 05:16:16 AM
It may be an unpopular view but I do not think that Bitcoin will reach $20,000 again this year, it is struggling too much right now to even break above $9,300 for more than a day or so. I think it will be mid 2019 before we see the 20,000 level approached once again.

ShareRing are proud to be hosting one of the biggest after parties during blockchain week in New York!

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins to moon 10-20x in 2018 on: May 13, 2018, 07:24:09 AM
We are already in May which is getting close to halfway through the year and with the best intentions the cryptocurrency market is still struggling to return to the bull phase. I know you may not like it but 2018 may be a year of consolidation rather than increases.

507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICOs on: May 12, 2018, 04:20:57 AM
There are a lot of ICO projects but I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing. It will only increase as more and more companies realise that they can integrate the blockchain into their business to help with tracking and for data distribution. If it can actually help to grow the overall crypto market cap and not spread it to thinly, this would actually be a good thing.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: May 12, 2018, 04:17:42 AM
There are plenty of women involved in crypto and on the bitcointalk forums I have also seen plenty involved in developing some of the new release ICO. I think some of the women tend to keep a lower profile as its easier to be anonymous and research your investing than have to deal with would be Romeos Wink
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking $20,000 again? on: May 11, 2018, 06:08:29 AM
If you have watched developments closely this year you will have seen that Bitcoin has so far struggled to hold above $9,300 each time it has tried to break above here it has not been sustained for more than a few days. We are already in May and I do not think that we will break $20,000 in 2018 more likely next year.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates: "I will short Bitcoin if I could” on: May 11, 2018, 06:02:50 AM
Sad to say that Bill Gates is officially past it, he may have been one of the worlds biggest movers and shakers in the 80s and 90s but he is well removed from the cutting edge of technology nowadays and his opinions are irrelevant as far as I am concerned. There are some very easy ways to short Bitcoin as 30 seconds on Google will show, and the fact he doesn't know this emphasises how out of touch he is.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: May 11, 2018, 05:58:19 AM
April was actually the optimum time to have bought Ethereum as the price briefly dipped to $350 as somebody that gets paid each 14 days in Ethereum each time it drops allows me to load for the following climbs. I also use USDT to hedge some of my payments otherwise the drops also leave you with less FIAT purchasing power. I would never go all in with any coin however it is far too risky a strategy.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is back on: May 10, 2018, 06:40:19 AM
Binance is a great exchange to use but its still only crypto in or out ie no FIAT gateway which is one advantage that Kraken offered. The trading fees are great some coins withdraw fees are lower than others but if you don't move things in and out to often then its not that bad.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: May 10, 2018, 06:35:19 AM
Facebook isn't against bitcoin at all, the restrictions just depend on which country you are located in. I see ICO advertisements on my newsfeed daily so I know for sure it still accepts them.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: May 10, 2018, 06:29:36 AM
I think one day NEO will be at around $300 - $400 level but expect this to be a long slow growth process not a fast jump to mega profits. Investing at prices sub $100 for NEO should always be a sensible strategy.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: May 09, 2018, 08:37:28 AM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

Another lesson to be learned is that you didn't lose anything. By the sounds of it you did make a profit, and that what you actually did was miss out on making a bigger profit by sitting still.

A good strategy is to cover your initial investment in a coin and leave the rest running just in case.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and the SEC on: May 09, 2018, 08:24:42 AM
It seems like the past 12 months there has been a glut of odd stories that come out and then go nowhere. This does seem like market manipulation to me, I feel sorry for those that have lost out by taking actions based on this.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC might trigger a bloodbath today: >50%: May 7th: Wake Up! on: May 08, 2018, 11:43:19 AM
Took a long hard look at this last Saturday / Sunday and concluded this smelled fishy, it just made no actual sense why the SEC would make any specific ruling about a 3+ year old coin.

Turns out it was fake news to manipulate the market, so shame on all those that promoted this event.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins on: May 08, 2018, 11:40:31 AM
Hey man this is crypto, by definition, none of them is actually stable and as yet nearly all are backed by nothing. We are starting to see some of the ICO projects move forward however and they now have a working platform and application to support the value of their coin. Best opportunities are in the more mature large coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum which maintain good liquidity but are still volatile at times.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better Ripple or Tron? on: May 07, 2018, 05:35:55 AM
Ripple has already achieved mainstream adoption and is being used by banks and other financial related organisations to facilitate transfers. I would prefer to stick with XRP as it has a more assured future use.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: May 07, 2018, 04:42:55 AM
Many people can easily debunk that statement and 2 prime examples of this would be Bitcoin and Ethereum. I didn't even get in at the start of Bitcoin I bought in 2015 at around $550 and just sat on them. The point is you have to choose good coins to invest in to begin with.
