504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Startups companies on: April 28, 2019, 02:34:53 PM
Do you believe in the crypto startups? As a member of a startup exchange I want to ask you:

Do you go and give a chance on new exchanges or you stick on the same for a long time?
If not why ? Smiley

I think to consider the best possible exchange existing on the market, we shouldn't not always tolerate such projects pertaining to an exchange as they are not necessarily needed. We should always focus on what we have already because they, themselves can already fix their issues if we are here to support them. Also to avoid being exposed to risk.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: April 28, 2019, 05:41:35 AM
The main question is: Do we really need altcoins?

First of all, it was quite difficult to read your.. text. You should learn to format it, really.

Now, altcoins are not useless. They are at least a wonderful training ground for new ideas. Some of those ideas are incorporated into Bitcoin, some of those coins become used by themselves.
Maybe you know that Ethereum or Monero were not the first altcoins. Monero was not even the first cryptonote coin!

Also you are wrong about only BTC-ETH-XMR being accepted. There are other altcoins accepted here and there. Not so many, I know, still, more than nothing. So we have to give them a chance (of course, I talk here about the legit new coins, not about the useless forks or clones).

I think the main factor that determines if you can altcoins are useless is because, there are way too many altcoins nowadays, and to consider, there are altcoins that don't really have a value at this moment, in my opinion, that is only the altcoins that we can consider irrelevant or useless in some sense.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 28, 2019, 05:39:48 AM
Do any of you have plans on how you'll eventually spend your crypto?

I'll be using Zeex Cool Their protocol lets you to buy gift cards directly with crypto and spend them with major retailers like Amazon, Starbucks, Playstation etc. with no fees. And they're backed by their sister company Zeek, which is already the biggest gift card provider in Europe, so the platform will be up and running quickly after their token sale.

Here is their website if you're interested: https://www.zeex.me/

I think you are not pertaining to something that is a direct using of cryptocurrency but rather to first buy some giftcards that let you spend your cryptoassets. I can see, it would be much better if there are some cards that we just need to tap in, in order to pay and create some transactions that we need.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 28, 2019, 05:17:43 AM
That's sure. Any investments has also risky, so to protect our money, we must do our own research before invest in. In crypto market, we have seen a lot of projects which scammed. Bitcointalk forum is one of places to search/ report scammers.

I remember when I've read a topic before stating that, bounty managers contribute greatly on which projects to choose, and I think it is really effective if we are going to see the need to figure out which ICO is the best through the best bounty managers that we can encounter here on the bitcoin talk forum?
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: April 28, 2019, 05:03:36 AM
I agree with the OP that by time, there will be more cryptocurrencies and exchanges that are more innovative than current ones. But, it doesnt mean there will be currency that stronger or more innovative than Bitcoin. I mean that Bitcoin will be always leading blockchain product and if Bitcoin dies, it means that crypto world is dead.

I don't really think of that idea because as I can see, bitcoin is being popular as a cryptocurrency that starts all of it, and through that, what they've just built, is the reputation that they need in order to be steady. I think there is still some cryptocurrencies that are better than BTC even though, it has already a lightning network, still, transaction speed of other altcoins is better.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Stablecoins A Necessary Evil? on: April 26, 2019, 04:51:40 AM
If they are giving protection against volatility, They are helping to increase liquidity then I do not think terming them "evil" is correct.
I do not think our dependence on them is going to reduce because market will not like to reduce the liquidity.

I think that is because, they are promoting large business and to invite big businessman here on the cryptocurrency space? Because if we are going to look at the situation, when investors think about a stable market price, they might buy and accumulate huge amount of it. Disregarding other crypto's leaving behind.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: April 26, 2019, 04:48:13 AM
Yes, now is the time to invest, it looks like the market starts to grow, investment can be done in several stages or at the same time, there is no problem if you are ready.

What do you mean "at the same time"? I think it is better if we could not just invest on single moment, but consider the fact that we could diversify out investment on different time frames. I wonder if the lesson I've watch about time frame investment really worth it but maybe it is better for the crypto community market.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: April 26, 2019, 04:46:36 AM
In my opinion, crypto is not only confusing you now, but almost all bounty hunters, including me, have difficulty earning income. unstable market conditions and also many fake ICOs that continue to emerge.

I just recently cashed out my funds out of the market rather than buy USDT, I think the market for now will going to get better, and as I have a time to think, I will going to change and improve my decisions to avoid my mistakes in the future. We are all having troubles on crypto, it might screw us all the time, but be sure, that soon, we can fix our mistakes to do allot more better for us and the crypto space.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to pick altcoin on: April 26, 2019, 04:44:29 AM
I know many will say the time ended, we must have bought before 15 days but I think this is the best time. Before couple of weeks ago, BTC was around $4k and which is why altcoins are overpriced in term of BTC. Now that BTC has gained price, altcoins price has decreased in term of BTC and now is the best time to pick your favorite altcoin because right after the BTC ride, altcoin will also follow the trend.

I want to recommend some altcoins for you. I think in this time where bitcoin has finally set up for the start of altcoin march. We can try to pick and choose some coins that are from exchanges primarily such as Binance coin, IRX from ironx. And some coins that mainly used for trading for less transaction fees. In that case we can assure a good profit when these coins climb up to the market.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 25, 2019, 03:04:03 AM
this is not exactly "greed" it is called newbishness.

because when you are a newbie you obviously don't know what is going on. so instead of using your experience (which doesn't exist for newbies) they have to rely on their emotions and the advertisement they read from other pumpers that are fooling them. as a result they end up thinking they can make more money and continue bag holding instead of cashing out.

I think they are not getting mistake on holding their investment even if they continue accumulating more and more crypto to their porfolio. What they are doing is really supporting the market to make it stable through hodling. And if the volume of newbies will increase further soon, they are as important as whales to consider.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: April 25, 2019, 03:01:41 AM
Both are good, though in LTC the captain already left the boat.

Why not have them both? and before anything else do you own some bitcoin already? the price of the two is still not so high so whichever you choose you still have a good coin hold. This isn't a hard choice to make unlike those who asks between LTC and an unknown coin.

I haven't really become fond of investing on LTC. Honestly, I don't see the reason why I should invest on it. Or maybe, it is just 2019 now, and I missed out what LTC have just done good before. In fact, not a single transaction happened with me concerning the use of LTC. Still ETH suits better for me.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: April 25, 2019, 02:59:38 AM
Day trading is not suitable for beginner, it is for experienced trader. If you have been trading for a long time then you can do day trading.

Basically, beginners will just going to invest an insufficient amount of their investment to try how trading works especially on top exchanges so far, but what I am seeing here is that, their investment will surely be a loss since the transaction fee's from trading will just going to wipe out their investment.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: April 25, 2019, 02:58:09 AM
I think that now it makes no sense to invest in altcoins Sad

How could you say so? Have you ever tried to invest on altcoins? Considerably, invest big then earn a profit at all? I think you haven't if you wish to see how profitable trading is, maybe you could try to put some investment on some exchange platform. Start to learn as early as now.

Winklevoss Twins' Gemini Crypto Exchange Gets Regulatory Green Light for Litecoin Trading

U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, owned by the Winklevoss twins, has sealed regulatory approval to add Litecoin (LTC) custody and trading. The news comes from an official Medium blog post published Friday, Oct. 12.

Gemini’s vice president of engineering, Eric Winer, informs Gemini traders that they can begin depositing Litecoin into their exchange accounts as of 9:30 am EDT Saturday, Oct. 13. Litecoin trading will reportedly go live Tuesday, October 16th at 9:30 am EDT.

The coin is set to be the fourth crypto supported on the platform, alongside Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Zcash (ZEC). Consequently, LTC trading pairs will be available against all three cryptos, as well as against the U.S. dollar.

Winer’s post underscores Gemini’s thoroughgoing “banking compliance and fiduciary obligations” under oversight from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). It notes that Litecoin trading support comes as the result of close cooperation with the watchdog, and that the exchange continues to expand with a “security-first” approach.

At this moment of April 24, 2019, most of the alts are down and going down further more as the binance turns out doing the opposite. I think a day later, we can see the oversold indicators and coins that will be promising to strike and bounce back again. What we need to do is to be active on the exchanges where we can easily buy the dip of these altcoins.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: April 24, 2019, 05:14:09 AM
If bitcoin will reach 20k usd then BNB coin will be aprox.70 usd with current BNB price.on that time BNB coin coin will be the most deairable coin.
This is the right time to invest in BNB coin..
This coin will touch 100 usd surely in future.it has a great potential.
Ico price was 0.1 usd and today.....😵insane growth
Hold it for long time

I've read a topic here stating that binance is a way too complex market that it can be a monopoly for big investors to determine which cryptocurrency will be the ideal. In short, it can determine the market price of cryptocurrencies which I find misleading and a sort of inappropriate. I think people should be free to choose which coin to invest yes, but with the fear of what binance can do to the market is a big topic.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 24, 2019, 05:10:47 AM
Exactly, but there a few advantages of this IEO compare to regular ICO. Before that coin listed to be sold at exchanger, the team behind it must be complete some sort of KYC right? that's mean now we know that all people that listed on the page is real and not just some random picture from Google. If an exchanger wants to list a coin to sell without doing some background checking that exchanger name itself will be bad.

Somehow, accurate I can say, that's why investors are preferring IEO's rather than ICO's much safer, and there is an assurance that the coin will going to be listed, a bonus is that, they might be listed on big exchanges. But I think in the end, there is not much positive implications we can get if the market gets overloaded with lots of cryptocurrencies.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: April 24, 2019, 05:08:50 AM
Why do new investors consider the IEO a scam / Should I invest in IEO?
The fact that IEO is a form of mobilization is very smart because it minimizes risks for investors. However, there are two big problems that are common in IEO: the number of tokens that are being held too much by some people, if the token floor will bring a good amount to them, if the token is reduced to the floor then they will quickly take a loss or sell out of the market but the big risk is to be in new investors. Therefore, for those who have lost their money in this market, they lose faith and consider it a fraud.
Everyone please rate IEO projects on the exchanges
what I know is IEO is a kind of ICOs, but make sure that the token will be listed on the exchange sites when it is sold, but all of the exchange sites are not sure about the success of IEO projects in the future.

What I've known about IEO's is simply, some kind of market manipulation that can drive a certain crypto up to bullish. But I think the best factor there is that, it is surely be listed on a promising exchange. And that makes sense when you are seeking much safety in reduce the risk you are taking. I think IEO's are good with the best exchange such as Binance, bitfinex and etc.
